About the Role
iCapital is seeking a dynamic, client-facing Hybrid Sales Associate / Assistant Vice President to join the Alternative Investment Distribution team. This role uniquely blends high-volume inside sales activity with targeted field engagement, combining the efficiency of structured outbound calling with the relationship depth of in-person advisor meetings, regional events, and on-site firm visits. This is an ideal role for a sales professional who has excelled in an inside sales capacity and is ready to add a field dimension to their practice, or for a field wholesaler looking to leverage technology and structured outreach to scale their advisor relationships.
Responsibilities
Execute 50+ outbound calls per day targeting financial advisors not currently active on the iCapital platform, maintaining consistent daily call blocks regardless of field activity.
Work from prioritized prospect lists segmented by AUM, firm type, channel, and alternative investment affinity.
Deliver a compelling, concise platform introduction tailored to each advisor's practice.
Conduct structured discovery calls to build rich advisor profiles including AUM, client demographics, alts experience, product preferences, and compliance constraints.
Execute multi-touch follow-up sequences via phone, email, and digital content to maintain pipeline momentum between field visits.
Conduct regular field visits to advisor offices, branch locations, and home offices within your assigned territory to deepen relationships initiated via phone.
Represent iCapital at regional advisor events, due diligence meetings, fund roadshows, and industry conferences.
Partner with internal product specialists and external fund managers to deliver in-person educational sessions, platform demonstrations, and investment committee presentations.
Identify and cultivate relationships with branch managers, team leads, and center-of-influence advisors to expand platform adoption within key firms.
Maintain a segmented pipeline of advisors at each stage of the funnel, prioritizing field time for highest-potential opportunities.
Flag high-value advisors for escalation to Senior Relationship Managers and coordinate warm handoffs.
Track and report weekly on call activity, field meetings, registration progress, and conversion metrics.
Log all call activity, field meetings, contact details, advisor profiles, and next steps in Salesforce in real time; same day for calls, within 24 hours for field activity.
Maintain complete, accurate CRM records for every advisor in your territory.
Use CRM and sequencing data to identify whitespace within your territory and optimize the balance of inside vs. field time.
Share market intelligence and advisor feedback with the broader Distribution, Product, and Marketing teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
3–6+ years of sales experience in financial services, with a combination of inside and/or field sales exposure is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage both a structured daily call cadence and an active field calendar simultaneously
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required
Strong verbal and written communication skills; polished, professional presence in both phone and in-person settings
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and outbound sequencing tools (Outreach or equivalent)
Willingness and able to travel within assigned territory (estimated 25–40% travel)
Self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing inside and field priorities
Knowledge of alternative investments
Experience selling into or supporting RIAs and independent broker-dealers networks
Track record of converting phone-initiated relationships into productive in-person sales meetings

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Enterprise Systems at 1Password owns the tools and systems the company runs on. We centrally select, administer, integrate, and govern Enterprise Tools so that they work together as an interconnected ecosystem that shapes how 1Password operates. The team is charting new territory: centralizing ownership of company tools, building cross-functional integrations, and enabling the company to adopt new technologies, including AI, responsibly and strategically.
The Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer is a key technical contributor on this team. You'll own the lifecycle and roadmap for a portfolio of Tier 1 enterprise tools, work closely with the team's Staff Engineer, and partner with Security, Finance, Legal, and business teams. You'll also bring practical AI and automation skills to your work. If you enjoy building scalable systems, solving workflow problems with automation, and raising the bar for those around you, we want to hear from you.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US or Canada.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of IT or enterprise systems experience, with a track record of building and supporting enterprise systems at scale.
- Hands-on expertise administering, integrating, and optimizing core enterprise platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, or similar.
- Experience with identity and access management concepts, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and access reviews (Okta preferred).
- Experience with workflow automation and integration tools such as Tines, Okta Workflows, Workato, or APIs and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled productivity tools or platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Dust, Claude, Glean), with an understanding of secure and responsible AI adoption.
- Ability to build and communicate a strategic roadmap for a tool or portfolio, and to translate business workflow challenges into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software licensing, procurement, and vendor management (a plus).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a rapidly scaling organization.
- A desire to mentor others and contribute to a positive team culture.
Success in this role looks like:
- Your assigned tools are configured, maintained, and operating reliably, meeting team standards for uptime, security posture, and employee adoption.
- Each tool you own has a documented roadmap aligned with company needs and vendor direction.
- Licenses, renewals, and provisioning are managed efficiently, with clear ownership and no grey zones between IT and the business.
- Integrations and configurations are documented and follow consistent standards.
- AI features and automations in your area are rolled out securely and adopted, with measurable reductions in manual effort.
- Partners across IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and the business see you as a trusted, responsive point of contact.
What you can expect:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of an assigned portfolio of Tier 1 tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Notion, Jira, Asana, Freshservice), including administration, configuration, support, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for your tools, balancing near-term priorities with long-term direction and staying current on vendor roadmaps. Contribute to the team's overall roadmap.
- Manage SSO and SCIM provisioning through Okta, and support access controls, access reviews, and application onboarding and offboarding.
- Implement and maintain configuration standards and governance (e.g., feature enablement, retention policies, compliance guardrails), balancing enterprise-wide consistency with business unit needs.
- Support license management, cost projections, renewals, and vendor relationships, partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
- Assess new application requests against the team's tiering criteria (adoption scope, security sensitivity, integration complexity, and contract value), and confirm responsibilities with business teams before onboarding or procurement proceeds.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, Tines, Okta Workflows, and other tooling.
- Configure and operate AI features and platforms (e.g., OpenAI Enterprise, Dust, and AI capabilities within Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace), ensuring secure, responsible, and well-supported usage.
- Build and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations that reduce manual effort and streamline operations across teams.
- Contribute technical analysis and recommendations when evaluating new tools and AI capabilities, covering security, privacy, compliance, and fit.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for tool configurations, integrations, and AI and automation usage.
- Provide technical guidance to help employees adopt centralized tools and AI capabilities, in coordination with the AI Working Group and Enterprise L&D.
- Mentor teammates and share knowledge to help build a collaborative, focused, and impactful team.

OUR ETHOS
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We’re building the next generation of wallet infrastructure at Rain, supporting both custodial and non-custodial architectures. Our team is tackling foundational problems across cryptography, key management, secure computing, and blockchain wallet infrastructure—not simply integrating existing wallet SDKs. We’re looking for exceptional engineering leaders and senior individual contributors who can architect these systems from the ground up, bring deep expertise in one or more areas of wallet security and infrastructure, and have the technical breadth to work across multiple wallet architectures. Most importantly, we want engineers who are excited to push the technical frontier and define what modern wallet infrastructure should look like, rather than reproduce the standard stack that exists today.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the architecture of Rain’s wallet infrastructure, designing secure, scalable systems for custody, key management, transaction signing, authorization, and recovery.
- Design flexible signing infrastructure that can support MPC, HSMs, secure enclaves, TEEs, and emerging cryptographic approaches without creating fragmented systems.
- Build and evolve wallet systems across multiple account models, including EOAs, smart contract wallets, account abstraction, ERC-4337, embedded wallets, and multichain infrastructure.
- Define the boundaries between cryptography and wallet orchestration, including how keys, signing authority, transaction policies, permissions, and authorization interact across the platform.
- Architect security-critical key management systems covering key generation, distributed key generation, storage, rotation, backup, recovery, and hardware-backed isolation.
- Build highly available signing and transaction infrastructure capable of securely controlling high-value customer assets while maintaining reliable, developer-friendly APIs.
- Set the technical direction for wallet security, including threat modeling, policy engines, secrets management, account recovery, authentication, and programmable authorization.
- Make foundational build-vs.-buy decisions across cryptography, custody, wallet, and security infrastructure while ensuring the architecture can evolve alongside new blockchain standards and cryptographic techniques.
