We are seeking an experienced Contract Pressure Vessel Test Technician to operate and maintain the on-site hydrostatic test chamber, executing pressure testing on sealed vessels, housings, and pressurized components utilized in autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). These undersea platforms are flooded vehicle architectures, requiring electronics and water-sensitive subsystems to be housed inside individually sealed, pressurized enclosures.
This contract engagement is responsible for validating the structural integrity and watertight sealing of these enclosures before integration into production hardware. The contractor will set up and execute technical test procedures, record and monitor pressure data, generate documentation packages, and interface directly with production and engineering stakeholders to confirm parts meet strict engineering specifications.
SCOPE OF WORK (CONTRACT DELIVERABLES)
· Hydrostatic Test Execution: Set up, operate, and monitor the hydrostatic test chamber to perform pressure testing on sealed vessels, housings, and related components. Follow established procedures to pressurize components to specified proof levels, maintain dwell times, and continuously monitor for pressure decay or leakage.
· Test Setup and Fixturing: Prepare test articles by installing necessary fittings, plugs, seals, sensors, and fluid interfaces. Verify fixture and test setups prior to pressurization. Maintain and stage testing fixtures, high-pressure tooling, and supporting hardware.
· Inspection and Anomaly Identification: Visually inspect components before, during, and after test sequences for leaks, seal degradation, weld flaws, structural
anomalies, or other non-conformances. Accurately document and isolate all non-conforming conditions.
· Data Recording and Quality Documentation: Maintain rigorous records of all test parameters, cycles, results, and observed conditions. Complete test logs, formal reports, and quality system documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures. Interpret precision pressure gauges and sensor data to ensure testing integrity.
· Equipment Maintenance and Calibration Tracking: Perform routine preventative maintenance on the chamber, pumps, valves, high-pressure lines, and instrumentation. Flag equipment requiring repair, overhaul, or recalibration.
· Safety and Environmental Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with safety guidelines governing high-pressure pneumatic and hydrostatic operations. Maintain clean and organized test bays, and promptly report any process anomalies or equipment hazards.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with production teams, quality assurance, and engineering personnel to align test schedules, communicate test outcomes, and assist in root-cause isolation for failed units. Provide technical feedback regarding recurring build anomalies or design considerations.
· Process Improvement Support: Contribute technical input to improve test documentation, fixturing design, cycle times, and chamber throughput.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 4+ years of hands-on experience in testing, inspection, or manufacturing assembly environments.
· Demonstrated experience with high-pressure testing (hydrostatic or pneumatic), leak detection methods, or comparable quality-verification testing.
· Proficiency in reading and working directly from technical documentation, engineering drawings, and detailed test plans.
· Strong procedural discipline and attention to detail when executing tests and recording empirical data.
· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude working with high-pressure systems, pumps, high-pressure fittings, fluid manifolds, and instrumentation gauges.
· Effective technical communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting test reports and conveying results to engineering teams.
· Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Background in maritime, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments.
· Hands-on experience with hydrostatic proof, leak, or burst testing of sealed electronic enclosures or pressure hulls.
· Familiarity with subsea robotics, AUVs, UUVs, or marine equipment.

We are EnerMech, a specialist service company that delivers safe, integrated solutions for complex energy projects. For over 50 years, we have supported our clients across the world with unrivalled expertise, equipment, and technology throughout the entire asset lifecycle – both offshore and onshore.
Operating through our global business lines of Energy Solutions, Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions, and Lifting Solutions, we provide a broad range of specialist services including cranes, lifting, fluid power, training, equipment rental, pipeline, process, subsea, and valve services.
At EnerMech, we are driven by operational excellence, innovation, and technical expertise, delivering value through integrated solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enhance performance for our customers worldwide.
About the role
Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) is EnerMech’s global transformation and technology function. It supports 25 legal entities across four regions and covers infrastructure, cybersecurity, application management, service desk support, transformation initiatives, and enterprise data and intelligence.
As PMO Manager, you will be at the center of how EBS decides what to work on and how that work gets delivered. You will run demand intake and prioritization, give leadership a clear view of the portfolio and capacity, and keep our governance forums working well. You’ll do this while the function delivers major technology and data platform programs. Reporting to the VP Transformation & EBS, this is a hands-on role for someone who brings structure and rigor and still makes governance easy for the business to engage with.
Key responsibilities:
Demand management: Own the EBS demand management process. Make sure every business request is captured, assessed, prioritized, resourced and governed to delivery. Work with business and technology leaders to help them make prioritization decisions that weigh demand against capacity, strategy and operational need.
Portfolio management: Keep a complete, accurate view of the EBS project portfolio, covering status, milestones, risks, budget, benefits and delivery performance. Lead portfolio health reviews that bring dependencies, resource constraints and delivery risks to the surface early and drive mitigation.
Resource management: Plan and optimize resourcing across EBS teams, contractors and third-party partners. Support annual technology planning, budgeting and roadmap development with demand forecasting and capacity modelling.
Application change management: Oversee the full lifecycle of application change requests and defects. Make sure changes are assessed, approved, controlled and implemented through governance. Coordinate with support partners, project managers and technical teams so that enhancements, releases and fixes are delivered on time.
Governance: Run the EBS governance forums, including schedules, agendas, action logs, decision registers and communications. Work with project managers and sponsors so that business cases, benefits plans and investment proposals are robust and aligned to strategy.
Reporting: Build and maintain portfolio, demand, capacity and performance dashboards that support decision-making. Prepare clear, high-quality papers and packs for the Technology Committee, Architecture Review Board, Change Advisory Board, Data Governance Council, Design Authorities and the EBS Leadership Team.
Continuous improvement: Improve PMO processes, governance frameworks, reporting and portfolio practices to raise delivery performance and the experience of the stakeholders who use them.
Requirements
About you:
You are an experienced PMO and portfolio management professional who has run governance and managed technology portfolios in complex, multi-entity or global organizations. You can bring order to competing priorities and are comfortable challenging diverse stakeholders constructively. Your reporting turns data into decisions. You are structured and disciplined, and you can adapt when priorities change.
Requirements
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Typically 7+ years in PMO, portfolio or project management roles, including 3+ years leading or managing a PMO within an IT function
Hands-on experience running demand intake, triage and prioritization across both BAU and project work
Experience managing change requests and defects for ERP or other business-critical systems, including working with third-party support partners
Experience in resource and capacity planning across multiple teams
A track record of producing reporting and papers for executive and steering committees
Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills
A recognized project or portfolio management certification (e.g. PMP, MSP or P3O)
Nice to have:
ITIL 4 Foundation
Agile or hybrid delivery experience (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
