But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
As a Platform Engineer (AI & Automation) at OnePay, you are the technical force responsible for transforming AI strategy into production reality. You will embed within cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy the agentic systems and intelligent tooling that automate complex workflows and 10X their impact.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate as an AI-native engineer, utilizing tools like Cursor and Claude Code to rapidly prototype, deploy, and ship production-grade AI agents and automation workflows that solve high-stakes business problems in cross-functional organizations.
- Lead structured discovery sessions with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to surface requirements, assess feasibility, and translate manual processes into clear, performant technical specifications and agentic architectures.
- Build, maintain, and secure robust integrations between the core SaaS stack and custom AI services, instrumenting monitoring, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks to ensure all AI-driven workflows are accurate, compliant (including PII handling and audit logging), and resilient at scale.
- Act as a technical force multiplier by empowering and educating internal partners to adopt AI-first mindsets, and create reusable playbooks, architecture decision records, and handoff documentation to enable teams to maintain and extend what you build.
YOU BRING
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience shipping production code to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Hands-on expertise with modern AI tooling, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks (LangGraph, Claude SDK), developer tools (Cursor/Claude Code), MCP server development, and familiarity with LLM evaluation techniques (prompt regression testing, human-in-the-loop review, and automated eval pipelines).
- Systems integration experience, including a working knowledge of REST APIs, data pipelines (SQL), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
- A "Product Mindset"—proactively finding friction points, designing solutions, and presenting trade-offs to all audiences—along with the drive and proactivity to "walk across org lines" to get things done.
TOOLS WE USE
We use Typescript front to back, with node and NestJS frameworks for server code and React Native for our iOS, Android, and Web clients. We run on a highly distributed cloud-native stack with Kubernetes and AWS, and scale and resiliency are at the heart of everything we build. We also embrace agentic development, so engineers have their choice of a variety of models and agent harnesses, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT | LATAM
Our Solutions Architecture team connects business priorities with practical technical solutions, helping customers understand how Chainalysis can support their most important objectives.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership throughout the customer journey. You will turn complex requirements into clear recommendations, help customers envision how our products fit into their operating environment, and guide them toward measurable business outcomes.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll develop a deep understanding of Chainalysis solutions and the problems our customers are trying to solve. You'll explain complex concepts in a clear, compelling way to technical practitioners, business leaders, and executive stakeholders. You'll also build practical, customer-specific solutions that support deployment, integration, adoption, and long-term value.
In this role, you'll:
- Serve as a core member of the account team, partnering closely with Sales, Services, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
- Take ownership of customer outcomes across the full lifecycle, from initial discovery and solution design through investigation support, compliance program delivery, deployment, enablement, adoption, and expansion.
- Lead discovery conversations that uncover customer objectives, operational pain points, use cases, technical constraints, and success criteria.
- Translate business and operational needs into clear technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation paths.
- Articulate Chainalysis capabilities in a way that is relevant to each customer's compliance, risk, fraud, investigations, or security environment.
- Create tailored demonstrations, proof-of-value experiences, and technical narratives that show how Chainalysis can address customer priorities.
- Conduct blockchain investigations, deliver compliance and regulatory guidance, and build technical solutions such as notebooks, dashboards, automation workflows, data integrations, reference architectures, and agentic workflows.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows that accelerate and automate investigations, analysis, and customer processes, adapted to each customer's operating model, data, controls, and risk framework.
- Design automation that fits into existing compliance, risk, fraud, investigations, or security operations rather than requiring customers to redesign how they work.
- Help customers access and operationalize Chainalysis data through APIs, integrations, and fit-for-purpose technical patterns.
- Provide guidance on solution architecture, API implementation, workflow design, data movement, and integration considerations.
- Drive platform adoption by connecting customer workflows to Chainalysis capabilities and identifying new use cases.
- Identify creative, responsible approaches to difficult customer problems, while balancing speed, scalability, security, maintainability, and measurable impact.
- Build trust through sound technical judgment, clear communication, reliable execution, and a strong understanding of the customer's business.
- Assemble the technical evidence base, including outcome data, consumption metrics, adoption analysis, and expansion signals, that supports quarterly impact reporting and renewal conversations.
- Build customer capability and self-sufficiency rather than creating ongoing dependence on the Solutions Architecture team.
- Own the feedback loop between customers and Product/Engineering, translating field insights and feature requirements into product improvements and bringing those improvements back to customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, meeting them at their current level of crypto-maturity and partnering with them to advance their understanding, processes, and outcomes.
- Represent Chainalysis at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
- Contribute to the wider Solutions Architecture team through reusable assets, knowledge sharing, internal initiatives, and better ways of working.
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Several years of experience in one or more relevant areas, such as financial services, compliance, investigations, fraud, cybersecurity, digital assets, transaction monitoring, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or enterprise product management.
- Experience making complex technical or operational concepts understandable to different audiences.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- A creative, structured, and investigative approach to solving challenging customer problems.
- Comfort working with technical tools and learning new technologies quickly. Experience with Python or another programming language, SQL, data analysis, notebooks, workflow automation, APIs, integrations, or AI tools is valuable.
- The curiosity and initiative to develop technical depth over time; you do not need to arrive with a complete technical stack, but you should enjoy investigating how things work and building the skills to solve new problems.
- The ability to operate effectively when requirements are ambiguous, information is incomplete, or the best path forward has not yet been defined.
- A collaborative, generous approach to working with others, including a willingness to share knowledge, seek input, and improve team practices.
- A demonstrated focus on measurable customer outcomes, not simply technical activity or product usage.
- An interest in blockchain and a desire to keep building your understanding of the technology, the market, and the customers we serve.
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
The Safeguards ML Sampling Path team builds and operates the production services that power Claude's safety systems. These services sit on the token generation path across every platform Claude runs on: every request must pass through them, and each millisecond of added latency is wait time for our users. You’ll keep p99 latency flat as traffic grows, build for robustness as dependencies time out or partially fail, and ship changes safely to a system that cannot go down.
What you'll do:
Design, build, and operate the backend systems that process every token on the generation path for Claude requests, including the streaming contract with the API and inference engines.
Own latency and reliability end to end: define and maintain SLOs and error budgets for added latency, time-to-first-token, and availability, and lead incident response and postmortem follow-through.
Ship changes to the hot path rapidly but safely — canaried and gradual rollouts, error budget and latency gating, fast rollbacks — and drive per-token performance: chase tail latency and keep cost flat as traffic, models, and checks per request grow.
Set technical direction for the sampling path: lead design reviews, make latency, reliability, and cost trade-off calls with the inference and research teams, mentor engineers, and raise the operational bar for the wider Safeguards organization.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have designed, built, and operated high QPS systems at global scale, and were accountable for them in production: incident response, outages, and postmortem-driven remediation.
Have a strong foundation in distributed systems: replication, consistency tradeoffs, failure modes, and SLO management under load.
Design systems for graceful degradation: you plan for a slow dependency, a dropped stream, or a half-rolled-out deploy before it happens, and build so the system degrades predictably instead of failing.
Have successfully shipped broad or all-encompassing changes to mission critical systems (e.g., database migrations, interface changes, rewrites).
Strong candidates may also have:
8+ years of industry software engineering experience.
Familiarity with LLM inference systems and transformer-based models (not required, but a plus).
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI https://higgsfield.ai is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We’re building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn’t just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
A very large share of Higgsfield’s capital goes into compute. GPU procurement, deal economics, the financial planning around it — today that entire function effectively sits on one person’s desk.
We’re not hiring someone to explain the business to the board. We’re hiring someone to drive $100M+ strategic deals end to end: find them, model them, negotiate them, close them, and own what happens after. The financial work matters because it’s how you win a deal and how you know it was worth winning — not because someone needs a deck.
This is the largest line in our cost base and the surface area is enormous, so you’re in company-level decisions from week one. What the role demands is energy and complete ownership. Nobody hands you a process, a pipeline or a mandate here. You take them.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own GPU and compute economics
- Engage and maintain relationships post-deal close, leading delivery of strategic, co-owned initiatives (e.g., co-marketing, case studies, presence at events/conferences, etc.
- Become one of the most knowledgeable people in the world on the GPU and AI-compute market: pricing, supply, contract structures, who is building what and at what cost. Through research, and through showing up in person.
- Source, structure and negotiate compute and infrastructure agreements — capacity commitments, long-term supply, colocation, energy-linked deals.
- Build the cost models that say whether a deal is good, and challenge the ones that say it is.
Build and challenge the financial picture
- Build and stress-test P&L and FP&A models at company level.
- Own forecasting for the largest line in our cost base.
- Work directly with the CEO and the co-founders on the development strategy and financial planning.
Shape major strategic deals
- Model the economics of large partnerships and identify where the value actually sits.
- Translate commercial decisions into a financial story leadership, the board and investors can act on.
REQUIREMENTS
- McKinsey / BCG / Bain-type background, or equivalent depth from corporate finance, investment banking, infrastructure PE, or a strategic-finance role at a fast-scaling company. Consulting alumni at Engagement Manager / Principal level and above.
- You can build a three-statement model, an FP&A forecast and a deal case yourself — and find the error in someone else’s.
- You understand the economics of large strategic deals: capacity, offtake, TCO, capex versus opex, contract structure.
- At least 3 years working in international markets — at a global company, or in a role where you owned deals or operations across multiple countries.
- Able to become a genuine domain expert fast, from a standing start, on something technical.
- Heavy international travel. The GPU market is a relationship market and it does not happen online.
- Fluent English and Russian.
Nice to have
- A technical or quantitative undergraduate degree — engineering, physics, applied maths, CS — underneath the commercial track.
- Procurement, supply-chain or capacity-planning exposure at real scale.
- Time at a cloud, GPU, data centre, semiconductor or energy company, including on the commercial side.
- You’ve already made the jump from consulting or banking into an operating role at a startup.
COMING FROM THE COMPUTE SIDE INSTEAD?
If you’ve bought or sold GPU capacity at a cloud, neocloud, data centre or hardware company and you can hold your own on the numbers, this is your role too. We care that you know the market and can move a deal, not which chair you sat in while you learned it.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary in USD, based on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
- Equity participation through the company’s stock option program, giving you the opportunity to share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.
- Relocation support for candidates moving from another city or country.
- A highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can work directly with experienced leaders and have a meaningful impact on the product and company.
- Opportunities for professional growth, ownership, and career development as the company scales.
- Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation, and other office benefits.
Location: Almaty or San Francisco (onsite), with heavy international travel and regular trips to the other hub. Our team works from the office six days per week. We believe in-person collaboration is an important part of how we move quickly, solve complex problems, and build strong teams.
Also hiring: GM, International Partnerships — same seniority, focused on enterprise B2B partnerships and commercial execution across verticals. If your background is commercial rather than analytical, apply there https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/higgsfieldai/a89ac4c2-176b-44c0-9192-f6c16d786ea7 instead.

Design, build, and maintain Go-based automation that manages the full PostgreSQL lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, failover, scaling, and decommissioning, reducing reactive operational work that currently takes more than 80% of the team's time.
Build automation that works across infrastructure-as-code tooling and cloud infrastructure, and evaluate operator-based approaches as the platform evolves.
Use AI agents as a regular part of building and operating services, including implementation, review, and reducing repetitive work, while keeping the context agents need in the repository so the whole team can build on it.
Build for internet scale by designing automation and services for high-throughput, always-on production workloads, where GitLab.com traffic sets the bar for correctness, latency, and availability.
Integrate compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, and managed data services across cloud providers into one coherent PostgreSQL platform instead of creating bespoke setups for each database.
Build GitLab's PostgreSQL as a service platform to replace bespoke database setups with standardized, automated provisioning and lifecycle management, so supporting more databases doesn't require growing the operations team at the same rate.
Collaborate closely with product management, infrastructure, software delivery, and other engineering teams to design and ship high-performing solutions.
Research, design, and implement improvements to PostgreSQL performance, scalability, and data health, helping maintain more than 8 months of operational runway for all critical database saturation points.
Review database automation and Go changes from other engineers and contributors, with attention to safety, maintainability, and performance.
Document automation practices, PostgreSQL operational patterns, and guidance that helps engineers use and contribute to the platform.
Build safe, repeatable automation for PostgreSQL major version upgrades at GitLab.com scale, validating changes against real production traffic before rollout.
Operate what you build in production from end to end, using production feedback to guide each iteration.
What you’ll bring
Professional software engineering experience working with PostgreSQL in large, complex production environments, including experience building or operating a database-as-a-service product.
Proficiency with Go, including designing, implementing, testing, and reviewing backend services.
Experience developing Kubernetes operators, controllers, or similar automation for the lifecycle of stateful services, especially databases. Kubernetes experience is one way to demonstrate this skill, but isn't required; comparable experience building database or infrastructure automation is welcome.
Comfort with infrastructure as code and core database operations concepts such as high availability, replication, backups, and system-level performance trade-offs.
Familiarity with Ruby is a plus but isn't required. Much of GitLab's application codebase uses Ruby on Rails, and being able to read it helps when designing automation that application teams depend on. We’ll expect you to become comfortable with it on the job, not on day one.
Strong written communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in an all-remote, distributed team.
Self-directed work style with effective organizational skills, the ability to manage priorities as a "manager of one," and alignment with GitLab's values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, and open source contribution, as well as its
operating principles
.
Ownership of the technical direction for a major initiative such as the PostgreSQL as a service platform, turning an ambiguous problem into an architecture and a sequenced plan that several engineers can execute in parallel.
Influence beyond the team, setting the patterns other engineers follow, partnering with sibling database, infrastructure, and platform teams, and growing engineers through design reviews and mentorship.

Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI https://higgsfield.aiis the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
Higgsfield has grown roughly 35x in the last twelve months. 390 of the Fortune 500 are already on the product, and the adoption patterns look like nothing that came before — teams find us, adopt us and expand without anyone selling to them. That’s what an AI-native product does, and it’s how the company is built: small teams, no inherited process, decisions made in hours rather than quarters.
The opportunity now is to take that industry by industry. Advertising. Entertainment. Gaming. Retail. E-commerce. Each one is a category where a single person can go in, land the anchor accounts and own the vertical outright.
We’re hiring hunters for that. Not account managers working inbound — people who pick a vertical, build the target list themselves, and take it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own global B2B partnerships
- Drive the full partnership lifecycle end to end — sourcing, pitching, structuring, negotiating and closing deals with international partners.
- Build and scale the partnerships pipeline across key markets. You own the target list, not just the deals handed to you.
- This role travels: partners, in their market, in person.
Lead commercial execution
- Own revenue targets and deliver against multi-million-dollar goals.
- Structure complex deals, paid pilots and multi-year strategic agreements.
- Restart stalled deals because you decided to, not because a process told you to.
Shape strategy and go-to-market
- Identify high-value use cases with partners and translate Higgsfield’s capabilities into outcomes they can defend inside their own organisation.
- Design partnership models, pricing structures and GTM approaches from scratch.
- Switch verticals fast — a media holding this month, a consumer brand the next, a platform after that.
Own accounts and grow them
- Build durable relationships at C-level with founders, operators and decision-makers.
- Drive expansion, upsell and new revenue streams inside existing accounts.
- Carry the full commercial picture: what a deal books and what it costs us to serve.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in enterprise sales, business development or partnerships, closing complex multi-million-dollar deals you personally sourced and negotiated.
- At least 3 years working in international markets — at a global company, or in a role where you owned deals or operations across multiple countries.
- Experience at a company that scaled aggressively, where daily progress was expected and intensity was normal.
- You hold both sides of the business in your head. You can say what a partnership earns and what it costs to deliver in the same sentence.
- Comfortable with almost no structure. You’ll get context and access, not process.
- Heavy international travel.
- Fluent English and Russian.
Nice to have
- Sold into enterprise media, advertising, entertainment or consumer brands.
- Ran a P&L, a market or a vertical as a GM or country lead.
- Broke into an international agency or global commercial organisation as a non-native speaker.
WHAT WE WEIGH OVER BRAND NAMES
We optimise for intensity and ownership. Three deals you actually built beats a decorated CV of roles you inherited, and a thin LinkedIn profile is not a problem here — several of our strongest people have one. If your best work isn’t visible online, tell us about it in your application.
Also hiring: GM, Strategic Partnerships — same seniority, focused on GPU and compute economics, financial planning and investor-facing strategy. If your background leans consulting or corporate finance, or you come from the cloud and compute world, apply there https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/higgsfieldai/00807c29-404b-4267-9089-40f031bfc6d1 instead.

- Fluent with modern AI tools and workflows, actively using AI to improve your work and understanding how AI is changing enterprise software, customer engagement, and partnership models; thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning strategy into repeatable execution.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience supporting and scaling strategic partnership programs across product and technology partnerships, cloud ecosystems, systems integrators, strategic alliances, or channel networks, ideally in a high-growth global environment.
- Experience working across enterprise software ecosystems and partners such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Stripe, Twilio, Snowflake, Databricks, or large global systems integrators, with familiarity across PRM, CRM, partner enablement, learning management, and collaboration platforms.
- Technical and AI ecosystem experience, including AI platforms, developer tools, or enterprise software, with prior software development, solutions engineering, or technical implementation experience a plus.
OUR VALUES

We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking an execution-focused and visionary Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform Team. Proficiency with technologies such as Temporal, Apache iceberg, AWS glue, Spark, DBT, and Soda
Exhibits strong ownership and a proactive mindset, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, actionable technical roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced startup environments, with a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to organizational success
Preference for managing healthcare data standards (e.g. HIPAA, EDI)
A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
Technologies we use:
Python, Spark, dbt, SnowFlake, Iceberg, Airflow, OpenMetadata, Kubernetes, NATS, AWS, Terraform, Claude Code
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
What you'll get here:
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Compensation Transparency:
The target salary range for this position is $310,000 - $385,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. What you will do:
Own the reliability, performance, functionality, and cost-efficiency of Garner's production ML systems, including establishing SLOs, observability, and on-call responsibilities.
Architect Garner's ML platform including required data infrastructure (including feature store, model registry and CI/CD for models), and standardized service patterns.
Implement ML-specific CI/CD pipelines: Transition our deployment process from manual notebook hand-offs to automated, PR-driven CI/CD workflows that include automated data quality checks and statistical model validation prior to deployment.
Drive down cost and latency through improved architecture, hardware choices, and model optimization as appropriate.
Lay the foundation for a future Garner MLOps team, including workflows, standards, and KPIs that enables rapid teammate onboarding and helps stakeholders and teammates quickly identify the health of the team’s products, allowing engineers to focus on areas where issues reside
Establish Drift Monitoring: Design and implement automated data drift and concept drift monitoring systems that alert the team when models degrade, laying the groundwork for future Continuous Training (CT) architectures
The ideal candidate has:
7+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time spent operating ML or data-intensive systems in production at scale.
Deep experience with the modern ML production stack: model serving (e.g., Sagemaker, Triton, or equivalent), feature stores, model registries, and CI/CD for ML.
Strong infrastructure and platform engineering fundamentals: Kubernetes, containerization, cloud (AWS preferred), Terraform/IaC, observability, and incident response.
Experience designing ML platforms or significant components of one (not strictly consuming SaaS) and the judgment to know when to build vs. buy.
Strong collaboration with ML, data, platform engineers, data scientists, and product engineering teams, with the ability to set technical direction as the most senior MLOps voice in the org.
