From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a
Staff Software Engineer
to join the Platform Ops team (Platform Engineering) and lead initiatives that enable developer productivity by building and improving developer tooling and environments, and by improving other productivity tools around observability. Our team builds the shared systems and workflows engineers rely on every day—internal developer environments and self-serve tooling that makes the recommended way to ship changes the easiest way.
This is a platform tooling role with a focus is on reusable capabilities and self-service workflows adopted across teams. You’ll also help develop AI-based workflows for productivity and efficiency, including automation that improves infrastructure operations (for example, faster triage, automated runbook steps, and better self-service for common issues). You’ll prioritize the highest-impact problems by looking at where time is being lost today (slow builds, flaky tests, manual release steps, repetitive operational work) and turning that into concrete projects. You’ll set clear success metrics up front and use them to guide design decisions and rollouts. Expect to partner closely with engineering teams to drive adoption, document changes, and iterate based on feedback. You’ll drive cross-team work across internal tooling, developer environments, observability, and reliability, focusing on measurable improvements (for example: shorter lead time, fewer incidents, and faster recovery). You’ll add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
As a staff engineer on the team, you’ll lead medium-to-large initiatives end-to-end: define the problem with stakeholders, write a design and rollout plan, build and operate the solution in Python/Go, and measure results. You’ll work across Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams to make improvements that are adopted broadly and remain reliable over time.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end projects that improve developer tooling, environments, and operational workflows (speed, reliability, and safety)
Design and operate internal tooling/services in
Python
and/or
Go
Build tooling for our internal developer platform (self-service workflows, shared patterns, developer-facing interfaces)
Add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work, including efficiency gains in infrastructure operations
Improve developer feedback loops through better observability (metrics/logs/traces), making failures easier to diagnose
Design/build and document “paved paths” and self-service capabilities so teams can ship without extensive platform expertise
Improve reliability through automation and observability (metrics/logs/traces), and drive incident follow-ups to reduce recurrence
Set technical direction (design docs, tradeoffs, sequencing) and drive delivery across stakeholders
Mentor engineers through design and code reviews
Skills We’re Looking For
:
Strong experience building and operating production services in
Python
and/or
Go
Experience with at least one cloud provider (
AWS
,
Azure
, or
GCP
) and core primitives (IAM, networking, compute)
Experience building developer productivity tooling (CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, workflow automation)
Track record leading ambiguous, cross-team technical projects to completion
Strong communication and engineering judgment
You'll have an edge if you have
:
Kubernetes/platform abstractions experience
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu), including reusable modules, safe state practices, and modernization of shared platform foundations
Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs) / developer portals / self-service tooling

- Experience planning and executing webinars from start to finish.
- Previous experience working with global teams.
- Proficient in fluent-level Japanese and business-level English, both written and verbal.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- A builder mindset
NICE TO HAVES:
- Be a Notion power user and are already an advocate for the tool.
- Track record of interacting with startup founders, VC firms, and incubators
A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.
Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for Supabase's internal AI systems.
Supabase is building an AI-native internal operating system: a common way of working across the company where AI carries a meaningful share of the operational load rather than sitting alongside it as an assistant. We are standing up a new central team to build those systems, enable the teams, and embed AI operations throughout the organization. You are the engineer on that team.
The execution layer is yours. You will build the platform that actually runs agents: an event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime, durable state so work survives a restart, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and full logging of every prompt, tool call and decision so any run can be reconstructed. You will build the evaluation layer that makes any of it trustworthy, because an agent that cannot be measured cannot be trusted with anything beyond reading. And you will build the agents themselves, across everything from executive reporting down to a layer of agents that watch the platform and improve it.
This is a governance-heavy environment by design, and that is the interesting part of the problem. Agents are risk-tiered from read-only internal data through to external-facing output, with review depth, evaluation requirements and human approval scaling by tier. Some capabilities are permanently off limits: an agent may read and report, it may carry a human-authored update into a system of record once a human consents, and it may initiate contact within a strict budget, but it may never autonomously write a commitment (an owner, a due date, a status) into a shared work system. Your job is to make that structurally impossible rather than merely forbidden.
You will be the only engineer on this platform. You will close open architecture decisions yourself, own the infrastructure end to end, and instrument the system so it reports its own return.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you'll:
- Ship the agent platform to production. An event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime (choosing the runtime is an open decision you will close), durable state that survives a failed run, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and complete run logging in the warehouse.
- Own the evaluation layer, and switch on the gate that depends on it. Golden suites with behavioral assertions rather than intuition, judge criteria with a written rubric, safety cases that must pass on every run, and a CI gate that blocks a regression from merging. This is the precondition for every agent that does anything beyond read internal data.
- Build and register the agent portfolio. Reporting, drafting, linting, triage and question-answering agents across the executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers, plus a meta layer that observes the platform and improves it.
- Enforce governance in code. Risk tiers the pipeline actually enforces, least-privilege credentials per agent, tool-permission gates, a decision audit log, and autonomy classes where the dangerous class has no code path rather than a warning label. Nothing runs without a registered owner, tier, tool grant and human gate.
- Design how the system contacts people. A hard interruption budget per person, message bundling instead of a stream of pings, and a structure that gives something useful before it asks for anything. Adoption depends on this more than on any other single design choice.
- Own the platform tooling. The compiler and validator, inventory integrity, and the paths that distribute context and capabilities into the repositories and chat surfaces where work happens.
- Compute the operating measures from production data. A pipeline from raw system activity through to a computed maturity grade per team, defensible enough that a team can dispute the result and be answered with the query rather than an opinion.
- Instrument the platform's own return. A ledger that logs the work each agent absorbs and computes the monthly figure, so the value of the system is a measurement rather than a claim.
HOW YOU'LL THINK
RECURSIVE THINKING
You build the generator, not the artifact. When you need thirty agents, you do not write thirty agents; you build the inventory, the compiler and the distribution path that makes the thirty-first cost an afternoon, then a meta layer whose job is to watch the platform, find its drift and file the fix.
The evaluation layer is the same move applied to trust. You are not checking whether one agent is correct today. You are building the machine that decides whether every future agent is allowed to ship, which means the suite has to be right in a way the agent does not, and the thing that grades has to be graded too.
INVERSION THINKING
You start from the failure and work backward to the design. The rule is that an agent may never autonomously write a commitment into a shared work system. The weak implementation is an instruction in a prompt. The strong one is that the credential in the agent's tool grant physically cannot set an owner, a due date or a status, so no amount of clever input, prompt injection or model error produces the forbidden write. You reach for the second one first.
Same for evaluation. Before writing a suite you enumerate how the agent can be wrong: an update that invents progress that did not happen, one that quotes a private channel into a public digest, one that is accurate and reads as an accusation, one that credits the wrong person. Then the suite is that list, each case caught before the agent ships rather than after it embarrasses someone.
AI-NATIVE EXECUTION
You use agentic tools on real work, in files and repositories, with the same rigor you apply to anything else you ship. You have a setup of your own and can describe it mechanically: what triggers it, what it is allowed to touch, where the human approves, what it logs, and how you found out the one time it went wrong.
That experience is this job, generalized. You are building for async engineers across 40+ countries who will judge the platform by whether it saves them an hour or costs them one, so you are your own first user and your own harshest reviewer.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
MUST HAVE
- Have shipped production LLM agent systems that other people depended on. Not demos, not internal showcases. Systems with operational history, real users and at least one incident you can talk through. Prompt engineering on its own does not clear this bar.
- Design evaluations, not spot checks. You build golden sets, write behavioral assertions, define judge rubrics, set pass thresholds and gate CI on the result. You can explain why "we reviewed a bunch of outputs and they looked good" is not evaluation.
- Have done deep API work against the systems work actually lives in, and have authored MCP servers. You know the specific failure modes of those APIs, not just that they exist.
- Own infrastructure end to end in Python on GCP, with a cloud warehouse and infrastructure as code. You provision, deploy, monitor and roll back your own systems, and you close architecture decisions rather than routing them onward.
- Have taste about how software contacts humans. You treat every notification as spending a limited amount of trust.
STRONG SIGNAL
- Public work in this space. An open-source agent framework, an MCP server, an evaluation harness, or writing on agent reliability that other practitioners cite.
- LLM observability and cost instrumentation. Tracing agent runs, attributing spend per run, and building the queries that turn raw logs into a report someone acts on.
- You have built an internal platform that non-engineers adopted voluntarily, and can describe what you changed after watching them use it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- The platform is boring. Agents run on a schedule and on events, state survives restarts, failed runs roll back cleanly, and every run can be reconstructed from its log.
- Nothing ships unevaluated. Every registered agent has a real suite with safety cases, the gate blocks regressions, and when someone challenges an output the answer is a test case rather than an argument.
- The dangerous action is impossible, not discouraged. An audit of any agent's credentials shows it cannot perform the writes it is not allowed to perform, and the audit log makes every consequential decision traceable.
- Teams pull the platform instead of being pushed. Agents get adopted because the reports are useful and the contact is rare and well-timed, and each team ends up with at least one workflow that runs automatically.
- The platform reports its own value. The work absorbed is measured and published, so the case for expanding it is made with data rather than enthusiasm.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
Fivetran + dbt Labs is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Product Design team responsible for dbt Labs. This role reports to the Director of Product Design.
This is an exciting time to join! As Fivetran and dbt Labs come together, you will help shape a coherent product experience, guide the design team through change, and influence the future of AI-powered data products. You will join a strong and talented design organization whose members care deeply about their craft, the practitioners they serve, and one another.
This is a people management and product leadership role for a design leader who wants to shape technical data products at scale. You will manage and develop a team of product designers, shape the UX strategy for dbt products, and partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define how data teams build, transform, govern, and trust their data. You will lead through strategy, coaching, direction, and cross-functional partnership.
What you'll do
Lead the dbt product design team
You will manage and coach a team of product designers who work across dbt platform and CLI-based products. Designers own the full design process from problem definition and research to UX/UI and partnering with eng/PM through delivery. You will build a culture where designers feel supported, challenged, and empowered to do thoughtful, high-quality work for deeply technical users. You will set clear expectations, give actionable feedback, support career growth, and create the conditions for strong design craft.
Own UX strategy for dbt
You will define and drive UX strategy across dbt’s product experience. You will identify the highest-impact experience opportunities, connect design priorities to product outcomes, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership as a strategic peer in roadmap and product direction conversations.
Provide design direction for technical data products
You will set direction for design work across complex workflows used by technical practitioners. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need enough technical fluency to understand the domain, evaluate tradeoffs, and partner credibly with engineering leaders. You should be comfortable discussing data workflows, ELT, analytics engineering, developer tools, and infrastructure-oriented product experiences.
Shape AI and agentic product experiences
You will lead design strategy for AI-powered and agentic experiences within dbt. This requires more than adding AI features to existing workflows. You will help the team design systems that make AI assistance understandable, useful, and safe for high-stakes technical work. As dbt builds experiences where both humans and AI agents interact with the same data infrastructure, you will also think about how product surfaces need to work for both personas.
Help integrate Fivetran and dbt Labs design
You will play an important role in co-creating a unified product experience and design culture. This is a change-leadership role. You will partner with the Director of Product Design to merge systems, processes, and culture. You will help designers navigate a new organizational context, build strong cross-functional relationships, and create clarity during a period of product and company evolution.
Build an AI-native design operating model
You will operationalize AI across the design lifecycle (from research synthesis and ideation to prototyping, documentation, and design QA). You will establish shared workflows, quality standards, and review practices that help the team move faster without compromising product quality or consistency. In partnership with the Director of Product Design and Product and Engineering leadership, you will also define cross-functional standards for when AI-generated work requires design review, ensuring clear expectations for human oversight, quality, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Required experience
You have 8+ years of product design experience and at least 5 years managing product designers.
Strong people management skills, including coaching, performance development, direct feedback, and team culture building.
Strong cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
Deep care for craft, with a leadership style focused on direction, critique, strategy, and coaching rather than acting as the primary IC designer.
Designing for, or leading teams that design for, technically complex products such as ELT, data infrastructure, analytics engineering, developer tools, cloud platforms, data governance, observability, or adjacent enterprise infrastructure products.
Designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences. You understand the difference between a lightweight AI feature, a copilot, and an agentic workflow.
Experience operationalizing AI workflows for product design teams that goes way beyond AI prototyping. You have defined how designers use AI across the design lifecycle and have established the workflows, standards, review practices, and quality thresholds needed to make AI-assisted work effective at team scale.
Owning UX strategy for a meaningful product area. You can show how your design strategy influenced product direction, not just how your team delivered screens.
Strong technical fluency. You can reason about complex systems, understand engineering constraints, and discuss tradeoffs with Product and Engineering partners.
Experience designing for expert technical users such as data engineers, analytics engineers, software engineers, platform teams, or security teams.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the Role:
Vercel is seeking a Presentation Designer to own presentation design end to end and help make every deck, from an intimate strategy meeting to a high-profile main-stage keynote, a sharp and compelling reflection of our brand and story.
Presentations are one of the highest-leverage surfaces at Vercel. They are where executives communicate strategy, where product teams tell their stories, and where the company shows up in front of customers, partners, and the press. This role will own the full lifecycle of presentation design, from initial concept through storytelling, visual design, presentation systems, and final delivery across PowerPoint, Figma, Keynote, and Google Slides.
Beyond designing individual presentations, this person will help build the systems, templates, components, guidelines, and workflows that allow presentation design to scale across Vercel. They may also partner with our Design Engineering team to explore and build internal tools that make it easier for teams to create high-quality, on-brand decks efficiently.
You'll work closely with our Creative/Brand, Executive, Product Marketing, Communications, Events, and Design Engineering teams to turn complex technical concepts into visual narratives that resonate with any audience and raise the bar for presentation design across the company.
This role is ideal for a designer who thinks about narrative and hierarchy as much as pixels, can balance high-touch creative work with scalable systems thinking, and knows how to build trust while working directly with senior executives under tight timelines. You'll report to the Director of Creative Design within our Creative/Brand team and will be based in San Francisco or New York City.
What You Will Do:
Own presentation design strategy and execution end to end, leading projects from initial concept through final delivery while staying aligned with objectives, timelines, and brand guidelines.
Design visually compelling presentations that combine storytelling, information design, and data visualization to communicate key messages clearly and memorably.
Build and maintain a cohesive presentation design system, including templates, components, layouts, motion principles, documentation, and usage guidelines.
Develop scalable, branded presentation frameworks across Google Slides, PowerPoint, Figma, and Keynote so teams can move quickly without sacrificing quality or consistency.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion’s Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality and unlock the full potential of our platform. You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes.
This role sits at the center of Notion’s workflow-led GTM motion. You will partner directly with customers to understand their business goals, operating processes, technical environment, governance needs, and adoption barriers, then translate that context into scalable Notion architectures that drive measurable value.
You will be hands-on across discovery, solution design, workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, adoption and handoff. You will work deeply with customers to define what Notion should own, where it should integrate with existing systems, and how Notion can become a durable operating layer for their teams.
The best candidates combine strong consultative discovery, systems thinking, technical fluency, AI-native workflow design, implementation judgment and exceptional customer presence. You should be comfortable reasoning through technical tradeoffs, designing scalable solutions, and partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineering when deeper engineering support is required.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Partner with customers on forward deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals and workflow requirements into scalable clear solution design and Notion solutions that drive durable adoption.
- Design scalable Notion architectures that translate customer workflows, permission and governance needs, integrations and AI use cases into optimal workspaces that are easy to adopt, manage and scale.
- Design and deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, Workers, Developer Platform capabilities and adjacent AI tools, partnering with Forward Deployed Engineering when advanced technical depth is needed for migrations, API constraints, security architecture or frontier implementation.
- Help customers navigate change by designing adoption plans, enablement materials and launch approaches that drive sustained usage and measurable business value.
- Identify repeatable patterns across customer engagements and convert them into packaged solutions, templates, reference architectures, run books, enablement assets and product feedback.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, simplifying complex technical requirements, making practical tradeoff recommendations and helping stakeholders align around a clear implementation path.
- Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, PMM, Services leadership and the partner ecosystem to scale what works beyond individual customer engagements.
- Create clear implementation plans, handoff materials and success measures that align customers and internal teams on the path to value.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 5+ years of experience in tech services/consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
- Strong consultative discovery skills, including the ability to map current-state workflows, identify customer pain, understand operating models, surface technical constraints, and define practical future-state solutions.
- Hands-on AI builder mindset, with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, automate, or improve real business workflows.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems, developer workflows and implementation tradeoffs. You do not need to write production code but you should be able to reason through technical constraints and troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong experience delivering implementations that drive adoption, change management and long-term customer value.
- Strong project and engagement management skills, including ownership of scope, timeline, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, risks, decisions, dependencies and launch readiness.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Strong executive presence and customer judgment, with the ability to build trust, frame tradeoffs clearly, and move ambiguous decisions forward.
- Bias toward action, high learning velocity, and comfort building in fast-changing AI-native product environments.
- Written and spoken Japanese fluency to communicate directly with external customers, partners, and internal teams
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience designing or deploying Agents, automations or AI-powered workflows with Customers.
- Experience with Notion, APIs, MCPs, Workers, coding agents or developer platform workflows.
- Experience developing discovery methodologies, reusable delivery assets, internal tooling, packaged services or reference architectures from the ground up.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to turn field learnings into roadmap signal, reusable architecture patterns or scalable product improvements.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
- Business level English proficiency to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and peers.
- Experience working with Japanese enterprise customers or familiarity with Japan market dynamics and business practices.

Lead design decisions across the finance value chain (revenue recognition incl. deferred revenue, breakage, rewards; COGS and inventory accounting; intercompany; multi-entity consolidation; period-end close; treasury; tax; AP).
Own the transformation roadmap and governance (SteerCo), manage stakeholders and dependencies, and drive adoption and training so change sticks.

Own the data migration strategy, including chart of accounts design, master data ownership, and cutover balances.
Drive the design of the future-state finance operating model across group entities, including roles, controls, segregation of duties, and approval workflows.
Data, reporting & decision-making
Deliver standardized dashboards and driver-based forecasting (toward a ±5% accuracy target), with a single source of truth.
Embed finance in the company’s key decision forums.
Program & change management
Define and track the efficiency, accuracy, and cost benefits of the transformation.
Report progress to leadership and the Audit & Risk Committee.
Embed AI and automation opportunities into the design (close acceleration, anomaly detection, reconciliations, reporting) rather than treating them as an afterthought.
What you'll bring:
10+ years in finance with a clear track record of leading large-scale finance transformation.
Has led an ERP implementation end to end as the finance lead (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Deep process re-engineering and automation experience across O2C, P2P, R2R, and FP&A.

Program and change-management discipline; can run a multi-workstream roadmap with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

Preferred experience
Prior exposure to telecom, MVNO, SaaS, marketplace or other usage-based / partner-settlement revenue models.
Experience embedding AI / automation into finance processes (close, controls, reconciliations, reporting).
Familiarity with modern data/BI tooling (e.g., dbt, BigQuery, BI dashboards) and finance data architecture.
Multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction experience; M&A integration a plus.

Job Description
Action1 is transforming endpoint security for modern IT teams. As we continue our evolution from SMB to enterprise, we are hiring a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business across state, local, and education accounts in the United States. This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle role focused on landing and expanding SLED accounts while applying the same disciplined, new-business sales motion we use across mid-market and enterprise organizations. You will engage directly with IT Directors, Security Leaders, Infrastructure teams, procurement stakeholders, and executive decision-makers to position Action1’s patch management and endpoint security platform as a strategic solution.
We’re looking for someone who understands how cybersecurity and IT infrastructure buying works — longer sales cycles, multiple decision-makers, technical validation, security review, procurement navigation, and strong business justification — and who can bring that discipline into public sector and education accounts. This is not a relationship-only SLED role or a reactive RFP position. We need someone who can create pipeline, open doors with IT and security buyers, run strong discovery, manage technical evaluations, and close business in a high-growth, remote-first SaaS environment.
If you’ve successfully sold cybersecurity or adjacent IT solutions into mid-market, enterprise, or public sector accounts and enjoy building a pipeline as much as closing, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
— Drive SLED Revenue Growth: Own a defined U.S. SLED territory and meet or exceed quota targets through disciplined pipeline generation, account planning, and deal execution.
— Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Lead opportunities from prospecting through close — including discovery, stakeholder mapping, value alignment, technical validation, procurement navigation, negotiation, and contract execution.
— Sell to IT & Security Leaders: Engage IT Managers, Directors of Infrastructure, CISOs, CIOs, SysAdmins, security teams, and technical buying committees with credibility and consultative expertise.
— Build & Maintain Strong Pipeline Coverage: Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, and strategic account planning. Maintain disciplined forecasting and opportunity hygiene in Salesforce.
— Navigate Complex Buying Processes: Manage multi-threaded sales cycles, security reviews, procurement workflows, public sector buying requirements, and competitive displacement strategies.
— Partner with Solutions Engineers: Collaborate closely with pre-sales/technical resources to ensure strong technical validation and alignment with customer requirements.
— Execute Account Expansion Strategy: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within SLED customers to drive expansion revenue and long-term retention.
— Stay Market-Aware: Maintain a strong understanding of cybersecurity trends, endpoint management, patch management, vulnerability remediation, public-sector IT priorities, and competitive positioning.
— Operate with Ownership: Work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Channel, Customer Success, Product, and Sales Leadership.
— Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with marketing, product, channel, and sales leadership to incorporate field feedback and refine messaging for public-sector and education accounts.
Requirements
— 3–7+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, endpoint management, or adjacent technical solutions.
— Proven success consistently owning deals with a minimum average deal value of $30K.
— Proven success selling into mid-market, enterprise, public sector, education, or other complex buying environments.
— Experience engaging IT buyers, including IT Directors, SysAdmins, Security Leaders, Infrastructure teams, and technical stakeholders.
— Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and close complex deals.
— Strong forecasting discipline and Salesforce hygiene.
— Experience navigating longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including technical validation, security review, procurement, and legal/commercial negotiation.
— Excellent discovery and consultative selling skills.
— Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
— Ability to operate independently in a developing territory and create structure without relying on a fully mature sales motion.
— We are seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible due to business needs.
— SLED, public sector, education, government, or regulated-market sales experience.
— Experience selling cybersecurity, endpoint management, patch management, vulnerability management, EDR, MDR, IAM, IT operations, or infrastructure solutions into public sector or education accounts.
— Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, cooperative purchasing, contract vehicles, RFPs, reseller-led motions, or budget cycles.
Benefits
— A collaborative environment encouraging you to own your domain and implement best practices
— Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for promotion.
— Friendly and professional peers, eager to help and help you grow.
— A multitude of interesting challenges and opportunities.

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the Role
As a Systems Engineer at WorkOS, you will be the technical backbone of our internal IT organization — designing the systems, automations, and infrastructure that scale our internal operations. This is not a help desk role: you will architect endpoint management workflows, write scripts, ship automation, and build the foundation that keeps a fast-growing company running smoothly.
We have an MSP partner handling tier 1 support. Your job is to architect the systems the MSP executes against, automate everything upstream, and serve as the escalation point for complex tier 2/3 issues. You will own identity, device management, SaaS lifecycle, and the automation layer that ties it all together.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for engineers who build and automate, not just operate. You think in systems — understanding how identity, devices, SaaS tools, and cloud infrastructure connect — and your instinct is to eliminate manual work. You might be a great fit if you:
- Have deep Okta expertise — not just user administration, but Workflows, integrations, and policy design
- Write scripts (Python, Bash) to automate what others do manually
- Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code — not just for cloud, but for identity and SaaS configuration
- Understand SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM) deeply enough to troubleshoot and architect, not just configure
- Are comfortable managing a macOS fleet end-to-end — zero-touch provisioning, policy enforcement, MDM
- Think about AI as a tool for IT automation — you are curious about using LLMs and agentic workflows to eliminate toil
- Take ownership, work independently, and follow through from identifying a problem to shipping a solution
Responsibilities ✔️
- Own and evolve our identity infrastructure — Okta (SSO, MFA, Workflows, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle management), Google Workspace, and downstream SaaS integrations
- Architect and ship automation across the IT stack — onboarding/offboarding workflows, access controls, license governance, and SaaS lifecycle management
- Own macOS endpoint management end-to-end — zero-touch provisioning, policy enforcement, detection and remediation scripting via MDM
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for identity, SaaS, and cloud resources
- Serve as the escalation point for complex systems issues (tier 2/3) — working with our MSP partner to ensure smooth resolution
- Evaluate and enable new SaaS tools — pilot emerging technologies including AI-powered IT automation
- Create documentation and runbooks that reduce operational toil and increase durability
- Drive an automation-first culture across the IT function — if it can be automated, it should be
Qualifications 🌟
- 7+ years in IT systems, infrastructure, or identity engineering roles — with clear examples of designing, building, and automating at scale (not just operating)
- Deep experience with Okta — Workflows, integrations, policy design, SCIM provisioning (not just user administration)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication flows
- Hands-on Terraform experience for managing infrastructure and configuration as code
- Strong macOS fleet management — MDM (Jamf, Kandji, or equivalent), scripting, zero-touch provisioning
- Deep understanding of SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0) and SCIM provisioning patterns
- Experience with Google Workspace administration at scale
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals — DNS, HTTP, APIs, VPNs, firewalls
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with AI/LLM tools for IT automation (agentic workflows, ChatGPT/Claude for scripting, Okta + AI integrations)
- GitOps or declarative approaches to device and identity management
- Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP or AWS)
- SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance experience
- Experience operating in an MSP-augmented IT model
