Intetics Inc.
, a global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Staff Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer
to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain predictive Lifetime Value (pLTV) models using machine learning techniques such as XGBoost, CatBoost, and probabilistic forecasting methods.
- Develop and manage a tiered scoring framework that assigns users to different prediction models based on data availability and signal quality.
- Create and optimize calibration frameworks that transform raw model outputs into business-ready values through normalization, scaling, and custom loss optimization strategies.
- Own feature engineering processes, building and maintaining scalable feature datasets from transactional, behavioral, and engagement data.
- Define and enforce feature quality standards, ensuring model inputs are reliable, relevant, and suitable for production use. - Monitor model performance, drift, and data distribution changes, proactively identifying when retraining or model adjustments are required.
- Analyze the impact of deployed models on downstream outcomes and detect feedback loops that may affect future model accuracy.
- Develop and improve identity resolution processes to unify behavioral and transactional data across multiple data sources.
- Build, test, and maintain production-grade Python services and data pipelines for model training, scoring, and signal delivery.
- Implement robust software engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, idempotent processing, and deployment safeguards.
- Collaborate with data, engineering, and product stakeholders to improve data quality, model effectiveness, and platform scalability.
- Operate and optimize ML workflows in cloud environments using orchestration, scheduling, and distributed processing tools.
- Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of machine learning systems that support critical business decision-making and performance optimization.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on ML engineering in Python with production-deployed models (not just Jupyter notebooks). You should be comfortable writing production-grade code, not just prototypes.
Experience with gradient boosted trees (XGBoost, CatBoost, or LightGBM) in a production setting, including hyperparameter tuning, feature importance analysis, and model evaluation beyond default metrics.
Strong SQL and BigQuery fluency. You will write complex feature engineering queries, scheduled transformations, and data validation logic directly in BigQuery.
GCP production experience. Cloud Run, Airflow/Composer, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub. You have deployed and maintained ML workloads on GCP, not just completed certification exercises.
Understanding of model calibration. You know the difference between a model that minimizes RMSE and a model that maximizes business value. You have experience with or strong intuition about how prediction errors compound when consumed by a downstream optimization system.
Outbound API integration experience. You have pushed model outputs into external systems that act on them (ad platforms, recommendation engines, pricing systems, bidding systems).
Strongly Preferred:
E-commerce or DTC domain experience. Customer lifetime value, purchase prediction, churn modeling, or customer segmentation for retail or subscription businesses.
Familiarity with probabilistic customer models (BG/NBD, Gamma-Gamma, or similar frameworks). If you haven't used these specifically, strong Bayesian statistics foundations are equally valuable.
Ad platform signal engineering. Experience with Google Ads API (ConversionUploadService, Enhanced Conversions), Meta Conversions API (CAPI), or similar server-side event dispatch systems.
Identity resolution or entity matching. Graph-based identity stitching, probabilistic matching, or CDP-style cross-device identity work.
Nice-to-have:
Terraform, CI/CD pipeline design, Docker containerization for ML workloads.
Experience with causal inference methods, A/B testing in ad spend environments, or multi-armed bandit allocation.
Familiarity with agentic development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted coding tools).

In your first year, you will help strengthen team capability, improve delivery consistency, and create the conditions for a high-performing services team across the region. This is an opportunity to manage a team doing technically complex, customer-facing work that directly helps customers realize value from GitLab.
Some examples of our projects:
Leading a team of Professional Services Engineers through end-to-end GitLab implementation and migration engagements for enterprise customers across Europe
Partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Architects to support statement of work scoping and align the right technical resources to customer needs
What you’ll do
Lead and manage a team of Professional Services Engineers, supporting their growth, performance, and day-to-day delivery across customer engagements.
Develop team members through regular 1:1s, coaching, feedback, and career conversations that help them grow their technical and consulting skills.
Own delivery outcomes across your team’s portfolio, including implementations, migrations, advisory services, and statement of work engagements.
Monitor project health, identify delivery risks early, and step in directly or escalate when needed to keep customer work on track.
Partner with Technical Architects, Engagement Managers, Sales, and Customer Success to plan, scope, resource, and support successful services engagements.
Track team utilization, customer satisfaction, and escalation trends, and use those insights to improve team performance and operational effectiveness.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex customer situations, helping guide resolution while maintaining a high bar for service quality.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Professional Services processes, tooling, knowledge sharing, and delivery standards across the broader organization.
What you’ll bring
Significant experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
A strong technical foundation in software delivery, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or a related area, with the ability to engage credibly in technical discussions.
Experience managing or supporting professional services, implementation delivery, migration programs, or technical consulting engagements for enterprise customers.
Proven ability to navigate customer escalations, balance competing priorities, and drive clear outcomes in complex situations.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Architects.
A delivery mindset focused on accountability, quality, and measurable results rather than activity alone.
Comfort working in a fully remote, asynchronous organization with strong written communication and organizational skills.
Alignment with GitLab’s values and the ability to lead with transparency, trust, and a focus on team development.
On the
Professional Services
team at GitLab, we help customers adopt the platform in ways that fit their technical goals and operating environment through technical delivery, guidance, and enablement.
As part of this organization, we focus on hands-on delivery work across customer engagements across EMEA. We work closely with a sister team of
Technical Architects
, along with cross-functional partners across the business, to support strong project execution and customer outcomes. We are building a high-quality services practice grounded in technical excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement. This is a good fit for someone who enjoys leading experienced technical practitioners, improving how services are delivered, and helping customers succeed through meaningful, complex work.

At Adapty, we make it easy for mobile apps to manage in-app purchases and paywalls. We power 20K+ apps, process $3B+ in subscriptions every year, and have been growing fast for the last four years. Our mission is simple: make apps rich.
We are a team of 210+ passionate, product-driven people who love solving big challenges. Backed by top investors like 500 Startups and Surface Ventures, we are building one of mobile's fastest-growing SaaS companies and aiming for number one worldwide.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
In 2025 we doubled, from 95 to 200 people. Today we hire fewer roles, but more senior ones, and every single hire moves the needle. We have built a hiring system we believe in: a clear profile for every role, structured interviews, real-life cases and culture fit assessment on every final. Now we need recruiters who make it run every day, go out and find people who raise the bar, and close them fast.
You will own a portfolio of roles across Adapty, from engineering and product to marketing and sales, working directly with hiring managers and founders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own your vacancies end to end: from intake with the hiring manager to an accepted offer. Every search starts with a clear profile and ends with the right hire.
- Hire the best people, fast. Run a tight process and keep Time to Offer low without lowering the bar.
- Proactively bring top talent to Adapty. Map the market, run direct outreach and build pipelines instead of waiting for inbound.
- Partner with hiring managers and drive alignment. Challenge the brief when it's wrong, keep feedback loops short, and push back when the data says so.
- Run structured interviews and assess candidates against our values and the role's competencies.
- Keep ATS clean and data-driven: scorecards, rejection reasons and pipeline updates.
- Help improve how we hire: share what works, fix what doesn't, and make the process faster and better.
ABOUT YOU
- You have 3+ years of full-cycle in-house recruiting, ideally at a fast-growing tech or SaaS company.
- You have closed Senior and Lead roles through direct sourcing, not only inbound or agencies.
- You think in numbers: hires, Time to Offer, funnel conversion and trial retention. You know your own and can explain what you did to move them.
- You are a strong stakeholder partner. You can run an intake, challenge a hiring manager and drive alignment.
- You move fast and own your results. When a role gets stuck, you are the first to know and you come with a plan.
- You write and speak fluent English and Russian.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience hiring for mobile, app economy, fintech or dev tools.
- Hands-on experience with Ashby or another modern ATS, and with AI tools for sourcing and screening.
- Experience hiring across Europe and other remote markets.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- Strong product with industry-best metrics. Adapty is among the top 5% fastest-growing SaaS companies.
- Exceptional compensation directly tied to your results.
- Direct communication and ownership. No bureaucracy, no politics, just impact.
- Flexible remote work. Join us from anywhere or work onsite in our Belgrade or London offices.
- Professional support. Language learning, sports, health insurance, laptop coverage, and more.
