- Shape decisions through data: Leverage headcount, pipeline, market, and recruiting performance data to generate insights, influence business decisions, and shape workforce and hiring strategy.

Kit https://kit.com/ is the email marketing platform experts choose to grow their audience, deepen their relationships, and build a business around the work they love. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform.
More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote.
We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
THE ROLE
Kit is growing, and so are the legal complexities of our business. We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to help us navigate them with clarity, speed, and commercial savvy. You'll serve as in-house legal subject matter expert, partnering closely with the executive team to lead product legal strategy and execution—especially around privacy, data, AI and compliance, commercial contracts, customer security requirements, and scalable legal support for our teams. A key focus will be helping Kit respond to a growing volume of privacy questions—particularly as one of our newer products, Subscriber Signals https://kit.com/features/signals, evolves by building practical, repeatable systems that provide timely and consistent guidance at scale.
You'll help shape the legal backbone of a fast-moving tech company with multiple revenue streams—including SaaS, digital commerce, paid reccomendations, and advertising—and a rapidly growing platform for creators. To advise the business effectively, you'll develop a deep understanding of Kit, SparkLoop https://sparkloop.app/, Subscriber Signals, and how creators get value from our connected ecosystem of apps and tools. You'll be at the center of complex, cross-functional problems where product, business, and legal strategy meet—all in service of helping creators build more valuable businesses.
YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM
You'll report to our Chief Operating Officer, Brian Bevel https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-bevel-92895ba/, and partner regularly with leaders across product, sales, finance, and people operations. You'll own our core legal work in-house, reduce the need for outside counsel, and know when specialized outside counsel is truly needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- First week: Get up to speed on our business model, current goals, and products. Learn about the product, SparkLoop, Subscriber Signals, and how creators get value from our connected ecosystem of apps and tools. Meet key internal stakeholders and our external counsel. Review our most common legal agreements, privacy questions, and customer security requests to assess where we have risk, opportunity, ambiguity, or recurring work that can be handled more efficiently.
- First month: Get your arms around active data processing, privacy, AI, and other legal initiatives, and build a "what's on deck" view of upcoming legal needs. Map the recurring privacy support questions arising across Kit—particularly around Subscriber Signals, and begin designing a scalable intake, guidance, and escalation system. Partner with Sales, Sponsorships, Security, Product, and Engineering to move faster without cutting corners. Take ownership of GDPR and data compliance vetting and establish a clear process for responding to customer security questionnaires.
- First six months: You’re the go-to partner for legal considerations across the business, particularly for our product, engineering, security, and GTM teams. Build scalable systems—such as playbooks, templates, intake processes, and self-service guidance—for answering recurring privacy, data-use, and compliance questions. Partner throughout the product lifecycle on initiatives and feature releases, with particular attention to Subscriber Signals and our connected ecosystem of products. Prioritize our biggest legal risks, reduce unnecessary reliance on outside counsel, and streamline legal workflows to increase speed, confidence, and self-service.
- First year: Help Kit operate at a higher level of legal maturity across privacy, compliance, product counsel, commercial contracts, and security support. Establish durable systems that allow teams to answer common questions independently while escalating higher-risk matters appropriately. Help us treat privacy, data, and compliance as strategic enablers—not just boxes to check—and significantly reduce our reliance on outside counsel for work we can handle effectively in-house.
WHAT WILL S.E.T. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
Skills
- Deep expertise in data, compliance, and product—this is where you'll spend most of your time.
- Strong ability to navigate U.S. and European data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including familiarity with data controller vs. processor distinctions and how they shape vendor and product decisions.
- Ability to translate privacy and compliance requirements into scalable playbooks, templates, intake processes, and self-service guidance
- Experience supporting customer security questionnaires and partnering effectively with security, sales, product, and engineering teams
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and the legal, privacy, and customer requirements associated with it, even if you haven't directly owned a certification process
- Understanding of intellectual property law, especially related to brand, content, and software
- Understanding of commercial contracts—you'll become the go-to person for these at Kit.
- Clear communicator and trusted advisor—able to simplify complexity and help others make informed decisions
Experiences
- Experience as in-house counsel at a tech company or serving a tech portfolio at a top-tier firm that's well-known for their work with startups (e.g., Fenwick & West, Cooley)
- J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States
- Active member in good standing of a State Bar Association
Traits
- Strategic thinker who sees legal as a lever, not a blocker
- Deeply curious and business-oriented—you start by understanding the goals, then explore the smartest paths to get there.
- Collaborative partner who can navigate conflict productively
- Deep belief that creator success is our success—you consider both Kit and our customers in every recommendation
- A "how might we" problem-solver who finds creative, business-aligned paths through legal challenges
WHAT WON'T SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
- Needing a team of in-house peers or co-counsel to pressure-test every decision—you'll be our sole in-house legal expert, with outside counsel available as needed
- A strongly risk-averse or "no-before-yes" mindset—we need you to help us move, not just stop us from tripping
- Thinking in a legal vacuum—if you're not factoring in our goals, numbers, or creators, your advice won't land
- Struggling with speed or ownership—if you prefer long timelines or wait to be told what to do, this won't be the right environment. We move quickly and expect people to take initiative, spot problems, and drive solutions.

We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is building the connected AI workspace where teams and agents think together, bringing knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools into one place. Joining Corporate Accounting means helping build the financial foundation for a business shaping how work gets done in the AI era.
As a Senior Accountant on Corporate Accounting, you’ll own key areas of general ledger accounting and the month-end close, helping ensure accurate, timely reporting. WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Own assigned areas across monthly, quarterly, and annual close: Prepare accurate journal entries and adjustments with clear supporting documentation, and complete close work on time.
- By your 90th day, independently manage your assigned close areas, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve outstanding items with a clear rhythm for identifying and escalating issues.
- By your 90th day, analyze financial results and explain variance drivers in management reporting, partnering with FP&A and other stakeholders to make the numbers clear and actionable.
- By your 90th day, use AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline analysis, reconciliations, and recurring workflows—freeing time for higher-judgment accounting work.
- By the end of your first year, strengthen controls and accounting processes across your areas, supporting accurate financial statements.
- By the end of your first year, drive scalable improvements across Corporate Accounting, collaborating with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other teams to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting, applied to produce accurate and well-supported accounting outcomes.
- Progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years with hands-on ownership of month-end close processes.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and an active, practical approach to using AI and automation to streamline accounting workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional partnerships and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including explaining fluctuations and their business drivers.
- Ownership, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset: you look for ways to make the work more accurate, scalable, and easier for others to build on.

🎯 Your main goal will be to design and scale the programs, systems, and playbooks that help n8n retain, grow, and delight our most strategic enterprise customers, while working with the scaled Customer Success team to ensure a cohesive customer journey across segments.
To make that happen, you’ll turn customer insights and company goals into repeatable programs that enable our Customer Success team to operate effectively at scale:
BUILD AND SCALE CUSTOMER SUCCESS PROGRAMS

- Develop customer segmentation strategies and codify the engagement models and playbooks CSMs should use across different customer tiers.
- Create scalable enablement materials, including playbooks, templates, battlecards, and training, so programs are executed consistently across the team.
TURN CUSTOMER DATA INTO ACTION
- Build and maintain our customer health scoring model in partnership with RevOps and Data, using meaningful signals of customer risk, adoption, and expansion opportunity.
- Partner with Customer Success leadership and operations to translate retention and expansion goals into clear initiatives, timelines, metrics, and operating rhythms.
- Track program performance across metrics such as adoption, NRR, churn, CSAT, and NPS, identifying what is working and where we should iterate.
CONNECT CUSTOMER INSIGHT ACROSS N8N
- Lead cross-functional initiatives such as voice-of-customer programs, customer advisory boards, and product feedback loops.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, RevOps, and Engineering to ensure customer insights inform decisions across the business.
- Build mechanisms that turn frontline customer feedback into structured, actionable insights for relevant teams.
DRIVE ADOPTION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Lead change management for new Customer Success tools, programs, and processes, including communication, training, rollout, and adoption.
- Gather feedback from CSMs and stakeholders to continuously improve programs and remove friction from how the team operates.
- Take an iterative approach to program development, launching practical first versions, measuring their impact, and improving them quickly.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🚀 Customer Success program experience: You have 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Strategy & Operations, or a related function, including at least 2 years focused on building programs or processes rather than directly managing accounts.
- 📊 Analytical mindset: You’re comfortable using customer and revenue data to define metrics, identify patterns, and measure program impact in tools and systems.
- 🧭 Cross-functional project leadership: You have strong project management skills and experience leading initiatives involving stakeholders across teams such as Sales, Product, Marketing, and RevOps.
- 💬 Clear communication: You communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally, and you’re comfortable presenting recommendations and results to senior leadership.
- ⚡ Bias toward action: You’re comfortable operating with ambiguity, launching a strong v1, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly based on what you learn.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 📈 High-growth SaaS experience: You’ve worked in a fast-growing, product-led SaaS environment where processes and programs needed to evolve quickly.
- 🔧 Customer Success tooling: You have hands-on experience with Customer Success platforms such as Gainsight, Catalyst, or Vitally and CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- 🤖 Technical product exposure: You have experience working with workflow automation, developer tools, or another technical product used by technical teams.
- 🎙️ Voice of the customer: You’ve built or scaled a customer advisory board, voice-of-customer program, or another structured customer feedback initiative.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how Customer Success operates as we scale. Your work will directly influence how we retain and grow strategic customers, how our CSMs engage them, and how customer insight feeds back into teams across the company.
You’ll work highly cross-functionally and have meaningful visibility into some of the most important customer and revenue challenges at one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups. You’ll join a remote-first environment where autonomy, experimentation, and continuous improvement are part of how we work — and where you’ll have room to build programs that can scale with the company.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Location:
This role is fully remote but must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time.
About this role
Individual Giving has set an objective to double new donor acquisition in 2027 and expand our awareness through brand ads for key segments. Paid media is the biggest lever we have to get there, and as Growth Manager, Paid Media, you'll own delivery of this important priority. To help get us there, GiveDirectly is planning to expand its spend on paid media.
We are looking for someone who will be a strong cultural fit—curious, keen not to follow industry standards but to look for disproportionately high-leverage opportunities, keen to constantly learn and adjust, and comfortable launching a paid program without agency support. This role would suit someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to pivot and change tactics based on data and changing circumstances.
Reporting to our Director of Individual Giving, you’ll manage all paid acquisition for Individual Giving across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, and also work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage all upper-funnel media buys (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, etc.) for both the Individual Giving and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for executing our paid media program end to end, including negotiating and managing contracts, creating ads, capturing screenshots for documentation, publishing campaigns, and monitoring performance. You will also build our tracking and attribution systems and use that data to grow both one-time and monthly giving. To do so, we are looking for a strong individual contributor who is comfortable executing within the platforms without a big team or agency.
The Individual Giving team is responsible for generating revenue across donors with an annual gift below $50k. To do so, the Individual Giving team executes compelling public fundraising campaigns, drives creative donor-facing content, and tests new marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our donor base and raising awareness of direct cash transfers. You’ll join a small but high-performing team that runs several campaigns at once and works with a lot of independence. You’ll partner with Brand and Marketing colleagues each campaign cycle to ensure integrated marketing across all public-facing materials.
Level:
Manager (we are willing to hire at Senior Manager for more experienced candidates)
Reports To:
Director of Individual Giving
Travel Requirement:
Must be able to travel ~1–2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits
What you’ll bring:
3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with a proven track record running paid media to a conversion or revenue target, in-house or agency, across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M a year with a track record of strong performance measurement, with the discipline to trust your own data over platform recommendations and the judgment to know when to scale a channel, cut it, or admit it isn't working—pause and reset.
A genuine test-and-learn habit: you design multivariable testing across creative, audience, messaging, and landing pages, using these insights to scale the program.
Strong written communication, the ability to own creative direction of ads (from conception and drafting through launch), and experience with or a strong eye for graphic design (Figma, Canva). You’ll work with content creation teams for bigger projects, but initial ideation and direction should come from you.
Strong, succinct communication, and the ability to work productively with a Brand and Marketing team focused on brand awareness.
Alignment with
GiveDirectly’s values
and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity.
Experience with tracking and attribution to ensure detailed reports are shared with senior management.
Bonus skills:
Experience with our tech stack (WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk, Ahrefs) or similar tools.
Experience with paid ads with a non-profit of a similar size or an agency supporting non-profits.
What you’ll do
Own paid media strategy and performance to execute growth and brand goals
Develop and execute the paid digital fundraising strategy that acquires new donors, grows revenue, and strengthens long-term supporter value across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging platforms (approx. 50% of time).
Run top-of-funnel brand ads, from placement and contracting to creative direction and development, including podcasts, OOH, and connected TV (approx. 30% of time).
Manage and optimize paid investment daily, monitoring spend, pacing, cost per acquisition, and conversion, and reallocating budget as performance dictates.
Run a continuous test-and-learn program across audiences, creative messaging, channels, landing pages, and donation experiences, and turn results into decisions rather than reports.
Make key and strategic recommendations to the Director of Individual Giving and VP of Marketing on where budget spend should be allocated based on performance data.
Grow one-time and monthly giving through paid
Run acquisition and conversion campaigns for both one-time and monthly giving, testing paid tactics to grow the recurring program—the fastest-growing part of our portfolio.
Optimize the digital supporter journey so paid campaigns connect cleanly to landing pages, donation forms, email, and CRM, maximizing conversion and retention.
Analyze acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention trends by segment to inform where the next dollar goes.
Measurement & Reporting
Stand up standardized paid-channel attribution and UTM tracking so acquisition spend is evaluable outside the ad platforms.
Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign, website, and CRM data into a single view of what each channel returns.
Develop a forecasting model that projects cost per acquisition and revenue by channel, so budget increases are decisions rather than bets.
Report to senior management on budget and paid campaign performance on a bi-weekly basis.
This role might not be for you if
You are used to relying on an agency for recommendations or ad builds in the platforms themselves.
You do not have experience/familiarity with both upper-funnel and direct conversion paid advertising.
You are not comfortable managing projects from A–Z, including ideation, planning, launching, testing, iterating, and evaluating.
What success looks like in 12–18 months
A clear, measurable contribution to the 2027 goal of doubling new donor acquisition, with a 50–70% share of new monthly donors acquired through paid.
The Google Ad Grant is fully deployed against upper-funnel objectives, in compliance, and contributing measurable qualified traffic.
A documented acquisition model forecasts cost per acquisition and revenue by channel accurately enough to justify a materially larger paid budget.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
We're building AI-native development practices into how this team works at a foundational level. That means infrastructure design needs to account for a new kind of collaborator: AI agents that generate, deploy, and operate software. The Staff Infrastructure Engineer on this team will keep systems running, define what safe, observable, AI-assisted infrastructure operations look like in practice, and set the standard for how the broader engineering organization follows.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
The Billing Platform Engineering team owns the systems that make Docker's commercial model real. You'll work on problems like:
- How do we design infrastructure that makes AI-generated deployments safe to ship and easy to roll back?
- How do we instrument billing systems so that failures — billing miscalculations, entitlement gaps, payment errors — are detected immediately and unambiguously?
- How do we build infrastructure that scales with usage-based billing workloads without manual intervention?
- How do we make the developer experience on this team faster and more reliable — local environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and evolve the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services: compute, storage, networking, CI/CD, and observability
- Design and maintain IaC (Terraform) for billing system infrastructure on AWS; set module patterns and standards for the team
- Build and own observability systems — metrics, logging, alerting — with a focus on billing accuracy and payment reliability
- Define deployment patterns and runbooks that work well in an AI-agent-assisted development workflow: clear rollback procedures, safe promotion gates, automated validation
- Partner with software engineers on service design — bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation before code is written
- Identify systemic risks and drive improvements that span team or organizational boundaries
- Lead incident response for billing system issues. This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Mentor engineers across the team; your technical judgment should raise the floor for everyone
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems at scale
- Deep AWS expertise: ECS or EKS, RDS (Postgres preferred), networking, IAM, cost management — you've operated these systems under real load and real incidents
- Expert-level Terraform; you've designed reusable module patterns and set standards others follow
- Experience building and owning observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, or similar) at an organizational level — not just using them
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD systems — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent — including pipeline design and developer experience ownership
- Kubernetes at an operational and architectural level
- A track record of identifying systemic risks and driving improvements that span team or organizational boundaries
- Security-first mindset: threat modeling, blast radius analysis, least-privilege by default, audit trails as a design requirement
- Strong written English; at Staff level, written communication is how you scale your influence across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
WHAT SETS YOU APART
You don't wait for problems to be handed to you — you find them, frame them, and drive the solution. You've operated at a scope where your decisions affected multiple teams or systems, and you know how to build consensus and move work forward without direct authority. You've thought seriously about what infrastructure needs to look like when AI agents are generating and shipping code — safe deployment patterns, strong observability, clean rollback — and you want to help define that standard here. Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems infrastructure is a meaningful plus.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
You will ship code in your first week. We run an agent-first development workflow — infrastructure changes start with a plan, specifications are written before generation, and every change is reviewed before it merges — and onboarding is no exception. You will get hands-on with the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services early, shadow on-call, and build a clear picture of the system before you start making bigger changes. By the end of 30 days you will have shipped real work and know where the most important problems are.
FIRST 90 DAYS
You will have taken ownership of one or more infrastructure components and delivered an improvement from design to production with measurable impact. You will be an active participant in deployment and reliability discussions, bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation early — before code is written. You will be a full participant in the on-call rotation and have begun shaping the team's technical direction.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK
You will be the team's trusted authority on billing infrastructure. You will have driven meaningful improvements to observability, deployment safety, or platform reliability — and your work will be directly visible in the resilience and correctness of systems that handle real financial transactions for millions of Docker users. You will have helped define what AI-agent-assisted infrastructure operations look like done right, and that standard will be visible beyond this team.
Docker considers sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
Compensation & Equity
United States: $170,350 – $275,550 + equity

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page https://www.kraken.com/culture to understand what drives us and how we work.
THE TEAM
Derivatives and Trading products sit in one of the most heavily regulated and fastest-moving parts of Payward's regulatory perimeter, and the estate is still expanding across a US venue and clearing stack, a UK venue, EEA distribution and a Bermuda entity. Today that work is owned in fragments. This is a net-new, function-owning role created to put global derivatives structuring strategy to a single senior owner. This DGC will be responsible for the global suite of derivatives products as well as Payward’s trading products.
Products. Futures and options across the group, and margin in the US, and a set of trading products, including but not limited to leveraged and liquidity products, prediction markets, indices and market data, evaluation-based trading services and structured yield. The DGC will help define the delineation of these products between the new function and the existing Product Legal team.
Entities and regulators. A US venue and clearing stack (FCM/NFA, DCM, DCO), a UK FCA-authorised derivatives venue, EEA derivatives distribution under CySEC permissions, and a Bermuda DABA entity serving the rest of world and others. The general counsel of our acquired US futures brokerage (NinjaTrader) reports into this function.
Team. Senior derivatives and trading counsel across the US, UK and EEA, with the function set to grow, and the general counsel of the acquired US futures brokerage.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own global derivatives structuring strategy — product structure, venue and entity architecture, clearing models, and how a single coherent derivatives offering is delivered to clients across several separately licensed entities.
- Together with Payward’s Regulatory Legal team, solve the cross-entity problems that sit in no single product — hub-and-spoke architecture, unified balances, cross-margining, and where risk and client relationships actually sit across the group. These are the hardest questions we answer.
- Be the named senior legal owner for the derivatives and trading product lines, wired into the product launch process from the start rather than consulted at the end, and the single senior route into Legal for derivatives and trading.
- Lead and build the team — hire, level and develop senior derivatives counsel across jurisdictions, and build depth and succession into a function that is currently thin at the top.
- Partner with Global Policy and Government Relations as the senior legal counterpart for derivatives regulatory engagement with the CFTC, NFA, FCA, BMA, CySEC and others, pre-socialising positions with regulators and internal leadership before they land, not after.
- Support the supervised estates that carry derivatives permissions, working with Regulatory Legal on continuous supervisory relationships and on new permissions and variations tied to product launches.
- Bring structuring judgement in-house, and direct external counsel where genuinely specialist input is required.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
- Attorney admitted to practice in the US, or qualified lawyer (Solicitor/Barrister of England & Wales, Irish Solicitor/Barrister, or equivalent admitted in an EU Member State).
- 18+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in financial services regulatory law gained at a regulated financial services institution, major liquidity provider or in a law firm/private practice supporting such clients, with demonstrated ability to independently own BAU regulatory workstreams.
- Experience supporting regulator engagement (e.g., with the CFTC, NFA, FCA, Cysec, or an equivalent EU competent authority), including notifications, information requests, and supervisory correspondence.
- Substantial senior in-house or equivalent experience in derivatives legal, with demonstrated ownership of structuring strategy rather than transactional execution alone.
- Deep, expert-level command of at least one of the following derivatives regulatory regimes — US (CFTC, NFA; FCM, DCM and DCO structures), UK (FCA), EEA, or an offshore regime (e.g., Bermuda) — together with a high degree of fluency in at least one other. No single regime is treated as the required one; what matters is genuine mastery of one and strong working command of a second.
- Direct experience with virtual asset markets. This combination is scarce and it is the core of the role.
- Experience structuring a product offering across multiple licensed entities in different jurisdictions, and holding a view on where activity, risk and the client relationship should sit.
- A track record of building or materially scaling a legal function or team, including hiring, levelling and succession.
- The range to operate at function level, setting strategy for the function as a whole, organising it to stay ahead of the regulatory perimeter, and holding senior lawyers to account for results and behaviour, not only for output.
- Credibility with regulators and the judgement to take positions in front of them.
- Comfort operating as the senior legal voice in a fast-moving, product-led business where the regulatory perimeter changes underneath you, and comfort staying close to the work rather than managing at a distance.
NICE TO HAVES
- Exposure to prediction markets, margin lending, or tokenized and structured products.
- Experience integrating acquired regulated entities, and their legal teams, into a group legal function.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is building the operating system for knowledge work, and we want people to be able to do substantive knowledge work from their phone.
A great native app is what makes that possible. On Android, that means Notion should feel like it was built for the platform: fast to open, smooth to scroll, and reliable offline or on a spotty connection. We’re investing in a more native foundation for how people read, write, and edit in Notion. That lets users capture ideas in the moment, find answers across their workspace, manage tasks and projects, and work with teammates, with the speed, polish, and dependability people expect from the best apps on their phone.
As an Android engineer, you’ll help build that native foundation, from how pages render and how people write and edit, to the navigation and app chrome people use every day, like Home, Search, and Inbox, along with the shared frameworks the rest of the app is built on. You’ll work across the Android stack, with chances to dig into our shared Rust layer and the AI tools we use for mobile development. Along the way, you’ll pair with experienced product and mobile AI engineers to find what slows the team down, try new Android capabilities, and help decide what ships in the app.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Ship the core Notion experience on Android: Build and polish the surfaces people use every day—opening and reading pages, writing and editing, navigating the app, and the Home, Search, and Inbox tabs—on a native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose stack that is fast to open, smooth to scroll, and dependable offline.
- Build with product and design, and iterate fast: Partner with product managers and designers to turn ideas into shipped features, then use feedback and data to make them better. Use AI coding tools and agents to build, test, and investigate faster, while you stay accountable for review, validation, and quality.
- By the end of your first year, own a core product area: Take a core part of the Android app, like Home, Inbox, or a piece of the editor, from idea to launch, and shape it into an experience that helps people do their life’s work from their phone.
- Make the app feel fast and reliable: Find and fix issues in startup time, scrolling, typing latency, crashes, and memory use across the surfaces you own, and add the tests and monitoring that catch regressions before users do.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- Solid Android fundamentals: You’ve built and shipped Android apps, through work, internships, or your own projects, and you’re comfortable with modern Android—Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, and Gradle. Experience with a large, modular codebase is a plus.
- Care for native UI and performance: You enjoy making UI feel fast and smooth, and you’re curious about things like custom text rendering, complex lazy lists, or rich-text editing. Experience with performance profiling, realtime collaboration, or offline sync is a plus.
- Product instincts: You care about how the app feels to use, not just how it works. You sweat the details of interactions and polish, and you use feedback and data to decide what to build next.
- Thoughtful problem-solving and clear communication: You build a clear picture of the problem before jumping to a fix, you can explain trade-offs in writing, and you ask for help early when you’re stuck. Experience moving a hybrid or web-based surface to native, or building something from 0→1, is a plus.
- AI-native, end-to-end engineering practice: You use AI tools and agents as real collaborators, framing tasks clearly, reviewing generated changes, testing behavior, and designing workflows that make the broader team more effective. Web experience (TypeScript, React, Node) is welcome but not required.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $168,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATES AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.
