Location: Hybrid - San Francisco, New York City About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role We're looking for an Engineer to lead the design and development of Vercel's Financial Data Platform, the foundational system that powers revenue reporting, consumption-based billing, financial forecasting, and compliance across the business. This is a unique opportunity to architect the data infrastructure that Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations depend on to close the books accurately, forecast revenue with confidence, and scale with the business. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Data Engineering, you'll define the technical vision for Vercel's financial data ecosystem, partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Revenue leadership to translate business and compliance requirements into scalable systems, and build reliable, auditable pipelines using modern technologies like Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake. You'll lead from the front, writing production-grade code, setting the bar for data accuracy and governance in a domain where correctness isn't optional, and mentoring a team of engineers as the function grows. If you're excited by the challenge of building financial-grade data systems that the business trusts for reporting, forecasting, and audit, we'd love to hear from you. What You Will Do Design and implement a data platform that supports revenue recognition, consumption-based billing, and financial reporting across batch and real-time workloads, leveraging Kafka and streaming technologies to power real-time usage and billing pipelines feeding revenue and consumption forecasts. Work directly with FP&A, Accounting, and RevOps to understand reporting requirements, close-cycle timelines, and forecasting needs, translating them into technical architecture and ensuring data availability and accuracy align with financial reporting deadlines, audit cycles, and board-level reporting needs. Define and maintain guidelines for financial data ingestion, transformation, and storage, with a focus on auditability, lineage, and data integrity, while overseeing data modeling, ETL, and warehousing (ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake) to support low-latency analytics and reliable historical reporting. Develop end-to-end solutions across the finance data stack, setting the example for engineering excellence in a high-accountability domain, and mentor engineers on both technical craft and the added rigor required when data feeds directly into financial statements. Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure financial data pipelines meet SOX, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements, and champion high availability, fault tolerance, and auditability through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Drive architectural decisions and roadmap planning that balance efficiency, scalability, and the strict correctness requirements of financial systems, and evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs across financial and billing tooling (e.g., ERP, billing, and revenue platforms). Build the data infrastructure that translates raw usage into revenue, supporting the forecasting models Finance and GTM rely on for target-setting and reporting, and collaborate with data science and FP&A teams on forecasting, incrementality analysis, and revenue modeling at scale. Act as a key decision-maker for evaluating and selecting data architectures and technologies critical to Vercel's financial operations, and establish a multi-phase roadmap for finance data platform maturity aligned with company growth and audit readiness. About You 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related field, with a track record of owning production data pipelines end-to-end. Proven track record designing and operating large-scale data infrastructures in a complex, fast-paced environment, with experience across Kafka and its ecosystem (e.g., Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform), ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, and broader big data frameworks. Prior experience building data pipelines that feed financial reporting, revenue recognition, billing, or consumption-based pricing models, with familiarity with financial/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday) or billing platforms considered a strong plus. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated big data services. Strong background in data governance, security, and compliance, including direct experience supporting audit, SOX, or SOC 2 requirements, and a rigorous approach to data lineage and accuracy. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate financial and accounting requirements into technical architecture and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Finance and Audit leadership. A leadership mindset, with demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive consensus, and advocate for best practices in high-accountability data environments. Industry recognition or notable contributions in data engineering (e.g., published works, open-source contributions) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $264,000 - $396,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged at 1Password—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. Our approach to remote work We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of most roles. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. What we offer We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer: 🏝 Generous PTO policy - 2.08 days per month (1.5 work weeks per 4 month term) 💖 Company-wide wellness days (1 per quarter) 🌎 Employee-led inclusion and belonging programs and ERGs 🏠 Remote-first environment 🏆 Peer-to-peer recognition through Bonusly 💡 1Password University access and learning sessions 🥳 Monthly internship events and socials 1Password is part of Team True North https://www.communitech.ca/how-we-help/team-true-north/ , a comprehensive group of Canadian tech firms with performance and growth rates that match the top 1% of companies worldwide – companies with the highest probability of reaching $1 billion in annual revenue. If you've got questions or concerns about this, your talent partner would be happy to address them with you. Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check that may consist of prior employment verification, reference checks, education confirmation, criminal background, publicly available social media, credit history, or other information, as permitted by local law. 1Password uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, including natural language processing and predictive analytics, to assist in the initial screening of employment applications and improve our recruitment process. Location: Remote - AMER Workplace: Remote About You You’re a hands-on performance marketer who knows how to reach the right buyers on LinkedIn and beyond. You’re equally comfortable planning a full-funnel, account-based program and strategizing the creative that brings it to life. You bring rigor to QA, curiosity to testing, and a sharp eye for when creative needs a refresh. About Us Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so. Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco. We’re a passionate team who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they do best can lead to great things. Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today. About the Position We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to lead our LinkedIn programs and run paid media across LinkedIn, Meta, content syndication, CTV, and podcasts/audio. Our buyers are ecommerce and retail leaders, and paid media is how many of them first hear from us. In this role, you’ll turn Sales, Demand Gen, and ABM goals into campaigns that reach the right people at the right stage and build pipeline. You’ll own the channel end-to-end: planning, creative briefing, building, QAing, targeting, pacing, testing, reporting, and optimizing. This is a hands-on, in-platform role. You’ll work alongside our Paid Search Specialist and partner closely with our Sales, Customer Marketing, Demand Gen, Creative, Product Marketing, and EMEA teams. What makes this role different: - You’ll own LinkedIn as a channel, not a slice of it. Planning, building, testing, and reporting all sit with you. - You’ll plan across the full funnel and across 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 programs, covering both broad reach and named accounts. - You’ll own the creative pipeline for your channels, from requests and approvals through trafficking and rotation. - You’ll lead weekly cross-channel optimization syncs, which gives you a voice in how the whole paid program performs. What You’ll Do Strategic Planning - Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, content syndication, CTV, and podcasts/audio. - Build tactical strategies across TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU, and across 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 programs. - Translate Sales and Demand Gen goals into plans by stage, persona, and segment. - Shape copy and creative strategy with Creative, Customer Marketing, and Product Marketing, so each audience gets the right message. Execution and Quality Assurance - Build paid social campaigns end-to-end, including creative strategy, bidding, ad copy, and audiences. - Run rigorous QA across copy, assets, campaign structure, audiences, and UTMs before anything goes live. - Partner with our EMEA team to localize global campaigns for their markets. - Track tasks, requests, and SLAs in Asana so work stays visible and on schedule. Audience Targeting and Management - Own audience list hygiene and targeting across platforms. - Build audiences from first- and third-party data. - Manage pixels and primary vs. secondary conversion architecture, so campaigns optimize toward the actions that matter most. Budget Pacing and Management - Manage budgets against lead volume, lead quality, conversion, pipeline, and ROI. - Own pacing and anomaly detection, and keep documented budget pacing up to date. Testing & Optimization - Run structured tests on audiences, creative, landing pages, copy, and bidding. - Run ongoing search query analysis and keyword optimization. - Lead weekly cross‑channel optimization syncs. Reporting - Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting that pairs results with clear recommendations. - Lead campaign hindsights that capture what drove results, what we learned, and what to do next. - Stay current on platform changes, privacy, and B2B trends. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications - 2-3 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally within a media agency or performance‑focused environment - Hands-on experience building and optimizing social campaigns within LinkedIn and Meta, ideally with a focus in lead generation - Working knowledge of conversion tracking, including pixels, UTMs, and primary vs. secondary conversions - Experience managing budgets and pacing against goals, preferably optimizing towards leads, pipeline, cost efficiency, and ROI - Experience running structured tests and turning results into clear recommendations Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a B2B or B2B SaaS environment - Experience with ad placements across YouTube, Display, DOOH, or LLMs - Experience localizing campaigns for EMEA markets - Experience building and maintaining audiences from first- and third-party data - Experience with Hubspot, 6sense, Dreamdata, Asana, and/or Salesforce Skils - Strong attention to detail, especially in QA - Outstanding analytical skills and strong experience in performance optimization - Clear writer who can create ad copy that works for different audiences and markets - Self-starter who can flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution - Strong project management, able to run several campaigns in parallel Benefits 🏝️ Unlimited vacation time – we strongly encourage all of our employees take at least 3 weeks per year 💰 A competitive compensation package including stock options 🌎 Fully remote team – choose where you live 🛋️ Work from home stipend! We want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office 💻 Apple laptops provided for new employees 🧑🎓 Training and development budget for every employee, refreshed each year 🧑🧑🧒 Maternity & Paternity leave for qualified employees 🧠 Work with smart people who will help you grow and make a meaningful impact Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Constructor At Constructor.io http://Constructor.io we are committed to cultivating a work environment that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
