From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic player coach – a Lead Product Designer who’s ready to tackle complex UX challenges and elevate our product to new heights. If you’re excited to dive deep into intricate design problems, raise the bar for design quality, and design and build a complex interface to data.
You’ll shape the workflows that empower technical users to seamlessly explore and understand their data. You’ll dig into user needs, collaborate closely with product and engineering on product strategy, and help foster a culture where design is seen as crucial to our success.
You will largely own both the design and much of the implementation of a cloud hosted offering. Experience in data interfaces, especially business intelligence, SQL and data exploration interfaces is a giant plus.
We value curiosity, humility, ambition, and designers who understand the technical underpinnings of data, and can even implement their own designs. If this sounds like you, send us a hello with a link to your portfolio. We’d love to see how you think, how you work, and the impact you’ve made!
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end design strategy and execution for key areas of our product. Deliver creative solutions while proactively identifying and proposing future improvements and features. Collaborate closely with your stakeholders to shape roadmaps and product direction, align design strategy with business goals, and champion user-centered projects from concept to release.
Act as a vocal and opinionated champion for the user experience. Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization. Confidently challenge and influence cross-functional partners to embed user considerations in product decisions and ensure the user voice and UX vision remain at the forefront of our product strategy.
Leverage strong communication and compelling storytelling skills to inspire trust, clearly articulate design rationale in terms of business value and technical feasibility, and effectively align teams around your cohesive design strategy. Champion user-centric ideas with your stakeholders and ensure daily design work actively supports strategic business objectives.
Promote design excellence by leading, mentoring, and inspiring your team with your expert guidance, actionable feedback, and championing of best practices. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages experimentation, creativity, and continuous improvement. Actively explore new tools, methods, and approaches to elevate the design process and raise the bar for UX quality across teams.
Conduct and utilize user research to deeply understand our technical users. Proactively identifying user needs, pain points, and opportunities. Inform design decisions with insights from your research and validate your concepts through testing and feedback.
Deliver with grit and urgency and drive impactful results in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate resilience in navigating ambiguity, proactively unblock challenges, maintain momentum, and ensure high-quality design outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Skills We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience in end-to-end Product Design with significant experience designing for data-heavy, complex, technical or developer-oriented SaaS/B2B products.
Extensive AI tool and development experience
Proven track record of leading major design initiatives.
Proven track record of leading and mentoring other designers.
Exceptional product design skills, including user research, UX/interaction design, information architecture, and high-fidelity prototyping.
Strong systems-thinking capability with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity and simplify highly technical workflows.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to articulate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences including engineers, product managers, and executives.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's Safeguards team is responsible for enforcing our policies, protecting users, and ensuring our platform is not misused. As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst focused on Safety Evaluations, you'll play a central role in ensuring our models meet safety and policy standards before and after launch. You'll run and monitor evaluations, drive mitigations when issues surface, coordinate the creation of new evals, and help build the processes and documentation that allow the team to scale this work over time.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and capable of coordinating across teams to break new ground and drive work to completion. This work is deeply cross-functional — you'll partner closely with policy experts, Safeguards engineering teams, and many other stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure our evaluations are comprehensive and current, and that findings translate into meaningful improvements to model behavior.
Responsibilities
Support model launch readiness by running evaluations, monitoring and interpreting results, and surfacing regressions or unexpected behavior changes to relevant stakeholders
Partner closely with policy and domain experts throughout the evaluation lifecycle — from identifying risks and scoping the right evaluation approach, to coordinating creation of new evals and ensuring existing ones remain current with evolving policies, threat vectors, and model capabilities
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to help manage evaluation outcomes, including interpreting results and driving mitigations where needed
Think strategically about eval quality to build processes and eval paradigms that keep evaluations unsaturated, high-signal, and insightful as models improve
Build out processes and frameworks for creating product-specific evaluations as Anthropic's product surface area expands
Help design and scope tooling improvements that accommodate evolving eval needs and expand self-serve eval creation and iteration for non-technical users
Write and maintain rigorous documentation for evaluation creation, execution, and interpretation as the team builds out eval tooling and processes
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in trust and safety, content operations, policy enforcement, or a related operational role at a technology company
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — you're energized rather than frustrated when the path forward isn't clearly defined and you need to figure it out as you go
Have experience building processes, workflows, or programs from scratch (zero-to-one work), not just maintaining existing ones
Have strong program management instincts, naturally creating structure around complex, multi-stakeholder efforts by tracking timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to keep work on track
Are eager to expand your technical toolkit, including adopting internal tools and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate your work
Can manage multiple concurrent workstreams across different domain areas without losing track of details — strong prioritization and context-switching are essential when deadlines and priorities shift quickly
Are a strong generalist comfortable moving fluidly across different types of work and switching contexts throughout the day
Are comfortable making judgment calls with incomplete information and escalating appropriately when needed
Communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and cross-functionally
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience operating under tight, high-stakes timelines — such as product launch cycles, incident response, or regulatory deadlines — where information and priorities can shift with little notice
Experience coordinating across engineering, policy, and product teams to translate findings into concrete action
Experience building and maintaining SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation in fast-changing environments
Proficiency with data tools (SQL, dashboards, spreadsheets) sufficient to maintain and improve workflows
Comfort working with sensitive content areas as part of eval creation or enforcement review responsibilities
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$230,000
—
$270,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Software powers the world, and LaunchDarkly empowers all teams to deliver and control the best software. As an Senior Infrastructure Engineer on the IDE team, you'll help us build, automate, and improve the systems that keep LaunchDarkly running at scale.
Our platform serves over twenty trillion feature flags daily across a global AWS footprint. The IDE team owns the infrastructure layer — networking, compute, CI/CD, databases, observability — and we're looking for someone who wants to make that layer increasingly self-service and automated. You'll write software that replaces manual processes, build tools that help other engineers move faster, and contribute to a culture where operational toil is treated as a bug to be fixed, not a fact of life.
As part of our you-build-it-you-run-it culture, all engineers participate in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows
Build and improve internal tools and platforms that make other engineers more productive

Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand their infrastructure needs and reduce friction
Identify repetitive operational work and replace it with software
Qualifications:
8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Familiarity with AWS (you've used it; you don't need to have memorized every service)
You write code to solve problems — not just configuration, but actual software when the situation calls for it
You're curious about how things work and willing to learn new tools quickly
A commitment to working in a communicative and collaborative environment
You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
You value code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
Nice to have (but not required):
Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes
Experience with observability tools like Datadog

About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Slow, inefficient development cycles, costly outages, and fragmented customer experiences are preventing developers from building their best software. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:
Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages
Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

An overview of this role
As the Manager, Solutions Architects for our Enterprise team in the San Francisco Bay area, you'll lead a distributed group of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects serving enterprise customers in the West sales territory. You'll guide your team to act as trusted advisors to GitLab prospects and customers, helping them validate GitLab's Enterprise Edition as the right technical and business solution and supporting successful adoption of the GitLab platform across the entire software development lifecycle. You'll hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team, set clear expectations, and be accountable for how your team runs complex technical evaluations, articulates business outcomes, and collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing. You'll model the work of a Solutions Architect yourself, from solution design through technical presentations, so your team is equipped to drive meaningful customer change with GitLab.
What you'll do
Lead a distributed team of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects supporting Enterprise customers in the West territory.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, career support, and skills development in both technical and consultative areas.
Grow and retain a high-performing team by hiring thoughtfully, onboarding effectively, and fostering an inclusive, results-focused culture.
Guide by example by engaging in key customer opportunities as a Solutions Architect, from discovery through technical validation and successful adoption of the GitLab platform.
Drive the quality and consistency of technical evaluations, demos, and proofs of concept so that GitLab solutions clearly address customer business and technical requirements.
Collaborate closely with regional sales managers on territory strategy, account planning, and forecast support to ensure alignment between technical and commercial motions.
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to share field insights, influence the roadmap, and improve messaging around GitLab's Enterprise Edition and platform capabilities.
Own team execution by defining and tracking key performance indicators, and communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly to your team, peers, and leadership.
What you'll bring
Experience mentoring and developing technical team members, including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Experience managing or leading technical pre-sales or information technology professionals, ideally in an enterprise-focused environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other managers and cross-functional partners to plan and execute sales and go-to-market strategies.
Strong technical presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern software development or operations practices.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts and their impact on customer outcomes.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, related technologies, and common customer adoption patterns.
Ability and willingness to travel in line with business needs and the company's travel policy, and openness to learning and using GitLab and related tools, including through transferable experience from adjacent domains.
About the team
The Enterprise Solutions Architect team partners with our largest customers to design and validate technical solutions that drive successful adoption of the GitLab platform. This role leads a group of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects aligned to the West Enterprise sales territory, working closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to support complex evaluations and long-term customer outcomes. We operate in a fully remote, asynchronous way across North America, using GitLab and our handbook-first approach to stay aligned on strategy, share technical best practices, and continuously improve how we support the sales cycle.
