You will help reconstruct electrical distribution networks in 3D by combining LiDAR point cloud data, GIS maps, and drone imagery – contributing directly to the accuracy and reliability of these digital twins. What you’ll be doing: Reconstructing 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data; Placing 3D objects (poles, lines, conductors) to match real-world physical layouts; Aligning original 2D map data with 3D models; Labeling high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects (e.g., equipment damage or wear).
