Workplace: onsite
About You
As Head of Investor Capital and Relations, Middle East, you will operate independently in region with a global reporting line and executive sponsorship, and with the mandate to build the firm's Middle East franchise from first principles: the coverage map, the institutional relationships, the office and, ultimately, the regional team.
This is a builder's role. You will own senior coverage of the region's sovereign wealth funds, government related entities and family offices, lead the office establishment and hub determination between DIFC and ADGM, and coordinate closely with counsel and the firm's government relations workstreams as you build a durable Gulf franchise.
About the Opportunity
Xsolla is seeking a Head of Investor Capital and Relations to be the firm's senior presence in the Gulf and own its most strategically important capital relationships: the region's sovereign wealth funds, government related entities and principal family offices. The GCC is executing one of the most ambitious government backed investment programs in the history of the games industry, and this seat exists to convert that alignment into anchor limited partner relationships, co-investment partnerships and strategic financings for the firm's investment vehicles and transaction pipeline.
The corporate title for this seat is Executive Director, with a defined path to Managing Director tied to franchise milestones. The seat will have one direct report initially, a Regional Relationship Manager, to be hired following office establishment.
The Head of Investor Capital and Relations, Middle East will be based in Dubai (DIFC) or Abu Dhabi (ADGM), with the hub determination in progress and open to the successful candidate's input, and will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. The role requires travel of 50 percent or more across the GCC and wider MENA, with periodic travel to Los Angeles and New York. This is a full time position; the regional package will be structured with local counsel.
Expressions of Interest
Xsolla welcomes confidential conversations with qualified candidates and trusted introductions. Please direct expressions of interest, together with a resume and a short note on relevant experience, to the Xsolla Talent Acquisition team via the application button linked below.
About Us
Xsolla is a global commerce and financial technology company for the video game industry. Headquartered in Los Angeles with offices and operations worldwide, Xsolla provides the tools, infrastructure and capital solutions that help developers and publishers fund, launch, distribute and monetize their games across every market and platform. The company serves thousands of game businesses globally, from independent studios to the largest publishers, and is expanding a dedicated capital markets and investment platform serving the interactive entertainment ecosystem.
The Capital Markets Group
The Capital Markets Group (CMG) sits within Xsolla's Global Strategic Initiatives function and operates as the firm's institutional capital platform. The group originates, structures and executes financing and investment solutions across games and interactive entertainment, and is building a franchise modeled on the leading independent capital markets and special situations advisory platforms.
The group operates multiple investment vehicles spanning debt financing and credit markets, alongside special situations and principal investment strategies serving the interactive entertainment ecosystem. These activities are supported by a proprietary market intelligence system, a global events and convening program, and a governed institutional relationship platform covering LPs, sovereign investors, family offices, banks and intermediaries across the Americas, MENA, APAC and Europe.
CMG operates from hubs in Los Angeles, New York, the Middle East and Singapore. The group is in its foundation stage: hires at every level join a live deal environment with executive sponsorship, meaningful ownership and the mandate to build a durable franchise rather than inherit one.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Duo Chat team, focused on Chat Engine, you'll build the core AI capabilities behind GitLab Duo Chat, the natural-language and agentic interface to the GitLab DevSecOps platform. Much of your work will involve building flow components and agentic flows in the Flow Registry, the Python framework built on LangGraph within our Duo Workflow Service that powers agentic chat, and integrating them with the GitLab Rails monolith.
You'll own complex backend features from start to finish across both services. You'll integrate large language models and orchestrate multi-agent flows so customers can work faster and more securely across the software development lifecycle. This work sits where GitLab's core platform meets its AI strategy, and reliability, performance, and answer quality directly shape the customer experience.
What you’ll do
Design and build flow components and agentic flows in the Flow Registry using Python and LangGraph within the Duo Workflow Service. These reusable building blocks power agentic Duo Chat and, increasingly, other AI features across GitLab.

Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic SDLC
An overview of this role
GitLab’s Forward Deployed Engineering team is a field-situated product engineering function focused on strategic customer outcomes, artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, and direct contributions to GitLab’s product. This isn't a traditional field engineering, solutions architecture, or professional services role. As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work closely with customers while maintaining the technical standards and contribution discipline of a Staff-level product engineer.
You'll work where strategic customer urgency, complex technical ambiguity, and GitLab product execution intersect. You'll partner directly with strategic customers and teams across Product, Engineering, Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Solutions Architecture (SA), Customer Success Architecture (CSA), Customer Success Management (CSM), and Professional Services. You'll diagnose and resolve high-impact adoption blockers, contribute production-quality fixes and features, and turn what you learn into repeatable patterns for GitLab and its customers.
Why this role exists
Strategic customers sometimes encounter challenges that are too broad, deep, urgent, or cross-functional for any single team to own from start to finish. These challenges may involve product gaps, performance degradation, scale bottlenecks, AI governance, adoption blockers, architectural constraints, Git usage patterns, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) complexity, application programming interface (API) automation, security requirements, or operational instability.
Forward Deployed Engineering provides technical stewardship in these moments. The team doesn't simply observe, report, or escalate. You'll engage directly, diagnose the underlying technical problem, collaborate with the right teams, contribute code or technical solutions where appropriate, and transition the outcome into normal ownership once the customer is stable and the learning can be reused.
What you’ll do
Product contribution
Contribute production-quality code to GitLab’s product and adjacent systems.
Develop bug fixes, features, integrations, tooling, and performance improvements when strategic customer outcomes require direct engineering work.
Work within GitLab’s product and engineering processes, including issue discovery, merge request creation, testing, review, documentation, and maintainability.
Partner with Product and Engineering so customer-driven solutions support long-term product direction rather than becoming one-off customizations.
Turn blockers discovered in the field into durable product improvements, reference architectures, documentation, and repeatable implementation patterns.
Strategic technical stewardship
Engage with strategically important customers when adoption, retention, executive confidence, or public trust is materially at risk.
Diagnose complex problems across GitLab product behavior, customer architecture, Git internals, CI/CD workflows, API usage, observability, infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.

About the team
The Forward Deployed Engineering team connects strategic customer needs with GitLab product execution. The team works directly with customers and across GitLab to resolve complex adoption challenges, contribute durable product improvements, and create reusable technical guidance. Its goal is to stabilize urgent situations, improve the product, and transition ongoing ownership to the appropriate team rather than create a permanent dependency.
Ideal candidate profile
You're a Staff-level product or platform engineer who can operate in the field without becoming field-only. You're comfortable reading traces, writing production code, debugging architecture, discussing AI governance, leading a customer technical session, opening a merge request, outlining a whitepaper, and coordinating across teams to achieve a strategic customer outcome.
You're not simply a strong communicator with technical awareness. You're a credible engineer with the judgment, presence, and narrative ability to turn customer reality into product contributions, adoption guidance, and company-level thought leadership.
We welcome candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience. Many successful candidates don't meet every qualification. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply and let our recruiting team assess your application.

Today over 60,000 businesses rely on our platform, and the next leap in what we can offer them depends on models that combine text, audio, and video into a single real-time interactive experience.
As a Staff Research Engineer, you'll join the Voice team within our 40+ person R&D department, but your scope will extend well beyond voice. You'll help define and drive that broader vision across teams, proposing ambitious research directions and taking direct ownership of the design and implementation of its most critical components. You'll work directly with our voice lead and collaborate tightly with our video teams and other senior members of the org.
Concretely, you'll work on voice to voice models that produce text and voice simultaneously. Models that can reason, interrupt the user with back channeling and talk. Models that feel like you are having a natural conversation with, without the feeling of turn taking that is dominant in current speech to speech models. Your role would be to partner in defining a roadmap, implementing it and shipping the outcomes to product.
What you'll do
- Shape our roadmap to create new model capabilities and unlock new functionality for our customer base, on both short and long time horizons.
- Propose novel multi-modal system architectures (especially text and voice).
- Develop and evaluate streaming and conversational systems for low-latency, interactive voice-video synthesis.
- Design solutions that reinforce emotional expressiveness and natural interaction.
- Implement and bring designs to life, from pretraining through post-training.
- Integrate and test novel architectures (neural codecs, diffusion, flow-matching) to enhance realism and responsiveness.
- Define new evaluation metrics for conversational systems, including latency-aware and interaction-based measurements.
- Track the latest research in audio-visual diffusion, autoregressive models, neural codecs, and multimodal LLMs.
- Curate new datasets to complement existing data.
- Lead post-training initiatives like DPO, fine-tuning, and distillation to bring models to shipping quality.
- Ship models to production with optimised runtime to serve customers, and address their feedback thereafter.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE
- The ability to bring novel ideas and designs that advance the field of interactive multimodal systems.
- Strong understanding of generative modelling, ideally applied to sequential or multimodal data.
- Hands-on experience with large language models or similar transformer-based architectures.
- High proficiency in PyTorch, including distributed training and model optimization.
- A solid grasp of time-series modeling and tokenization, preferably in the context of audio, speech, or video.
- A demonstrated ability to prototype quickly, test hypotheses, and iterate efficiently.
- Proven experience training deep learning models end-to-end, from data preparation through evaluation.
- Strong general software engineering skills, enabling contributions to a large, shared research infrastructure.
PARTICULARLY RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Having shipped a generative model into a live product used at meaningful scale, not just published or prototyped it.
- Working on conversational or interactive systems where latency, responsiveness, and user experience were first-class constraints, not afterthoughts.
- Working on LLMs with large scale trainings leadings to models with decent reasoning capabilities
- Owning a research problem end to end: from architecture proposal through pretraining, post-training, and production deployment.
- Collaborating across modalities or teams (e.g. audio and video, or research and product) to ship a unified system.
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience with real-time or streaming architectures.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art architectures in audio and speech generation, such as diffusion models, neural codecs, flow-matching models, or autoregressive decoders.
- Excellence in one or more of the following modalities: voice, text, video.
- Evidence of original research contributions, such as publications or open-source work at top-tier venues (e.g. NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, Interspeech).

An overview of this role
As Manager, Engineering, Nonlinear Productivity (Friction Elimination & Solutions), you’ll help GitLab break the linear relationship between headcount and engineering output. In this role, you’ll oversee the initiative’s forward-scanning work, reviewing GitLab’s software development lifecycle and code-generation workflows to spot recurring friction, test durable fixes, and identify internal solutions that could become customer-facing products.
You’ll report to the Senior Manager or Director, Nonlinear Productivity and work at the intersection of engineering, developer productivity, AI-assisted development, and product. You’ll build a data-backed view of where technical interventions can have the highest leverage, test solutions through prototypes, drive validated fixes into internal adoption, and help build the case for productizing the strongest outcomes.
What you’ll do
Survey GitLab’s internal software development lifecycle and code-generation workflows to identify structural friction early, and build a data-backed view of where technical interventions will have the highest leverage.
Evaluate build, buy, and adapt options for each opportunity, including emerging agentic and AI tooling, with a clear view of cost, risk, and durability.
Stand up prototypes and review architecture directly to test whether a proposed fix moves a target metric and represents a durable solution before GitLab makes broader engineering investment.
Hire and manage a small, high-caliber team, or operate as a hands-on working manager, with a focus on talent density over headcount.
Drive validated fixes from prototype to internal adoption by partnering with affected teams so solutions are relied on, used, and maintained.
Build the technical and business case for productizing internal fixes that prove durable, in partnership with product.
Document reusable learnings so successful internal fixes don’t remain tribal knowledge.
Report impact through changes in key metrics and progress on turning internal fixes into products, including a clear account of what didn’t work.
What you’ll bring
Ability to use GitLab.
A track record of identifying and shipping technical fixes for developer productivity, continuous integration and continuous delivery, or platform friction, including problems you found before they were assigned.
Comfort operating with high ambiguity and no existing backlog, building the roadmap rather than executing one handed down.
People management experience, including in a small-team or working-manager capacity.
Technical depth to evaluate and prototype solutions directly, not only direct others toward them.
Product judgment to assess whether an internal tool could hold up for paying customers.
Familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted development tooling.
Experience moving an internal tool toward an external, customer-facing product is advantageous.
About the team
The Nonlinear Productivity team improves how GitLab engineers, and increasingly agents, build, review, and ship code. We test and scale durable technical fixes that improve our internal engineering output.
Career ladder
In this role, you can progress to Senior Manager, Nonlinear Productivity, with an expanded mandate across the full set of team metrics we use to track improvement.

An overview of this role
This role is not a typical infrastructure operations role. As Manager, Engineering, Git & Gitaly Operations, you'll lead the team responsible for the infrastructure layer underneath Git at GitLab: the open source Git project itself, Gitaly, GitLab's Git storage and remote procedure call layer, and the services that make Git perform at enterprise scale.
Git and Gitaly are core to GitLab. If they go sideways in production, they affect everything downstream, including continuous integration, code review, and deployments. This role starts with genuine subject matter expertise in Git technologies and extends to reliable operation across GitLab's deployment models: Self-Managed, GitLab Dedicated, and SaaS.
You'll build and develop a team with deep platform expertise and strong operational judgment. You'll partner across engineering groups to shape how Git and Gitaly operations evolve as the platform grows.
What you’ll do
Build and lead a team with deep platform expertise in Git and Gitaly, hiring and developing engineers who can operate this infrastructure layer with strong operational judgment.
Own production reliability for Git and Gitaly across GitLab's full deployment footprint.
Drive incident management, root cause investigation, and postmortems with the technical depth to distinguish a Git internals problem from a generic infrastructure problem.
Design and operate Git and Gitaly service models that work across Self-Managed, GitLab Dedicated, and SaaS, with a clear view of which elements are common and which must differ between them.
Maintain cloud-agnostic architecture and tooling decisions, avoiding designs that assume a single hyperscaler's primitives.
Partner with the teams that own each deployment model so operational practices stay coherent rather than fragmenting into separate playbooks.
Apply distributed systems fundamentals, including consistency, replication, and failure domains, to Gitaly's storage and replication model.
Own elastic storage and compute strategy for Git repository data, including capacity planning, autoscaling, and consumption-based provisioning for GitLab's largest self-managed and SaaS customers.
What you’ll bring
Familiarity with GitLab's product and deployment models, and how Git and Gitaly support repository operations across self-managed, dedicated, and SaaS environments.
Hands-on subject matter expertise in Git internals, including how the protocol, object model, and storage layer behave under load and at scale, not only familiarity with Git usage.
Strong distributed systems fundamentals, including consistency, replication, failure handling, and horizontal scalability.
Experience running production infrastructure across multiple deployment models, such as self-managed, dedicated or single-tenant, and multi-tenant SaaS, or a credible path from adjacent experience to it.
Experience with elastic storage and compute, and consumption-based system design for variable, unpredictable load.
People management experience, ideally leading site reliability engineering-style or platform operations teams.
Direct experience with Gitaly, libgit2, JGit, or another Git implementation's internals is advantageous.
Experience operating cloud-agnostic infrastructure across multiple hyperscalers or on-premises environments is advantageous.
About the team
The Git & Gitaly Operations team owns the Git infrastructure layer that powers GitLab and works at the intersection of Git internals, distributed systems, storage, and production operations.
We expect the Git & Gitaly Operations team to go deep on one of GitLab's most critical platforms. The work requires technical depth, strong operational discipline, and the ability to solve complex reliability and scaling challenges in Git and Gitaly.

An overview of this role
Site Reliability Engineers keep GitLab's user-facing services and production systems running reliably at scale. They combine software engineering with operational excellence, applying sound engineering principles, automation, and continuous improvement to build, operate, and evolve our production infrastructure.
This is a single application for Site Reliability Engineering opportunities across Infrastructure Platforms. Rather than asking you to choose the right team or level upfront, we evaluate your skills holistically and match you to the opportunity that best aligns with your experience and our hiring needs. We hire Site Reliability Engineers from Intermediate through Senior Staff across multiple Infrastructure Platforms teams.
We don't expect every candidate to have experience with every technology in our environment. We're looking for engineers with strong technical fundamentals, a growth mindset, and the ability to learn quickly. We'll support you in becoming successful with GitLab's tools, systems, and ways of working.
Please note: This position is open to candidates based in the United States and Canada only. Candidates based in the United Kingdom can apply to this posting:
Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Platforms — UK (Intermediate to Senior Staff)
How our SRE hiring works
Because this is a single application for SRE roles across Infrastructure Platforms, our process is built to evaluate you once and match you well, rather than interviewing separately for every team.
Recruiter Screen:
A conversation about your background, what you're looking for, and the level and teams that fit, so we can point your process in the right direction.
Core Technical:
The shared assessment every SRE candidate takes, regardless of eventual team. A low-stress, collaborative discussion covering system architecture and incident review.
Hiring Manager Interview:
A conversation about ownership, judgment, execution, collaboration, and growth, the non-technical signals that make an SRE effective at GitLab.
Peer Technical:
Team-specific depth, run by SREs from the team you're most likely to join, focused on the problems that team actually works on.
Skip-Level Interview:
A conversation with a senior leader on values alignment, and how you'll work across teams.
After your interviews, we consider your performance alongside our current hiring needs to confirm the level and team where you'll do your best work. Interview results are a major factor, and final placement also reflects our active hiring priorities at the time.
We’ll calibrate your level throughout the interview process based on the scope and impact of your experience.
Intermediate: You independently deliver meaningful reliability improvements within a defined area.
Senior: You own complex reliability work end to end and raise the effectiveness of your team.
Staff: You shape reliability across multiple teams, solving systemic problems and creating approaches others can reuse.
Senior Staff: You set technical direction across a broader Infrastructure area and influence reliability strategy at organizational scale.
What you'll do
Keep user-facing services and production systems reliable, scalable, and efficient
Build automation and tooling that reduces toil and replaces manual work with repeatable, infrastructure-as-code-driven workflows
Operate and troubleshoot production systems on Kubernetes, including deployments, rollouts, and scaling
Write and maintain infrastructure as code, and ship changes safely through CI/CD and GitOps
Participate in on-call, triage alerts, follow and improve runbooks, and escalate appropriately
Contribute to the observability stack, using metrics, logs, and SLOs to detect symptoms early rather than just outages
Take part in incident response and post-incident reviews, turning learnings into changes in automation and process
Document runbooks, architecture decisions, and reviews so your findings become repeatable practices
What you'll bring
Experience keeping production systems reliable, combining an operations mindset with real software engineering practice
Experience building net-new infrastructure tooling and automation, not just configuring existing tools. For example, Terraform modules, Kubernetes operators or controllers, or production automation and services written from scratch
The ability to read, debug, and reason about code. Most of our teams work in Go; some work in Ruby. You can discuss a piece of code's behavior, performance, and failure modes
Experience with infrastructure as code, and with Kubernetes and its ecosystem, at a depth appropriate to your level
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP or AWS)
Familiarity with observability practices, including metrics, logging, alerting, and SLOs or SLIs, and using data to inform operational decisions
Comfort participating in on-call and incident response, with a structured approach to troubleshooting under pressure
Strong written communication and the ability to operate as a manager-of-one in an async, distributed environment
A track record of using automation, and increasingly AI, to reduce toil and improve how you and your team work
Alignment with GitLab's values and a commitment to working in accordance with them

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're building the next chapter of AI-native craft and creativity - where craft and technology meet. Our unified platform bridges the gap between AI capabilities and human creativity, and lets professional creatives and designers harness the power of the world’s leading AI models without losing precision, expression, or soul. Together, we’re building tools that help people move faster without sacrificing quality, precision, or craft — a platform where AI supports creativity instead of flattening it.
We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead Figma Weave's enterprise motion. On a small team where everyone's scope flexes, you'll also work across product marketing more broadly — defining how the product shows up for enterprise buyers, arming sales with what they need to close, and building the systems that turn enterprise accounts into long-term customers. Enterprise is the primary focus, not the only one: you'll move into PLG, growth, and launch work as the team's priorities shift.
This is a strategic and hands-on role. You'll think in pipeline and narrative at once — translating product capability into value that lands with enterprise buyers, while staying close enough to execution to write the deck yourself.
What you’ll do at Figma Weave:
Build enterprise GTM strategy for feature, model, and product launches
Own enterprise positioning and messaging, translating product value into terms that land with enterprise buyers
Lead the sales enablement motion
Own enterprise onboarding and adoption, from first use through expansion
Develop customer proof: case studies, success stories, and industry examples
Own enterprise-facing web pages and funnel
Work across the full range of product marketing — launches, content, positioning — wherever the team needs it, not limited to enterprise
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
6+ years in product marketing, with strong B2B/enterprise experience (the focus, not a strict requirement for every year of your background)
A track record building enterprise GTM from positioning through launch and enablement
Fluency with the sales motion — you've worked inside a sales cycle, not just alongside one
Experience working cross-functionally across product, growth, and sales
Comfort using AI tools to work efficiently — this is core to how the team operates
Strong storytelling and writing skills
Comfort with speed and ambiguity — priorities shift, and you move with them
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience in creative tech or design platforms
Experience with partner-led or channel-led enterprise growth
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
At Figma we celebrate and support our differences. We know employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, our product and our community to flourish. Figma is an
equal opportunity workplace
- we are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity/expression, veteran status

or any other characteristic protected by law. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
We will work to ensure individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to apply for a role, participate in the interview process, perform essential job functions, and receive other benefits and privileges of employment. If you require accommodation, please reach out to
accommodations-ext@figma.com
. These modifications enable an individual with a disability to have an equal opportunity not only to get a job, but successfully perform their job tasks to the same extent as people without disabilities.
Examples of accommodations include but are not limited to:
Holding interviews in an accessible location
Enabling closed captioning on video conferencing
Ensuring all written communication be compatible with screen readers
Changing the mode or format of interviews
To ensure the integrity of our hiring process and facilitate a more personal connection, we require all candidates keep their cameras on during video interviews. Additionally, if hired you will be required to attend in person onboarding.
By applying for this job, the candidate acknowledges and agrees that any personal data contained in their application or supporting materials will be processed in accordance with

An Overview of this role
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to serve as an internal PM embedded within this team. This is not a traditional external-facing product role—it is an internal platform product leadership position. You will own the roadmap for our enterprise systems, act as the strategic voice of the business within engineering, and bring senior product craft to a team of Analysts and engineers who build and operate GitLab's revenue infrastructure.
This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader who has deep Quote-to-Cash or Finance domain knowledge, thrives at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, and is energized by mentoring high-performing teams through complex, multi-program environments.
What You’ll Do
Internal Product Roadmap Ownership
Define, own, and maintain the multi-quarter internal product roadmap for QTC and Finance Systems, covering Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite, and the CDot metering platform.
Translate business strategy from Finance, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Sales into sequenced, prioritized system capabilities with clear outcomes and success metrics.
Balance competing program demands—stabilization, net-new capability delivery, and technical debt reduction—with transparent trade-off frameworks.
Drive quarterly and annual planning ceremonies, partnering with Engineering Managers and Business Systems Analysts to align capacity with roadmap commitments.
Stakeholder Partnership & Requirements Translation
Serve as the primary internal product voice for all QTC and Finance Systems initiatives, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Legal.
Lead discovery, requirements workshops, and business process design sessions to translate complex financial and commercial requirements into actionable system specifications.
Own the decision layer between "what the business needs" and "what engineering builds," resolving ambiguity with structured frameworks and documented decisions.
Navigate cross-functional stakeholder dynamics including SOX compliance, audit controls, and revenue recognition governance (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
Team Mentorship & Capability Building
Act as a product craft mentor and senior thought partner for the BSA team, actively upskilling analysts in product thinking, requirements structuring, acceptance criteria definition, and roadmap communication.
Model and instill product management best practices—user story writing, prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW), sprint review discipline, and outcome tracking—across the team.
Partner with leadership to evolve the operating model of the team from project-execution-focused to product-thinking-led, raising the bar for how ETA delivers business value.
Provide structured feedback and growth coaching to BSAs on career development, helping analysts grow toward senior and lead levels.
Program Strategy & Delivery Oversight
Lead product strategy for major multi-quarter programs (e.g., consumption-based billing iterations, CLM/Order Forms, Zuora Product Catalog refactors, ERP optimization) from discovery through go-live.
Define and maintain program-level dependency maps across concurrent workstreams, surfacing risks early and driving cross-team resolution.
Own UAT strategy and acceptance criteria in collaboration with BSAs, ensuring system changes meet business requirements before production release.
Support post-launch stabilization and continuous improvement cycles, prioritizing defect resolution and incremental enhancements based on business impact.
Systems Architecture Collaboration
Partner with Enterprise Architects and Engineering Managers to evaluate build-vs-buy-vs-configure decisions for new capabilities.
Bring informed opinions on QTC platform architecture trade-offs (e.g., billing model design, middleware integration patterns, revenue recognition rule configuration) based on deep domain knowledge.
Stay current on platform roadmaps for Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite, identifying opportunities to leverage native capabilities before custom builds.
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in an internal platform PM, enterprise applications PM, or systems product leadership role.
Deep domain expertise in Quote-to-Cash systems: Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and NetSuite ERP are the core stack—hands-on configuration or implementation experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to own and communicate multi-quarter internal product roadmaps to senior business and technology stakeholders.
Strong command of revenue lifecycle processes: opportunity-to-quote, order management, billing and collections, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and financial close.
Experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment with an understanding of audit trails, approval workflows, and change management requirements for financial systems.
Track record of successfully running complex, multi-program delivery environments with competing priorities and shared engineering resources.
Sufficient technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineering on API design, data model decisions, and integration trade-offs—without needing to write code.
Experience with consumption-based or usage-based billing models
About the team
You'll be joining the Revenue Lifecycle & Finance Systems team within GitLab's Enterprise Technology Architecture organization. Our team is responsible for the systems and processes that power GitLab's entire revenue lifecycle—from configure-price-quote through contract execution, billing, revenue recognition, and financial close.
We are in an exciting and demanding phase: transitioning GitLab's go-to-market from a pure subscription model toward consumption-based offerings while simultaneously modernizing our core platforms. This role will be central to shaping how that evolution happens—and how the team grows in capability and product maturity alongside it.

An overview of this role
As an Intermediate Backend Engineer in GitLab's Agent Foundations stage, you'll go beyond using AI tools. You'll help build the foundations for GitLab's agentic AI experiences: the platform that lets AI agents work across the whole software delivery lifecycle, not just write code. That covers how agents are created, shared and connected to tools inside and outside GitLab, how they run, and how their work shows up and can be observed across GitLab.
In this role you'll work closely with engineers across the stage and other AI Engineering teams. This is a high-visibility area where GitLab's core platform meets its AI strategy.
What you'll do
Develop, ship and maintain features for the Duo Agent Platform in the GitLab monolith (Ruby) and, where needed, the AI Gateway (Python). Keep them secure, well-tested and performant.
Work with Product Management, UX, frontend, backend and AI specialists to refine requirements and ship improvements in small iterations.
Design, implement and review GraphQL and REST APIs and the backend logic behind them, with reliable, scalable and clear contracts for clients.
Improve and extend automated testing (RSpec and other frameworks) to strengthen quality and give developers faster feedback.
Share standards, patterns and learnings with other engineers to raise the bar for responsible AI integration and evidence-driven engineering.
Join Tier 2
on-call rotations
to troubleshoot production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and improve observability and resiliency.
Keep an eye on the competitive landscape to help keep GitLab's agent platform best-in-class.
What you'll bring
Experience building and maintaining production Ruby on Rails applications, including background jobs, APIs and data models.
Comfort working across the stack in a mature codebase. Familiarity with Python backends and/or Vue frontends is a plus.
Skill in designing or extending REST and/or GraphQL APIs with attention to scalability, maintainability and backward compatibility.
Real enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experience using AI tools in your daily work. Experience designing and shipping AI-powered backend features or integrations is a plus.
Proven SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and data modeling.
Experience finding and fixing performance bottlenecks in applications.
Clear written and verbal communication, including technical proposals and documentation, in a remote, async, cross-functional team.
Openness to learning and to applying skills from related technologies or fields.
About the team
The
Agent Foundations stage
builds the foundations for GitLab's agentic AI experiences. We provide the platform, catalog and execution features that help teams deliver resilient agents and flows to customers. The stage has three groups: Agent Developer, AI Catalog and Agent Execution, they provide the core harness for GitLab’s agents, the tools Agent’s need to interact with GitLab as well as ways to configure and execute Agents across GitLab.Our engineers work async-first across EMEA and AMER timezones. We work with teams across AI engineering and the rest of GitLab so the Duo Agent Platform can power many of GitLab's AI features.
