About the job
This position is a critical engineering role within Twilio SendGrid, requiring a hands-on engineer capable of developing, deploying, and managing highly available, massive-scale distributed systems.
Our systems regularly process more than 12 billion emails during peak events like Black Friday, and our throughput requirements continue to scale rapidly. As an L3 engineer, you will act as a key driver of execution within our core services. You will be heavily involved in modernizing our backend systems, optimizing our extensive Go-based microservices, and contributing to the design and reliability of our dual-cloud infrastructure span across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES:
Architect and ship reliable, high-velocity features that handle critical traffic with low end-to-end latency. Partner closely with product management and technical leadership to break down complex system requirements into manageable, iterative milestones.
BE AN OWNER (CODE QUALITY):
Drive rigorous code reviews and push for maintainable patterns in our Go codebase, ensuring high testing standards (unit, integration, and component testing) are executed across the team.
BE AN OWNER (INFRASTRUCTURE & OBSERVABILITY):
Manage and enhance cloud configurations across AWS and Azure environments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Ensure deep observability coverage by standardizing metrics, alerts, and distributed tracing across core data pipelines.
CHAMPION ENGINEERING HEALTH:
Advocate for a clean architectural foundation. Proactively identify technical debt, system bottlenecks, and single points of failure (SPOF), balancing feature delivery with critical platform refactoring.
MENTOR AND LEAD:
Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring junior engineers, leading technical sprint planning, and sharing expertise across distributed engineering nodes.
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!
Required:
Experience:
4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating resilient backend services at scale.
Modern Development Workflow:
Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code) to accelerate code generation, automate testing, and streamline debugging workflows.
Language Proficiency:
Strong, hands-on production experience writing clean, idiomatic, and highly concurrent
Go (Golang), Java or Python
.

AWS
core services (such as EC2, S3, Aurora, or DynamoDB) AND
Microsoft Azure
equivalents (such as Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB).
Infrastructure as Code:
Proficiency with
Terraform
for provision-level automation and maintaining environment parity.
Distributed Systems:
Strong theoretical and practical understanding of distributed datastores, caching layers, and asynchronous event streaming (e.g., Kafka or similar queuing ecosystems).
Systems Mindset:
Strong foundational background in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and building self-healing cloud architectures.
Desired:
Prior experience managing high-throughput applications running inside containerized infrastructure (
Docker, Kubernetes
).
Familiarity with database migration pathways (e.g., transitioning traditional on-prem/relational datastores to managed instances like
AWS Aurora
).
Experience implementing
OpenTelemetry
or distributed tracing systems across decoupled microservice platforms.
Direct experience handling constraints related to network topology, proxy layers, or
mail transfer agent (MTA)
protocols.

The Platform Auth team’s goal is to support our ‘one customer identity’ vision by providing tools, processes, and expertise for our engineering teams to create a unified access management experience while simplifying and standardizing engineering patterns in the space. We are looking for engineers to join our growing team!
What you will be doing:
- Design and build the platform services that power authentication, authorization, and audit across ClickHouse Cloud. This includes a unified RBAC/ReBAC service, token issuance and session handling, and the SDKs that product teams embed to make authorization decision.
- Model permissions and access control primitives (resources, roles, relationships, policies) that work across ClickHouse, SQL Console, ClickPipes, and HyperDX. Ship the libraries and APIs that other engineers build against.
- Implement protocol-level support for SAML, SCIM, OIDC, OAuth2, and MFA/passwordless flows. Own the integrations that make enterprise SSO and provisioning work end to end.
- Build the audit and authorization-decision telemetry pipeline so every access decision is observable, queryable, and surfaceable to customers.
- Partner with product engineering teams to migrate bespoke per-product auth implementations onto the shared platform, and design APIs that make adoption straightforward.
- Carry the platform on-call rotation and own production reliability for systems on the critical path of every customer request.
What you bring along:
- Minimum 4+ years building production backend systems at scale. Comfort with at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C++) and one application language (TypeScript, Python).
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing an authentication or authorization service. Examples include building a token issuer, an OIDC or OAuth2 provider, a policy engine, a permissions model, or an FGA/ReBAC system in the style of Zanzibar, OpenFGA, SpiceDB, or Cedar.
- Working knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OIDC, and OAuth2 at the protocol level and are able to implement them.
- Experience designing APIs and SDKs that other engineers depend on, with strong opinions on what makes them adoptable.
- Experience operating distributed systems at scale, including caching strategies, consistency tradeoffs, and multi-region concerns.
- Familiarity with identity vendors (Auth0, WorkOS, AWS/GCP/Azure IAM) as building blocks you've extended or integrated into a larger platform.
- Strong production debugging instincts and a high bar for systems that are easy to develop against.
Bonus:
- You've built or contributed to a Zanzibar-style authorization system, or run an OpenFGA or SpiceDB deployment beyond the demo.
- You've designed a multi-tenant permission model that survived real customer requirements like custom roles, hierarchies, delegation, and ABAC attributes.
- You've shipped an SDK that product teams across an org actually adopted, and have opinions about why most internal SDKs fail.

They team up with Engineer, Data and Marketing teams to ensure a delightful experience to our customers, whether when signing on our website, better equip Sales with the best offers or undergoing the renewal campaign (offer updates from one year to another).

See yourself at Twilio
Join the team as Twilio’s next Principal Engineer.
About the job
The Compliance Experiences team sits at the heart of the Twilio platform, owning two critical domains: Phone Numbers and Compliance (KYC).
In 2026, "getting a phone number" is no longer a simple API call; it requires sophisticated orchestration across global phone number inventory, real-time identity verification, regulatory compliance, and operational tooling at massive scale.
Twilio’s KYC Platform, the gateway to accessing all of Twilio’s communication APIs, enables customers to securely provision and operate communication services globally while navigating complex, constantly evolving regulatory requirements.
As a Principal Engineer (P5), you will own the technical strategy for a platform that processes millions of requests. You will be expected to pioneer AI-driven development workflows using LLMs and agentic agents to accelerate code generation, automate architectural reviews, and synthesize complex global telecommunications regulations into executable logic. Your mission is to collapse the distance between a great idea and a production ready feature.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
DRAW THE OWL:
Lead the architecture and long-term technical roadmap, transitioning legacy systems into a modern, distributed microservices architecture that supports global scale.
ACCELERATE WITH AI:
Lead by example in using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, or internal LLMs) to automate boilerplate, generate exhaustive test suites, and perform rapid prototyping. You will be measured on your ability to amplify your own output and the team's velocity through AI augmentation.
BE AN OWNER:
Drive technical excellence across multiple teams, making critical architectural decisions that balance rapid feature innovation with world-class reliability and security.
WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES:
Partner with Product Managers to translate complex global telecommunications regulations and customer needs into elegant, developer-first APIs and application workflows.
EMPOWER OTHERS:
Mentor and uplift senior and staff engineers. Foster a culture of technical curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning. Teach the team how to move from "writing code" to "reviewing and orchestrating AI-generated logic" without sacrificing security or quality.
RUTHLESSLY PRIORITIZE:
Identify and mitigate technical risks early, ranging from scalability bottlenecks to security vulnerabilities and lead the team through complex production incidents with a focus on long-term remediation.
WRITE IT DOWN:
Communicate complex technical strategies to both executive leadership and engineering teams through high-quality design documents, RFCs, and presentations.
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

designing and developing highly available, high scale, secure, mission-critical cloud native enterprise distributed systems.

Join the team as Twilio’s next Staff Software Engineer.
As a Staff Software Engineer (P4), you will be a key technical leader for a platform that processes millions of requests. You will build innovative solutions while working closely with Twilio partners to ensure alignment. You will lead the technical design and influence the strategic direction that shapes Twilio’s compliance footprint. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders across Twilio who rely on your team's APIs, services, and tooling to operate efficiently.
You will embrace AI-driven development workflows, using LLMs and agentic tools to accelerate code generation, improve test coverage, and translate complex regulatory requirements into executable logic. Your mission is to turn ambitious designs into production-grade features.

As Marketing Strategy Director at Airalo, you will collaborate closely with the Growth organization to define and optimize acquisition, conversion, and retention targets across regions and channels. You will operate as a central, region agnostic capital allocator within Growth — ensuring time, budget, and effort are deployed toward the highest incremental impact opportunities. Acting as a key partner to Growth leadership, you will turn complex data into clear trade off decisions, pressure test assumptions, and help determine where the next dollar and the next hour should be invested.
In this role, you will own Growth’s forecasting and planning processes, ensuring regional and central teams are aligned on targets, assumptions, and trade offs. You will run the operating cadence for Growth, steward the business inputs, scenario frameworks, and planning logic layered on top of Data’s forecasting model, and translate performance insights into cross regional and cross channel allocation decisions that improve incremental growth and capital efficiency — operating within the financial guardrails set by our Finance team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Forecasting, Planning & Operating Rhythm
Own Growth’s forecasting process end to end: gather assumptions, challenge inputs, coordinate with Data, and prepare forecast narratives for leadership
Maintain and continuously refine the business logic, pacing, scenario planning, and target setting frameworks built on top of Airalo’s forecasting model
Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews — prepare materials, synthesize insights, and ensure follow-ups drive real action
Run weekly operating cadence for Growth: performance reviews, KPI tracking, variance analysis, and strategic escalations
Budget Allocation & Strategic Decision Support
Build data-driven recommendations on spend allocation across regions and channels, using CAC, pLTV, incrementality and ROI insights to optimize for incremental profit/growth
Conduct granular regional deep dives (country/segment/channel) and identify levers to improve growth or efficiency.
Identify cross-regional capital reallocation opportunities and quantify trade-offs between markets (e.g., where incremental $1 delivers highest marginal return).
Partner with Growth, Product, Brand, and Finance to align on targets, trade-offs, and the drivers behind plan variances.
Analytics Partnership & Insight Activation
Serve as Growth’s primary business partner to the Data team: consolidate analytical needs, provide business context, and ensure high-quality inputs into Data’s roadmap.
Translate analytical outputs (forecasts, dashboards, experiment results) into decisions, actions, and processes that stick.
Ensure Growth teams adopt and operationalize dashboards and models — build documentation, training, and clear workflows.
Cross-Functional Strategy & Special Projects
Lead cross-functional projects such as regional/channel diagnostics, efficiency audits, or market deep-dives - including 30 day “drop-in” sprints to fix specific business problems
Build frameworks that guide decision-making: ROI models, sizing models, scenario tools, prioritization structures.
Identify and implement process improvements across the Growth org to increase speed, clarity, and execution quality.
Must Haves:
9+ years in Marketing Strategy, BizOps, FP&A, Management Consulting, Strategy & Operations, or similar analytical roles.
Demonstrated experience owning planning cycles and influencing capital allocation decisions at a multi-market or global level.
Demonstrated ability to maintain forecasting models (Excel/Sheets) and run scenario planning, CAC/LTV experience, pacing, and ROI logic.
Strong analytical proficiency: Excel (advanced), and comfort working with SQL and modern BI tools (Looker, Lightdash, Tableau). Experience with MMM models a plus.
Clear experience turning data into recommendations — not just reporting results, but synthesizing insights into “what we do next.”
Ability to challenge assumptions, pressure-test inputs, and navigate ambiguous or incomplete data.
Experience working cross-functionally with channel leads, PMs, and Data teams; strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
Comfort managing complex, deadline-driven projects, prioritizing across markets, and driving alignment among multiple teams.
A proactive, structured problem-solver who can pick up unclear problems, untangle them, and deliver clarity with minimal guidance.
Nice To Haves:
Experience in consumer tech, marketplace, travel, or subscription businesses
Familiarity with marketing analytics: attribution, CAC/LTV modeling, incrementality testing, funnel analysis
Comfort coordinating experimentation roadmaps and interpreting lift tests or causal results
Prior experience as the business partner to a Data/Analytics org

Our team spans 60+ countries, but what people often notice quickly is how work actually feels here. There's trust to own what you do, space to focus without constant layers of process, and a clear sense of what you're responsible for from day one.
As Airalo continues to grow, people tend to stay for a mix of things: the chance to work on a product used globally, the autonomy to shape how they work, and the opportunity to keep taking on new challenges without getting stuck in one lane.
🇦🇪 Why people join us in the UAE
We're a fully remote team across 60+ countries, built on a simple idea: trust people to own their work and deliver without unnecessary layers or heavy process getting in the way.
Many people joining us from the UAE are looking for clarity in scope and real ownership in their role. They want to know what they're responsible for, how success is measured, and have direct access to the people making decisions.
What often stands out is the combination of a global, product-led company with a flexible remote setup. For many, it's the opportunity to work on a product used by millions of travelers worldwide, alongside a team that moves quickly and values clear ownership and accountability.
