Workplace: Hybrid
Senior Software Engineer, AI Enablement
The role & impact
You'll join a small team that builds the tools, platforms and best practices helping engineers across Xero work with AI. Rather than shipping something once and moving on, you'll own it end to end from early experimentation through to production, including the run books, monitoring and rollback thinking that keep it reliable once real engineers depend on it day to day.
This is a role with real influence. You'll help shape the technical direction of an internal skills marketplace and AI distribution platform used across the wider engineering organisation, work directly with vendors like AWS, Microsoft and GitHub on technology that isn't public yet, and help guide and challenge a team that's still early in its AI journey.
The team & how they connect
The AI Enablement team sits within Engineering Experience and focuses on helping product engineering teams work faster and better with AI through platforms, tooling and practical guidance rather than just standard tooling. It's a close-knit team, spread across Melbourne, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast, with a product manager based in Wellington, who stay connected through regular syncs and a genuinely collaborative way of working despite the distance.
Initially, you will focus on
- Our current stack is C#, .NET and AWS, with Python and TypeScript picked up along the way for AI tooling
- Building an internal skills marketplace and a distribution platform for AI tools used across Xero's engineering org
- Developing guidance and best practice for authoring agent skills, including agents for remediation tasks
- Collaborating directly with AWS, Microsoft and GitHub on early-access technology not yet available in market
Where and how you can work
You can be based anywhere in Australia, and we're also open to candidates based in New Zealand. The team works in a hybrid way and is used to connecting across time zones, with regular in person boost days to come together, plan and collaborate as a team.
Here are some of the things we're looking for, for this role
- You bring hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with C#, .NET and AWS — if your background is elsewhere, we're still keen to talk, as good engineers pick up new stacks quickly
- You've built internal tools or platforms that other engineers genuinely relied on
- Production discipline matters to you: You write runbooks, set up monitoring and think through rollback before anything goes live
- You communicate clearly and know how to bring people along with an idea, not just ship code quietly in the background
- You're curious about coding agents and AI-native tools, and you keep an eye on where AI engineering is heading
- You can challenge a decision directly and respectfully, and you learn new things in a structured, quality-focused way
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
ГибридseniorАвстралия, Новая Зеландия; You can be based anywhere in Australia, and we're also open to candidates based in New Zealand; The team works in a hybrid way and is used to connecting across time zones, with regular in person boost days to come together, plan and collaborate as a team

Location: Paris, France
Our Global Structure

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
About the Team
Wolt's Shared Service Center in Budapest is home to a team of 40 people who keep our operations running across markets. Ten of them focus on one mission: getting German merchants to live on Wolt quickly and correctly. They own the onboarding journey from the moment a partner signs to the day they start receiving orders. Now we're looking for someone to lead them.
As Onboarding Team Lead, you'll be based in Budapest and work closely with our Onboarding Operations team in Germany, reporting to the Global Head of Business Process Outsourcing Management. You'll lead a team of 12 FTE, own the German onboarding pipeline, and make sure every partner gets a smooth, high-quality start on Wolt. The team is experienced and established, and it's ready for a leader who can raise the bar on speed, quality and process, while being its biggest advocate.
What you’ll be doing
You'll be responsible for how quickly and how well German merchants are onboarded onto Wolt. That means leading the people, owning the pipeline, and keeping a close eye on the numbers. You'll build a solid understanding of the full onboarding landscape, including POS integrations, gear workflows, commission changes and offboarding. You'll also be the go-to person when things get stuck.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Lead, coach and develop a team of 12 FTE onboarding specialists, support them daily, and spot knowledge gaps and training needs.
Own the onboarding pipeline so it always reflects reality. New venues are assigned the same day, follow-ups and on-hold reasons stay up to date, and stalled cases get escalated or offboarded instead of left open.
Track the team's key onboarding KPIs, such as time to onboard and new live venues, so you always know where the team stands and can flag deviations early.
Work with Sales, Account Management, Product and the Onboarding Operations team in Germany to escalate blockers early and improve how we onboard.
Keep data quality high by validating issues yourself before escalating, sharing bug reports daily, and making sure partner information is accurate and complete.
Plan team capacity ahead of holidays, business trips and short weeks so no partner is ever left without an owner.
Our humble expectations
You have at least 2 years of experience leading a team of 8 or more people, including setting clear performance expectations and following up on them.
You have 3+ years of experience in operations in a fast-paced environment such as a marketplace, e-commerce or a shared service center.
You're fluent in both German and English, written and spoken, because you'll work daily with German partners and stakeholders.
You're comfortable working with data and use KPIs and dashboards to understand performance and make decisions.
You're structured and detail-oriented, and you keep pipelines, timelines and data accurate without being chased.
You take ownership, spot opportunities to improve processes, and drive changes independently.
What we offer
A key leadership role shaping how merchants in one of Wolt's biggest markets join the platform.
A team that's already up and running, so you can focus on raising the bar rather than starting from scratch.
Close collaboration with teams across Germany and Budapest, plus visibility across Sales, Account Management and Product.
Career growth opportunities in a fast-growing company, backed by comprehensive internal training.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.

Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role owns the partnerships behind how we reward Wealthsimple clients for their everyday spend and deepen their relationship with us. You'll own our perks and rewards ecosystem end to end: credit card partnerships, Milestone Rewards, Wealthsimple Offers, and the credit card cashback marketplace. The job is to turn these programs into a reason clients bring more of their financial lives to us, measured in adoption, consolidation, and engagement. You'll source, negotiate, and launch partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the country, and you'll build a lot of it from scratch. This is a builder's seat for someone who's done perks and rewards before and wants to own the function end to end.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Own credit card partnerships end to end: source, negotiate, and land partner-funded, card-native perks with national, household-name brands.
- Grow Wealthsimple Offers and the credit card cashback marketplace: build the roster across our top spend categories (travel, telecom, insurance, entertainment, grocery, transportation) and drive client adoption and redemption.
- Own Milestone Rewards: shape the mechanics and partner mix, and make the calls on when to revamp, expand, or retire.
- Lead commercial negotiations from first outreach to signed terms, landing economics that work for both our clients and the business.
- Turn card and marketplace data into a pipeline: find where the spend, the frequency, and the client value actually are, then go win those partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, PMM, Brand, Product, and data to launch, measure, and scale each program.
- Own the targets: offers live, unique clients engaging, redemption rates, and perks live per quarter, all tied to adoption, consolidation, and engagement.
SKILLS YOU'LL BRING:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, partnerships, and/or product-adjacent roles in banking or customer-focused industries.
- Perks and rewards experience. You've built or run a perks, rewards, or loyalty program before. This is the core of the role and we're looking for someone who's lived it, not read about it.
- Negotiation and commercial ownership. A master negotiator with a track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting targets, and turning partnerships into value.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs, economics, and scalability, and real comfort in spend and redemption data.
- Strategic partnership execution. Demonstrated experience developing and executing partnerships that require coordination across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- A 0-to-1 operator. Experience launching, building, or scaling programs in a new market with a high degree of autonomy.
- High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Credit card, card-linked offer, interchange, or payments experience. If you've worked on card perks or a card-linked marketplace, we especially want to talk.
- A loyalty pedigree: experience at a fintech, a financial institution, or a consumer brand with a serious loyalty program.
- Hands-on data skills: SQL or a BI tool (Looker, Preset, Tableau, or similar) to interrogate spend and redemption yourself.

Communicate product vision, strategy, and business impact to senior leadership.
Requirements

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
OVERVIEW
We are hiring an Applied AI Strategy & Ops Lead to own and evolve our internal tooling ecosystem across Ops. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with real ownership. You’ll work across a range of tools including support platforms, AI-driven systems, and internal automations to improve how our day-to-day operations function.
You'll act like a product manager, sitting at the intersection of Operations, Engineering, and our frontline teams. You’ll partner closely with Ops leadership to set priorities, then turn them into results: refining the systems we already have, introducing new tools where they’re needed, and making sure our stack scales with the business.
This is not a AI/MI engineer or developer role. You won’t be writing production code. If your background is primarily software development, this role probably isn’t the right fit.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the roadmap for Ops tooling: gather needs from Ops leadership and frontline teams, prioritize based on impact, and make clear trade-offs.
- Design and improve workflows and automations across our support platform, AI tools, and internal systems, configuring them yourself where it makes sense.
- Partner with engineers and developers to scope requirements, write technical specs, and prioritize tooling work that matters most to Ops.
- Execute against high-priority tooling and automation initiatives across the operational stack.
- Translate defined problems into practical, well-scoped technical solutions
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current tooling and proactively address them
- Troubleshoot issues, improve system reliability, and ensure tools perform effectively in production
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in how our systems connect and operate together
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Product thinking: You’ve owned a tool, process, or internal product end to end, from defining the problem to measuring the result.
- Technical Fluency - You’re comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and automation tooling. You can build and debug independently and hold your own in technical conversations with engineers.
- Execution Discipline - You take defined problems and drive them through to completion. You manage multiple priorities effectively and maintain a high bar for quality and reliability.
- Systems Thinking - You understand how tools, workflows, and dependencies connect. You look for ways to improve how systems operate together, not just individual components.
- Problem Solving - You can take loosely defined or scoped problems and translate them into practical, well-structured solutions.
- Ownership Mindset - You take responsibility for delivering high-quality work and improving the team’s day-to-day operations through better tooling and processes.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working with support platforms such as Zendesk
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools and automation workflows
- Background in Ops, Support, or CX environments
- Experience working with evolving or fragmented tooling stacks
HIRING PROCESS
- Application
- Case Study
- Case Interview with a team member
- Interview with Head of Core Services
- Interview with Head of Operations
- Final Culture Interview with Executive Leadership

THE ROLE
We are hiring a Team Lead, Web3 to lead a cross-functional team of frontend, backend, smart contract and QA engineers in XsollaZK, Xsolla's Web3 ecosystem on a zkSync-based L2. Your team builds:
smart wallets built on account abstraction;
SDKs that game studios and partners use to bring players on-chain;
infrastructure backend services for tokenizing in-game items and currencies;
ecosystem dApps: a DEX, an NFT marketplace and an auction.
This is a management role. Most of your time goes to people and delivery: building the team, growing engineers, and making delivery predictable. The rest goes to technical leadership: architecture, reviews and hands-on code where it matters.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The team: hiring, onboarding, growth and performance of frontend, backend, smart contract and QA engineers
Delivery: predictable commitments, a sustainable pace and the quality of what the team ships
How the team works: processes, engineering standards and an AI-assisted workflow
Relationships with Product, DevOps and other
Xsolla
product teams: priorities, dependencies and expectations
The technical direction of the team's product area: on-chain / off-chain architecture and key technical decisions, justified in writing
Security and reliability of what the team ships: signing flows, contracts that hold user assets, production operation and the team's on-call rotation
WHAT YOU WILL DO
People
Set clear goals and expectations for each engineer
Run regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career development conversations; give direct feedback and address underperformance
Hire engineers across disciplines: define roles, run interviews and onboard new people
Grow engineers through mentoring and build the team's next leaders
Build a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and continuous learning
Delivery
Work with Product to shape requirements, estimate and plan work
Manage scope, workload, risks and dependencies so the team delivers on its commitments
Report progress, risks and blockers to stakeholders
Lead the team through production incidents and post-mortems
Continuously improve development processes and team efficiency
Technical leadership
Review architecture and critical code across backend, frontend and smart contracts, with a focus on edge cases specific to
Xsolla
products: smart wallets, tokenization of in-game items and currencies, marketplace and auction flows
Lead key decisions on smart wallet integration (UserOperations, paymaster and gas sponsorship), session keys and the signing flow
Identify systemic risks (key management, signature phishing, bundler and
RPC
dependencies) and make sure they are addressed before they become incidents
Contribute hands-on to critical features when needed
Set up AI tooling in the repositories (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor: rules, context, harness) and drive its adoption across the team
REQUIRED
Management experience
5+ years of engineering management experience
Managing cross-functional teams that combine several disciplines (for example frontend, backend, smart contracts and QA)
Teams you led shipped dApps to production and maintained them

Performance management: setting goals, giving feedback, running performance reviews, handling underperformance

Working with Product and other teams on priorities and trade-offs; explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
Leading a team through production incidents and post-mortems
Balancing management with hands-on technical work
Technical depth
A strong technical background: hands-on engineering experience across the Web3 stack, deep enough to lead technical decisions and review work on each layer:
Web3 libraries and wallets: viem and wagmi in production; how wallet signers work (EOAs, browser and embedded wallets, smart accounts, EIP-191, EIP-712, EIP-1193); smart wallets (UserOperations, paymasters, ERC-1271)
