We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Your main goal will be to empower n8n enterprise users to treat automation as software, enabling them to develop, deploy, and scale mission-critical workflows with absolute confidence.
To do so, you’ll own product strategy and execution for n8n’s Enterprise team, focused on application lifecycle management, developer tools, and production-grade workflow operations:
WORKFLOW LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT
- Define how teams move workflows from development to production with clear environment separation and promotion paths.
- Shape capabilities for workflow version history, rollback, branching, and conflict resolution.
- Build product experiences that help engineering teams safely manage changes across mission-critical automations.
ENTERPRISE DEVELOPER EXPERIENCE
- Own Git-based source control workflows that make n8n fit naturally into modern software development practices.
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver powerful yet intuitive tools for technical teams.
- Translate complex developer workflows into product experiences that feel reliable, scalable, and easy to adopt.
PRODUCTION OPERATIONS AND OBSERVABILITY
- Build visibility into workflow performance, usage, and reliability across environments and instances.
- Define how enterprise teams manage external secrets, variables, and configuration across deployments.
- Help customers operate n8n at scale through multi-instance management and cross-instance visibility.
PRODUCT DISCOVERY AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Deeply engage with enterprise customers, engineering leaders, admins, and developers to understand their software delivery needs.
- Prioritize ruthlessly across technical depth, usability, enterprise readiness, and long-term platform leverage.
- Align Engineering, Design, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership through clear strategy, specs, and communication.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- Proven product management experience: You’ve shipped complex technical products in enterprise environments and can point to lessons learned that shaped your craft.
- Strong developer empathy: You understand how engineering teams build, test, version, deploy, and operate software in production.
- Thrive in ambiguity: You bring structure to fuzzy technical problems and prioritize clearly across many possible directions.
- Exceptional product sense: You anticipate edge cases, second-order effects, and enterprise-grade reliability needs without needing perfect information.
- Ownership and bias for action: You fix what’s broken, ship, learn, and iterate rather than over-plan.
- Influence without authority: You align engineering, design, data, sales, solutions engineering, customer success, and docs through clarity and trust.
- Technical product judgment: You’re comfortable making tradeoffs across usability, scalability, security, reliability, and implementation complexity.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Git and source control experience: You’ve worked on or closely with products involving Git, branching, versioning, pull requests, or conflict resolution.
- Enterprise security experience: You understand secrets management, environment variables, access control, or secure configuration patterns.
- Observability experience: You’ve worked on products involving monitoring, usage insights, performance visibility, or operational dashboards.
- Coding or SQL skills: You can code, write SQL, or go deep enough technically to partner effectively with engineers on architecture-level discussions.
- Remote work experience: You’re familiar with remote-first work environments and can collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Entrepreneurial or early-stage experience: You’ve worn many hats and can navigate in many areas at once.
Why join us?
At n8n, your work won’t disappear into a slide deck. You’ll shape how engineering teams build, version, deploy, and operate mission-critical automations at scale — turning n8n into the platform where automation is treated with the same rigor as software. You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first team with high autonomy, strong technical ambition, and direct visibility into enterprise customer impact.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?
Apply now — and help us build the future of automation.

You will have the opportunity to deliver massive impact at a hypergrowth company backed by some of the top investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS. In January 2026, we closed a $250M Series C led by ICONIQ, valuing Rain at $1.95B, with Sapphire Ventures, Dragonfly, Bessemer Venture Partners, Galaxy Ventures, FirstMark, Lightspeed, Norwest, and Endeavor Catalyst also participating. If you're curious, bold, and excited to help shape a borderless financial future, we'd love to talk.
OUR ETHOS
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Security Engineering is a small team that answers one question: was it built right? We run our own AI-driven red team against Rain's code and cloud, gate pull requests before they merge, and write the baselines that say how every system should be configured. Our blockchain work is covered. This role owns everything else: the backend services, APIs, cloud, and edge that move real money for real customers.
We work closely with Security Operations: we give them high-quality findings to coordinate fixes for, and clear configuration rules they can build detections on.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Security Engineering makes sure Rain is built right. We run our own AI-driven red team against our code and cloud, gate pull requests before they merge, and set the baselines for how every system is configured. This role owns everything outside blockchain: the backend services, APIs, cloud, and edge that move real money. We give Security Operations high-quality findings to coordinate fixes for, and clear configuration rules to build detections on.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be Rain's application security expert and the quality bar for every non-chain finding we produce. The calls are yours: what's real, how bad it is, and what has to be fixed before launch. You'll hold the line with engineers when it matters, and make the case so they agree, not just comply.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review red team findings before they reach engineers: reproduce them, cut false positives, set severity, and write tickets clear enough to fix without a meeting. Improve the scoring that grades them
- Harden our backend services and APIs, especially the money-moving paths. You'll often write the fix yourself
- Own edge defenses: DDoS protection, rate limiting, WAF rules, and abuse controls
- Write secure configuration baselines for our cloud, code, and SaaS, and turn them into automated checks
- Grow our PR security gate so more bugs are blocked before merge
- Own attack surface coverage, and run architecture reviews on new and high-risk systems
- Find, test, and pick the best security tools, whether we buy, adopt, or build
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years in application security, product security, or security-minded backend engineering
- You've owned security decisions. You can tell a senior engineer their design needs to change and keep a good working relationship
- You can read an unfamiliar codebase (TypeScript/Node.js) and find the bug that matters, and you know a scary-sounding finding from a real one
- Hands-on cloud security (ideally GCP), Terraform, and edge defenses like WAFs and rate limiting
- Experience with threat models or architecture reviews. You've run tool bake-offs and dropped tools that didn't earn their cost
- You'd rather ship a check than write a document, and you use AI tools heavily without trusting them blindly
BONUS ATTRIBUTES
- Fintech, payments, or card issuing background (PCI DSS a plus)
- Pentest, bug bounty, or red team experience
- Experience building security scanners, static analysis rules, or LLM-based review tools
- If you have the background: AI security for our agents and agentic payments, or corporate security alongside IT

Senior Software Engineer - AI & Agentic Architecture
This is a senior individual-contributor role combining deep hands-on engineering with multiple agentic frameworks & SDKs, harnesses, MCP, and APIs, technical leadership, and close collaboration with engineering, security, and product teams. You'll design and ship agentic systems, developer tooling, and reusable platform capabilities that improve productivity across SIE.
What you'll do:
Agentic & AI Engineering
Design, build, and operate production-quality agentic applications using agentic SDKs/harnesses — including multi-agent orchestration, subagent delegation, tool integration, and lifecycle hooks.
Design Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool and resource interfaces that give coding agents/harnesses safe, reliable access to backend systems and enterprise data.
Engineer prompts for reliable structured output (JSON schemas, few-shot examples, validation/retry loops) and build evaluation frameworks to measure and improve output quality.
Manage context effectively across long documents, multi-turn conversations, and multi-agent handoffs; design escalation and human-in-the-loop patterns for production reliability.
Developer Productivity
Configure and extend Codex/Claude Code for team-wide use:
AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md
hierarchies, custom slash commands, Agent Skills, path-specific rules, and plan mode.
Integrate agentic development into CI/CD pipelines for automated code review, test generation, and PR feedback, tuned to minimize false positives and duplicate findings.
Build and maintain MCP server integrations (project- and user-scoped) that extend agent-native development capabilities across engineering workflows.
Identify high-value opportunities for AI-assisted development and design reusable capabilities that multiple teams can adopt, not just one-off solutions.
Discovery, Prototyping & Production Delivery
Partner directly with engineering teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities through hands-on discovery.
Rapidly prototype and validate new AI capabilities with real users, then take successful prototypes into secure, observable, maintainable production systems.
Own the full lifecycle: implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Technical Leadership
Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting of agentic systems.
Mentor engineers on agentic design patterns, prompt engineering, and agent-native development practices.
Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, and documentation that help other teams build effectively with agentic development tools.
Requirements
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands-on work building and operating AI/LLM-powered or agentic applications.
Strong programming skills (Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C++) and solid engineering fundamentals — API design, testing, debugging, code review, maintainable code.
Practical, production-grade experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, and LLMs — tool use, orchestration, RAG, context management, structured output, and evaluation.
Experience designing MCP tool/resource interfaces and reasoning about tool selection, error handling, and reliability in multi-agent systems.
Demonstrated experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.
Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces, evaluate tradeoffs, and make pragmatic engineering decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring and leading through influence.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise across agentic architecture, MCP integration, Codex/Claude Code configuration, prompt engineering, and context management.
Experience building multi-agent research or customer support systems, or structured data extraction pipelines.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps in support of AI/agentic infrastructure.
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and AI evaluation frameworks.
Contributions to open-source projects involving AI, agentic systems, or developer tooling.
Strong systems thinking — understands how models, agents, tools, context, APIs, data, and infrastructure fit together as production systems, and can reason about dependencies and tradeoffs across the stack.
A track record of adapting quickly to new AI tools, models, and frameworks as the space evolves.

ABOUT US
Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights.
Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Finland already love running on Tebi.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own design for the heart of Tebi: the point of sale, kitchen display and payment flows that restaurants use every minute of service.
On a busy Friday night, one restaurant might run Tebi on an iPad at the bar, handhelds on the floor, payment terminals at the tables, screens in the kitchen and a printer at the pass. All of it has to work together, often for staff who only started that week. A lot of merchants like Tebi because it's as easy to use as a consumer app, so training new staff takes less time. You'll help keep it that way as the product grows.
You'll work with a product manager and five engineers, and across teams on the work we share.
Some of the problems waiting for you:
- Making onboarding so simple that a restaurant can get set up and run its first service with confidence.
- Making the kitchen display valuable even for kitchens that still print tickets.
As a design team, we want to ship work we're proud of, own our seat at the table, and push the company to aim higher.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own design for the core aspects of hospitality service. The sales flow on the POS, the floor plan during service, the kitchen display, receipts and cash management.
- Make paying the easy part. Checkout, splitting the bill, tips and service charges, settling up, and the terminals staff use to take payment.
- Own the design system in the native app. We want the whole Tebi platform to share one design DNA. You'll own how it shows up in our native app: the design system, its components, and the details of how they're built.
- Work AI-first and design AI into the product. Prototype in code, ship UI yourself, and help reinvent Tebi to be more helpful and proactive, like setup that configures itself for each restaurant.
- Champion our merchants. Get close to the people who run their business on Tebi, and help the whole company understand them too.
- Shape what we build. You'll work with the PM and engineers on which problems we take on and how we solve them.
- Help the whole team level up. We're a small team, so your experience goes a long way. You'll mentor, give feedback and help other designers do their best work.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- You've led design end to end on a product people depend on, and other designers looked to you on craft.
- You make complex things feel simple. Your work holds up for someone using it for the first time, in a rush, with a queue in front of them.
- You're at home in the complicated system underneath: states, edge cases, money, and what happens when things go wrong.
- You use AI tools in your work, or you're keen to learn fast. It's a requirement of the role, but we don't expect you to be an expert on day one.
It's a bonus if you've worked on:
- Native apps for tablets, phones or handhelds
- Payments or fintech
- Products that span several devices or real hardware
- Building or running a design system

WHAT IS RESTAURANT SOFTWARE?
Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don’t. It’s a mess, and we are fixing it.
From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it’s a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy.
HOW WE USE AI AT TEBI
We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed.
At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn’t make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it.
