About the Role
We are an international broker. Our clients fund and withdraw through approximately 60 payment methods across Asia, Africa, LATAM, and the Middle East.
Payments Product is now a standalone function, and we are building the team around it. This is an early core hire.
We are looking for a Payment Integration Manager who will own payment integrations end to end—from the initial technical call with a provider through to stable production.
You will also be the first line of response for every payment incident and the person responsible for deciding whether a new integration is ready to go live.
This is a technical operations role rather than a coordination role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Provider Onboarding & Integration
Manage the full onboarding cycle for new payment providers, including:
Initial technical calls
Credentials and sandbox access
Configuration and test design
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Production launch
Post-release stabilisation
Define integration acceptance standards and own the go/no-go decision before launch.
Review provider API documentation and translate it into implementation-ready specifications for engineering, covering edge cases, failure paths, and confirmation model behaviour.
2. Payment Incident Management
Own the first-line response for payment incidents, including:
Failed and stuck transactions
Unconfirmed payments
Payment method-level anomalies
Investigate and drive incidents to resolution rather than simply escalating them.
Diagnose provider-side versus platform-side issues using logs, API responses, and transaction data.
Communicate findings clearly to providers, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
3. Technical Testing & Verification
Perform hands-on verification of payment integrations.
Conduct manual checkout testing across mobile and desktop.
Verify callbacks and API behaviour using Postman or equivalent tools.
Execute SQL queries to investigate transaction data.
Validate asynchronous payment statuses, confirmation models, redirect flows, and failure scenarios.
4. Payment Method & Provider Catalogue
Maintain a comprehensive catalogue of payment methods and providers, documenting:
Supported capabilities
Available integration types
Completed testing
Known failure modes
Build the initial capability inventory of all live payment methods and providers.
Convert ambiguous provider documentation and undocumented operational knowledge into actionable specifications.
5. Payment Performance Analysis
Produce a 90-day breakdown of deposit attempts, categorised by outcome:
Completed transactions
Declined by the provider
Abandoned by the user
Abandoned during redirect
Completed but never confirmed back to the platform
Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
4+ years of experience in payments, PSP integrations, or fintech platforms, with hands-on ownership of integrations rather than coordination alone.
Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, asynchronous payment statuses, callback mechanics, confirmation models, redirect flows, and common failure modes.
Ability to review provider API specifications and identify missing information.
Experience using Postman or equivalent tools for API testing.
Experience performing structured checkout testing across mobile and desktop.
Proven ability to investigate live payment incidents using logs and API responses.
Ability to distinguish provider-side issues from platform-side problems.
Experience translating incomplete or ambiguous technical documentation into clear specifications for engineering.
Strong communication skills and composure during incidents.
Basic knowledge of using AI tools in daily work.
Working proficiency in both English and Russian, as both languages are used daily.
What Success Looks Like in the First Year
First Few Months — Operational Ownership
Take ownership of first-line payment incidents, build the payment method and provider catalogue using documentation and direct investigation, and produce the 90-day deposit attempt analysis.
By Mid-Year — Integration Acceptance Standards
Establish the integration acceptance framework and apply it to a live provider onboarding process, from initial engagement through production launch.
Second Half — Established Processes & Decision-MakingAs the team expands, a Systems Analyst will assume responsibility for formal verification, while the integration acceptance gate remains under your ownership.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date provider catalogue, ensure the integration acceptance gate is fully operational, and take ownership of incident-related decisions.
Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process consists of four stages:
HR Interview: Background, motivation, and overall role alignment.
Technical Interview: Payment integration knowledge, technical tools, hands-on experience, and incident diagnosis.
Product & Problem-Solving Interview: Integration decisions, prioritisation, and practical problem-solving.
Final Interview: Discussion with senior stakeholder.
Benefits
Fixed monthly compensation of [depending on experience]
Fully remote work within GMT to GMT+4, with no relocation required
End-to-end ownership of a provider from first call to production, and the go or no-go decision on every integration
Scope that grows with the business: cards, alternative payment methods, a card programme and new entities
Corporate AI tooling as part of the working process
Location: Boston, MA
Workplace: OnSite

Alvys is building modern infrastructure for the logistics industry. Our cloud-based TMS (Transportation Management System) powers freight operations with intuitive workflows, real-time visibility, and deep automation—helping carriers and brokers scale faster and operate smarter. We’re a fast-growing startup backed by top investors and are passionate about solving real-world problems for an essential industry. We’re looking for a highly skilled and hands-on
Accounting Manager.
In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for establishing scalable processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and enabling operational excellence as we grow.
Role overview
Alvys builds the transportation management platform that carriers and brokers use to run their businesses. As we scale, we’re building a finance function that is rigorous, hands-on and increasingly automated. We’re hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of the accounting engine behind that growth and work closely with the Head of Finance as the senior accounting lead on the team.
You’ll own the full accounting cycle — month-end close, general ledger, revenue, AP, payroll, tax and audit readiness — with responsibility for producing a clean, accurate and defensible set of books. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the ledger deeply enough to explain what changed, why it changed and what needs attention.
You’ll run the close end to end, review the work prepared by the team, own the areas that require judgment, and step into the details when needed. You’ll also help develop the team, strengthen our processes and continue building the automation layer behind the finance function.
Key responsibilities
Month-end close and general ledger
Own the close calendar end to end — task assignment, deadlines, review, and the close results package delivered to the Head of Finance.
Review and post the journal entries prepared by the team, and prepare the entries that carry judgment — commission and bonus accruals, payroll true-ups, and period-end reclasses.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations covering cash, AR, deferred revenue, prepaids and accruals.
Run flux analysis (MoM, YoY) across the P&L and balance sheet, and write variance commentary that explains the movement.
Maintain the chart of accounts and product master lists, and keep reporting mappings current.
Revenue reporting and billing oversight
Review and approve the monthly revenue close prepared by the billing analyst — the reconciliation of subscription and non-subscription revenue across Stripe, Salesforce and QuickBooks Online, and the entries that come out of it.
Own revenue recognition policy under ASC 606 and make the judgment calls: usage overages, multi-element contracts, contract modifications, concessions and early terminations.
Own annual recurring revenue reporting (ARR and CARR) — the monthly build, the roll-forward of new, expansion, contraction and churn, and the tie-out of that roll-forward back to booked revenue in the general ledger.
Connect recurring revenue reporting to Salesforce pipeline and contract reporting, reconciling bookings, billings and recognized revenue with the billing analyst.
Oversee invoicing, collections and the dunning cycle. Approve concessions, credit memos and refunds, and review the deferred revenue schedule against the billing system.
Accounts payable, expenses and payroll
Oversee vendor bills, payment runs and employee reimbursements in Ramp, in partnership with People Operations.
Partner with People Operations on domestic and international payroll — review the runs, journalize them, and reconcile the clearing and benefits-payable accounts.
Review commission calculations and book the corresponding accruals and true-ups.
Financial reporting and expense forecasting
Update the monthly expense forecast off closed actuals — run rate by department and GL account, vendor and contract commitments, headcount and compensation roll-forward.
Maintain the amortization and accrual schedules that drive forward-looking operating expense, and carry the changes into the forecast as they’re booked.
Explain spend variance against budget at the account and department level, and keep the supporting detail current for leadership reporting.
Tax, compliance and audit
Coordinate with our external advisors on federal, state and franchise tax filings.
Own sales tax, 1099 and entity registration compliance.
Run audit readiness and execution: PBC lists, supporting schedules, and auditor questions.
Team and process
Manage and develop a small analyst team covering AP and expense operations, and billing and AR.
Serve as backup across the team’s work, and as the Head of Finance’s delegate on accounting matters.
Own the accounting SOP library, the close checklist and the task repository, and keep all three current.
Find manual and inefficient processes and eliminate them as we target an “autonomous close.” Our close, billing and reconciliation processes already run on a growing set of automations, and this role is expected to extend them.
Minimum qualifications
Experience
6+ years
of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of a full close cycle and hands-on balance sheet reconciliation.
Solid full general ledger background — you’ve prepared and reviewed entries across payroll, accruals and revenue, can defend a balance, and understand how accounting activity flows through the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Revenue recognition experience under
ASC 606
in a subscription business.
Experience managing, reviewing and developing other accountants.
Systems
QuickBooks Online — required.
Daily hands-on experience: chart of accounts, journal entries, bank reconciliation, reporting.
Stripe — required.
Subscriptions, invoices, credit memos, disputes, payouts, and reconciling subscription billing activity into the general ledger.
Advanced Google Sheets. Pivots, lookups, nested logic, data validation.
Salesforce
is a significant plus.
AI fluency and automation — required
Demonstrated, current use of AI in your accounting work. Be ready to tell us what you’ve automated, what it replaced, and how much time it gave back.
Comfort writing prompts, iterating on output, and knowing when not to trust it. Everything AI produces is reviewed before it touches the ledger.
Our finance function runs on a library of custom AI workflows built in-house. You’ll use them daily and be expected to build on them.
Preferred
CPA or active CPA candidate — someone committed to a career in accounting and finance.
SaaS or technology industry experience.
Prior exposure to a modern expense, HRIS or close-management platform.
Personal attributes
Hands-on by instinct. You review the work, and you prepare it yourself when the cycle calls for it — working a reconciliation, chasing a variance or covering a teammate’s queue during close week.
Comfortable operating on a small team where the person who owns the number also understands and builds the schedule behind it.
Growth mindset. This role is deliberately scoped to expand, and we’re looking for someone who wants that.
Clear written communication. A large share of this job is explaining a variance or accounting issue to someone who does not work in finance.
Why Alvys
Ownership.
You’ll run the close and monthly financial reporting, with direct review from and partnership with the Head of Finance.
Modern stack.
A cloud-native finance stack — QuickBooks Online, Stripe and Salesforce at the core — with an AI tooling layer we build ourselves.
Proximity to decisions.
You’ll work directly with leadership and have real influence on how the accounting function is built as the company scales.
Growth.
This role is designed to expand in scope, with a path toward Controller as the business and finance organization mature.
Collaborative culture.
Mission-driven people building the future of logistics technology, grounded in trust and transparency.
Alvys — Join our Team
If this sounds like your next challenge, we’d like to hear from you.
Equal Employment Opportunity

The WHOOP legal team plays a critical role in supporting that mission by enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly around the world. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Select, retain, and manage outside counsel, establishing clear expectations regarding strategy, staffing, budgets, work product, responsiveness, and outcomes, and independently pressure-testing outside counsel’s strategic recommendations throughout the entire litigation life-cycle.
- Exercise rigorous oversight of litigation spending, including reviewing budgets and forecasts, scrutinizing staffing and billing practices, identifying opportunities for alternative fee arrangements, and ensuring that legal spending is proportionate to the Company's exposure and strategic objectives.
- Develop settlement strategies and lead significant settlement negotiations, balancing legal exposure, litigation costs, business considerations, precedent risk, reputational considerations, and operational impacts.
- Partner closely with Finance and Accounting regarding litigation reserves, contingent liabilities, insurance recoveries, settlement accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and other financial implications of litigation.
- Partner closely with the People Team regarding employment disputes.
- Manage litigation-related insurance matters, including providing timely notice of claims, coordinating with insurers and brokers, pursuing available coverage, and managing coverage disputes where necessary.

- Conduct and oversee sensitive internal investigations where appropriate and coordinate with employment, compliance, privacy, security, or other specialists depending on the subject matter.
- Establish and continuously improve litigation playbooks, processes, and technology, enabling the Legal team to manage a growing litigation portfolio efficiently and consistently as the Company scales.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We are looking for a Senior Treasury Manager to build and run Finom's treasury function.
Finom safeguards a significant book of customer funds across its regulated entities. Net interest income on that book is a meaningful revenue line, and it will grow. Today the function is up and running: the money is placed, the investment policy is in place, and a large part of the book sits with an external asset manager. What we are building now is the machinery around it — an evidenced limit framework, look-through into what our managers actually hold, automated investment accounting, and a reconciled NII number we can defend to an auditor and a regulator.
That is the job. You will take part in building it, and you will run it while it is being built.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of regulation, liquidity, and commercial impact — not a back-office position. It suits someone who has done this before in a regulated environment and wants to do it again without four layers of committee above them.
What you'll own
Liquidity and funding
Daily liquidity positioning and float management across entities and accounts
Intraday funding of payment channels; nostro and correspondent account management
Collateral and minimum-balance obligations across card schemes, T2, and credit providers
Contingency funding — the playbook for the day we need €20m by tomorrow morning
A daily treasury balance sheet — net liquidity and net capital available — that reconciles
Safeguarding and portfolio
Portfolio management of safeguarded client funds: term deposits, MMFs, short-dated debt, held directly and via external managers
Safeguarding adequacy: shortfall detection, top-up execution, same-currency discipline
Instrument eligibility screening under CRR risk-weight, maturity and WAL constraints, and UCITS/MMF rules
Independent, evidenced validation that externally managed allocations sit inside mandate — position-level look-through, daily monitoring of concentration, maturity, WAL and credit quality, breach escalation
NII forecasting, attribution, and reconciled performance reporting; treasury inputs into the financial model and company forecast
Governance and controls
Ownership of the investment policy, limit framework, and eligible-instrument register
Treasury governance: decision pack, agenda, decision log, and delegated-authority register
Pre-deal checks and post-trade evidencing, designed so that the first line executes and the second line challenges
Covenant tracking across credit facilities
Regulator, external audit, and second-line engagement on treasury and safeguarding matters
Systems and data
Selection and implementation of investment accounting and treasury tooling — a Clearwater/Advent-class implementation is already in flight and will be yours
Custodian, asset-manager and bank data feeds; API connectivity where it exists and pragmatic alternatives where it doesn't
Replacing manual spreadsheet processes with something that survives your holiday
Commercial
Bank, custodian, broker and asset-manager relationships: onboarding, commercial terms, mandate setting, service review
Challenging our managers on allocation, transparency and fees — and changing them if the answers are weak
What good looks like in the first 12 months
Investment policy and limit framework live, with treasury governance running on a documented decision log
Daily, evidenced mandate compliance across the full book — we can answer "are we inside the boundaries?" in minutes, not weeks
Investment accounting platform implemented; monthly close on the portfolio no longer manual
An NII number that is reconciled, attributed, and forecastable
A contingency liquidity playbook that has been tested rather than written
Who you are
5+ years in treasury, ALM, fixed income, or portfolio management at a regulated financial institution, EMI/PI, or asset manager
Direct experience with client money or safeguarding under PSD2 / EMD — core to this role, not adjacent to it
Experience building or materially rebuilding a treasury function, not only operating inside an established one
Strong command of bond math, yield and duration, MMF mechanics, and credit and concentration risk at instrument level
Track record of automating manual treasury processes and implementing treasury or investment accounting systems
Comfortable working with position-level data directly — you can interrogate a portfolio file rather than wait for a report
Experience with regulators, external audit, and external asset managers (mandate setting, IMA terms, performance challenge)
Sound judgement under time pressure in a lean environment with real accountability and limited cover
Strong Excel skills
Fluent English
Nice to have
Familiarity with IFRS 9 or Dutch GAAP (RJ 290) financial instrument accounting
SQL or Python
Experience in a firm transitioning toward a banking licence
Experience using AI tools (e.g. LLMs, copilots) to accelerate analytical and reporting workflows

Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Engineer to completely own the UI/UX quality of one of our core D2C subscription products. You are the final person responsible for every UI/UX decision that ships: you self-QA all new UI/UX work against a documented standard before it reaches the Managing Director, and you hold the quality bar for the whole product. Working AI-first, you will also take major features from brief to production: exploring design directions, arguing for the chosen one, building it in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and shipping polished, mobile-first interfaces.
The work splits into three parts: full responsibility for all UI/UX on the project, hands-on development of design in code, and UI/UX supervision of team members. When another developer does the work, the quality is still yours: you guide them with concrete direction, review the result, and drive the task to the same standard as your own. Seniority here is measured by the quality and depth of your work. The bar is high and so is the upside - performance here is directly and significantly rewarded, and strong operators take on bigger scope fast.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- UI/UX Quality Ownership: Own the UI/UX quality of the entire product. Every interface decision that ships is your responsibility, and its standard is yours to define and hold.
- UI/UX Supervision: Supervise team members' UI/UX work: set direction, review output, advise on solutions, and drive any task to done at your own quality standard.
- Feature Design & Delivery: Own major visual features end to end: brief, design exploration in multiple directions, written rationale, implementation, and final polish.
- Design System & Consistency: Own the design system and its documentation. Keep the product visually and behaviourally consistent across every screen, device, and locale. Document the reasoning behind key decisions: the user need, the pattern or research behind it, and the alternatives considered.
- AI-Native Design Workflow: Work AI-first: run a disciplined AI workflow from generation to production quality, own the team's shared prompting assets, judge critically when output is ready to ship, and keep the team's tooling ahead of the market.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Quality Ownership: Experience as the final quality owner for a product's UI/UX, with sign-off responsibility for what ships.
- AI-Native Workflow: Hands-on production experience with AI design and code tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or close equivalents) as the core of your daily workflow, including advanced prompting, and current knowledge of the AI-era UI/UX landscape.
- Portfolio: Shipped, live consumer web products with visible craft in the details. Depth of work matters more to us than years of experience.
- Front-End Fundamentals: React/Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript - enough to implement and refine your own designs in production code.
- Design Systems: Experience building or maintaining a design system.
- Supervision: Experience guiding other developers' UI/UX work and driving it to shipped quality.
LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES
- Holds a high bar for visual detail - in their own work and the team's - and catches issues before anyone else does
- Keeps growing - constantly learns and adopts new tools and techniques
- Ambitious - driven to build large-scale products used and seen by millions
- Explains design decisions clearly and in writing, grounded in user needs, patterns, or data
- Communicates clearly and proactively in a fully remote, async environment
Important: This is first and foremost a Product Design / UI/UX role, not a Frontend /Full-stack Engineering role. We are looking for someone with strong product design and UX instincts who can also implement their designs in code. Design thinking, UX quality, and product craft come first; frontend skills are essential for bringing that work to production, but they are not the primary focus of the role.

Drive strategic decision-making by selecting the most effective tool or method for the task, maintaining a focus on high-quality execution and measurable results. You will act as a well-trusted strategic partner to stakeholders, using analytics, effective communication and domain expertise to influence roadmaps.
Experimentation and measurement:
Design and lead measurement strategies that drive product direction, ranging from simple A/B tests to complex experimental designs. You will be equally capable of applying alternative causal inference techniques when standard trials aren't feasible, ensuring the business moves based on data driven insights.

: Actively contribute to the broader Analytics community, driving L+D initiatives and cross-functional collaboration. You will ensure we are delivering the "right" things org-wide by aligning technical work with overarching business strategy and shared best practices.

A pragmatic and adaptable approach, with a strong focus on delivering impact efficiently at pace.
Excellent people skills — you'll be meeting with a range of both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data science problems
Experience leading both simple and more complex experiment designs, with the ability to proactively unpick insights to steer strategic decision making
