Join OLX and see how far you can go.
This role will be based in Poland, and you need to be residing in the country already.
As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead software engineers building and scaling critical platforms that power the OLX engineering ecosystem. You'll combine strong people leadership with enough technical depth to guide major projects, shape technical direction, and help the team solve complex platform challenges.
This is not a generalist Engineering Manager role. Previous experience leading an engineering team in a Platform environment is mandatory. We need someone who understands what it means to build platforms for other engineers and the unique challenges that come with balancing developer experience, reliability, scalability, standardisation, and team autonomy.
You'll capture requirements, shape ambitious but balanced project scope, lead technical initiatives, and partner across teams to solve technical problems and ensure smooth adoption and implementation of platform solutions. Our Platform environment is a mix of software engineering, APIs, distributed systems, infrastructure, DevOps, scalability, and reliability.
We're looking for someone who can operate at both levels: developing people and leading a Platform team, while providing the technical and organisational leadership needed to make the platform successful.
What you will be doing:
Lead by example and manage a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science and data engineering managers, and product managers to define project goals, scope, and deliverables;
Drive the end-to-end development process, from design to implementation and deployment, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions (with controlled cost);
Identify and prioritize technical initiatives, considering ROI, scalability, and performance requirements;
Implement modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery;
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the platform meets customer needs and provides an exceptional user experience;
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Track record of proven people management experience (3+ years) focused on developing and growing people;
5+ years of professional experience in software development.
Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic systems;
Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Streaming architectures);
Strong knowledge of data structures, and software design patterns;
Good understanding and ideally successful application of AI/ML;
Experience with modern software development practices, such as agile methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment;
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Our benefits:
Monthly salary and an annual bonus (20%)
Training and conference budget, and free access to Udemy courses
A benefits package with 300 points on the Mybenefit platform per month, private medical care provided by Luxmed, Ask Henry services, and much more
IP rights’ costs - 60%
100% remote work (as well as the possibility of working from our offices in Poznan and Warsaw)
At OLX, we unlock value in our people. We invest in ourselves and each other to reach our full potential. We avoid bureaucracy and empower our teams to innovate; with opportunities, training and leadership behaviors a focus for all. Our commitment to inclusion ensures we listen to a diverse range of voices when making decisions. And, we combine the spirit and agility of a startup with our global scale and the backing of Prosus, one of the largest consumer internet groups in the world.
We also unlock value for our stakeholders. We are proud of the positive contribution we make to our planet, by enabling more conscious consumption and helping the world make the most of its limited resources through more efficient trade.
And last but not least, we love to unlock value for our customers. Every single month, over 300 million people use our platforms to easily, safely, and conveniently find their perfect home, buy or sell a car, find a great job, sell things they no longer need, or strike a great deal on something they need. And we help thousands of entrepreneurs and businesses find their customers too.

You will be fully responsible for building and scaling these products, owning their P&L, and delivering a seamless customer experience across every touchpoint. This is a role for someone who can balance customer desirability, technological feasibility, and business profitability — turning constraints into competitive advantages. The role is mostly remote, with business trips when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product strategy and roadmap for Cash Loans and Credit Lines tailored to Near Prime customers, based on market analysis and competitive monitoring.
Design compelling value propositions that balance customer attractiveness with tech feasibility, regulatory constraints, and financial efficiency.
Own full product P&L and key performance metrics: time-to-yes, time-to-cash, activation and usage rates, balance per customer, profitability, vintage risk quality, and attrition. Initiate data-driven changes to meet target KPIs.
Architect end-to-end customer journeys, covering legal, financial, and technology layers to ensure seamless onboarding and lifecycle management — from acquisition and activation to active usage and retention.
Develop partnership integration concepts with online/offline retailers and other channels to drive customer acquisition.
Continuously analyze and improve unit economics (UE) for each product, increase customer segment LTV, and boost overall portfolio efficiency.
Build and manage end-to-end product management processes for the Cash Loans and Credit Lines stream. Define a success matrix for new products and initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with risk, marketing, IT, finance, and legal teams (both locally and with headquarters). Collect and incorporate feedback from all stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement of customer experience (CJM) through product and process optimization. Ensure new features and products meet cost, quality, and performance targets.
Key Requirements:
Solid experience in consumer lending (Cash Loans, Credit Lines, Credit Cards, PDL, or other unsecured credit) on the business or risk management side — mandatory.
Deep understanding of adjacent functions: risk management, marketing, and IT.
Strong upper-intermediate English (both spoken and written) — required for regular communication with international teams and HQ.
Powerful analytical skills, out-of-the-box thinking, and flexibility. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Openness to new ideas, genuine desire to learn, advanced communication and soft skills.
What We Offer
Remote work format, with office/on-site options when needed.
Official employment under local labor law; contractor arrangements available for candidates from other countries.
Opportunity to shape a strategically important product line in an international fintech environment.
Data-driven culture where your decisions directly impact business growth and customer outcomes.
Autonomy to build processes from scratch and drive meaningful innovations in the Near Prime lending space.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to build ElevenLabs' public sector business across Europe. The Public Sector Partnerships Lead will identify and build relationships with government institutions across Europe, bridging the gap between government and our GTM team to drive adoption of ElevenLabs' products and grow government into a strong, durable revenue stream for the company. The role also involves building strategic partnerships with policymakers, industry associations, and coalitions — including at the EU institutional level — as well as monitoring regulatory developments and supporting policy campaigns and impact initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Drive government adoption and revenue (primary)
- Identify government partnership opportunities across Europe — from healthcare and education to defence, transport, and other state-owned enterprises — and bridge the gap between government institutions and the GTM team to drive adoption and deployment of ElevenLabs' products.
- Build and maintain a wide network of relationships across European government institutions — spanning national ministries, agencies, EU institutions, and public sector bodies — not limited to regulatory or policy counterparts.
- Promote government adoption of ElevenLabs products and services in partnership with the GTM team.
Build strategic partnerships (secondary)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups — at both the national and EU level.
- Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events, advancing the company's public policy goals.
Monitor and advise on policy (tertiary)
- Lead ElevenLabs engagement with government bodies and officials across Europe, with a focus on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and/or digital rights.
- Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations impacting the company — with particular attention to EU-level legislation (AI Act, GDPR, DSA/DMA) and its implementation across member states.
- Support the development of internal policies by our Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams.
- Provide strategic counsel to company leadership on regional policy trends and their business implications.
- Define and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives that advance company objectives.
Who you are:
- You're genuinely interested in the future of AI and emerging technologies, bringing curiosity and enthusiasm to your role.
- You stay up-to-date on AI regulation and industry trends, and are eager to apply this expertise to cutting-edge products.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, working cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support and scale a growing business.
- You're comfortable working independently and handling ambiguity, excelling in situations where you must make informed decisions quickly.
- You bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to each project, focused on moving the business forward.
What you bring:
Primary requirements
- 10+ years' experience in public and private sector (in-house, firm) roles, with a track record of building relationships with government that led to commercial or technology-adoption outcomes — not solely policy or regulatory roles.
- A wide, current network of contacts spanning multiple European markets — across national ministries, agencies, and public sector bodies — as well as EU institutions (European Commission, European Parliament, Council). Depth in at least two major European markets is strongly preferred.
- Experience identifying and opening doors for technology partnerships with government institutions is strongly preferred.
- Experience navigating the multi-stakeholder landscape of EU policymaking — member state governments, EU institutions, and Brussels-based coalitions — is a significant plus.
Also required
- Strong knowledge of the European AI policy landscape, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, DSA/DMA, and broader themes of AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, and competition.
- Demonstrated success in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes, as well as coalition building.
- Public policy experience across Europe.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including when briefing government officials and other policymakers.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.
