Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Low-level Control Engineer to join our Control Team in London, focusing on control development and integration for our end-effectors.
You will design, implement and validate actuator- and joint-level controllers and grasp-level behaviours across a family of end-effector variants - parallel and multi-finger grippers, vacuum and suction tooling, and purpose-built tooling for specific customer tasks. Each variant brings different actuation, different sensing and, critically, different transmission mechanisms: geared direct drives, cable- and tendon-driven routings, differential and coupled linkages, and underactuated designs where few actuators must produce adaptive, compliant grasping across many degrees of freedom.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in control theory, strong software engineering skills in C++, and comfort working from real-time embedded control up through kinematics/dynamics and hardware debugging. You will work closely with mechanical and hardware engineers - early enough in the design cycle that your input shapes actuation and transmission choices rather than merely inheriting them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Low-Level Control Development:
- Tune and validate actuator- and joint-space control loops (PID, feedforward, impedance/admittance, observers, state feedback) for multi-DoF end-effectors in ROS2.
- Develop grasp-level behaviours: grasp force control, compliant closing, slip detection and correction, and adaptive grasping on underactuated grippers.
- Implement safety and fault-handling mechanisms — thermal and over-current protection, stall and jam detection, grip-loss detection, safe behaviour on fault.
Transmission Mechanisms, Modeling & System Identification:
- Build and identify models of actuators, transmissions and mechanisms - geared, cable/tendon-driven, differential, coupled and underactuated - including compliance, friction, backlash, hysteresis, cable stretch and pretension effects.
- Own the joint-to-actuator abstraction for these mechanisms and the correct exposure of joint versus actuator state through the control stack.
- Contribute directly to transmission mechanism design: work with mechanical engineers on routing, reduction ratios, DoF coupling and underactuation strategy, bringing the controllability and observability consequences of each option into the conversation early.
Sensor & Hardware Integration:
- Integrate and calibrate end-effector sensing (F/T, tactile, encoders, temperature/current, vacuum feedback) with real-time acquisition across the control stack.
- Hands-on bring-up and debugging of new end-effectors, including test-stand work and vendor-supplied units.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:
- Close the loop with mechanical/electronics engineers across sites on actuation, transmission and sensing requirements.
- Work with data collection, applications and deployment teams so end-effectors work reliably in real use.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Shipped real-time-safe, object-oriented C++ control software running on real hardware.
- Tuned and validated controllers on physical actuators, including sensor calibration and bring-up.
- Modelled, identified and controlled through real mechanical transmissions - gearing, cables/tendons, differentials, coupled linkages or underactuated mechanisms - and dealt with the compliance, friction and backlash they introduce.
- Worked on end-effectors or comparable multi-DoF mechanisms, including grasp control and supporting sensing.
- Debugged at the fieldbus and OS layer: e.g. EtherCAT or CAN, on an RTOS or real-time Linux.
- Strong control theory foundation (linear/nonlinear control, stability, observers, state estimation, feedback/feedforward, filtering, frequency-domain analysis) applied to multi-DoF mechanisms via Jacobians, numerical IK/FK, and URDF/Xacro.
Nice to have:
- BLDC motor control (commutation, current control, torque optimization).
- ros2_control internals (hardware interfaces, controllers, controller_manager, plugins, lifecycle nodes).
- Tendon- or cable-driven mechanisms specifically, including pretension management, routing friction and wear behaviour.
- Tactile sensing integration; vacuum and suction tooling, including multi-cup arrays and grip-loss handling.
- System identification toolchains and simulation environments (MATLAB/Simulink, MuJoCo, Isaac Sim).
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Staff Robotics Control Engineer to join our Control Team in London and lead the evolution of whole-body control for our Wheeled Alpha platform - a humanoid whose whole body spans a wheeled base, torso and two arms, controlled as one coordinated system.
We need genuine depth in classical whole-body control. You should know hierarchical and weighted QP formulations from the inside - not as a library you have called, but as something you have derived, implemented, tuned, profiled and debugged on real hardware under demo pressure. You should have opinions about strict hierarchies versus soft-weighted stacks, regularisation and nullspace behaviour, what to do when a task set becomes infeasible, and how to keep a redundant system clear of singularities without it feeling sluggish. Alongside that depth, you will set technical direction and mentor a strong team of control engineers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Whole-Body Control Architecture & Algorithms:
- Lead the evolution of the Wheeled Alpha whole-body controller: task formulation, prioritisation, weighting, constraint handling and solver selection.
- Coordinate wheeled base, torso and dual-arm motion within a single whole-body formulation, with base motion that tracks commanded targets accurately and stays well-behaved under aggressive commands and long-duration operation.
- Own the constraint layer - self-collision avoidance, joint and velocity limit guarding, and singularity handling - plus feasibility handling and recovery when the solver fails.
- Drive the evolution toward predictive formulations: evaluate and develop MPC-based whole-body control where anticipating dynamics and constraints outperforms instantaneous QP resolution.
Dynamics, Compliance & Payload:
- Own the dynamic models the controller runs on - inertial, gravity and friction modelling, system identification, and online payload estimation - so the robot knows what it is carrying and controls accordingly.
- Advance compliance and force behaviour - impedance, admittance and force control that stays compliant at contact - and extend payload capability without sacrificing either.
- Own stability-aware behaviour under changing payload and dynamic motion
Safety Integration:
- Make whole-body control a first-class citizen of the safety architecture: the controller must accept and honour requests from dedicated safety compute - velocity capping, controlled deceleration, constrained operating envelopes - provably and without degrading motion quality.
- Co-own the controls-to-safety interface with the safety team, and design control behaviour so that safety interventions are graceful rather than abrupt.
Technical Leadership:
- Define the performance metrics for whole-body control and insist on deterministic, reproducible evaluation of every change, in simulation and on hardware.
- Mentor control engineers on optimisation-based control, numerical robustness and hardware debugging; act as reviewer of record for the most consequential changes.
- Work with hardware teams so control constraints and mechanical design decisions stay coherent.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in optimisation-based whole-body control: hierarchical and weighted QP formulations, task prioritisation, constraint handling, and the numerical realities of solving them inside a real-time loop.
- Strong command of the classical WBC toolkit - operational space and task-space control, inverse dynamics and IK formulations, redundancy resolution, nullspace projection, impedance and admittance control, contact and force control - and working knowledge of MPC formulations for whole-body or mobile-manipulation control.
- Deployed whole-body controllers on real high-DoF hardware (humanoids, mobile manipulators, dual-arm or legged platforms), including coordinating base and manipulator motion.
- Practical fluency with QP/NLP solvers and their failure modes: conditioning, infeasibility, warm starting, solve-time budgets, and what to do at the limit.
- Strong dynamic modelling foundations: rigid body kinematics/dynamics (Jacobians, dynamics formulations, URDF-based modelling), inertial and friction system identification, and payload/external-load estimation.
- Expert modern C++ for real-time control with Python for analysis and prototyping.
- Track record of taking control algorithms to production reliability rather than to a paper or a one-off demo, plus demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring.

Our Client's Digital Finance IT is building an AI-enablement layer on top of our enterprise data platform to enable business users across Finance to interact with governed data in natural language. We're hiring a
Data Enablement Engineer
to design, build, and operate the trusted datasets, semantic models, and embedded AI experiences that make this possible. This is a data platform engineering role, not a data science or model-building role. You will spend your time engineering the data foundation that makes AI reliable — semantic layers, governed data products, and embedded natural-language analytics — not training models.
What You'll Do
Design and build AI-ready data products on Databricks — trusted datasets with well-defined business semantics, KPIs, hierarchies, and business glossary alignment
Implement semantic layers and governed datasets that support both traditional BI consumption and natural-language querying by business users
Deploy and operate Databricks Genie spaces with Unity Catalog, tuning them for accuracy, adoption, and business relevance
Build RAG pipelines and conversational analytics applications grounded in governed enterprise data — including Streamlit or Databricks Apps that let business users query data without writing SQL
Engineer robust ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, PySpark) that produce and maintain the trusted data these AI experiences depend on
Implement data governance — RBAC, row/column-level security, masking, lineage, auditability, catalog and metadata management — in a regulated pharma environment
Optimize cost and performance on both the data platform side (warehouse sizing, cluster tuning, query optimization) and the AI side (token usage, caching, model routing)
Partner with Finance business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into semantic models and governed data products they can trust
Requirements
Must-Have Experience
5+ years hands-on data engineering on cloud data platforms — Databricks demonstrated in real project delivery, not skill-list-only
Direct hands-on experience with Databricks Genie — you have built, configured, and tuned these in production or advanced pilots, with specific reference to the flavors used (Genie spaces with semantic models)
Semantic layer / trusted data product delivery — you have built governed datasets that business users can rely on, with KPI definitions, hierarchies, and business glossary alignment
dbt, PySpark, SQL, Python — strong across the modern data stack
Orchestration with Airflow, Databricks Workflows, or equivalent
Data governance in regulated environments — RBAC, RLS, masking, lineage, auditability
Experience integrating structured and unstructured data (PDFs, SharePoint/Teams content, enterprise knowledge sources) into AI-enablement workflows
Nice to Have
Pharma, life sciences, or regulated financial services domain experience
Veeva CRM, IQVIA, SAP, or clinical data source integration
Streamlit or Databricks Apps for business-facing analytics
Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification
LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalent RAG frameworks
Cost optimization on both compute (warehouse/cluster) and LLM (tokens/caching/routing) dimensions
What We're NOT Looking For
Data Scientists
— this role is not model training, fine-tuning, LoRA/RLHF, or ML research
Pure Data Engineers

— wrong shape for this role
Responsibilities
Underwriting Framework and Credit Policy:
— Design the fund's underwriting framework from scratch: credit policy, underwriting standards, rating and scoring methodology, credit memo templates, and approval workflows — built for LP diligence from day one.
— Build the data edge into the process: integrate Xsolla's payments telemetry and game-revenue data into underwriting as a durable information advantage.
Deal Underwriting and Structuring:
— Lead the underwriting of lending facilities to game studios and gaming businesses: financial analysis, revenue durability, downside cases, and recovery analysis.
— Structure facilities: term loans, revolvers, royalty- and revenue-based structures — including covenants, collateral packages, borrowing bases, and pricing.
— Draft and negotiate term sheets and credit documentation with borrowers alongside external counsel.
Credit Committee and Governance:
— Stand up and run the credit committee process: present transactions, document decisions, and maintain an audit trail that stands up to LP and auditor scrutiny.
— Establish portfolio monitoring: watchlist discipline, covenant tracking, and a workout playbook as the portfolio builds.
LP Diligence and Fundraising Support:
— Be the credit face of the fund: appear in fund materials and LP meetings as the fund's credit authority; own underwriting answers in LP due diligence.
— Support capital formation: help shape the fund's risk-return narrative, portfolio construction guidelines, and track-record presentation.
Credit Playbook and Team Building:
— Codify the credit playbook: standards, templates, and documentation that make the fund's underwriting repeatable and audit-ready.
— Build the bench: as the fund scales, hire and mentor the junior credit team — analysts, associates, and in time a portfolio/risk officer.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
— 7+ years in private credit, direct lending, specialty finance, or leveraged finance, with personal responsibility for underwriting and closing institutional credit transactions.
— Experience at an early-stage or first-time credit fund — credit policy written from scratch, LPA input, first LP diligence — is strongly preferred.
— Lending against media, IP, royalties, recurring digital revenue, or gaming businesses is a strong plus.
— A track record you can walk LPs through: deals underwritten, structures used, and how they performed — including the ones that went wrong and what you did about it.
Skills and Competencies:
— Deep fluency in credit analysis, financial modeling, covenant design, collateral structures, and credit documentation.
— The gravitas to sit across from LPs, investment committees, and founders — and the judgment to say no to a deal.
— Enjoys mentoring junior team members and building a strong credit culture as the team grows.
— Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving team where you build the machine you then operate.
Education and Credentials:
— A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA and/or a CFA charter is preferred.
Benefits:
— 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans.
— Unlimited Flexible Time Off.
— Personalized career roadmap for each employee.
— Professional development through training and educational opportunities.
— Supportive environment prioritizing physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees and their families.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Safeguards organization builds the policies, evaluations, and enforcement systems that define and hold the limits on how Claude can be used. In this role, you'll own our conventional weapons work.
Defining a crisp boundary between acceptable and harmful requests in this domain is difficult, because the underlying components are dual-use: the same capabilities that serve civilian engineering and research can also contribute to a weapons system. Building the threat models, evaluations, and detection systems that hold that boundary is the core of this role.
Conventional weapons are increasingly defined by software, and the risks reach well beyond firearms: from a model operating a weapons system or writing guidance code, to the weaponization of dual-use platforms. The role spans every weapon class, up to autonomous systems that select and engage targets without human authorization.
You will help define the line between prohibited weapons development and legitimate research and engineering work, and how to operationalize the distinction. This will include translating technical judgment into principles that engineers can implement and enforcement teams can act on.
Key responsibilities
Own and maintain Anthropic's conventional weapons policy, defining the boundary between the activities our models should and should not support
Build the threat models and evaluations that measure how our models could contribute to weapons development, including the software and autonomy components that define modern weapons systems, and keep them current as the technology and its misuse evolve
Partner with engineering to turn the policy into model guardrails, detection systems, and enforcement tooling
Serve as the subject-matter expert for escalations involving conventional weapons content, including rapid response to emerging risks
Build shared understanding of the policy across product, engineering, legal, and leadership, communicating its reasoning to technical and non-technical audiences
Engage external experts as well as government and industry partners, and translate that engagement into stronger policy and enforcement
Minimum qualifications
Have deep, applied expertise in weapons systems and can translate complex technical evidence into sound policy judgments
Experience in a relevant setting, such as a service research laboratory, a defense research or innovation agency, or a company that designs or builds weapons systems
Can write clear, operationally precise policy and explain complex technical topics to non-specialist audiences
Understand the legal frameworks governing weapons and their transfer, and can craft policy that holds up across jurisdictions
Can do rigorous technical analysis of weapons systems using only open sources
Are comfortable with ambiguity and drawn to problems that have no established playbook
Are motivated by preventing misuse without obstructing the legitimate work in the field
Preferred qualifications
A working understanding of machine learning and large language model fundamentals
Hands-on engineering experience in a weapons-relevant technical domain, such as systems engineering, robotics and autonomy, guidance/navigation/control, sensors and signal processing, aerospace or mechanical engineering, materials and energetics, or embedded software
Hands-on experience applying arms export controls (ITAR/EAR) or international arms-control regimes
Experience building or evaluating classifiers, including LLM-based ones, and reasoning about precision and recall for rare, high-consequence categories
Trust & safety or product policy experience at a technology platform
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$245,000
—
$285,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
We’re looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to help scale Sierra’s internal systems during a critical period of growth. You’ll be the second member of our IT Engineering team, partnering closely with our IT Lead, GRC Lead, and Platform Engineering team to build and operate the systems that support our company day-to-day.
This is an engineering-first role. Our team approaches IT the same way product engineering teams build software: through code, automation, and well-designed systems. We build internal tools, ship integrations, and operate CI/CD-style workflows to manage identity, security, and infrastructure at scale.
This is a foundational role with significant ownership. You’ll help design and implement core infrastructure, strengthen security controls, and improve how we operate internally. The right person enjoys building high-leverage systems, automating repetitive work, and creating well-documented, scalable solutions that make the entire company more effective.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In your first few months, you’ll focus on:
- Iterating on and improving internal tools that power IT and security workflows
- Deploying a DLP solution and integrating it into automated enforcement pipelines
- Building API-driven integrations between internal systems and our compliance automation platform
More broadly, you will:
- Design and scale internal infrastructure using code and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Build and maintain internal tools and services
- Improve and develop automation pipelines for provisioning, access management, and security controls
- Treat IT systems like software: versioned, tested, and continuously improved
- Partner with Platform Engineering and Security to implement scalable, programmatic solutions
- Create clear, durable documentation to support long-term scalability
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Think of IT problems as engineering problems, and default to building over manual work
- Have strong experience with identity platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, SSO, MFA, SCIM, OIDC)
- Have deployed or managed DLP or related security solutions (e.g., ZTNA, Cloudflare)
- Have extensive experience with IaC (Terraform)
- Are comfortable writing code for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
- Have experience building internal tools or services that integrate via APIs
- Are comfortable working with CI/CD concepts and automation pipelines
- Are fluent in using and administering modern AI tooling
- Understand SaaS lifecycle management and compliance requirements
- Communicate clearly and document your systems well
- Are comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment
EVEN BETTER...
- Background in software engineering or prior experience on a product engineering team
- Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling
- Familiarity with security tooling such as CASB, EDR, or MDM
- Experience with access audits, data residency, or compliance controls
- Experience deploying systems using AWS and infrastructure-as-code
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
WHAT WE OFFER
We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot
- Lunch, as well as delicious snacks and coffee to keep you energized
- Discretionary benefit stipend giving people the ability to spend where it matters most
- Free alphorn lessons
These benefits are further detailed in Sierra's policies, may vary by region, and are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefits plans. Eligible full-time employees can participate in Sierra's equity plans subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
BE YOU, WITH US
We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an IT Support Specialist in New York, you'll be the hands-on, on-the-ground owner of day-to-day IT for one of our fastest-growing offices. You'll be the first person teammates turn to when something isn't working, and the person who makes sure hardware, conference rooms, and the office network simply work. This is a role for someone who thrives in execution mode and enjoys solving problems quickly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- IT Support: Serve as the first line of defense for employee IT issues in New York, with deep focus on macOS troubleshooting, application support, and network connectivity.
- Global Support Queue: Share responsibility for Sierra's global IT helpdesk queue during your regional working hours: triage new requests, resolve issues across offices, keep ownership clear, coordinate escalation, and provide clean cross-time-zone handoffs.
- Technical User Support: Support engineers and other highly technical teammates with curiosity and confidence, using logs, command-line tools, and clear written communication when appropriate.
- AI-Assisted Troubleshooting: Use approved AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, hypothesis generation, and documentation while protecting sensitive data and independently validating consequential recommendations.
- Hardware Management: Own the full device lifecycle locally—procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, loaner pool oversight, and device re-provisioning for offboarded users.
- AV & Conference Rooms: Keep every room meeting-ready. Maintain and troubleshoot conference room AV, proactively test rooms, and own the peripheral and accessory inventory.
- Office Build-Out & Moves: Partner with Facilities, our project managers, and AV integrators to spec, stage, and commission IT and AV for our new New York space, and support the move from our current location.
- Network & Vendor Coordination: Triage office network and connectivity issues, then drive them to resolution with our ISP, network, and building vendors.
- IT Onboarding: Set up laptops and essential software for new hires, delivering a seamless first-day experience.
- SaaS Administration: Handle routine administration in Okta, Google Workspace, and other core applications, including users and groups, app assignments, access changes, licensing, and basic audit-log review.
- IT Projects: Take on well-scoped endpoint, SaaS, access, inventory, or workplace technology projects with clear success criteria, appropriate review, testing, documentation, and rollback planning.
- Process Improvement: Look beyond the immediate ticket, respectfully challenge inefficient or fragile practices, propose practical improvements, and help implement and document better ways of working.
- IT Logistics: Support software installs, device shipments to East Coast teammates, repair and warranty coordination, and proactive hardware refresh planning.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience: 2-5 years in hands-on IT support or systems administration, with strong macOS experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with endpoint management and MDM systems (e.g., Jamf), identity tooling (e.g., Okta), and troubleshooting across Mac hardware and software.
- SaaS Foundations: Hands-on experience with basic Okta, Google Workspace, or comparable SaaS administration and a desire to grow into broader systems ownership.
- Engineering Environment: Experience supporting engineers or other highly technical users, or clear evidence that you can communicate credibly, work from technical evidence, and learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
- Troubleshooting Judgment: A structured, hypothesis-driven approach; strong follow-through; and the judgment to recognize uncertainty, seek review, or escalate before a risky change.
- Queue Ownership: Able to manage competing requests in a shared global queue, communicate priorities, maintain accurate status, and carry issues through resolution or a clear handoff.
- Continuous Improvement: Curious about why work is done a certain way and comfortable constructively challenging the status quo with specific, practical recommendations.
- AV & Network Fluency: Practical troubleshooting of conference room AV and office networking fundamentals—Wi-Fi, DHCP, VLANs—and the judgment to know when to escalate to a vendor.
- Organization: Highly organized with a systems-oriented mindset—able to track devices, accessories, and inventory accurately across multiple offices.
- Execution Focused: Bias for action and the ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and follow through without constant direction, while knowing when to seek review or escalate.
- Communication: Friendly, clear communicator who can help teammates quickly and patiently—whether they're in-office or remote.
- Work model: This role is based in our New York office, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
EVEN BETTER…
- Experience supporting an office build-out, relocation, or new-site commissioning from the IT and AV side.
- Familiarity with Zoom Rooms and hardware such as Neat, Logitech, or Poly.
- Past experience with Apple Business Manager or zero-touch deployment tools.
- Passion for documentation, process improvement, and enabling others to solve simple issues themselves.
- Change-Control Exposure: Familiarity with version control, peer review, staged rollout, rollback planning, infrastructure or configuration as code, or other disciplined change practices.
- Automation: Experience using APIs, scripts, Terraform, or similar tools to make routine administration safer and more repeatable.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Channel Partner Manager for Korea, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling strategic partnerships with both System Integrators (SIs) and resellers to accelerate the adoption of our solutions in the Korean market. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and Korea's unique business ecosystem, helping partners integrate our products into their solution portfolios and joint go-to-market strategies.
As a Channel Partner Manager, you will focus on growing the partner Anthropic reseller and services business in Korea and achieving quarterly revenue and partner attach targets through new customers and upsells. Strong business creation skills are needed to identify joint value propositions and explore co-selling models. Much of the process for running the channel in Korea doesn't exist yet, and building it will be a large part of the job in the first year. While revenue contribution is the key metric, building scalable partner engagement and executing joint initiatives are crucial for consistent growth.
This is an early role in a new market for a program we expect to grow well beyond its first two countries. The habits you establish with our first partners in Korea will shape how the program works everywhere else.
Key responsibilities

Own deal registration and pipeline discipline with partners, making sure registrations are submitted and validated, conflicts are cleared, and named end-customer reporting is complete on every deal
Forecast and report partner pipeline and performance against the quarterly revenue and partner attach targets, and own the Korea channel number with the central program team
Negotiate resale agreements and commercial terms with partners alongside the central program team and Legal
Co-sell with the local account team on partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities, and manage direct versus partner conflict as deals arise
Develop and execute business plans with System Integrators and strategic resellers to drive mutual growth and revenue targets

Anthropic is building and securing data center capacity at an unprecedented pace, and the power and cooling equipment that goes into those sites — switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, busway, chillers, CDUs, air handlers, pumps and piping skids — is long-lead, high-value, and unforgiving of defects. A single nonconformance discovered at site can cost weeks of schedule.
We're hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own quality at the source: inside our OEMs' and integrators' factories. You will qualify suppliers, define acceptance criteria, witness factory acceptance tests, drive corrective action to closure, and make sure equipment leaves the factory complete, conforming, documented, and ready to install. You are the person who catches the problem in Ohio before it becomes a problem in Texas.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role on the Compute DC Infrastructure team, partnering daily with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Construction, and Commissioning. It is not a supplier-relationship-management role and not a people-management role — the emphasis is technical quality engineering at manufacturing facilities.
What You'll Do
Supplier qualification and readiness
Lead quality qualification of new and existing suppliers of power and cooling equipment, including on-site process audits, capability assessments, and manufacturing readiness reviews (MRRs) ahead of production release.
Translate Anthropic engineering specifications into supplier-facing quality requirements: inspection and test plans (ITPs), acceptance criteria, witness/hold points, and documentation deliverables.
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to embed quality requirements, Supplier Quality Agreements, and FAT/documentation expectations into RFPs and contracts.
Factory acceptance and in-process quality
Plan, witness, and sign off factory acceptance tests (FATs) for electrical gear (switchgear, UPS, transformers, gensets, busway, PDUs) and mechanical systems (chillers, CDUs, CRAH/fan walls, dry coolers, pumps, piping skids), including functional, performance, and integrated-system testing.
Conduct in-process and pre-shipment inspections at supplier facilities; verify build-to-print conformance, workmanship, labeling, and traceability.
Review and approve supplier test reports, quality data packages, and turnover documentation; ensure equipment ships complete and installation-ready.
Nonconformance and corrective action
Own the nonconformance (NCR) and deviation process for factory-found issues; lead containment, disposition, and root-cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and fault-tree methods.
Drive supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to verified closure with measurable, sustained improvement.
Investigate field-reported defects that trace back to manufacturing, and feed lessons learned into supplier requirements, ITPs, and future RFPs.
Metrics and continuous improvement
Define and track supplier quality KPIs — first-pass FAT yield, defect rate, NCR aging, on-time documentation, supplier scorecards — and report them in quarterly supplier business reviews.
Apply SPC and statistical analysis to supplier process data to identify systemic risk before it reaches a FAT.
Help build the quality framework for a rapidly scaling, multi-supplier, multi-region equipment pipeline — templates, checklists, audit standards, and the operating rhythm around them.
Who You Are
6–10+ years of quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or supplier quality experience in electrical or mechanical equipment manufacturing, mission-critical infrastructure, or a comparable regulated/high-consequence industry.
Hands-on experience with at least one side of the data center equipment stack — medium/low-voltage switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, busway, or chillers, CDUs, air handlers, pumps — and the curiosity to come up to speed fast on the other.
Proven record planning and witnessing FATs and conducting supplier audits, with the judgment to know when to hold a shipment and when to accept with deviation.
Deep fluency in structured problem-solving and quality tools: 8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, control plans, PPAP or equivalent.
Able to read electrical one-lines, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings and check a build against them.
Strong technical writing — you produce ITPs, audit reports, and NCR packages that stand on their own.
Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ambiguity, and communicating clearly to engineers, suppliers, and leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with hyperscale or AI data center equipment supply chains, or with OFCI (owner-furnished, contractor-installed) delivery models.
Familiarity with liquid-cooling systems (CDUs, manifolds, quick disconnects) and the cleanliness, pressure, and leak-test regimes they require.
Working knowledge of relevant standards: UL 891/1558/1778, IEEE C37, NEMA, AHRI 550/590, ASHRAE 90.4, ASME B31.x, ISO 9001 auditing.
ASQ CQE/CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or lead-auditor certification.
Experience standing up a supplier quality function or QMS from a small base.
Proficiency with QMS/ERP platforms and data tools (SQL, Power BI, or similar).

What We Look for In You (Required Qualifications):
- 5-8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Software Pre-Sales.

Anthropic's Tax team is hiring a Tax Director to own the company's global income tax provision and US income tax compliance function. This is a core operational leadership role: you will run the quarterly and annual ASC 740 close, manage the co-sourced compliance program, and build the processes, controls, and team that keep both scaling with the company.
What makes this seat unusual is what flows through it. Anthropic is deploying capital into compute and data center infrastructure at a scale and pace with few precedents, alongside an active program of acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments — and every one of those transactions lands in the provision and the returns. We prefer candidates who bring familiarity and hands-on experience with complex M&A and infrastructure transactions on top of the core provision and compliance skill set: someone who can own the tax purchase price allocation workpapers, write the technical memo on a novel financing or lease structure, and then carry that answer correctly through the ASC 740 close and into the compliance workstream.
Key responsibilities
Own the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision: current and deferred computations, effective tax rate reconciliation, deferred tax inventory and valuation allowance assessments, stock-based compensation, uncertain tax positions, and return-to-provision true-ups
Own the tax journal entries, account reconciliations, income tax footnote and disclosures, and the supporting workpapers and SOX controls; manage the financial statement audit relationship with our Big 4 auditors
Coordinate the international components of the provision with the team and outside advisors, and drive continuous improvement in close speed and quality
Manage the US federal and state income tax compliance program, working with our co-sourced Big 4 providers: returns, estimated payments and extensions, elections and disclosures, and the compliance calendar
Own cash tax forecasting and support tax authority notices, examinations, and audit defense
Drive automation and tax technology adoption across the provision and compliance processes, including AI tooling
Own tax purchase price allocation workpapers for acquisitions: taxable vs. nontaxable characterization, ASC 805 opening balance sheet deferred taxes, goodwill component analysis, and reconciliation to the tax basis balance sheet — plus tax diligence, structuring, and integration (reorganization qualification, equity compensation in deals, Section 382, transaction costs, stub period returns)
Analyze data center and compute infrastructure arrangements — lease classification, sale-leasebacks, Section 467 rent schedules, build-out cost recovery — and the financing structures around them: debt vs. equity characterization, prepayments, vendor financing, warrants and equity instruments in commercial agreements, and joint venture formations and buyouts
Prepare and review technical memos documenting positions for auditors and leadership, and model the cash tax and effective tax rate consequences of proposed structures for Corp Dev, Finance, and Legal while deals are being negotiated
Mentor and develop tax team members and help build the function as the company grows
Manage outside advisors on opinions, studies, and valuations, and own those budgets and relationships
Minimum qualifications
Have substantial experience managing a corporate tax function in the multinational software and technology industry, including hands-on experience running the income tax provision and compliance processes, with a combination of Big 4 public accounting and in-house tax department experience
Have owned the full ASC 740 provision cycle at a multinational company — not just reviewed pieces of it — including deferred taxes, valuation allowance judgments, uncertain tax positions, footnote and disclosures, SOX controls, and auditor management
Have managed a US federal and state income tax compliance program at scale, including co-sourced arrangements with Big 4 providers
Bring familiarity and hands-on experience with complex M&A transactions — tax purchase price allocations, ASC 805 opening balance sheet accounting, diligence and structuring — and ideally experience with infrastructure leases, build-outs, and the financing arrangements behind them
Write clear, well-organized technical memos that hold up with Big 4 auditors, and can explain the same issue in plain terms to non-tax partners
Hold a CPA; a Master's in Taxation or LLM is a plus
Thrive on novel fact patterns and ambiguity, and default to building the workpaper and writing the position down rather than waiting for a template
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity and experience with data center or similar capital-intensive infrastructure transactions — hyperscaler-scale compute, energy, or telecom deals, project finance, or joint venture structures
Experience analyzing warrants, convertible instruments, or other equity components embedded in commercial and supply agreements, and debt-equity analysis for intercompany and third-party financing
An interest in applying AI tools to tax workflows

LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
