About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic’s engineers are building some of the most ambitious AI systems and applications in the world. We also help engineers, architects, and technical practitioners across Anthropic, our partners, and our customers learn to build with Claude.
Until now, technical instruction has largely been a shared responsibility. We are building a dedicated technical instruction function to make that learning exceptional and ensure that everyone who teaches in Anthropic’s technical programs meets a consistent, high bar.
We are looking for a Technical Instructor Lead in New York to help bring that standard to life. About half of your time will be spent delivering ILT hands-on technical instruction in New York and remotely across European time zones. The other half will be spent developing other instructors, running train-the-trainer programs, and improving the quality and consistency of technical instruction across programs.
You are an engineer who teaches and a teacher who makes other teachers better. You can build an agent live in front of a skeptical staff engineer, diagnose a broken lab while a room of learners waits, and adapt when a lesson is not landing. You can also watch another instructor teach for ten minutes and identify the one change that will materially improve their next session.
This is not primarily an instructional design or classroom facilitation role. You should be comfortable writing code, debugging technical systems, and teaching practitioners who may know more than you do about their particular domain.
You will report to the Head of Technical Training.
Key responsibilities
Deliver hands-on technical instruction across Anthropic’s onboarding, residency, and technical enablement programs, in person in New York and remotely across European time zones.
Model excellent technical teaching for audiences ranging from small, interactive labs to 100+ technical practitioners, adapting to different levels of experience and technical depth.
Run train-the-trainer programs for internal experts, contract instructors, and training partners, using Anthropic’s practice-teach, feedback, and certification processes.
Coach and calibrate instructors through live and recorded observations, actionable feedback, and recommendations on readiness to teach specific content.
Partner with technical experts to turn subject matter expertise into effective sessions, labs, exercises, and demonstrations, and improve content based on what happens in the room.
Own instructional quality in assigned programs, staffing yourself and cleared instructors into East Coast program calendars and ensuring delivery meets Anthropic’s standards.
Use learner and instructor data to identify gaps in instruction and recommend improvements to curriculum, delivery, and instructor development.
Help evolve Anthropic’s technical instruction function, bringing your experience from the room into our standards, instructor development practices, and approach to scaling quality.
Minimum qualifications
6+ years of relevant professional experience across software engineering, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, technical education, or another technically deep role.
3+ years of hands-on technical instruction, including teaching engineers in live environments both in person and remotely. You know how to make difficult technical concepts click and how to adapt when they do not.
Production engineering experience. You have written and shipped production software and can engage credibly with experienced engineers on architecture, implementation, debugging, and technical tradeoffs.
Recent hands-on AI development. Within the past three years, you have built or debugged applications using LLM APIs, agents, tool use, MCP, or related technologies. You are comfortable with rapidly changing AI development tools and unfamiliar technical problems.
Instructor development experience. You have helped other instructors or technical presenters improve through observation, structured feedback, practice teaching, or train-the-trainer programs.
New York City location or willingness to relocate. You will work from our NYC office whenever an instructor-led program is in session there, typically around three days per week. The role includes approximately 25% travel to San Francisco and, over time, Europe.
Preferred qualifications
Experience designing or operating a train-the-trainer, instructor certification, or observer-calibration program.
A portfolio of sessions, labs, or courses you have designed and taught, plus material you created so others could teach it.
Experience teaching across time zones or to European audiences, including coaching instructors from recorded sessions.
Experience using Claude Code or a comparable agentic coding tool as a significant part of your engineering workflow.
Experience building with the Claude Developer Platform through Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Foundry, or comparable infrastructure.
Experience with public speaking, conference workshops, or developer advocacy.
Deep enthusiasm for AI and a genuine commitment to building and deploying it responsibly.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Fin
, now part of Salesforce, is on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences.
Our AI Agent Fin is the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today, enabling businesses to deliver impeccable, always-on customer support across the customer journey, from service, to sales, to ecommerce. Powered by our own AI models, Fin resolves complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration. Fin can also be combined with our natively integrated Intercom help desk, giving modern support teams one single system.
Together with Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success, we're building the future of customer experience. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword, it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing, and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI.
Ready to level up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place. Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
What's the opportunity?
At Fin, we believe every business needs an AI Agent for their customers and an AI Agent for their team. For customer experience teams, AI Agents are moving far beyond customer communication, to doing the vast majority of complex customer operations work and moving beyond taking direction from the human team, to giving direction, coordinating and undertaking work under human supervision.
We built and launched Operator this year - an internal Agent for customer operations. Operator deeply understands everything happening in a business's customer experience, finds the insights and areas for improvement, delivers recommendations, and makes the changes itself with permission. It’s a new category of Agent and is a hit with our customers.
This highly strategic role owns the end to end PMM work for Operator, working across product, marketing, GTM and leadership. You'll build the narrative, the positioning, and the go-to-market that makes Operator the next wildly successful product from Fin.
What will I be doing?
Build the external narrative for Operator and bring it to market in a way that creates and shapes the category for the industry
Shape and refine the ICP and audience for the Operator- who we're talking to, what their pains are, and what makes them choose us
Own core messaging and drive cross-functional alignment on what we're saying, why, and how it shows up everywhere - from the website to the sales deck to the customer email
Be deeply customer-obsessed - spend time with customers, study how they evaluate and adopt, and turn signal into clear insight that shapes what we say
Lead launches and go-to-market moments, working cross-functionally to deliver crisp messaging that fits sales, campaigns, and content needs, delivering mindshare for Fin and pipeline for
Build crisp, high-impact narratives and enablement that sales actually uses - including the discovery questions, objection handling, and competitive positioning and work closely with GTM teams to ensure messaging lands with the customers who need to hear it most
Create high-quality core PMM assets yourself: web pages, first call decks, narratives, scripts, demos, and launch materials - and maintain the core 'brain' of PMM context that feeds our AI-first approach
What we're looking for
This role is for someone who is a hybrid: part strategist, part storyteller, part technologist. You move between customer insight, product detail, competitive analysis, and creative expression without friction. Above all, you can take something the market has no name for and make it obvious.
You've done this before
5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B, with a track record of shaping how complex products are understood in market
You've marketed something genuinely new - a product or capability with no clear comparison set - and built the narrative that gave buyers a way to think about it
You've owned a product area end-to-end - from ICP and positioning through to launches and field enablement
You're comfortable with technical depth: automation, workflows, analytics, agent behaviour, and the mechanics of how a product actually does the work
Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing, or with selling operational change rather than a feature set, is a strong plus
You've worked in fast-moving environments where the product ships faster than the messaging can keep up - and found a way to move at that pace without losing quality
You think and write with precision
Excellent written communication - you write crisp briefs, sharp narratives, and synthesis memos that drive alignment
Strong editorial judgment - you know the difference between a sharp positioning statement and marketing language that means nothing
You push back on vague claims and force specificity - in your own work and in others'
You're product-obsessed and technically engaged
You read the docs, use the product, and dig into the tech before you craft a single message
You're genuinely curious about AI - not just as a talking point, but as something you think about, experiment with, and engage with constantly
You use AI tools fluently in your own work and are always looking for new ways to move faster and think sharper
You operate at the intersection of strategy and execution
You don't hand off strategy and wait - you take it all the way to the asset, the launch, the field
Strong judgment and the ability to work independently on large, high-stakes initiatives
A systems thinker who builds messaging architectures and frameworks others can use, not just one-off assets
You work well across functions, build trust quickly, and make the people around you more effective
Attributes we're looking for
Ambitious and competitive
- you set a high bar, think big, and want to win. You'll go the extra mile and you're motivated by building something that leads the market.
Confident and decisive
- you back yourself, optimise for progress over consensus, and value momentum. You ask for forgiveness, not permission.
Curious and intellectually engaged
- you're always learning, experimenting, and asking why. You keep up with AI's pace and use it to improve how you work.
Tasteful and creative
- you understand what connects emotionally with people and draw on design, culture, and craft to create ideas that resonate.
Impatient and change-oriented
- you hate slow and work to fix the root cause. You thrive in ambiguity and love building something new.

This PMM role will lead PMM for our Intercom helpdesk, loved by over 30k customers, and lead on how to market new capabilities that help human support teams deliver great experiences, with help and guidance from AI Agents. You'll shape how we talk to the 25,000+ businesses already using Intercom, build the narrative for an AI-first helpdesk era, and establish Intercom as the obvious choice for teams who want their AI agent and their human support layer working as one
You'll work directly with product, engineering, sales leadership, and the wider marketing team. This is a builder role for someone who wants to work fast, think from first principles, and help shape the future of PMM at Fin.
What will I be doing?
Shape the ICP and audience for the Intercom helpdesk and additional products for teams - who we're talking to, what their pains are, and what makes them choose us
Own core messaging and drive cross-functional alignment on what we're saying, why, and how it shows up everywhere - from the website to the sales deck to the customer email
Define and build the external narrative for the AI-first Helpdesk - what it means, why it matters, and why Fin is uniquely positioned to deliver it - and bring it to market in a way that reshapes how buyers think about the category
Partner with Product, GTM and Lifecycle on how we communicate product investment and progress to existing customers - turning roadmap momentum into customer confidence that retains and expands accounts
Build crisp, high-impact enablement that sales and customer success teams actually use to sell with confidence. Work closely with GTM teams to ensure messaging lands with the customers who need to hear it most
Be deeply customer-obsessed - sit with customer support teams, study how they evaluate and adopt, and turn signal into clear insight that shapes what we say
Lead launches and go-to-market moments for new products and capapbilties releases, working across the company to deliver impactful launch moments that drive mindshare and pipeline
Create high-quality core PMM assets yourself: web pages, first call decks, narratives and scripts launch materials. And maintain the core ‘brain’ of PMM context that feeds our AI-first approach
What we're looking for
This role is for someone who is a hybrid: part strategist, part storyteller, part technologist. You move between customer insight, product detail, competitive analysis, and creative expression without friction.
You've done this before
5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B with a track record of shaping how complex products are understood in market
You've owned a core product area end-to-end - from ICP and positioning through to launches and field enablement
You've worked in fast-moving environments where the product ships faster than the messaging can keep up - and found a way to move at that pace without losing quality
Experience with customer retention or expansion motions is a strong plus
Benefits
We are a well-treated bunch, with awesome benefits! If there’s something important to you that’s not on this list, talk to us!
Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing start-up
We serve lunch every weekday, plus a variety of snack foods and a fully stocked kitchen

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of Agentic Codebases.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Location: Remote-first (Argentina)
- Permanent, full-time employee (this is not a contractor position)
- Application Information:
- Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled
- This posting is for an existing vacancy
- Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity
As a Senior Software Engineer, Developer Productivity, you'll:
- Design and build the Nest.js service scaffolding that lets product teams stand up new backend services in our next-generation monorepo
- Implement paved paths, generators, and the platform primitives that make a new service work on day one rather than after a week of wiring.
- Build the seams that let new services run independently of our existing monolith.
- Own the deployment story for services and web applications on Cloudflare, and the interoperability with our existing AWS and Kubernetes estate managed through Pulumi and Argo CD.
- Lead migrations of substantial codebases into the monorepo and turn each one into a repeatable recipe rather than a bespoke effort.
- Partner directly with product teams as platform customers, treating their adoption as the measure of success and their friction as your backlog.
- Raise the leverage of the whole team by encoding what you learn into tooling, generators and agent-assisted workflows, so the next migration costs less than the last.
- Participate in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, strengthening our hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.
ABOUT YOU
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building and operating backend services in production
- Demonstrated experience in backend service design defining service boundaries, contracts and data ownership, not only implementing within them
- Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English
You'll thrive as a Senior Software Engineer, Developer Productivity, if you:
- Have worked inside a large, heavily-coupled codebase and found the seams: extracting or bypassing functionality incrementally, behind behaviour-preserving contracts
- Are fluent in TypeScript and Node, and comfortable with edge runtimes.
- Have hands-on experience with monorepo tooling at scale (Nx, Turborepo or similar) and understand why build-graph correctness is a product concern rather than a config detail.
- Treat migration work as engineering rather than chores: you budget for the parts that fail silently, verify generated output rather than trusting a green build, and know that bug-for-bug translation beats improvement when the goal is proving nothing changed.
- Enjoy being a platform engineer with real customers — partnering with product teams, adapting the platform to how they actually work rather than requiring them to change, and measuring yourself on their adoption.
- Are comfortable working across cloud boundaries, with a considered view on where a workload belongs and what crossing between clouds costs in latency and spend.
- Communicate decisions in writing well enough that someone can pick up your work from the ticket — and are willing to say plainly when the fast answer and the right answer diverge.
- Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.
OUR CORE BEHAVIORS
- Build lasting customer trust. We build trust by taking action that puts customer trust first.
- Win together. We play to win, and we win as one team. Success at Webflow isn't a solo act.
- Reinvent ourselves. We don't just improve what exists, we imagine what's possible.
- Own it all the way. We move fast because the moment demands it, and we hold ourselves accountable to deliver outcomes — for each other, and for customers.
BENEFITS
- Ownership in what you help build. Every permanent Webflower receives equity (RSUs) in our growing, privately held company.
- Health coverage that actually covers you. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees and their dependents, with Webflow covering most premiums.
- Support for every stage of family life. 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents and 6+ weeks of additional paid leave for birthing parents. Plus inclusive care for family planning, menopause, and midlife transitions.
- Time off that’s actually off. Flexible vacation, paid holidays, and a sabbatical program to help you recharge and come back inspired.
- Wellness for the whole you. Access to mental health resources, therapy and coaching.
- Invest in your future. A 401(k) with 100% employer match (up to $6,000/year) in the U.S., and support for retirement savings globally.
- Monthly stipends that flex with your life. Localized support for work and wellness expenses — from Wi-Fi to workouts.
- Bonus for building together. All full-time, permanent, non-commission employees are eligible for our annual WIN bonus program.
Temporary employees may be eligible for paid holiday and time off, statutory leaves of absence, and company-sponsored medical benefits depending on their Fixed Term Contract and their country/state of employment.

ROLE SUMMARY
As a Research Engineer on Forge, you will turn real customer requirements into reliable training and deployment workflows. You’ll work end‑to‑end across model adaptation and post‑training (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), evaluation, data, and infrastructure. The role bridges research experimentation and production constraints.
This role sits in Applied Science, with direct impact on client outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, product, and customer‑facing teams to ensure Forge projects ship, are maintainable, and can be trusted by others.
Interview focus can vary (algorithms, infrastructure, evals, or data). You don’t need to match every bullet below to apply.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and improve post‑training and evaluation workflows (CPT/SFT/RL/distillation), turning prototypes into repeatable Forge “recipes”.
- Develop tools and pipelines for synthetic data generation, data curation, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Debug and harden large‑scale ML systems: distributed training, scheduling/execution, checkpointing, observability, and reproducibility.
- Improve the Forge codebase via clear APIs, tests, documentation, and maintainable abstractions.
- Push the frontier of our RL training stack (e.g., high-throughput async rollout and scalable post‑training systems at frontier-model scale)
- Make sure Forge deployment is seamless and adaptable to a diversity of clients (hardware access, software stack, cloud and on-premises, …)
- Partner with researchers and infrastructure engineers to translate bottlenecks into concrete system improvements.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience working in large codebases (testing, code review, CI, operational ownership).
- Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, JAX, or similar.
- Strong systems and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Experience with LLM training or post‑training: fine‑tuning, RL, distillation, evaluation, and/or data pipelines.
- Excellent debugging skills in ambiguous systems (distributed jobs, data issues, quality regressions, infra failures).
- Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High agency, low ego, and comfort in fast‑moving, under‑specified environments.
NICE TO HAVE
- Distributed training experience (FSDP, DeepSpeed, Megatron, etc.).
- Cluster/orchestration experience (SLURM, Ray, Kubernetes, Kueue, Karpenter, Skypilot, etc.).
- Experience building reliable ML infrastructure, evaluation systems, or large‑scale data processing pipelines.
- Research experience in LLMs, agents, multimodal models, reasoning, code, or domain adaptation.
- Open‑source contributions, publications, or widely used internal tooling.
- Experience training multi‑billion‑parameter models (pre‑training or RL). Experience training on petabyte- and exabyte-scale datasets.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks across the stack and drive improvements from first principles.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

At JetBrains, code is our passion. Ever since we started back in 2000, we have strived to create the strongest and most effective developer tools in the world. Today, we are evolving beyond standalone tools toward a unified, AI-native platform for software development.
AI is no longer just an assistant inside the editor – it is becoming an active participant in how software is planned, built, reviewed, and operated across teams and organizations. This shift brings challenges that cannot be solved at the level of individual tools alone, challenges that involve governance, security, cost control, observability, and coordination between humans and autonomous agents.
The
JetBrains Platform team (JCP)
is building the foundation that connects developer workflows, team-level collaboration, and organizational control into a single coherent system. The platform is both deeply integrated with JetBrains products and designed to work across teams, products, and environments.
We’re now looking for an experienced
Software Engineer
to join an identity management and access team in JCP. The team owns several services responsible for authentication and authorization, as well as for managing organizations, user memberships, groups, and workspaces. All these form a foundational dependency for the rest of the platform. We also supply and support robust authentication components used by YouTrack, IDE Services, License Vault, Qodana, and other JetBrains products.
In this role, you will:
Own the entire SDLC: codebase, architecture, and operations
Maintain and evolve the services in Kotlin and a little bit of Go, ensuring reliability and performance as the platform grows
Design and implement new features across the identity, organization, membership, group, and workspace domains
Review and integrate PRs from other platform teams
Manage integrations with other JCP platform components and connected applications
We will be happy to have you on our team if you:
Have 7+ years of JVM development experience, preferably with Kotlin
Know how to approach performance problems on JVM and Postgres
Are experienced in building and operating SaaS production services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment
Can fluently navigate a modern devops stack: K8S, OpenTelemetry, Grafana
Have a track record of taking over and improving existing production services
Nice to have:
Prior experience with identity management protocols, such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, or SCIM 2.0
If you have designed and evolved domain models for organizational or identity systems
Cybersecurity experience: estimating risks, recognizing common vulnerability antipatterns, and promoting best SSDLC practices
Hands-on experience with Go
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.

Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family
Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
Relocation support. We help make your move as smooth and stress-free as possible. (depending on location)

Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays.
Mental health support. To help you feel your best, we provide easy access to professional mental health services.
Sports benefit. Enjoy an on-site gym or sports club stipend.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

About GiveDirectly in the DRC
GiveDirectly DRC was established in 2018 to enable cash transfers to poor and rural populations via mobile phones, thereby promoting food security, poverty reduction, and financial inclusion. We aimed to demonstrate the operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness of transferring large volumes of money digitally in one of the world's least developed countries. Since its inception four years ago, GiveDirectly DRC has used mobile phones to transfer over $14 million to more than 65,000 beneficiaries in four provinces: South Kivu, North Kivu, Ituri, and Kinshasa.
GiveDirectly's activities in the DRC have expanded to include, among other things: compelling proofs of concept for mobile-based cash transfers; and the implementation of innovative technologies to target disadvantaged urban populations in Kinshasa, in collaboration with the DRC's social protection agency, the DRC Social Fund. The delivery of contactless cash to beneficiaries in Beni and Bunia affected by the economic consequences of COVID-19. You will be joining Give Directly DRC at an exciting time in its history, as we are establishing and hope to launch several new programs and strengthen our partnership with the DRC government.
About the Role
As Senior Manager, Operations (DRC), you'll build and lead the operational backbone behind GiveDirectly's programs in the country. You'll direct the support services team end-to-end — HR, logistics, procurement, and administration — while managing a team of managers. You'll design a procurement strategy that keeps goods and services flowing efficiently and reliably across provinces, own fleet and logistics management as the program scales, and manage the operational budget with an eye for efficiency. You'll also support the Country Director on HR strategy — recruitment, training, and performance — and design the systems needed for a much larger footprint across provinces, from procurement to digital tools that improve scalability.
This is a role for someone who can build systems as readily as they can lead people, and who's energized by both strategic design and the operational details that make it real on the ground.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the DRC support services team end-to-end — HR, logistics, procurement, administration, and office management — including direct oversight of managers
Develop and drive a procurement strategy ensuring efficient, compliant, and resilient sourcing across provinces, and own fleet and logistics management as the program scales
Manage the operational budget, forecasting and driving efficiency across procurement, logistics, and administrative spend
Support the Country Director on HR strategy — recruitment, training, performance management, and talent density — through oversight of the HR function
Design systems and processes to support a much larger footprint across provinces, anticipating future needs and identifying AI and digital opportunities to improve scalability
Coach and develop support services managers to build operational excellence beyond individual contribution
Maintain a compliance and operational risk register, and lead internal spot checks, audit preparedness, and action plans in partnership with Finance and Internal Audit
Own donor reporting, budget tracking, and donor visit coordination, and serve as the primary point of contact between the Country Office and GSS on operational and compliance matters
Own the Operational Knowledge Base and lead onboarding, training, and localization of materials as the team grows
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (management, administration, finance, or related); a master's degree is an asset
Minimum 6 years of experience in operations management, with a track record of transforming informal systems into structured, compliant, and scalable ones, including direct oversight of managers
Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience managing an operational budget
Proven experience maintaining a risk register and working closely with internal/external audit functions
Experience developing and coaching managers, with comfort delegating execution while retaining accountability for results
Strong digital fluency, with experience using and training teams on multiple platforms (Google Suite, Salesforce, Asana, Guru, Slack)
Familiarity with international NGO standards and donor compliance frameworks
Experience navigating the DRC's complex legal environment, including labor law and immigration requirements
Strong alignment with
GiveDirectly's values
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English and French with high level stakeholders
Professional proficiency in French and English required; knowledge of Congolese Swahili and/or Lingala is an asset

Identify operational vulnerabilities, such as fraud or reputational risk, and implement mitigation solutions aligned with the risk framework set by the Program Director
Analyze program-level data to diagnose the causes of underperformance and drive continuous quality improvement
Partner with Tech and Data teams to design surveys and ensure data integrity in Salesforce
Directly manage a team of managers, with oversight of field teams and call centre at multiple levels
Support the Program Director and Country Director in scoping new programs, including operational feasibility and risk assessment.

Develop materials for engagement with donors and other external stakeholders in order to represent our work externally.

Proven instinct for risk management and creative problem-solving in complex operational environments
A high degree of autonomy and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fragile, rapidly changing environment
Strong alignment with

ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Forward Deployed Engineers at Sentry help our largest customers get real value from Sentry, from integrating the SDK to making sure the right alerts and issues reach the right people at the right time. This role is a Senior Solutions Engineer who goes further: you'll help us build Sentry's forward deployed motion.
That means working shoulder to shoulder with our most important customers, often inside their codebases and workflows, instead of advising from the outside. When a customer's problem needs more than a best-practices doc, such as a custom integration, a tricky instrumentation setup, or a working prototype, you'll build it with them, then turn what you learn into repeatable patterns for the rest of the team.
Forward deployed work is new here and you will have a part in building this arm. You'll start with the core Solutions Engineering work and take on more hands-on deployment work as customers pull you into it, helping define what this motion looks like at Sentry. The goal is simple: reduce time to value. The outcomes we care about:
- Developers can quickly find and resolve slowdowns and errors in their applications.
- Customers get to value faster, and the lessons from each deployment make the product better for everyone.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Turn customer goals into a plan. Understand customers' pain points and objectives, then act as their trusted advisor, translating them into implementation plans, workshops, and best practices that show clear business value.
- Get Sentry set up, in the code. With the customer's permission, work in their codebase like a member of their engineering team, delivering the pull requests that fully set up Sentry so data is flowing from day one.
- Instrument what matters most. Add custom telemetry for a customer's most critical user journeys and build the dashboards and alerts that go with it.
- Lead migrations. Move customers off their existing observability tools by setting up their Sentry organization and delivering PRs that introduce Sentry and remove the old solution.
- Work like a trusted contractor. Stay within the scope and access you've been given, take extra care in live environments, test thoroughly, and ship pull requests that customer engineers are glad to merge. Embed with their teams, including on site, when it helps.
- Build the motion. Turn one-off deployments into repeatable playbooks and tooling, help define how forward deployed engagements are scoped and measured, and bring what you learn back to Product and Engineering.
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- You'd rather sit with a customer's engineers and fix the problem in their code than write them a recommendation
- Enjoy talking about technology and interfacing with engineers and engineering leaders.
- Appreciate working in a dynamic environment, on a variety of projects with customers from lots of different industries.
- Love flexing your creative brain by developing solutions, resources, and content from scratch (scripts, code samples, demos, sales-consumable collateral/documents, etc.).
- Have a fast-paced, results-driven mindset.
- Love developer tools, open-source, and/or all things software development life cycle!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience, with some mixture being Software Engineering and Solutions Engineering/Implementation
- Hands-on experience working with programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, React, React Native, Mobile Native (iOS and/or Android), etc
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with credibility in front of engineers and engineering leaders
- Problem solver, knowledgable, and can-doer
- Bonus: experience with observability, APM, or error monitoring tools, including migrating customers from another vendor, or helping build a forward deployed or customer engineering function
The total compensation range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $190,000 to $230,000 USD. A successful candidate’s actual base salary (or hourly wage) amount will be determined by a variety of relevant factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s work location, education, work and other relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. A successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs applicable to the candidate’s position (including incentive compensation, equity grants, paid time off, and group health insurance coverage). See Sentry Benefits https://sentry.io/careers/ for more details about the Company’s benefit plans/programs.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AT SENTRY
Sentry is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and candidates for employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally-protected characteristic. This commitment includes the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees and candidates for employment with physical or mental disabilities who require such accommodations in order to (a) perform the essential functions of their jobs, or (b) seek employment with Sentry. We strive to build a diverse team, with an inclusive culture where every teammate can thrive. Sentry is an open-source company because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have the ability and tools to make great software. Software should be accessible. That starts with making our industry accessible.
If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, you may contact us at accommodations@sentry.io.
