We are trusted by 200+ high-growth DTC brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and health. Our team of 100+ growth operators, analysts, and creatives drives meaningful bottom-line impact through performance creative, paid media, influencer marketing, and CRO.
Advantage HQ is not just an agency. We are a scalable growth platform with a proven track record, and a culture built for A-players.
The Role
We are hiring a Business Operations Project Lead to make a fast-growing agency run better. You will lead the operational projects that improve how our teams work, from process design and tooling to reporting and cross-team coordination, and manage them end to end.
This role sits at the intersection of operational rigor and fast-paced agency delivery. You are the operator behind the machine: you see where work gets stuck, design the fix, and get teams to adopt it. You are equally comfortable in the details of a workflow and in the bigger picture of how the business scales.
You are organized and analytical in equal measure. You use data and team feedback to find bottlenecks, and you build systems that raise output without adding friction.
What You Will Own
Project leadership.
Lead operational improvement projects from scoping to delivery. Define scope, assign owners, manage timelines and dependencies, and report progress clearly.
Process design and documentation.
Map, document and improve core business processes. Write clear SOPs and playbooks that teams actually use.
Cross-team coordination.
Align priorities across departments, resolve dependencies and keep projects moving when work crosses teams.
KPIs and reporting.
Define and track operational KPIs. Build dashboards and regular reports that give leadership an honest view of performance.
Tools and automation.
Select, implement and improve the tools and automations that remove manual work and speed up delivery.
AI fluency.
Use AI as a core part of your workflow, from process analysis to documentation to workflow automation.
What We Are Looking For
You have spent [3-5+] years in business operations, project or program management, ideally at an agency or fast-growing company managing multiple projects at once. You can juggle competing priorities without losing quality.
You have delivered operational projects with measurable results, such as time saved, cost reduced or output increased. You can point to them specifically and explain what you did to make them happen.
You are strong at process design. You can map a workflow, find where it breaks, and document a better one that people follow.
You are analytical. You can work with data, track KPIs and turn reporting into action. Spreadsheets and project management tools are second nature.
You are a clear communicator who works well with leadership and individual contributors alike, gives direct feedback, and keeps stakeholders informed.
You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You stay organized and proactive, and you keep teams moving when priorities shift.
Nice to Have
Project management certification (PMP, Scrum or similar)
Experience building operations from scratch in a startup or scaling company
Experience with workflow automation or AI tools
Comfort in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Location
Fully remote. We have built the infrastructure for high-performance distributed teams and trust our people to do their best work from wherever they work best.
