We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity:
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. Foundations produces the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) and partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams. Our team develops the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations. We utilize the grafana.com platform to engineer bespoke integrations and solutions that unify the diverse technical ecosystem of a modern software enterprise.
The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculations, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts.
This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana Cloud scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana Labs also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Usage squad owns the essential systems driving Grafana's business operations and customer usage calculations. Our domain encompasses maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, cost management and billing applications, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the customer user portal.
Our work sits at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. We build full-stack web applications, customer portals, backend services, APIs, and data integrations across internal Grafana platforms and third-party systems like NetSuite and Salesforce. When this domain works well, customers get clear usage visibility, reliable billing, and seamless account management workflows. This role is about 75% FrontEnd and 25% BackEnd.
Design, build, operate, and evolve reliable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, and backend services that power core customer usage and billing workflows
Build and maintain backend APIs (Golang, Node.js) and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React)
Design and maintain integrations between Grafana systems and external business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Develop and automate business logic for customer usage metering, pricing structures, promotions, and billing reconciliation
Collaborate across product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, and adjacent AppCore squads to deliver robust end-to-end features
Address technical debt, optimize CI/CD pipelines, strengthen test coverage, and improve system observability and operational resilience
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while shaping pragmatic solutions for complex systems challenges
Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall improvements, and long-term simplification of stack operations
You will help own the production behavior of the systems you build. That includes improving runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery procedures. You should be comfortable debugging across service boundaries and making careful changes in systems that affect customer stacks
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At Grafana, we actively embrace AI-assisted and agentic development practices, integrating these technologies into both our engineering workflows and the systems we deliver. We encourage our engineers to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance every stage of the lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and operations. We also look for strategic opportunities to embed agentic capabilities within our services to eliminate toil, bolster reliability, and ensure that complex customer workflows remain resilient and safe.
We are seeking a Staff FullStack Engineer who thrives on building production systems where correctness, scalability, and user experience are paramount. As a remote-first organization, you should be comfortable collaborating asynchronously across time zones and taking full ownership of the critical systems powering Grafana Cloud. Our team is small and operates with a high degree of independence; you will be expected to lead major projects, coordinate across service boundaries, and help define the technical direction for our domain.
You will be particularly successful in this role if you enjoy solving challenges related to stateful systems, eventual consistency, and reconciliation loops. We value engineers who can take ambiguous lifecycle requirements and transform them into explicit, modular solutions. You should be adept at breaking down complex systems work into safe, iterative increments while clearly communicating technical tradeoffs to both internal stakeholders and adjacent product teams.
Some things you might be expected to do could include:
Writing efficient, readable, and easy to maintain code
Designing new microservices or systems
Collaborating with teammates and other departments to reach consensus on proposed solutions
Coordinating with product and UX when needed
Responding to customer requests and feedback
When ready, participating in our follow-the-sun OnCall rotation
Participating in team decisions, such as roadmap planning and prioritization
Requirements:
You have at least 1 year of fully remote work experience
You have worked on a big SaaS platform and dealt with common distributed systems problems (e.g. scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, HA, …)
Strong professional experience with backend technologies (Golang, Node.js) as well as modern frontend web development (TypeScript, React)
Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
Have some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, and brainstorming ideas to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
You write clean, robust, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, operate, and maintain
Have experience with mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative but asynchronous environment
Can take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve tight learning loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and then progress iteratively
You are willing to work across teams. Your work has to be aligned with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders. You make your plans transparent, bring stakeholders on board, and are open to feedback and suggestions
Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.)
Bonus Points For:
Experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, or customer-facing cost management applications
Experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Cloud Marketplaces)
Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and modern CSS-in-JS tooling
Familiarity with cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS provisioning/tenancy patterns
Experience working on SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, plugin rollout, or customer lifecycle systems
Experience with incident response involving configuration drift, partial failure, or cross-service state mismatch

We are a leading trading platform that is ambitiously expanding to the four corners of the globe. Our top-rated products have won prestigious industry awards for their cutting-edge technology and seamless client experience. We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.
We are looking for a
Senior Product Owner
to build how Capital.com detects and prevents fraud and money laundering as we expand into new financial products and markets.
You will own the roadmap for fraud prevention and transaction monitoring. That covers the rules, models and systems that flag risky activity, and the tools teams use to review it. You’ll use AI to clear routine alerts automatically, so people can focus on the cases that need a person. You’ll work closely with Compliance, Operations, Data, Engineering and the Financial Investigation Unit. Because this is a new capability, you’ll shape it from the ground up and, over time, build the team that runs it.
Responsibilities:
Own and prioritize the product roadmap for fraud prevention and transaction monitoring within the agreed financial crime strategy.
Translate fraud threats, money-laundering risk scenarios and control requirements into clear product requirements, detection logic and acceptance criteria.
Lead the development of rules, models and preventive controls with Engineering, Data, Operations and Compliance. Apply AI and machine learning where they demonstrably improve detection, prevention and case handling.
Establish reliable, timely data inputs for detection. Identify gaps in data quality, availability or coverage and prioritise their resolution.
Evaluate proposed controls using historical data and realistic test scenarios. Assess detection coverage, missed activity, false positives and the impact on legitimate customers.
Deliver changes through the agreed approval process, with clear testing, staged rollout, monitoring and rollback plans.
Measure performance after release, including fraud losses, detection effectiveness and customer friction. Use the findings to improve controls without treating fewer alerts as proof of success.
Adapt fraud prevention and transaction monitoring capabilities to emerging threats, new products, markets and transaction types. Make readiness requirements and unresolved coverage gaps visible before launch.
Coordinate delivery across product teams and control owners, making priorities, dependencies and trade-offs clear and escalating decisions that require accountable leadership.
Requirements:
5+ years in product ownership or product management, including end-to-end ownership of a product roadmap at a senior level.
Strong financial crime experience covering both fraud and money laundering, gained in fintech, banking, payments or another regulated business.
Hands-on experience building detection capabilities such as rules, models or transaction monitoring systems.
Experience using AI or automation to reduce manual alert review, for example automated customer outreach, while keeping people on complex cases.
Strong data skills: you understand where data comes from and how reliable it is, and you can evaluate detection using historical data, coverage and false-positive analysis.
Experience releasing changes to live controls safely, with testing, staged rollout, monitoring and rollback.
Excellent stakeholder management, including working with Compliance and control owners through approval processes.
Experience building or growing a product team is desirable.

Why this role exists
Higgsfield builds tools for AI creators: creative workflows, collaborative projects in Cinema Studio, and a community for sharing work. We need a backend engineer who combines deep database and architecture expertise with the initiative to own product outcomes, from the first idea to production.
What you'll actually do
- Build AI creation workflows, Cinema Studio collaboration, and community features: sharing, discovery, contests, profiles, and follows.
- Own features and bugs through release and follow-up. Define API contracts and coordinate frontend work to deliver the complete feature.
- Deliver responsive UX: live progress, timely updates, and clear failure recovery, even when it takes more engineering effort.
- Remove database and service bottlenecks under high traffic; improve correctness, latency, and reliability.
- Define success metrics, build dashboards and alerts, and track adoption and system health after launch.
Must-haves
1. Deep database expertise: data modeling, indexes, query plans, partitioning, transactions, and locking. You diagnose production bottlenecks and understand the trade-offs behind your fixes.
2. Strong architecture judgment: service boundaries, APIs, asynchronous workflows, caching, and failure handling. Hands-on Kubernetes and CI/CD experience, from design and testing to deployment and debugging.
3. A track record of shipping and operating backend systems across multiple projects, including high-traffic workloads. You can explain your decisions and measurable results.
4. API security: authentication, object-level authorization, and tenant isolation. You prevent IDOR in reads and writes, including resource IDs in request bodies, and test access across users and workspaces.
5. You've built or studied social networks and collaborative tools, and can explain design trade-offs in feeds, follow graphs, notifications, sharing permissions, real-time sync, and concurrent edits.
6. High agency and ownership: you find worthwhile problems, propose improvements, remove blockers, and follow through without waiting for assignments.
7. Low ego: you welcome direct feedback, admit mistakes, change your mind with evidence, and help wherever the team needs you.
8. Ambition and optimism: hard goals and rapid growth energize you. You challenge assumptions constructively and commit to making ambitious ideas work.
9. Energy for an intense pace, shifting priorities, and urgent launches or production issues that can require work outside regular hours.
Our tech stack
- Languages and frameworks: Python (FastAPI), Go (Gin), and TypeScript (React/Next.js on the frontend).
- Data: PostgreSQL and Redis; analytical databases such as BigQuery or ClickHouse.
- Messaging: Kafka, Amazon SQS, and RabbitMQ; event-driven services and asynchronous workers.
- AWS: S3, DynamoDB, ECR, and Secrets Manager.
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes on Amazon EKS, Helm, Argo CD, and GitHub Actions.
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Sentry.
Interview process
1. Recruiter screen: role expectations, logistics, and fit.
2. Technical interview: a difficult system you shipped, what you personally decided and built, and how your work made the team more capable without leaving it dependent on you.
3. Additional technical interview, if needed: a deeper discussion of technical skills and open questions.
4. Product fit interview: turn a user problem into a small first release, decide what to leave out, and explain how feedback would change the solution.
5. Offer.
What we offer
Competitive base in USD, equity, relocation support, and ownership of product experiences that directly shape how people create with AI.

We strive to make our hiring process fair and comfortable for all candidates. Our process may include one-way video interviews, behavioral assessments, and timed cognitive tests. If you are an individual with a disability or are neurodiverse and need specific accommodations—such as extra time on a test, an alternative communication format, or flexible scheduling—please feel free to let us know. We’re happy to work with you to ensure you can perform at your best.

OUR HIRING PROCESS:
We will review your application against our job requirements. We do not employ machine learning technologies during this phase as we believe every human deserves attention from another human. We do not think machines can evaluate your application quite like our seasoned recruiting professionals—every person is unique. We promise to give your candidacy a fair and detailed assessment.
We may then invite you to submit a video interview for the review of the hiring manager. This video interview is often followed by a test or short project that allows us to determine whether you will be a good fit for the team.
At this point, we will invite you to interview with our hiring manager and/or the interview team. Please note: We do not conduct interviews via text message, Telegram, etc. and we never hire anyone into our organization without having met you face-to-face (or via Zoom). You will be invited to come to a live meeting or Zoom, where you will meet our INFUSE team.
From there on, it’s decision time! If you are still excited to join INFUSE and we like you as much, we will have a conversation about your offer. We do not make offers without giving you the opportunity to speak with us live.
