Languages: English is our main working language day to day, so you'll need to be comfortable communicating in it both in meetings and async.
As our Senior HLR/HSS Specialist, you are the guardian of our subscriber data and the architect of our roaming efficiency. You won't just manage databases; you will own the life-cycle of HSS/HLR templates that allow our MVNO to scale globally. Your expertise in Profile & Template Engineering is critical to our success in maximising COGS and margin through sophisticated Steering of Roaming (SoR) and Sponsor Roaming integrations.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Design and maintain HLR/HSS subscriber templates, ensuring precise configuration of roaming profiles, APN/PDN contexts, and Camel/Diameter triggers.
Collaborate with roaming partners to implement and refine SoR logic within the HLR/HSS, ensuring subscribers attach to preferred networks based on cost and quality.
Lead the technical deployment of Full MVNO profiles, managing specific QoS profiles and addressing (GTs, APNs) required for independent network operations.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for our System Integrators, auditing HLR/HSS configurations, reviewing change requests, and ensuring alignment with the 2026 roadmap.
Define and monitor critical HLR/HSS KPIs, including Location Update (LU) success rates and Diameter Transaction per Second (TPS) limits.
What you’ll need:
Deep technical mastery of MAP (SS7) and Diameter (S6a/S13) protocols; additional experience with VoLTE Roaming (S8HR) or SMSoIP rollout is a significant advantage.
Subscriber Mapping: Extensive experience with HLR, HSS, and UDM (User Data Management) in a multi-tenant or MVNO/E environment.
Practical experience with Multi-IMSI applets and the logic required to manage roaming through Sponsor IMSIs.
A solid understanding of GSMA IREG (IR series); familiarity with TADIG (TD series) and how HSS/HLR templates impact billing/settlement is preferred.
A "detective" mindset for troubleshooting complex signalling failures using tools like Wireshark or roaming-specific platforms (e.g., Mobileum, Roamware, or SIGOS).
Proven ability to manage technical projects with external System Integrators and roaming partners under tight deadlines.
Bonus Points
Experience with 5G Unified Data Management (UDM) and Authentication Server Functions (AUSF).
Knowledge of Cloud Native Network Functions (CNF) and containerised core deployments.
Scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automating provisioning audits or log parsing.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
This role sits at the frontier of our research agenda. You will pursue open problems at the intersection of post-training methodology and performant inference, and then collaborate with research engineering to translate findings into production systems.
A meaningful portion of your time will be dedicated to research that deepens our understanding of how models learn, alignment, and architectural efficiency — questions that may not have immediate product application. The remainder will be directed toward research that solves concrete problems for Baseten's platform and customers, who are the fastest growing AI companies in the world like Cursor, Lovable, and Notion.
We are looking for someone with sharp research taste and genuine creative instinct for problem selection. Someone who can identify questions that matter, design clean experiments to answer them, and push the state of the art. The environment here is not theoretical, but rather research that can be validated with eager customers who are serving billions of tokens a second.
The Manifesto: https://labs.baseten.co/manifesto
RECENT RESEARCH
- Towards infinite context windows: neural KV cache compaction https://www.baseten.co/research/towards-infinite-context-windows-neural-kv-cache-compaction/
- Dense, on-policy or both? https://www.baseten.co/research/dense-on-policy-or-both/
- Repeated kv cache for long-running agents https://www.baseten.co/research/repeated-kv-cache-for-long-running-agents/
- Distillation without the dark – replicating black-box on-policy distillation on Baseten https://www.baseten.co/research/distillation-without-the-dark/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and pursue a research agenda spanning both foundational and applied work, with the applied component connected to Baseten's platform and customer needs.
- Design and execute rigorous experiments, frequently at meaningful scale (multi-node, trillion parameter models).
- Work with customers to translate domain-specific requirements into research problems, where relevant to your agenda.
- Publish at top venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) and establish Baseten's research presence.
- Collaborate with model performance and training infrastructure teams to bridge research findings and inference production systems.
- Mentor junior researchers and shape the technical direction of the research organization as it grows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or PhD research depth in machine learning, with first-author publications at top venues
- Demonstrated ability to move from theory through implementation to empirical results — not exclusively theoretical or exclusively engineering work
- Judgment about problem selection, the ability to distinguish research that advances a metric from research that changes how systems are built
- Willingness to operate in a startup environment where the majority of research informs product decisions, with timelines measured in months rather than years
- Background spanning multiple research areas (e.g., both interpretability and RL, or both systems and training methodology)
- Track record of open-source contributions or community building in ML research
OUR VIEW ON TALENT
Many of the labs that exist today run a credentialist talent model. Concentrate the most already-legible researchers, and assume the concentration compounds. The best researchers in this field are very often not yet legible. Research engineers who have spent years inside a production stack and developed insights no PhD program teaches; PhDs working on the wrong-shaped problem at the right-shaped lab; operators who have been close to real systems long enough to see things credentialed researchers have never had to see. If you don’t have the traditional qualifications and are doing exceptional work, we’d love to chat.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
We are hiring our first Tokyo-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day to day. Additionally, you’ll help us identify – and close – gaps in our team’s technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale.
This role requires native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, as candidates will support both Japanese-speaking customers and those across APAC/ANZ in English.
Note: Specialists in Tokyo will work 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Become an expert in all Anthropic products
Respond to user support cases, in English and Japanese, with a variety of complexity, from simple billing or account questions for individuals to complex API debugging for large businesses
Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model to assisting consumer users in a rapid pace
Manage on-call tasks for high-urgency user issues with extreme ownership. This includes being on critical ‘pager duty’ during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 Support for Critical Queries.
Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape
Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations
Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale
Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates
Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in providing technical product support, in both English and Japanese, within a second tier, escalated, or priority support team.
Are familiar with APIs and technical SaaS products and can deeply understand technical docs with ease
Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g. CSAT, SLA, etc.)
Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution
Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details
Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts
Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward
Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team – this is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work. And particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC.
Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products
Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team!
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

THE ROLE
At Baseten, we are building the global operating system for distributed, heterogeneous AI hardware. We believe that as LLM and multi-modal workloads scale, the network is the computer. We are looking for foundational engineers to lead our GPU Networking efforts, making RDMA a first-class building block in our infrastructure and unlocking the next generation of distributed inference optimizations.
Networking and compute are no longer separate disciplines; they are converging. The massive throughput of H100, B200, and NVL72 architectures enables and demands a new approach where communication is co-optimized alongside computation. We are entering an era where the network is an active accelerator, leveraging smart hardware offloads and direct interconnects to ensure that data movement operates at wire-speed.
In this role, you will go beyond network configuration to architect the software fabric that unifies thousands of GPUs into a cohesive operating system. While you will leverage the best of the open-source ecosystem, you won't be limited by it. Where off-the-shelf solutions stop, you will build from scratch, engineering the primitives required to co-optimize communication and compute for Disaggregated Serving, Wide Expert Parallelism (WideEP), and lightening cold starts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make RDMA First-Class: You will work on integrating RDMA/RoCE/InfiniBand capabilities directly into our inference stack, helping us move beyond TCP/IP to unlock order-of-magnitude improvements in bandwidth and latency.
- Optimize Distributed Inference: You will implement and tune the networking layers necessary for efficient Disaggregated KV Cache Offload and WideEP, ensuring seamless communication across NVLink and InfiniBand for our MoE models.
- Enable Serverless-Grade Startup Speeds for LLMs: You will work deeply with checkpointing and storage mechanisms to enable sub-10-second startup for trillion-parameter models.
- Deep-Dive into Hardware: You will characterize and validate networking performance on bleeding-edge clusters (H100/H200, B200/B300, GB200/300 NVL72), writing the acceptance tests that ensure our hardware delivers peak achievable throughput and minimal latency.
- Build Observability: You will design the tools that let us visualize packet flow, congestion, and effective bandwidth across the GPU interconnects, helping us diagnose complex distributed system behaviors.
- Optimize Kernels: You will work with communication libraries (NCCL, NVSHMEM) and potentially write custom communication kernels to overlap compute and data transfer.
REQUIREMENTS
- You have deep experience with high-performance networking protocols (InfiniBand, RoCE v2) and understand the physics of data movement.
- You are fluent in C++ or Python, with the ability to bridge the gap between high-level logic and hardware. You have a deep understanding of the memory hierarchy in modern NVIDIA architectures (H100/Blackwell) and know how to optimize for it.
- You like going deep. You aren't afraid to dive into TensorRT-LLM source code, write custom C++ / Python bindings, or debug NVLink topology issues.
- You know when to use an off-the-shelf solution and when we need to build a custom solution because the upstream tools (like standard Kubernetes networking) are too slow for our needs.
NICE TO HAVE
- Deep knowledge of NCCL, NVSHMEM, and UCX.
- Experience with Rust for systems-level or performance-critical networking code is a strong plus
- Experience with GPUDirect Storage (GDS) or high-performance filesystems like Weka or 3FS.
- Familiarity with TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, or SGLang.
- Experience running low-level benchmarks to "qualify" new hardware clusters.
THE TEAM
- Bleeding Edge Hardware: We are preparing to bring Blackwell (B200/B300) and then Rubin architectures online. You will be one of the first engineers in the industry optimizing networking for NVL72/GB300 racks.
- We go deep: We operate at every depth. Whether it’s tuning hardware interconnects, writing custom communication kernels, or designing distributed inference strategies, we work across the entire stack to deliver performance that goes far and beyond.
- High Impact: The networking optimizations you build will directly enable features that no one else in the industry has fully mastered yet, like seamless multi-node WideEP and instant model hydration.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.

Fluent English (C1/C2):
Clear, persuasive, and confident communication is second nature to you. You write tight recaps, lead sharp calls, and present strategy like you've done it a hundred times.
Analytical by default:
When KPIs dip, you don't wait for instructions. You dig into the data, find the lever, and adjust the approach before anyone has to ask.
Note:
If you're looking for a slow-moving, relationship-first role, this isn't it. We want someone who's already a strong operator in the sales process and ready to level up.
At Belkins Group, we care deeply about our team members, and we prove it through:

- Ensure solutions adhere to cryptographic security standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with delivery teams, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure architectures are buildable, testable, and operable
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and integration guides

- Mentor junior architects and developers on architectural patterns, blockchain best practices, and secure coding principles
What We Look for In You (Required Qualifications):
- 5-10 years of experience in solution architecture, platform engineering, or enterprise system implementation
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems, and cryptographic principles
- Experience designing multi-system platforms in regulated financial services environments
