An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer with the
Database Excellence group
, you'll build and evolve the data frameworks and tooling that keep GitLab's application datastores scalable, healthy, and safe across both GitLab.com and thousands of self-managed instances. A primary focus for this role is building proactive data growth controls for GitLab.com, including retention and lifecycle management frameworks, enforcement of retention policies at schema-change time, and tooling that keeps database growth sustainable as AI-driven development accelerates how quickly data accumulates. If you want to build and own the automated testing platform that powers a core piece of developer infrastructure, this is for you. You will focus on writing high-impact code, removing engineering friction, and setting the technical direction for quality on TeamCity.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
As our user base grows and enterprise pipelines become more complex, ensuring the highest quality for TeamCity is critical for the people who depend on us daily.
We are looking for a senior engineer to own the quality engineering platform behind TeamCity. This is not a manual testing role or a suite maintenance job. You will spend your time writing code, building the tooling and frameworks that enable dozens of product engineers to ship confidently, removing manual work surrounding releases, and making our developer experience measurably better.
You will lead the technical direction for quality on a large, feature-rich product, bring practical AI approaches into the workflow where they genuinely add value, and collaborate across teams to help product engineers own their tests.
Day to day, you will:
Evolve the automated testing platform, including frameworks, infrastructure, reporting, and CI/CD chains.
Identify slow, manual, or fragile parts of our engineering process – such as release automation, feedback loops, and test flakiness – and fix them at the root.
Integrate AI into the quality workflow for test generation with guardrails, automated failure triage, and self-healing tests.
Work directly with product teams to help them write and own their tests, review their contributions, and evangelize solid test design.
Investigate failures and flakiness across both tests and product code to drive them to resolution.
Participate in all stages of product development, from initial design through release, interacting with internal and external users.
What you’ll bring
An engineer’s approach to quality, preferring to build tools and automate processes rather than maintain legacy tasks.
Strong architectural judgment and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
Practical curiosity about AI, with a clear point of view on where it genuinely helps and where it falls short.
A habit of working independently without formal specifications, figuring out the product, and determining what matters most.
Clear, direct communication skills and the initiative to walk up to developers and persuade teams to improve how they work.
An interest in mentoring colleagues, setting technical standards, and sharing knowledge across teams.
What you’ll need
Advanced skills in Kotlin or Java, with a solid grasp of object-oriented design and design patterns.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation for complex, mission-critical backends, web services, or desktop applications.
Proficiency with testing frameworks (TestNG or JUnit) and browser automation (Selenium WebDriver, Selenide, or Playwright).
Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle or Maven, containerization using Docker or Podman, and reporting tools like Allure.
Command of Git and a solid understanding of software testing principles and concurrent programming concepts.
A proven track record of creating internal platform tools or developer-experience improvements that measurably speed up engineering workflows.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
What success looks like
Success in this role means transforming our quality infrastructure into a seamless, fast, and reliable platform that engineering teams love to use. You will have eliminated major sources of manual release work, reduced test flakiness, and established automated feedback loops that let developers ship code with total confidence. Product engineers will independently write high-quality tests using your frameworks, and your pragmatic integration of AI tools will have measurably improved failure triage and test creation.
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad.
Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family
Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
Relocation support. We help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Language classes. Pick up the local language or sharpen your English skills.
Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays.
Mental health support. To help you feel your best, we provide easy access to professional mental health services.
Sports benefit. Enjoy an on-site gym or sports club stipend.
Internal events. Join company-wide celebrations and team gatherings.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATE AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.

Ramp's customers operate on financial deadlines that don't pause.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
UX research at Anthropic works across products used by millions of people, on interactions that don't have established conventions yet. We inform critical decisions through rigorous research, working closely with curious, open-minded stakeholders who are eager to learn along with us. We combine qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user needs in a space that's evolving faster than anyone can track. We move fast, favor impact over polish, and increasingly build our own tools, deeply leveraging Claude to do research at the speed and rigor this environment demands.
This role is on the Platform research team, embedded in Anthropic's Platform organization, which comprises the API, the agent and connector infrastructure developers build on top of it, and the Console, SDKs, and documentation they use to do it. A large share of what gets built with Claude is built on this platform, including many of Anthropic's own products, and the people who use it range from individual developers to the largest enterprises.
The teams that build the platform are deeply technical, move quickly, and are deeply curious about and engaged with users. User research's job here is to give them a deeper and more systematic understanding of those users than they can get on their own, and to help the organization decide what to build for them next.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with a great deal of autonomy. You'll work with the rest of the Platform user research team and with Platform's leaders to decide where research can make the biggest difference, and then lead that work yourself.
Key responsibilities
Work with Platform's leaders and teams to understand what they most need to know about the people building on Claude, decide what is and isn't worth studying, and own that agenda
Design and run the research yourself using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Study the full range of people the platform serves: developers, the teams and companies building products on it, and the people who administer and buy it
Communicate findings to product managers, designers, and engineers and follow them through to product decisions, while building the shared understanding of users that lets teams make good calls on their own
Build the tools and infrastructure that let research keep pace with the platform, using Claude heavily and inventing methods where the existing ones don't fit
Minimum qualifications
Industry UX research experience independently scoping, designing, running, and reporting end-to-end studies
Mixed-methods expertise: interviewing technical users well, and designing and analyzing surveys rigorously
A technical background, in one of these forms: you've worked as a software engineer; you have a sustained body of developer-experience research on APIs, SDKs, or developer tools; or you have a sustained track record of researching deeply technical products. In practice: you can read our documentation, build something small on the platform, and keep up with very technical teams without translation
Hands-on use of AI in your own research: you already run your work through it and use it to build your own analyses and tooling
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of industry UX research experience

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Solutions Architect on GitLab's South Korea team, you'll be a trusted advisor to enterprise prospects, customers, and partners. You'll help them understand how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle. Experience working with Chaebol’s or other large conglomerate organizations is highly valued given the accounts you'll support. Using your technical expertise, knowledge of cloud and modern software development practices, and customer empathy, you'll guide organizations through digital transformation from planning through monitoring.
You'll partner closely with our Account Executives and cross-functional teams. You'll own technical evaluations, including proofs of value and workshops, shape solution architectures, and represent the voice of the customer to product management. You'll also support GitLab's South Korea go-to-market partners, who act as our regional professional services arm, by helping enable and guide their technical delivery. Your work will drive successful platform adoption, support revenue growth through solution selling, and build long-term, trust-based relationships that show GitLab's differentiated position in an AI-driven DevSecOps landscape.
What you’ll do
Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation to show how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers' technical and business needs across the full software development lifecycle.
Own the technical evaluation process, including solution design, proofs of concept or proofs of value, workshops, and the technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across South Korea to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion, with a focus on enterprise accounts.
Support and enable GitLab's South Korea go-to-market partners, who operate as the region's professional services arm, to promote consistent technical delivery and best practices across partner-led engagements.
Represent GitLab at online and in-person marketing events, including webinars, industry events, booth sessions, presentations, roundtables, panels, demonstration days, and hackathons.
Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab-supported transformation and helping them become GitLab advocates.
Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration and continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment.
Serve as the voice of the customer across product management, engineering, sales, and marketing by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that inform the product roadmap and positioning.
What you’ll bring
Experience engaging with enterprise customers in technical presales, consulting, or similar roles and guiding them through solution design and evaluation.
Proficiency across the software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows, and GitLab or comparable source control and collaboration platforms.
Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, with the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
Clear technical communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt messages for practitioners and senior business and technical decision-makers and represent customer perspectives across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Motivation to continue developing professionally by learning new technologies, deepening GitLab platform expertise, and applying transferable experience from related fields.

Join Anthropic as a Customer Success Manager for Life Sciences. You’ll be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leading organizations working to accelerate scientific discovery, such as research institutes, academic medical centers, and scientific foundations. You’ll help these organizations harness the full potential of Claude through deep product expertise, use case discovery, and hands-on guidance.
You’ll be part of a Research and Life Sciences account team pod, working as one team with your Account Executive and Applied AI partners. Together you’ll shape account strategy with you taking the lead on adoption, change management, and value realization.
This role doesn’t follow a single playbook. You’ll run a range of Customer Success motions, from deep 1:1 strategic partnership to one-to-many programs like webinars, hackathons, and cohort-based enablement. You’ll choose the motion based on top account and customer priorities and the best way to solve for them.
The insights you gather will directly inform our research priorities, product development (including how Claude for Life Sciences evolves), and strategies for beneficial AI deployment. That makes you a key voice in how we build and deliver AI systems that accelerate science for the benefit of society.
Responsibilities
Build trusting, strategic relationships with research leaders, scientists, principal investigators, and program directors to understand their scientific priorities, organizational goals, and impact objectives
Partner closely with your Account Executive and Applied AI counterparts in the Research and Life Sciences pod on shared account plans, bringing in Product, Support, and other teams as needed
Run the right Customer Success motion for each account and customer priority, whether that’s dedicated 1:1 engagement, cohort-based onboarding, hackathons and build days, office hours, or researcher communities
Become an expert in Anthropic’s products, especially Claude for Science, guiding organizations and their researchers and scientists to the right solutions and most impactful use cases
Monitor usage patterns and proactively drive adoption, identifying optimization opportunities and new applications for Claude across your book of business
Develop and execute change management strategies suited to scientific and academic cultures, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and enablement that respects partner capacity, governance requirements, and decision-making processes
Guide partners through the technical and governance foundation for launch, including SSO and provisioning, workspace configuration, and data handling considerations for research and health data (such as HIPAA, IRB, and institutional data policies)
Own account and success plans and run Quarterly Impact Reviews that document and quantify value realized, such as research productivity, time-to-insight, and cost savings, and partner with Marketing on success stories and reference accounts
Establish the repeatable playbooks, templates, and health metrics that define what “great” looks like for customer success in life sciences at Anthropic
You may be a good fit if you have
6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or consulting
3+ years of experience in life sciences research, with exposure to new technologies as a catalyst for accelerating progress
Experience working directly with life sciences organizations, such as academic research institutions, research institutes, foundations, biotech, or pharma, and familiarity with how scientific research is conducted, funded, and governed
An understanding of the regulatory, risk, and compliance needs of the industry
Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models, with an understanding of the expansion levers and success metrics for each
Experience managing dedicated strategic accounts and delivering one-to-many programs, with the judgment to choose the right motion for the customer priority at hand
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including working as part of an account team with Sales and technical partners and advocating effectively for customer needs
Technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns, and the ability to explain them to audiences ranging from bench scientists and computational researchers to institutional leadership. Familiarity with scientific data types, research workflows, or bioinformatics tooling is a strong plus
A data-driven, AI-first way of working, using adoption signals to guide decisions and building Claude-powered workflows into how you engage partners
Passion for both AI and accelerating scientific progress, with a strong interest in ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely, ethically, and deployed to benefit society
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. You are a true team player
