ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Director of Marketing who is a sharp strategic storyteller and a hands-on operator to join our Advertising & Rewards division. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to own positioning and go-to-market at the intersection of several high-growth opportunities: a B2B advertising business, a B2C rewards app, a zero-party data and rewards platform, an on-chain identity and attribution layer, and a major strategic brand initiative.
Strong narrative development, messaging, and launch GTM skills are essential, along with experience turning complex, multi-product technology into clear, compelling stories for very different audiences — game developers, app marketers, and brand advertisers. The ability to build go-to-market from the ground up, owning positioning and enablement end to end, will be key to your success in this role.
If you’re passionate about crafting stories that make emerging technology click for buyers and love helping game developers and brands connect with players through advertising and rewards, we would love to hear from you!

Act as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across every workstream.
Provide thought leadership on narrative development, competitive positioning, and content strategy as the portfolio and brand initiative scale.

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role owns the partnerships behind how we reward Wealthsimple clients for their everyday spend and deepen their relationship with us. You'll own our perks and rewards ecosystem end to end: credit card partnerships, Milestone Rewards, Wealthsimple Offers, and the credit card cashback marketplace. The job is to turn these programs into a reason clients bring more of their financial lives to us, measured in adoption, consolidation, and engagement. You'll source, negotiate, and launch partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the country, and you'll build a lot of it from scratch. This is a builder's seat for someone who's done perks and rewards before and wants to own the function end to end.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Own credit card partnerships end to end: source, negotiate, and land partner-funded, card-native perks with national, household-name brands.
- Grow Wealthsimple Offers and the credit card cashback marketplace: build the roster across our top spend categories (travel, telecom, insurance, entertainment, grocery, transportation) and drive client adoption and redemption.
- Own Milestone Rewards: shape the mechanics and partner mix, and make the calls on when to revamp, expand, or retire.
- Lead commercial negotiations from first outreach to signed terms, landing economics that work for both our clients and the business.
- Turn card and marketplace data into a pipeline: find where the spend, the frequency, and the client value actually are, then go win those partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Growth, PMM, Brand, Product, and data to launch, measure, and scale each program.
- Own the targets: offers live, unique clients engaging, redemption rates, and perks live per quarter, all tied to adoption, consolidation, and engagement.
SKILLS YOU'LL BRING:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, partnerships, and/or product-adjacent roles in banking or customer-focused industries.
- Perks and rewards experience. You've built or run a perks, rewards, or loyalty program before. This is the core of the role and we're looking for someone who's lived it, not read about it.
- Negotiation and commercial ownership. A master negotiator with a track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting targets, and turning partnerships into value.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs, economics, and scalability, and real comfort in spend and redemption data.
- Strategic partnership execution. Demonstrated experience developing and executing partnerships that require coordination across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- A 0-to-1 operator. Experience launching, building, or scaling programs in a new market with a high degree of autonomy.
- High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Credit card, card-linked offer, interchange, or payments experience. If you've worked on card perks or a card-linked marketplace, we especially want to talk.
- A loyalty pedigree: experience at a fintech, a financial institution, or a consumer brand with a serious loyalty program.
- Hands-on data skills: SQL or a BI tool (Looker, Preset, Tableau, or similar) to interrogate spend and redemption yourself.

About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As an Account Executive working remotely in the UK and focused on the UK region, you manage target-accounts and an existing book of business that has companies with 501 - 2,500 employees based in the United Kingdom. Your primary focus is hunting new business opportunities, building sales pipeline, and driving growth within the Commercial sector. You are also responsible for upselling into the existing account base, leveraging our Extended Access Management Identity.
How we’re using AI today
Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Expectations of this role
This is a hybrid role with a regular travel component. You will be expected to work from 1Password’s London office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days per week based on business needs.

Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in security with a focus on Commercial accounts OR top performance in SMB and ready to step up.
- Demonstrated success in owning and growing a geographical territory or country within EMEA.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs, including consistent experience closing deals with $50k+ ARR and the ability to clearly articulate deal strategy, execution, and outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in upselling & cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business, and in uncovering customer pain points beyond what's initially shared.
- Proven track record of leveraging executive stakeholders throughout deal cycles, effectively multi-threading opportunities, and securing in-person meetings with key decision-makers.
- Experience conducting regular in-person customer engagement multiple times per month, with a willingness and ability to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficient skills in:
- Outbound prospecting, pipeline building, strategic account planning, value-based selling, and territory management, with meticulous operating rigor in pipeline management, forecasting, and pacing to target.
- Business acumen, relationship building, solution selling, negotiation, & presenting to C-Suite.
- Written and verbal communication skills across email and communication tools such as Slack and Zoom, with the demonstrated ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical parties.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets while thriving in a remote and fast-paced environment where products and value propositions evolve rapidly, including comfort selling against future vision while products are still in development.
- Demonstrated success managing high workloads and competing priorities without sacrificing quality of execution.
- A proven team player, eager to collaborate and achieve shared goals rather than working in isolation.
- Curious and coachable, with a proven ability to apply feedback, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with channel resellers (enabling, account mapping, relationship building).
- Experience with the MEDDPPICC sales methodology or other rigorous qualification frameworks preferred.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & Outreach.
- Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
What you can expect:
- Own Your Territory: Manage and grow your designated territory in the UK region, focusing on acquiring new Commercial clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Manage Pipeline: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, inbound leads, cold calling, and networking, utilizing our formalized sales process (MEDPICC preferred).
- Drive New Business Growth: Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets by:
- Consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas.
- Maintaining a high volume of outbound activity, including calls, emails, and meetings.
- Identifying and engaging key decision-makers within target accounts.
- Developing and closing new business opportunities within your territory.
- Drive Organic Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell 1Password’s solutions within existing accounts, leveraging your understanding of Extended Access Management.
- Close Multi-Product Deals: Identify opportunities and close large value deals with multiple product SKUs.
- Engage the Industry: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent 1Password, build brand presence and build relationships with potential customers. Interact with CISOs, CIOs, and other VP level-contacts, demonstrating excellent executive presence and knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
- Stay Informed: Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends and developments, particularly in Identity and Access Management, to provide valuable insights to clients and position 1Password as an industry leader.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams (e.g. BDR, Solutions, Channels, Onboarding, Customer Success) to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive satisfaction, optimize client engagement, and identify growth opportunities.
- Cultivate multi-threaded relationships within client organizations to enhance overall account health and long-term success.
- Strategically leverage Partner, Alliance, and MSP relationships to create and close opportunities.
- Focus on Solution Selling:
- Implement selling strategies to align our solutions with client needs and objectives, focusing on their pain points and positioning our solutions as essential, strategic tools.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of client pain points and position our offerings as strategic solutions.
- Present and Negotiate:
- Confidently present to C-suite executives, using a consultative approach while articulating the value proposition of our products and services.
- Create mutual action plans to align the sales team and prospects on responsibilities, steps and timelines for closing deals.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with a focus on driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
UK-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between £53,000 GBP and £74,000 GBP, and is commission-eligible. This role is also immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, pension, and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.

If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As an Account Executive, you manage a territory that includes target-accounts and an existing book of business with companies up to 1,000 employees. Your primary focus is hunting new business opportunities, building sales pipeline, and driving growth within the SMB sector. You are also responsible for upselling into the existing account base, leveraging our Extended Access Management platform. You will own a specific geographical region or country within the EMEA market.
This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from 1Password's London office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from the office up to 5 days based on business needs.

- Experience owning a geographical territory or country within EMEA.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Experience upselling & cross-selling to both new customers and across a book of business

- Business acumen, solution selling, negotiation, & presenting to company decision makers/stakeholders
- Written and verbal communication skills across email and communication tools such as Slack, and Zoom, with the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical parties.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex cybersecurity concepts, particularly in Identity and Access Management.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets while thriving in a remote environment.
- A proven team player, eager to collaborate and achieve shared goals rather than working in isolation.
- Curious and coachable, with a proven ability to apply feedback, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, Linkedin Sales Navigator & Outreach
- Willingness to travel within your region for client meetings and industry events.
What you can expect:

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
As a Commercial (Mid-Market) Account Executive, you will own a focused territory of strategic target accounts and existing customers with 500-2,500 employees, with an emphasis on Fortune 1000 and high growth organizations. Your mandate is to create new executive relationships, build qualified pipeline, win complex, six-figure, multi-product, platform opportunities, and expand 1Password’s strategic footprint across an existing book of business.
This is not a transactional or single-product sales role. You will lead an enterprise-wide security conversation, starting with a customer’s most urgent problem and building the strategic case for Unified Access across humans, AI agents, and machines. You will engage and multi-thread with CISOs, CIOs, IT and security leaders, IAM teams, DevOps and platform teams, engineering leaders, security architects, finance, procurement, and other executive stakeholders.
This is a remote, field-based opportunity. Candidates must be based in San Francisco/Bay Area and should expect regular in-person customer meetings, industry events, and travel throughout the territory, about 30-40%.

What we're looking for:
• 4+ years of closing experience in commercial, mid-market, or enterprise sales, including experience selling to organizations with 500+ employees.
- A consistent track record of exceeding annual quotas in the range of $1 million or more and closing complex, multi-product opportunities.
- Experience selling enterprise platforms or integrated solutions rather than only transactional or stand-alone products.
- Experience creating pipeline through account planning, territory prioritization, outbound prospecting, and consistent follow-up, with the persistence to build new opportunities.
- The ability to engage security, identity, information technology, DevOps, platform engineering, and executive stakeholders, connecting technical priorities to clear business outcomes.
- Strong account planning, opportunity management, forecasting, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with a track record of winning new customers and expanding existing relationships.
- Preferred: Experience with cybersecurity, identity and access management, privileged access, cloud security, endpoint security, developer security, software as a service (SaaS) governance, or related technologies; experience selling to technology companies is also valuable.
Bonus points for:
- You lead with curiosity and strong discovery, uncovering the broader security and business problem rather than stopping at the initial product request.
- You create a compelling platform narrative while keeping the customer’s priorities, maturity, and path to value at the center.
- You combine strategic thinking with operating rigor; your account plans, pipeline, forecasts, and close plans are current, specific, and dependable.
- You are resilient, accountable, collaborative, and motivated by ambitious targets and complex opportunities.
- You hunt daily for new opportunities and consistently hit pipeline generation targets.
- You leverage AI daily to expedite your administrative work and identify strategic opportunities across your book.
- You are coachable, apply feedback quickly, and continuously improve your craft.
- You thrive in a remote, field-based environment and prioritize meaningful in-person customer engagement.
What you can expect:
• Develop and execute account and territory plans for a focused portfolio of high-value prospects and customers.
• Build relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, including Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), identity leaders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Create qualified pipeline by identifying whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, compelling events, and new use cases across identity security, AI adoption, SaaS governance, developer workflows, and device security.
• Lead consultative sales conversations that connect an immediate customer need to a broader Unified Access strategy spanning people, AI agents, and machines.
• Orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving security, information technology, DevOps, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and executive sponsors.
• Structure and negotiate multi-year, multi-product agreements while maintaining accurate opportunity data, forecasts, mutual action plans, and close plans.
• Partner with Business Development Representatives, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, channels, alliances, product, marketing, legal, and deal teams to win new customers and expand existing relationships through meaningful customer engagement.

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Real-World Test Lab (RWTL)
Physical AI doesn't get graded on a leaderboard. It gets graded on a factory floor at shift change, in a substation with no GPS, on a site where the lighting is wrong and the stakes are real.
The Real-World Test Lab closes the gap between the benchmark and the field. We bring the customer's world inside our walls — their devices, their environments, their hardest conditions, and their definition of success — and make it the bar every release has to clear.
As Niantic Spatial's first and most demanding customer, we push our reconstruction, localization, and spatial understanding to their limits, find where they shine and where they break, and turn that into evidence that shapes what we build next. It's a new team at the frontier of physical AI, and you'll help invent how the job is done.
About the Role
We're hiring a Hardware Operations Engineer with a robotics specialism, reporting to the Director of the Real-World Test Lab, to own the physical layer of our evidence. You'll manage our fleet of capture devices and robots, engineer the test environments and the instrumentation inside them, support the captures our data programs depend on, and run physical test sessions, including the real-robot side of our sim-to-real work.
A physical run only counts as evidence if the hardware is characterized, the environment is controlled, the ground truth is trustworthy, and someone can reproduce the run months later. You'll build what makes that possible: fixtures, ground-truth references, calibration and data-offload tooling, and the integrations that feed physical runs into the same automated evaluation system as everything else.
You engineer the conditions, not just the setup. When a physical result didn't match expectations, you've worked out whether the hardware, calibration, environment, or system under test was responsible. Then you built the rig, reference, or logging that kept the question from coming back. You know an uninstrumented physical test is an anecdote, and in the Lab you'll be the person who can say with authority whether a strange result is real.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: Fleet inventory and characterization baseline complete, safe operating procedures defined for current spaces, and first instrumentation gaps identified.
- 60 days: First physical robot run executed with ground-truth instrumentation, documented well enough to repeat, with results in the Lab's evaluation system.
- 90 days: Test environments in regular use with controlled, documented conditions; capture support running smoothly with our data acquisition team; and the physical side of sim-to-real running on a standing instrumented protocol.
What You'll Do
- Own and Characterize the Fleet - Manage our capture devices, sensors, and robots end to end: inventory, calibration, firmware, maintenance, logistics, and spares. Characterize what each platform can and cannot do, so a device's limits are a known quantity rather than a surprise inside a result.
- Engineer the Physical Test Environments - Design, build, and operate the spaces we test in, covering layout, lighting control, markers, obstacle configurations, and survey-grade ground truth references, across our office, rented or workplace-services-supported space, and partner or customer sites. Make each environment a controlled variable rather than an improvisation.
- Build the Instrumentation - Create the rigs, mounts, references, and measurement setups that turn a physical run into quantitative data: trajectory ground truth, positional accuracy references, timing and synchronization across sensors, and automated condition logging.
- Integrate Physical Runs Into the Evaluation System - Work with the AI Automation Engineer so physical results flow into the same scorecards and comparisons as software-only evaluations, through automated data offload, run metadata, and structured condition capture rather than a spreadsheet and a folder of files.
- Run the Physical Test Sessions - Execute robot runs and device-in-the-loop tests: robot bring-up, teleoperation, scripted trials, and the repetition that makes a result statistically meaningful rather than anecdotal.
- Own the Physical Half of Sim-to-Real - When a scenario has been evaluated in simulation, engineer and execute its physical counterpart so the comparison is valid, matching environment, route, lighting, sensor configuration, and robot setup, and instrumenting the run so divergence is explainable rather than mysterious.
- Own Safety - Define and maintain safe operating procedures for robots and powered equipment in our test spaces, and coordinate with workplace services, IT, Legal, and site owners on access and safety requirements.
- Automate Your Own Work - Script the repetitive parts, including configuration, calibration checks, data offload, and condition logging, so setup time falls and a colleague can run a session without you.
What You'll Bring
- Hands-on engineering experience with robotic hardware, covering bring-up, integration, teleoperation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Mobile or wheeled platforms preferred.
- Built test rigs, fixtures, or instrumentation that produced quantitative measurements of a physical system's behavior.
- Designed and run structured physical experiments, including ground truth methodology, and documented conditions rigorously enough for someone else to reproduce them.
- Worked with sensor calibration, multi-sensor synchronization, and coordinate frame conventions, and understand how errors in each propagate into a result.
- Strong Python and command-line proficiency, with a track record of automating hardware configuration, data offload, or test execution.
- Managed hardware fleets operationally: inventory, firmware, calibration schedules, logistics, and repair coordination.
- Practical safety experience operating powered equipment or robots around people.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Worked with ROS or ROS 2, including writing nodes or integrating sensor drivers.
- Operated NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab as a user, running scenarios someone else authored.
- Worked with professional capture hardware such as terrestrial laser scanners, NavVis or Leica systems, LiDAR, 360 cameras, or drones.
- Established survey-grade or motion-capture ground truth for localization or navigation evaluation.
- Supported photogrammetry, Gaussian splat, or 3D reconstruction capture workflows.
- Run test operations at customer or partner sites, with the coordination and discretion that requires.
Competencies
- Engineering judgment about physical systems. You reason about error sources: calibration drift, timing offsets, mounting rigidity, lighting variation, floor surface. When results disagree, you form a hypothesis and design the measurement that settles it.
- Hands-on and unfazed. You'd rather be in the space with the robot than reading about it. Cables, mounts, batteries, firmware, and a session that starts at 7am are all part of the job.
- Meticulous about conditions. You instrument rather than remember. You know the value of a physical test lives in how precisely its conditions were captured.
- Safety-minded without being slow. You take real responsibility for operating robots around people, and you build procedures where the safe path is also the fast path.
- Builds for other people. Your fixtures, scripts, and procedures get used by colleagues without you in the room.
- Comfortable in an unfinished environment. Much of this does not exist yet. You'll be selecting equipment, designing the first rigs, and defining how a space gets configured, with support but without a playbook.

About the Real-World Test Lab
Physical AI doesn't get graded on a leaderboard. It gets graded on a factory floor at shift change, in a substation with no GPS, on a site where the lighting is wrong and the stakes are real.
The Real-World Test Lab closes the gap between the benchmark and the field. We bring the customer's world inside our walls - their devices, their environments, their hardest conditions, and their definition of success - and make it the bar every release has to clear.
We're hiring an AI Automation Engineer, reporting to the Director of the Real-World Test Lab, to build the system that produces our evidence. Today our evaluations are manual, inconsistent, and slow. You'll design and own the automation that runs them end to end on every relevant release, with no human driving it, turning one-off experiments into an always-on service the whole company relies on.
This role is about owning the evidence, not executing a test plan. You'll decide how each workflow gets exercised, and you'll be measured on whether the company can trust the results, not on how much automation exists. The work counts when it keeps running correctly months later, without you in the loop.
You believe evaluation is engineering, not process. You've built systems that test other systems, and you know the difference between a script that works on your laptop and infrastructure a team can trust. When a result couldn't be reproduced, you fixed the tooling instead of arguing about the number.
What You'll Do
- Build the Evaluation Machine - Own the automation that executes Lab evaluations end to end: environment setup, run orchestration, artifact capture, and result collection. Make reruns free so we test constantly rather than occasionally.
- Make Results Comparable - Instrument scorecards so a result can be compared across product versions, devices, and capture conditions. A number without its lineage is not evidence.
- Automate the Agent-Driven Layer - Build the agent workflows that exercise priority customer use cases at realistic scale, across the graded difficulty spectrum from easy to frontier, and be honest about where agents cannot yet replace human judgment.
- Kill Manual Work Permanently - Convert one-off experiments into standing protocols that run on every relevant release. Automate recurring inspection wherever it can be automated, and route what genuinely cannot to scalable human review.
- Make Failures Actionable - Produce diagnostics precise enough that a finding reaches its owner with a reproducible case and data attached. Findings that need re-investigation before anyone can act on them are half-finished.
- Keep Data From Being the Bottleneck - Work with the AI Data Manager so every run is reproducible from a known dataset state, without anyone downloading and re-uploading data by hand.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: One priority workflow evaluated end to end with no manual steps, with results in a comparable scorecard.
- 60 days: Evaluations trigger automatically on relevant releases, with diagnostics that route failures to the right owners.
- 90 days: Three priority workflows under standing automated evaluation, with version-over-version comparison for leadership.
What You'll Bring
- Built and maintained production-grade automation or test infrastructure that other engineers relied on daily.
- Experience evaluating systems where correctness is graded rather than binary, meaning quality, accuracy, or latency thresholds rather than pass/fail assertions.
- Strong Python, with fluency in orchestration, CI-style pipelines, cloud storage, and reproducible environments.
- Worked with backend services and APIs you did not own, integrating against them without becoming a bottleneck for their team.
- Written up a technical finding clearly enough that a non-author could act on it without a meeting.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Built agent-based or LLM-driven automation for a task that previously required human judgment.
- Worked on evaluation or benchmarking for computer vision, 3D reconstruction, or spatial systems.
- Instrumented dashboards or scorecards that leadership used for release decisions.
- Operated data provisioning or registry infrastructure across multiple environments and access models.
Competencies
- Intellectually honest. You design tests that produce answers people can trust, and you refuse to let a benchmark imply more than the evidence supports — including when the honest answer is inconvenient for your own work.
- Pragmatic. You find the fastest path to a defensible result without going through one-way doors that undermine scaling. You have no patience for building infrastructure nobody has asked for yet.
- AI-forward by instinct. You reach for agents and LLM-driven automation before you reach for headcount, and you're rigorous about verifying what they produce.
- Builds for other people. You've maintained something after the initial excitement wore off. Your tooling is documented, your failures are legible, and colleagues use what you build without asking you to run it for them.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $158,400 to $210,000 per year. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Developers build trust in a company through the people they meet and the experiences they have with it. We’re looking for someone to shape those experiences for 1Password.
You’ll lead our developer events and in-person community strategy: choosing where we show up, creating gatherings worth returning to, and building relationships that continue after everyone leaves the room. You’ll own the strategy and the details, from deciding whether a conference is worth the investment to welcoming developers at an event you helped produce.
You’ll start with San Francisco and New York City and help expand the program to other cities over time.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US, with a preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
What you can expect:
- Shape our events strategy. Build a thoughtful calendar of conferences, meetups, and 1Password-hosted events. Recommend where we should sponsor, speak, participate, or host our own gathering.
- Own conference and sponsorship decisions. Evaluate opportunities, manage organizer relationships and budgets, partner with our events team on execution, and use results to guide future investment.
- Create developer events people want to attend. Plan and run meetups, workshops, dinners, and other gatherings. Own the experience from format and speakers through venue, invitations, and on-site execution.
- Build community between events. Create ways for developers to stay connected, return, contribute, and bring others in. Treat each event as the beginning of a relationship.
- Show up in person. Be an active host and 1Password representative. You’re comfortable handling the practical details on site and having substantive conversations with developers.
- Connect events to the broader DevRel program. Partner with our Principal Developer Advocate on talks, technical content, and experiences that give developers a reason to engage.
- Work closely with marketing and sales. Build useful follow-up paths, share what you’re learning from the community, and measure how events contribute to relationships, adoption, and pipeline.
- Tell the story as it happens. Capture photos, short videos, and takeaways that help extend the reach of our events on LinkedIn and X.
What we're looking for:
- Experience building developer events or communities, ideally at a developer tools, infrastructure, or technology company.
- A track record of growing an engaged community, beyond increasing registrations or attendance.
- Strong event production skills. You know how to make an event feel welcoming, useful, and well run, and you can handle the unexpected on site.
- Experience managing sponsorships, vendors, and budgets, with sound judgment about where to invest.
- Comfort working with developer advocates, marketing, and sales to turn in-person engagement into lasting relationships.
- Strong relationships and communication skills with developers, organizers, speakers, partners, and internal teams.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize well, and travel as the program grows.
Bonus points if you have existing relationships in the San Francisco or New York developer communities, or experience working in security, identity, or infrastructure.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 USD and $186,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
