About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Tavily, part of Nebius, is the web access layer for AI agents. Over two million developers use us, and our customers include Fortune 500 companies running agents in production.
You will own our enterprise product: the roadmap for what large customers need, and the control plane that makes it possible. These are the capabilities that decide whether a large customer can adopt us, trust us, and expand with us.
Our product is an API, and our enterprise buyer is an engineering organization. The people you build for are platform teams, architects, and the developers inside those companies who are putting agents into production. You need to be comfortable making product decisions about API surfaces, developer workflows, and technical tradeoffs, not only about business requirements.
To build this well, you have to be in the room. You will work alongside customer success, sales, and our forward-deployed engineers, who are in these accounts every week and already know where we fall short, and you will spend real time with customers alongside them. Delivery and implementation stay with forward-deployed engineering and go-to-market. Your job is to turn what you learn into product.
The hard part is judgment. Knowing which request is one account's edge case, and which one is the thing every enterprise customer will ask for six months from now. Getting that right is the difference between a platform and a pile of custom work.
In your first year, we expect you to own a clear enterprise roadmap, ship the controls that block deals today, and become the person the go-to-market team comes to before a deal gets stuck.
This is a hands-on senior IC role with real ownership, reporting to the Director of Product. The product team is small, so you will work directly with the engineers building your roadmap and with the go-to-market teams selling it.
Your responsibilities will include
Own the enterprise roadmap: what we build for large customers, in what order, and why.
Own the platform behind it: organizations and identity, keys and quotas, spend controls, usage observability and audit, policy enforcement, and data residency.
Make product decisions on our API surface for enterprise use, so that the developers inside those accounts can build on us without friction.
Work with customer success, sales, and forward-deployed engineering to understand what enterprise customers need, and spend time in accounts alongside them to see it first hand.
Tell the difference between a single-account request and a pattern worth building for, and be able to defend the call either way.
Hand off what belongs to another product area, with the evidence that makes it actionable.
Give sales and marketing the positioning, materials, and product understanding they need to sell a technical product well.
Represent enterprise customers in roadmap decisions with evidence rather than anecdote.
We expect you to have
6+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful part of it spent on enterprise products in B2B, developer platform, or API businesses.
Experience building developer-facing or API products, with real understanding of what makes an API good to build against.
Experience building platform capabilities that enterprises depend on, such as identity, permissions, quotas, usage controls, audit, or compliance.
A track record of working with large enterprise accounts, including recognized logos, and turning what you learned into shipped product.
Credibility with technical buyers: platform teams, architects, security, and procurement.
Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and how search and retrieval fit into agentic workflows. Hands-on technical background is a strong plus.
The ability to turn many messy customer conversations into one clear, prioritized product argument.
Proven ability to drive alignment without formal authority, including with product owners who do not report to you.
It will be a bonus if you have
Background as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or solutions architect before moving into product.
Experience in search, information retrieval, or NLP.
Experience in API-first businesses running both self-serve and enterprise motions.
Experience building for regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare.

About inKind
inKind is transforming the way restaurants access growth capital and build relationships with their guests. Sitting at the intersection of hospitality, fintech, consumer technology, and loyalty, our platform helps restaurant operators grow while giving consumers a better way to discover, experience, and engage with restaurants.
We are entering our next stage of growth, and our ambition is significant: to establish inKind as the market-leading brand in dining and become one of the most recognized and relevant consumer brands in hospitality.
We're looking for a VP of Marketing who has experienced hyper-scale before - someone who understands what it takes to take a rapidly growing company and turn it into a category-defining, nationally recognized brand.
Role Summary
The VP of Marketing will own the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of inKind's marketing function across growth, brand, lifecycle, acquisition, retention, content, partnerships, and product marketing.
This is a critical leadership role for the next stage of inKind's growth. We want someone who has seen and helped lead hyper-scale firsthand and understands how the marketing strategy, organization, channels, brand, technology, and operating model need to evolve as a company moves from high growth to true market leadership.
Your mandate is bigger than generating leads or running campaigns. You will help turn inKind into a market-leading consumer brand, creating the awareness, affinity, customer growth, and engagement required to make inKind synonymous with discovering and experiencing great restaurants.
This is not a role for someone who wants to operate purely at the strategy level. You will set the vision while remaining deeply involved in execution - understanding how channels perform, how consumers behave, where the funnel can improve, what the brand stands for, and where we should place our next bet.
You will combine brand building with commercial performance, ensuring every marketing investment contributes to sustainable growth and long-term brand equity.
What You'll Own
Hyper-Scale Growth
Build the marketing strategy required to drive inKind through its next paradigm of rapid growth.
Bring firsthand experience of what changes when a business moves from growth into hyper-growth - from channels and organizational structure to processes, technology, measurement, and brand investment.
Identify the growth engines capable of taking inKind from today's scale to the next order of magnitude.
Build repeatable, scalable acquisition and engagement models rather than relying on isolated campaigns.
Anticipate the capabilities, talent, systems, and infrastructure Marketing will need before growth creates the requirement.
Balance aggressive growth with disciplined economics and sustainable customer value.
Growth & Customer Acquisition
Own the overall strategy for consumer growth, acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
Build and continuously optimize a diversified acquisition strategy across paid, organic, referral, partnership, local, and emerging channels.
Establish clear performance expectations across the marketing funnel and identify opportunities to improve conversion at every stage.
Own key growth metrics including CAC, conversion, activation, retention, repeat behavior, frequency, and LTV.
Develop scalable growth loops that leverage inKind's restaurant network, consumers, partners, and product.
Test aggressively, learn quickly, and scale what works.
Build a Market-Leading Brand
Own the ambition of transforming inKind from a rapidly growing company into a nationally recognized, market-leading consumer brand.
Define and evolve the inKind brand strategy, positioning, voice, and creative direction.
Establish a clear point of view on what inKind should stand for in the minds of consumers.
Build awareness, consideration, preference, and affinity at scale.
Develop breakthrough campaigns and brand moments capable of expanding inKind beyond its existing audience.
Build a brand that consumers actively recognize, trust, talk about, and want to engage with.
Ensure brand investment and growth marketing work together rather than operating as separate disciplines.
Identify opportunities for inKind to define and lead its category.
Establish consistent and distinctive brand experiences across product, digital, social, restaurant, partnership, experiential, and corporate touchpoints.
Lifecycle, CRM & Retention
Own lifecycle marketing across the complete customer journey.
Develop sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies based on customer behavior and data.
Improve onboarding, activation, engagement, frequency, reactivation, and retention.
Drive continuous experimentation across messaging, offers, timing, channels, and customer segments.
Partner with Product and Data to identify behavioral signals and turn them into actionable marketing programs.
Ensure lifecycle marketing becomes a meaningful driver of customer LTV and sustainable growth.
Optimization & Analytics
Build a marketing organization where data drives decisions.
Establish clear dashboards and KPIs across channels, campaigns, customer segments, brand health, and the overall marketing funnel.
Regularly analyze performance and identify where resources should be increased, reduced, or redirected.
Develop a rigorous testing framework across creative, audience, channel, offer, landing page, and customer experience.
Understand not simply what happened, but why it happened and what we should do next.
Translate marketing performance and consumer behavior into clear recommendations for Executive Leadership.
Create the measurement frameworks necessary to understand both short-term performance marketing and long-term brand impact.
Product & Partner Marketing
Partner closely with Product to ensure customer insights influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Develop positioning and go-to-market plans for new products, capabilities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
Create programs that simultaneously drive value for
consumers, restaurant partners, and inKind
.
Ensure major launches have clear audiences, messaging, distribution strategies, and measurable success criteria.
Identify opportunities where product capabilities themselves can become powerful acquisition, engagement, and brand-building mechanisms.
Marketing Leadership & Execution
Set the overall marketing strategy while remaining close to the work.
Build, lead, coach, and scale a high-performing marketing organization capable of operating in a hyper-growth environment.
Determine what the marketing organization needs to look like at 2x, 5x, and 10x today's scale.
Establish clear ownership, priorities, goals, and accountability across the team.
Evaluate the existing marketing organization, capabilities, agencies, technology, processes, and investment strategy and determine what needs to evolve.
Manage marketing investment with a strong focus on incremental impact, scalability, and ROI.
Move comfortably between executive-level strategy and detailed campaign, creative, channel, or performance discussions.
Create a culture of experimentation, urgency, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
You've seen hyper-scale:
You have operated inside a company during a period of exceptional growth and understand what needs to change as the organization scales.
You've built brands, not just campaigns:
You understand how a growing company becomes a recognizable, differentiated, market-leading brand.
Strategic and hands-on:
You can build a multi-year marketing strategy and dive into campaign performance the same day.
Commercially minded:
You think about marketing through the lens of revenue, growth, customer behavior, market share, and enterprise value.
Brand + Growth:
You believe exceptional brand building and measurable performance should reinforce each other.
Data-driven:
You're comfortable interrogating dashboards, funnels, cohorts, CAC, LTV, retention, conversion, and channel performance.
Customer obsessed:
You have a deep curiosity about why consumers behave the way they do and what creates genuine brand affinity.
Highly experimental:
You naturally think in hypotheses, tests, results, and iteration.
Builder mentality:
You're energized by building the organization and capabilities required for the next stage rather than simply managing what already exists.
High agency:
When you identify an opportunity or problem, you take ownership and move quickly.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
Firsthand experience operating through hyper-growth or hyper-scale, ideally within a business that achieved significant national consumer adoption.
Demonstrated experience helping transform a growing company into a market-leading or category-defining brand.
Experience within a high-growth consumer, marketplace, fintech, hospitality, loyalty, e-commerce, or technology business.
Demonstrated success scaling consumer acquisition and retention.
Strong experience across growth marketing, brand, lifecycle/CRM, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to build and scale high-performing marketing organizations.
Strong analytical capabilities and experience using customer and performance data to drive decisions.
Experience managing significant marketing investments and evaluating channel-level ROI.
Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will have:
Established a clear strategy for taking inKind from high growth toward true market leadership.
Significantly increased awareness and consideration of the inKind brand.
Created a clear and differentiated position for inKind within the market.
Built scalable acquisition engines capable of supporting the company's next stage of growth.
Improved customer acquisition efficiency and funnel conversion.
Increased customer activation, engagement, frequency, retention, and LTV.
Strengthened lifecycle, personalization, and customer segmentation capabilities.
Established clear marketing and brand dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and performance accountability.
Built the team, systems, processes, and capabilities required to support hyper-scale.
Created stronger integration between Marketing, Product, Data, and commercial teams.
Put inKind firmly on the path to becoming the market-leading consumer brand in its category.
Why inKind
This is an opportunity to join inKind at an inflection point.
The foundations have been built. The business is scaling rapidly. The opportunity now is to take that momentum and build a brand with national awareness, significant consumer relevance, and category leadership.
We're looking for someone who has experienced that journey before and wants to help do it again—this time with the opportunity to shape the strategy, organization, brand, and growth engine behind it.
You'll have the opportunity to build a marketing organization and brand capable of defining the next stage of inKind's growth - and ultimately help make inKind synonymous with how people discover and experience restaurants.
Who we are:
inKind connects passionate diners with exceptional restaurants across the country. inKind partners with thousands of restaurants and has millions of users who want to discover great places, dine confidently, and earn meaningful rewards.
Through the inKind app, guests earn 20% back every time they dine, turning everyday meals into something more rewarding. About Xenon7
Where elite tech talent meets world-class opportunities! At Xenon7, we work with leading enterprise clients and innovative startups on high-impact projects across Data, AI, Cloud, and Software Engineering. Our expertise in AI solution architecture and specialized technical talent allows us to partner with enterprise leaders on transformative initiatives, driving innovation and business growth.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber
Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE)
to sit at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms and executive Finance business functions for our Fortune 100 enterprise client. This role bridges advanced AI platform engineering with direct business impact—translating ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, deploying them into regulated client environments, and iterating in tight loops to drive measurable ROI.
Rather than building static models or waiting for formal spec sheets, you will operate as a product-minded technical lead. You will prototype user-facing tools in days, deploy agentic and RAG workflows on top of enterprise data stacks (Databricks Genie), and ensure high adoption across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, and CFO leadership.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End AI Application Prototyping & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from initial discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement.
Rapidly prototype vertical applications using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback.
Handle "last mile" execution: edge cases, data quirks, business rule exceptions, and user training to turn prototypes into sticky enterprise products.
Agentic Systems & LLM Engineering
Build production-grade vertical AI tools leveraging Databricks Genie (Genie Spaces, semantic models).
Construct robust RAG pipelines incorporating advanced chunking, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search), retrieval evaluation, grounding, and citation.
Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and apply rigorous prompt engineering with hallucination and accuracy evaluation discipline.
Enterprise Data & Regulated Integration
Deploy applications inside heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering strictly to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints (SOX, GxP).
Connect solutions to governed datasets, semantic models, and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs.
Instrument all deployed apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one.
Strategic Stakeholder Advisory & Pattern Extraction
Work directly with senior Finance leadership (CFO office, FP&A, Controllership) to translate ambiguous operational friction into crisp technical roadmaps.
Extract reusable code components, prompt templates, evaluation harnesses, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment.
Product-Shaped Builder:
Strong bias for action; comfortable shipping rough prototypes in Week 1 over polished spec documents in Week 4.
Ambiguity Tolerance:
Proven ability to navigate vague business problems without predefined specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:
Outstanding ability to interface directly with senior business leaders without requiring intermediary Business Analysts.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, Databricks Apps, React).
AI Platforms:
Direct hands-on experience with
Databricks Genie
.
LLM Engineering:
Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector search engines, and prompt evaluation harnesses.
Cloud & DevOps:
Deep working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning via LangSmith, Datadog, etc.).
Domain Competency (Finance Focus)
Solid foundational understanding of core Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close cycles) and common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Prior FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies (Palantir, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic).
Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance.
Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Veeva, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials).
Certifications: Databricks Certified, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
What This Role Is NOT
Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher:
You will not be training or fine-tuning foundation models from scratch; you are applying existing models to business problems.
Not a non-coding Architect:
This is a 100% hands-on builder role.
Not a pure Backend or MLOps Engineer:
You must be comfortable owning the user-facing interface and direct business interaction.

Recognized on the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100 list https://www.forbes.com/companies/clickhouse/?list=cloud100, ClickHouse is one of the most innovative and fast-growing private cloud companies. With more than 4,000 customers and $250M ARR https://clickhouse.com/blog/clickhouse-tops-250m-arr-and-4000-customers, ClickHouse leads the market in real-time analytics, data warehousing, observability, and AI workloads.
The company's sustained, accelerating momentum was recently validated by a $400M Series D financing round https://clickhouse.com/blog/clickhouse-raises-400-million-series-d-acquires-langfuse-launches-postgres. Over the past three months, customers including Capital One, Lovable, Decagon, Polymarket, and Airwallex have adopted the platform or expanded existing deployments. These customers join an established base of AI innovators and global brands such as Meta, Cursor, Sony, and Tesla.
We're on a mission to transform how companies use data. Come be a part of our journey!
We're hiring a Product Manager to own partner integrations at ClickHouse. This role owns how ClickHouse shows up inside the platforms our customers already use: embedded, native experiences across the hyperscalers and developer platforms, and deeper technical integrations with strategic partners like dbt, Fivetran, Hex, and Sigma. There is a growing surface of partner work already in motion, and this role shapes where we invest in co-innovation opportunities.
This is one of the most cross-functional roles at ClickHouse. You'll work across multiple engineering teams, our partnerships and solutions teams, and the partners themselves to deliver meaningful co-innovation and integrations with complementary technologies. You'll own the technical side of our House Mates partner program and be the person who navigates the multi-org reality of getting an integration certified, listed, and live. This is a hands-on role: you'll write the specs, run the partner calls, drive certification processes, and coordinate across teams to get things over the line.
YOU WILL
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for ClickHouse's Cloud integrations with strategic partners
- Seek out complementary innovation opportunities with partners. Define what a "better together" integration looks like with each strategic partner, and drive it from joint roadmap through launch.
- Navigate the trade-offs of embedded integrations: billing and metering, identity and auth, security and data residency, and coordination across ClickHouse and partner teams.
- Project-manage complex, multi-org launches: marketplace listings, certification processes, partner co-marketing, and GA timelines across multiple organizations.
- Own the technical standards and certification criteria for integrations submitted through the House Mates partner program.
- Measure and communicate co-innovation business impact, adoption and product strategy to executive leadership.
- Represent ClickHouse externally at partner events and in joint content.
YOU BRING
- Experience shipping integrations into third-party platforms before: hyperscaler marketplaces, embedded or native integrations, ISV partnerships, or OEM/white-label work.
- An understanding of the trade-offs that make or break a partner integration, billing, auth, security, cross-team dependencies, and have made those decisions in the past.
- A strong project management lens and are comfortable owning a launch that depends on five teams across two companies.
- Patience and resilience with partners who are unresponsive or have their own competing priorities, and you find creative ways to keep things moving anyway.
- Technical ability to understand an integration end to end, from provisioning and auth to billing and data flow, and to hold a credible conversation with engineers about APIs, architecture, and technical trade-offs.
- Energy and excitement for external-facing work: partner calls, customer conversations, and representing the product publicly.
- Hands-on and high ownership ability. You write the specs, run the partner calls, and stay close to the details.
- Comfort in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience building partner integrations with hyperscalers and modern technology companies.
- Experience running or supporting a technology partner program.
- Background at a database or data infrastructure company; familiarity with ClickHouse or peers like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Experience working in remote, multi-timezone environments.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are looking for software engineers to help build safety and oversight mechanisms for our AI systems. As a software engineer on the Safeguards team, you will work to monitor models, prevent misuse, and ensure user well-being. This role will focus on building distributed and scalable systems to detect unwanted model behaviors and prevent disallowed use of models. You will apply your technical skills to uphold our principles of safety, transparency, and oversight while enforcing our terms of service and acceptable use policies.
Responsibilities:
Independently scope and lead complex, multi-month infrastructure projects, from an ambiguous starting point through to a production system
Develop monitoring systems to detect unwanted behaviors from our API partners and potentially take automated enforcement actions; surface these in internal dashboards to analysts for manual review
Stand up and run deployments of those monitoring systems across multiple clouds, including inside cloud-provider partner environments where data residency laws apply. Keep the deployments consistent through shared deployment pipelines, smoke tests, observability, and alerting
Design and harden the sandboxed runtime that AI agents execute in: isolation, network egress controls, least-privilege data access, audit logging, and insider-risk controls
Manage cost and capacity for large volumes of long-running agent work, and set and meet service-level objectives for the platform
Partner with the engineers and researchers who write and evaluate the monitoring agents, and with security, privacy, and legal teams, so new detection work can ship quickly on a platform everyone trusts
You may be a good fit if you:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experience
Proficiency in Python, Distributed Systems, and Infrastructure as Code
Have worked across multiple cloud providers, or built infrastructure designed to be provider-agnostic
Have built and operated large-scale, distributed infrastructure, such as data platforms, control planes, or job schedulers
Have experience with sandboxing and isolation technologies (containers, microVMs, network policy) or with a systems language such as Rust
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong candidates may also:
8+ years of experience in a software engineering position, not including internships
Have built systems that handle sensitive or regulated data, with requirements around access control, auditability, retention, and data residency
Have experience running LLM-based agents in production
Have experience with integrity, spam, fraud, or abuse detection and mitigation
Deadline to apply:
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on migrations to join our growing team in India. You will help deliver complex, production-grade data migrations, integrations, and automations for customers across APAC.
This is initially an internally focused, hands-on engineering role. You will partner closely with regional Forward Deployed Engineers, who own customer discovery, solution architecture, stakeholder communication, risk management, and final customer validation. You will own the behind-the-scenes technical execution layer from feasibility assessment and implementation through testing, production rollout, QA, reconciliation, reporting, and operational handoff.
You will work across multiple customer environments and source systems, often with incomplete requirements, imperfect data, and real-world constraints. Success requires strong engineering fundamentals, sound judgment, careful validation, and the ability to turn one-off delivery work into reusable tools and repeatable playbooks.
As a founding engineer in India, you will help build a new regional engineering capability from the ground up. You will create migration infrastructure, standards, and reusable tooling used by FDEs across APAC, while establishing practices that can scale globally. The role offers an opportunity to become a technical authority for production migration delivery, shaping how Notion approaches reliability, validation, and operational quality across complex customer environments. As the team grows, the role may also expand toward customer-facing FDE work, technical leadership, or a deeper engineering path, depending on business needs and demonstrated capability.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own the technical execution layer after customer requirements, scope, and solution architecture have been established with the regional FDE. Contribute to feasibility assessment, estimation, implementation planning, and risk identification while the regional FDE remains accountable for customer discovery, scope, architecture, stakeholder communication, and final acceptance.
- Apply a repeatable migration lifecycle covering source inventory and sampling, scope and pruning decisions, compatibility and degradation assessment, transformation design, pilot or dry run, user acceptance testing, production cutover, reconciliation, remediation, hypercare, and documented handoff.
- Translate approved customer and regional FDE requirements into clear technical designs, implementation plans, test strategies, runbooks, and delivery estimates.
- Build production-quality migration utilities, backend services, data pipelines, integrations, and automations using Python, SQL, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Investigate source-system behavior, data quality issues, permissions, rate limits, authentication constraints, and edge cases, then recommend practical solutions.
- Design and validate permissions, ownership, and inheritance mappings against the approved migration plan. Make unsupported or ambiguous access requirements explicit, obtain the required decision or approval, and preserve evidence of validation.
- Design migrations for reliability, scale, security, observability, idempotency, failure recovery, and safe reruns.
- Execute migrations only through approved environments, devices, accounts, and tooling. Follow least-privilege access, customer-specific security and data-residency requirements, and approved handling procedures. Do not store customer data in unmanaged local or external systems, and escalate privacy, security, or sovereignty concerns before execution.
- Build validation and reconciliation frameworks that provide clear evidence of migration completeness, accuracy, and exceptions.
- Debug failures across application code, infrastructure, customer data, third-party systems, and the Notion platform, then drive issues through resolution.
- Manage multiple implementation workstreams, dependencies, and priorities while communicating scope, progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
- Surface scope changes, unsupported requirements, timeline risks, and material effort increases early. Document assumptions and trade-offs, and escalate with options and a recommended path rather than silently absorbing additional work.
- Maintain an auditable record of scope, decisions, risks, approvals, validation evidence, and customer acceptance criteria in the agreed shared workspace or channel.
- Convert repeated delivery patterns into reusable components, automation, documentation, and playbooks that improve speed, quality, and cost over time.
- Bring field learnings back to Notion's Product and Engineering teams as actionable platform feedback and technical requirements.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, data engineering, integration engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Working experience with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data transformation.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, webhooks, and system integrations.
- Experience owning a production migration, integration, or technical implementation through mapping, transformation, testing, rollout, validation, and handoff.
- Experience taking a technical problem from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and production operation.
- Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, release practices, and production deployment.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills across code, data, infrastructure, and external systems.
- Evidence of working on production systems, not only prototypes or proof-of-concept projects.
- Clear written and verbal English communication, with the ability to explain technical decisions, constraints, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High agency and ownership. You are comfortable making progress with incomplete information, challenging assumptions, and escalating with options and a recommendation.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, job orchestration, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with message queues, event-driven systems, distributed-system patterns, retries, concurrency, and rate limits.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, or other observability tools.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS applications, professional services, or large-scale customer implementations.
- Experience migrating large volumes of content or structured data between enterprise platforms.
- Experience with AI or LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation frameworks, or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with MCP, tool calling, Notion Workers, Custom Agents, or similar extensibility platforms.
- Experience working with distributed global or APAC teams.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Learn Notion's migration and implementation ecosystem, engineering standards, and APAC delivery model.
- Establish a productive working rhythm with regional FDE partners.
- Contribute to at least one migration or integration workstream through production delivery.
- Leave behind clear technical documentation, validation evidence, and an operational runbook.
Within your first six months, you will:
- Independently own production migration or integration workstreams from technical design through rollout and handoff.
- Deliver measurable improvements in migration turnaround time, validation quality, delivery cost, or regional FDE execution hours through reusable engineering.
- Help establish repeatable quality controls, code review practices, runbooks, and observability patterns for the India team.
- Demonstrate effective prioritization and communication across multiple concurrent APAC engagements.
- Turn at least one repeated delivery pattern into a reusable tool, component, or playbook that is adopted by a subsequent engagement.
