Our Solutions Architecture team understands high-level business strategy and translates it into technical requirements for our customers. We love figuring out ways to stretch the limits of what is technically possible. Our job is to provide technical leadership and guidance to customers, prospects, and partners, helping them visualise the steps to achieve their business objectives, and then delivering the outcome with them.
This role spans the whole customer journey. Before the sale, you are the technical lead alongside our Sales team, shaping the solution and earning the technical win. After the sale, you stay with the customer and deliver it, owning the hands-on work that turns a signed contract into a working, adopted capability. You own the outcome, not just the design. When a customer asks a question, you answer it.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll develop a deep understanding of Chainalysis' solutions and offerings, explaining complex topics to a variety of audiences in a compelling yet understandable way. You'll directly impact some of our most strategic private sector customers, and throughout all of these activities you'll provide feedback that improves the value and experience customers have with Chainalysis' solutions.
In this role, you'll:
- Partner with the Sales team as the technical lead, running discovery, demonstrations, and proofs of value, and leading the discussions on value creation and solution development that achieve the technical win
- Design customer-specific solutions for the deployment and integration of Chainalysis products, and give guidance on technical challenges ranging from high-level architecture to code implementation
- Own the post-sale customer experience end to end, configuring, deploying, and tuning our products yourself rather than coordinating others who do it, and working alongside customer teams so they become self-sufficient
- Drive sustained adoption and measurable value, from fast onboarding through to the ongoing work of monitoring usage, reviewing product health, tuning rules and alerts, and intervening when adoption slips
- Map customer workflows to capabilities across the product suite, including investigations, compliance, security, and data analysis solutions
- Investigate using Chainalysis tooling to a competent standard, tracing, attributing, and analysing on the platform, so you can surface actionable insights and integrate Chainalysis into the customer's compliance and risk workflows
- Be the person customers look to for answers, resolving technical, compliance, analytical, and operational questions directly, and owning time-sensitive decisions by validating signals quickly and moving the right matters through the correct escalation path
- Communicate and translate complex technical requirements to our Product and Engineering teams, including data gaps such as unclustered or unattributed services that you find in the field
- Become a trusted technical advisor to both internal and external customers, identifying business opportunities and substantially increasing our foothold with private sector customers and prospects
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Worked in or directly with our private sector customer types: banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, payment processors, and blockchain developers
- Practical understanding of compliance, investigative, and risk workflows, and can speak credibly from practitioner experience in investigations, compliance, fraud, risk, or security
- A technical generalist background, comfortable with REST API integrations and familiar with how data is structured in SQL, and always interested in learning more
- Experience of account or customer management for an enterprise SaaS business, including commercial awareness and partnering with sales counterparts on renewals and expansion
- The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and executive audiences
- Curiosity, fast learning, and motivation to solve difficult customer problems
- A collaborative approach and generosity with knowledge
- Fluency in English
Nice to have experience:
- Financial compliance and anti-money laundering obligations
- Proficiency in Python, REST API integrations, and SQL databases
- Hands-on use of AI tooling to improve delivery quality or speed
- Experience handling sensitive data and proprietary methods, and protecting them while using them effectively
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
About Chainalysis
Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform, making it easy to connect the movement of digital assets to real-world services. Powered by deep blockchain data and AI, organizations can investigate illicit activity, manage risk exposure, and develop innovative market solutions built on the industry's most trusted blockchain intelligence. Our mission is to build trust in blockchains, blending safety and security with an unwavering commitment to growth and innovation.
You belong here.
At Chainalysis, we believe that diversity of experience and thought makes us stronger. With both customers and employees around the world, we are committed to ensuring our team reflects the unique communities around us. We’re ensuring we keep learning by committing to continually revisit and reevaluate our diversity culture.

If you're curious, bold, and excited to help shape a borderless financial future, we'd love to talk.
OUR ETHOS
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
The Role
We are hiring a Compliance Associate to support our bank sponsorship relationships and the compliance workstreams behind new product and market expansion. You will sit at the center of Product, Engineering, Legal, and our sponsor banks: translating partnership agreements and regulatory requirements into concrete product requirements, preparing the documentation our bank partners rely on, and helping launches move quickly without compromising on compliance.
This is a high-visibility, execution-heavy role for someone equally comfortable reading a bank partnership agreement and sitting in a product spec review. You will see products from concept through launch and own the compliance record that makes each launch defensible.
What You'll Do
• Serve as a day-to-day compliance point of contact for sponsor bank partners — responding to diligence requests, preparing materials, and tracking open items to closure.
• Review new products, features, and market expansions for compliance impact, and translate applicable regulations and bank partner requirements into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Build and maintain compliance documentation: requirement matrices, policies and procedures, launch checklists, control descriptions, and risk assessments.
• Read and interpret bank partnership agreements, network rules, and regulatory guidance, and flag where product designs create obligations or gaps.
• Partner with Product and Engineering from the start of the design process so compliance requirements are built in rather than retrofitted.
• Support disclosure, marketing, and UX reviews for accuracy and consistency with consumer protection expectations (UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC).
• Support bank partner oversight activities, audits, exams, and third-party risk assessments — including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and follow-up.
• Monitor regulatory and network developments relevant to card issuing, BaaS, and stablecoin-linked payments, and summarize the practical implications for the business.
• Track compliance deliverables and deadlines across multiple concurrent launches and stakeholders, escalating risks early and clearly.
What We’re Looking For
• 4+ years experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within banking, fintech, or payments.
• Working knowledge of the bank sponsorship / Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and third-party risk management expectations.
• Familiarity with core consumer financial regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC, EFTA, GLBA).
• Ability to read and interpret bank partnership agreements, regulatory guidance, and compliance requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with Product, Engineering, Legal, and bank partners.
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience creating compliance documentation (requirement matrices, policies, checklists).
• Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills; comfortable tracking multiple deliverables and deadlines across stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess compliance risk and prioritize issues.
Bonus Attributes
• Prior experience working directly with a sponsor bank or bank partnership team.
• Experience at a fintech, neobank, or payments company.
• Familiarity with product and project management tools.
• Professional certification such as CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager), CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), or similar.
• Experience supporting bank exams, audits, or third-party risk assessments.
• Exposure to stablecoins, digital assets, or cross-border payments.

The Board comprises a mix of executive and independent non-executive directors. This is a genuinely resident role. The appointee must be physically present in Seychelles, attend board and management meetings in person, and be available to engage with the FSA and the entity's advisers in Seychelles.
A non-executive director carries the same general legal responsibilities to the entity as any other director, and must perform those duties faithfully, efficiently and diligently to a standard commensurate with the role and with their own knowledge, skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Independentally Challenge
Bring an external and independent perspective to strategy, risk and conduct, and hold management to account on behalf of shareholders and stakeholders.
Provide constructive challenge and strategic guidance, and offer specialist advice to the Board.
Scrutinise the performance of management and of individual executive directors against agreed goals, and monitor how that performance is reported.
Act in good faith, honestly and responsibly, and make decisions objectively in what you consider to be the interests of the entity.
Regulatory Standing & Local Substance
Satisfy the FSA that the board of the Company meets its expectations on composition, competence and fitness and propriety under the VASP Act.
Provide the physical, resident board presence in Seychelles that the licence and the entity's governance arrangements require.
Attend board and management meetings in person, and engage with the FSA and the entity's advisers in Seychelles as required.
Collective Board Responsibilities
Promote the long term sustainable success of the entity, generating value for shareholders and contributing to wider society.
Establish the entity's purpose, values and strategy, and satisfy the Board that its culture is aligned to them.
Provide effective, prudent and ethical oversight, act with integrity, lead by example and promote the desired culture.
Ensure the resources needed to meet the entity's objectives are in place, and measure performance against them.
Establish and lead within a framework of prudent and effective controls that allows risk to be assessed and managed.
Ensure effective engagement with shareholders and stakeholders.
Ensure workforce policies and practices are consistent with the entity's values.
Individual Director Responsibilities
Satisfy yourself on the integrity of the entity's financial information, its financial controls, and whether its risk management systems are robust and defensible.
Determine appropriate remuneration for executive directors, and play a leading part in appointing and, where necessary, removing them.
Contribute to the entity's succession planning.
Uphold the highest standards of integrity, and support the chairperson in setting the values, behaviours and culture of the boardroom and beyond.
Committee Service
Serve on one or more board committees where required. The relevant terms of reference will be provided on appointment.
What We Look for in You
Resident in Seychelles, and currently holding the right to reside and work there.
Able to satisfy the FSA's fitness and propriety assessment.
Board level or senior governance experience in a regulated financial services, banking, insurance, fiduciary or corporate services business.
Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing obligations, and of the Seychelles regulatory environment.
Financial literacy sufficient to interrogate financial statements, controls and risk reporting without support.
Demonstrable independence of mind, and the willingness to challenge management and record dissent.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience of virtual assets, fintech, payments or capital markets.
Prior regulatory experience.
Experience chairing an audit, risk or compliance committee.
Experience of a group structure where much of the operating activity sits outside the licensed entity's jurisdiction, and of the oversight challenge that creates.
An established local network among Seychelles regulators, professional advisers and the financial services community.
