ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

- Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents: We believe the best managers lead from being hands-on and close to the work. Our managers operate as ICs for their first 3-6 months at Sierra, and then evolve to manage and grow a team of engineers, all while building highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical, and directly drive Sierra’s growth. These aren’t prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce. You’ll ensure technical excellence, operational reliability, and high customer impact.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): You’ll both build directly, and guide your team through the full lifecycle—from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration—coaching engineers to set and maintain the standard for ADLC best practices. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, meet customer needs, and scale effectively in production environments.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll collaborate with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and guide your team in building AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You’ll also work with innovative startups in Silicon Valley, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Shape the future of the platform: Your team’s direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform. You’ll surface unmet needs, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra’s product.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience building and scaling, as well as leading engineering teams that build and scale, end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to guide teams through ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- A leadership style that comes from being hands-on, and blends high standards with empathy, fostering both speed and quality
- Proven ability to work closely with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- AI-related experience (experience developing AI agents a plus).
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high ownership and urgency
- Familiarity with tools for today’s AI agents: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Site Specialist to join our IT Team at Ramp based in our San Francisco office! This is a temporary full-time on-site role that blends hands-on, in-person site support with ownership of our core SaaS application stack, and we weigh both sides equally. On the site side, you’ll be the primary IT presence in SF — owning deskside support, onboarding/offboarding, endpoint and AV support, and office inventory. On the application side, you’ll administer the tools the whole company depends on — Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and a growing set of SaaS platforms — owning provisioning, access, portfolio, renewals, integrations, and automation. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a smooth on-the-ground operation while also thinking like a systems owner who scales IT through automation and sound identity practices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide in-person support at our San Francisco office 5 days/week, acting as the site’s primary IT point of contact.
- Perform IT Support Specialist (L4) duties, encompassing all responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist role.
- Provide deskside/walk-up support and resolve IT tickets end-to-end.
- Handle advanced troubleshooting and internal escalation before handoff to Pod 2 – IT Engineering.
- Triage and field support requests across tickets, email, Slack, and the team-it-ops and help-it distros; proactively work to minimize volume and improve SLAs.
- Direct and review Serval (AI support agent) workflow runs — step in when automated resolution fails, and contribute workflow builds and guidance improvements.
- Coordinate application onboarding/offboarding tied to lifecycle events (joiner/mover/leaver) — provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes across the SaaS stack.
- Administer core applications (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and other SaaS tools): user lifecycle, group/role management, and SSO/SCIM integrations.
- Own application portfolio management — seat counts, usage tracking, and license optimization.
- Manage SaaS renewals — tracking contract dates and coordinating renewals/cancellations.
- Partner with Pod 3 on SaaS App Strategy execution from an operational/usage standpoint.
- Build and maintain integrations and automations to reduce manual work and enforce least-privilege access.
- Manage on-site hardware inventory, lifecycle, and procurement coordination — stock levels, reorder requests, and coordinating with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW, Amazon).
- Support AV/conference room reliability in the SF office.
- Take ownership of small and large projects, partnering with internal and external teams to deliver.
- Perform recurring audits on application licenses, access, and hardware; drive remediation.
- Create technical and user-facing documentation; push the team toward industry best practices.
- Be an advocate for our users — understand their challenges and remove blockers with empathy.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in an enterprise-size organization, with hands-on experience in both on-site IT support and SaaS/application administration.
- Strong knowledge of our core tech stack: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and modern SaaS tools.
- Solid understanding of User Lifecycle Management, identity/access management, and least-privilege principles.
- Experience with SSO/SCIM provisioning and building integrations or automations across SaaS platforms.
- Experience managing SaaS application portfolios, license optimization, and vendor renewals.
- Experience with deskside support, ticket resolution, and knowing when to escalate to an engineering team.
- Comfort owning the physical site experience — endpoint troubleshooting, AV, and inventory — alongside back-end application administration.
- Strong attention to detail, execution-oriented, and comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional work.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience in high-growth startups.
- Experience managing macOS/Windows in hybrid/remote environments.
- Scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python, API integrations, workflow tools).
- Experience with AI-assisted support tooling and workflow automation (e.g., Serval or similar).
- Experience coordinating hardware procurement with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW).
- Okta Certified Professional / Administrator.
- Slack Certified Admin.
- Google Workspace Administrator experience.

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
The Data team works across Linear, supporting Product, Engineering, and GTM. We own our data pipelines, warehouse, dashboards, analysis, and integrations with third-party tools. As a small team, we focus on building systems that make data accessible and useful across Linear. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape how we architect, build, and use data as we grow.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you’ll do
- Work across Product and GTM (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance) to turn ambiguous questions and operational needs into useful metrics, models, analyses, and workflows
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines that create trusted views of our product, customers, and business
- Design clear, maintainable data models and improve the testing, documentation, performance, and reliability of our data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex, and dig deeper when the answer requires more than a chart
- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and partner with GTM Engineering on the scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools that help our teams scale
- Balance fast, pragmatic answers with durable solutions, recognizing when a one-off request should become a reusable model or workflow
- Find ways to leverage emerging tools, LLMs, and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for correctness
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering, ideally at a fast-moving software company
- Exceptional SQL and strong hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record of owning data projects end-to-end, from shaping an ambiguous problem to shipping something people rely on
- Strong data modeling judgment: you think clearly about grain, reusable components, interfaces, dependencies, and maintainability without relying on a single prescribed methodology
- Analytical judgment: you know when to answer quickly, when to investigate deeply, and how to turn complex findings into a clear recommendation
- Comfortable moving between technical implementation and business context, from debugging a data model to understanding product adoption or sales efficiency
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, pragmatic, and willing to challenge a request or approach when something does not make sense
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering directly with both technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems you’ll work in. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and working across the full lifecycle of data.
- Data Warehouse: Snowflake, dbt Cloud
- Dashboards / Analysis: Metabase, Hex
- ETL / rETL: Hevo, Fivetran
- GTM tools: Hubspot, Pocus, Clay
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Remote-first with no required commute

We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- GTM technical expert: Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process by scoping customer use cases, articulating business value, designing and demoing Sierra’s incredible platform, leading technical and architecture reviews, and serving as the trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Cross-functional work: You will work directly with our Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to both drive our GTM function, as well as continuously improve our Agents through our customer-driven product development philosophy.
- Lead & support our customers: As a GTM and technical leader in the earliest conversations with our future customers, you will both understand and anticipate their needs to continue our industry-leading AI solution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Language fluency - professional fluency in both Spanish and English
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to leverage AI tools efficiently as a regular part of your technical sales motion — discovery prep, solution design, demo and prototype building, technical proposals. With that, you know where these tools can help and where human judgment still is required. Importantly, you own the accuracy of anything you put in front of a customer, whether or not AI helped you build it. This ownership looks like us not saying "[AI tool of choice] built this", but "I built this with [AI tool of choice]."
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience translating code, technical logic and user requirements to product and engineering requirements.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses.
- Language fluency - professional fluency in both Brazilian Portuguese and English
WHAT WE OFFER
We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot

BE YOU, WITH US
We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

Linear is in a unique position—we are profitable, which gives us the flexibility to invest thoughtfully as we grow. We want to build a company that scales well—not just in our product, but in how we run our GTM programs. In this role, you’ll design and evolve the systems and process that power our deal desk process. This person will help build the mechanics behind our sales-led deals: quotes, order forms, pricing, discount approvals, and contract terms. A strong candidate has run quote-to-cash at a SaaS company and can spot where the process is slow, manual, or leaky.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America (west coast). We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you'll do
- Own the quote-to-order-form workflow: accurate quotes, correct terms, and a clean path from verbal yes to signed and billed
- Build and run the deal approval and discount matrix, so Account Executives know what they can self-serve and what needs sign-off
- Be the single point of contact for deal structuring questions that today land on Account Executives mid-deal
- Partner with Finance and Legal to keep the order-to-cash process clean, controlled, and free of revenue leakage
- Support usage-based and consumption deals as AI billing rolls out, from how they are quoted through the hand-off to billing
- Find and remove manual work: automate what can be automated, document what needs to be documented
- Help us get and stay audit ready by making sure deals are recorded correctly
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years in deal desk, order management, revenue operations, or quote-to-cash, ideally at a high-growth SaaS company
- Strong command of the full quote-to-cash cycle, from pricing and approvals through order form and billing hand-off
- Comfortable building process from scratch: workflows, approval logic, controls, and documentation, without a playbook handed to you
- Sound judgment on the tradeoff between deal speed and control, and on sensitive pricing and deal information
- A clear communicator who can hold a deal conversation with an Account Executive, Finance, and a customer, and have each one walk away with what they need
- Proficiency with CRM and quoting tools; experience with usage-based billing, multi-currency, or CPQ is a strong plus
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Remote-first with no required commute

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Customer Activation Manager at Ramp, you’ll help partner-sourced customers improve how they manage their finances. You’ll own a book of approximately 80 customers, guiding them through implementation and helping their teams adopt new workflows, including Ramp’s AI and agentic finance capabilities.
This role goes beyond getting customers live. You’ll work with finance leaders, their teams, and external partners to understand what needs to change, address resistance, and make sure customers see measurable value from Ramp. We’re looking for someone who’s led customers through change, is comfortable working with CFOs and Controllers, and uses AI regularly in their own work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Guide partner-sourced customers from implementation through ongoing workflow adoption, with accountability for time to value and business outcomes.
- Build a change management plan for each account: identify stakeholders, understand what’s slowing adoption, and help customer teams work through it.
- Help CFOs and Controllers measure Ramp’s impact, including improvements in close cycles, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI.
- Manage relationships across the customer’s organization, including finance leadership relationships you’ll own independently.
- Use AI to prepare for calls, build customer materials, synthesize data, spot account risks, and reduce repetitive work.
- Help customers evaluate and adopt Ramp’s agentic finance capabilities, including the changes these workflows require in their teams’ day-to-day work.
- Work with Channel Partner Managers, Partner Consulting, Account Executives, and Technical Consulting to coordinate implementations and identify opportunities to expand Ramp’s use.
- Share recurring customer needs, product gaps, and feedback with Product.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years in customer success, consulting, implementations, or a similar customer-facing role, with a consistent record of delivering customer outcomes and exceeding goals.
- Experience driving workflow adoption and managing organizational change, including navigating stakeholder resistance. Finance or fintech experience is helpful but not required.
- Regular, hands-on use of AI to prepare for calls, synthesize information, create customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks.
- The ability to build a business case for workflow changes and explain their financial impact to CFOs and Controllers, connecting implementation progress to business results.
- Enough technical depth to work with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow design, and explain those topics to customers.
- Success in a fast-paced GTM environment, ideally at a SaaS or fintech company.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to get work done across Sales, Product, Operations, and other GTM teams.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience helping customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows, with an understanding of what gets in the way of adoption.
- Familiarity with FP&A, accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero, expense management, or other finance workflows.
- Measurable results in expansion, retention, or time to value.
- Experience at a company where AI was central to the product or how the team worked.
- Experience managing 50+ customers at once, prioritizing across accounts, and turning open-ended problems into clear plans.
- Experience working with third-party partners or consultants on customer activation and new use cases.
- Experience in a high-growth company or startup, where priorities and processes change quickly.
