ecosystems in the 23 countries we operate, so brands can leverage consumer insights, connect with shoppers via advertising in-app and off-app and deliver unforgettable brand experiences to our millions of shoppers.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced B2B Lifecycle Marketing Automation Manager to join our Wolt Ads team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Wolt Ads Lead Lifecycle process and for our customer relationship management (CRM) activities to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The Marketing Automation Manager will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective communications campaigns that increase customer loyalty and lifetime value.
About the team
Our Wolt Ads Product team is responsible for building our Ads business across 23 countries. Together with our in-market sales teams, the Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for setting up automated marketing communication programs that create, grow and retain Wolt Ads customers for both restaurants, retail and brands, as well as integrating communications with our Sales and Account management processes.
You will understand lead generation, including lead scoring and qualification, and partner with local Ad managers and Sales Ops. You'll provide guidance, reporting and lead-stage insights so Salesforce follow-up on leads is consistent across countries.
You will need to be a strong communicator with the ability to create and analyze reports about the customer lifecycle and client re-engagement. SQL is a plus, as are BI skills such as Looker and strong Excel skills.
In this role, you will be reporting to our B2B Lifecycle Marketing Lead, and working with key stakeholders across B2B Marketing, Global Ads and Wolt Ads Strategy teams.
What you’ll be doing
Own and develop the Wolt Ads lifecycle marketing strategy across restaurants, retail partners, brands and agencies, focusing on activation, retention, reactivation and growth.
Build and optimise automated, personalised customer journeys across channels such as email, in-app messaging, push notifications and SMS.
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to improve lead nurturing, qualification and handoff, ensuring a consistent experience across markets.
Use customer data and segmentation to identify opportunities, personalise campaigns and improve the customer experience throughout the lifecycle.
Measure and report on lifecycle performance, including conversion, retention and revenue, using insights and A/B testing to improve results.
Work with Data and Engineering teams to maintain accurate customer data and reliable integrations between Salesforce, Customer.io and other systems.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product and local teams to plan and deliver campaigns that scale across markets, while following data privacy and communication best practices.
Manage and develop a Junior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, providing coaching, feedback and clear priorities.
Scope and accountability:
You will be accountable for: revenue influenced by lifecycle programmes; lead-to-first-campaign conversion and time to first campaign; retention and repeat-campaign rate; data quality and sync health in Customer.io; and the output and development of one direct report.
You will independently: diagnose funnel drop-offs and redesign journeys to fix them; prioritise competing requests from Sales, Product and Marketing against a single communications calendar; and adapt programmes to local languages, regulations and sales processes across 23 countries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, in a B2B, ads or SaaS environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
SQL and BI skills (e.g. Looker) are a plus.
Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform such as Customer.io (or similar) and with Salesforce.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience designing A/B and incrementality tests and measuring revenue influence.
Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations and best practices.
Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
