Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; comfortable managing many renewals at once.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow defined processes and frameworks while flagging exceptions appropriately.
Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and coaching from senior teammates and manager.
The ability to travel for events such as trainings, team offsites, customer meetings, etc.

About Scorewarrior.
We're a game developer and publisher from Cyprus with one single game in the 4x strategy genre: Total Battle. We're a one-game company on purpose, because in everything we do, we focus
We are currently concentrating on two major goals:
- To make our game #1 in its genre.
- To make our company the best place to work on games.
And we're far from there; we still have a lot of work to do.
That's why we need you.
Let's dive in.
As our Senior 3D Artist you will create video creatives for Total Battle's performance marketing. Your goal will be to turn creative concepts into engaging gameplay videos that attract new players.
This isn't a role where you simply execute a ready-made brief. You'll take a concept or mechanic, figure out how to bring it to life, build the scene and gameplay logic, and take it all the way to the final video.
Key responsibilities.
- Create 3D video creatives for Total Battle using Unreal Engine, as well as Houdini, Cocos, or Unity where appropriate.
- Build new gameplay mechanics and logic from scratch within a production cycle of up to 8 working days.

You could be a great fit for this position if:
- You have strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine/Houdini and Blueprints.
- You have a solid 3D foundation, including animation, lighting, composition, basic modelling, and rigging.
- You have experience creating marketing creatives for mobile games and a portfolio to show us.
- You have a basic understanding of game design and can turn an idea into engaging gameplay.
- You're comfortable working independently and figuring things out without a detailed brief.
- You care about the performance of your creatives, not just delivering the final result.
- You're constantly learning and looking for ways to improve your skills and workflow.
- You use AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and other GenAI tools in your work.
- You play and love video games.
- Experience with Cocos, Unity, Niagara, or programming languages would be a plus.
Why Scorewarrior?
- Work with a product you love: Total Battle is more than just a job; it's a passion project.
- Join a highly skilled team: We're a nerdy group of talented individuals who love what we do.
- Make a real impact: Your work will directly contribute to bringing new players into Total Battle and getting us closer to that number-one app store spot.
- Stability: Start working with a stable three-year contract with the potential to extend it to infinity and beyond.
- An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
- Full-coverage relocation for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
- Private health insurance for you and your family members.
- A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
- Lunch compensation.
- A sports and fitness allowance.
- Personal development opportunities paid for by the company: professional and language courses, books, etc.

The future of Web3 starts with you: join us as a !
Requirements
We're looking for a Senio/Staff-level engineer with an open mind and a builder's instinct - someone who goes beyond executing tasks and is ready to own the High-Performance practice end-to-end: establish engineering processes, drive R&D, evaluate and champion new technologies, and lead their adoption in production.
The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between business requirements for low latency and high throughput and the realities of existing infrastructure - translating "we need to be faster" into an actionable technical roadmap. You bring a fresh perspective, know how to organize the work, and are equally comfortable optimizing a hardware parameter and presenting a strategy to stakeholders.
We expect 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer in performance-critical environments - and the maturity to grow yourself and grow a team around you.
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time OS configurations, cgroups, CPU isolation, memory management, and low-level network stack configuration.
Hardware Internals:
Deep understanding of CPU power and performance states (C/P-states), Hyper-Threading / SMT trade-offs, TX/RX ring configuration, and the full data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU. Ability to reason about and tune each stage of that path under production load.
Networking & TCP Internals:
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP — congestion control, ACK behavior, buffer tuning, and protocol-level latency sources. Strong Linux networking fundamentals: low-latency NIC configuration, bypass networking technologies (DPDK, RDMA), and market connectivity (multicast feeds, co-location networks, VPNs).
Performance Engineering:
Practical experience profiling latency-sensitive systems; familiarity with tools such as perf, flamegraph, strace, tcpdump, eBPF, and hardware performance counters.
Containerization:
Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including low-overhead deployment patterns and performance trade-offs of containerized workloads.
IaC:
Proven track record with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Monitoring:
Hands-on experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and alerting (P99, jitter, throughput KPIs).
Scripting:
Solid scripting in Bash and Python; Golang is a strong plus given its role in systems tooling.
CI/CD & Secret Management:
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines with experience integrating performance validation stages; familiarity with Vault for secrets management.
Security:
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and Kubernetes security policies.
Key Performance Metrics You'll Work With
Latency Distribution
- P99 / P99.9 across the tick-to-trade path, using hardware-level timestamps (NIC/PTP).
Jitter
- variance between min/max latency, measured over large sample sets in live market conditions.
Throughput
- messages per second (orders + cancels) under exchange burst scenarios.
System Reliability
- сontinuous monitoring of uptime
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Hands-on experience with kernel-level optimization: syscall reduction, network stack bypass (DPDK, RDMA, Solarflare OpenOnload).
Background in HFT, algorithmic trading, or other ultra-low-latency production environments.
Experience with hardware timestamping, PTP/IEEE 1588, and precision time synchronization.
Familiarity with colocation operations and exchange connectivity (cross-connects, proximity hosting).
Proven SRE track record with formal SLO/error budget frameworks in latency-sensitive contexts.
DevSecOps: vulnerability scanning, Zero Trust, RBAC, and secure delivery pipelines.
Understanding of business processes in FinTech, crypto, or electronic trading.
Responsibilities
Low-Latency Infrastructure Ownership:
Design, deploy, and continuously optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive trading systems — market data handlers, order/deal gateways, and risk check engines. Own the full stack from bare metal to application delivery. Define and maintain a reference architecture for low-latency connectivity when onboarding new trading venues, including reproducible configuration baselines, validation procedures, and performance acceptance criteria — so every new venue goes live on a proven, optimized stack.
Cloud & Hybrid Network Connectivity:
Design, implement, and maintain complex low-latency network solutions for cloud provider interconnects - including cross-connects and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute links between cloud regions, hybrid on-premise/cloud topologies, and high-throughput inter-server fabrics. Ensure both latency minimization and fault tolerance at every layer: physical redundancy, failover routing, and path diversity across providers and regions.
Hardware & OS Stack Tuning:
Go deep on the full hardware and OS stack - CPU pinning, C/P-states, HT/SMT configuration, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, TX/RX ring sizing, NIC offloading, and network stack bypass (DPDK/RDMA where applicable). Understand the complete data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU - and optimize every hop.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate provisioning and configuration of high-performance environments using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm - with performance reproducibility as a first-class requirement.
Latency Profiling & Benchmarking:
Systematically profile and debug latency hotspots across the full execution path. Establish and maintain SLA/SLO targets; track P99/P99.9 distributions, jitter, and throughput - not just averages.
CI/CD for Performance:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that include automated latency regression testing, so performance degradations are caught before they hit production.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive latency monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana) - including hardware timestamping (NIC/PTP) and fine-grained performance telemetry.
Colocation & Network Placement:
Research, evaluate, and manage optimal server placements - colocations, cross-connects, proximity hosting. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to minimize physical and logical distance to exchanges.
High Availability & DRP:
Design systems that maintain stability and reliability under peak load while continuously pushing latency lower - zero regressions, always.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work alongside algo developers, quant teams, and network engineers to ensure trading strategies execute with minimal infrastructure overhead.

Requirements
We're looking for candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps / SRE and deep expertise in the following technologies:
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time kernels, process scheduling, memory management, cgroups, CPU isolation, and I/O optimization.
Cloud platforms:
Understanding of and experience in building complex systems focused on high availability (HA), low latency and high-performance computing (HPC)
Networking:
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, Ethernet, VLANs, and PTP at the wire level. Experience with low-latency network configurations and familiarity with kernel bypass technologies (DPDK, RDMA) is a strong plus.
Containerization:
Deep-dive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including performance trade-offs of containerized workloads and low-overhead deployment patterns.
IaC:
Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Hardware Performance:
Working knowledge of how CPUs, NIC queues, memory, and storage behave under pressure. Hands-on experience with hardware tuning (BIOS configs, CPU isolation strategies, NIC queue management).
Monitoring:
Practical experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and fire meaningful alerts rather than noise.
Scripting:
Proven track record writing production scripts in Bash and Python. Golang is a significant plus.
CI/CD:
Strong grasp of core CI/CD tools and experience with secret management using Vault.
Security: Understanding of DevSecOps principles and hands-on experience configuring security policies in Kubernetes (Zero Trust, RBAC, secure code delivery).
Databases:
Solid working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases under operational conditions.
On-Call & Incident Response:
High sense of ownership for production systems — willing to participate in on-call rotations and available to respond to critical incidents outside business hours when the situation demands.
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Linux: Deep-dive into kernel-level optimization — from syscalls and network card tuning to DPDK or FPGA-based networking.
Proven experience operating High Availability / Ultra-Low Latency solutions in live trading environments.
Experience with hybrid infrastructures (on-premise + cloud) — colocations, cross-connects, and proximity hosting.
Background in building and operating Big Data and Data Analytics platforms.
Understanding of business processes in the FinTech / Banking / Crypto / HFT sector.
Proven track record as an SRE with formal SLO / error budget frameworks.
DevSecOps: Vulnerability detection, enforcing security best practices, and experience with scanning tools (Trivy or Snyk).
Blockchain / crypto-native background is a bonus.
Responsibilities
Hybrid Infrastructure (Baremetal and Clouds):
Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), drive incident resolution, and take end-to-end ownership of system reliability.
Low-Latency Systems Operations:
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and tune latency-sensitive trading systems and exchange connections across multiple asset classes. You treat P99 latency as a first-class metric.
OS & Hardware Tuning:
Go deep on the Linux stack — CPU pinning, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, kernel parameter tuning, NIC offloading, and BIOS-level configurations. If it affects the tick-to-trade path, you own it.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm with performance reproducibility as a hard requirement.
CI/CD:
Build and maintain rock-solid CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) including automated performance regression checks.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK). Build latency-aware dashboards and alerting — P99/P99.9, jitter, throughput, and error rates.
High Availability & DRP:
Design and implement architectures adhering to HA, scalability, and Disaster Recovery principles — zero regressions while continuously reducing latency.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with quant, trading, and network engineering teams to squeeze every drop of performance from the full stack — from hardware up to application logic.
Working terms
Immerse yourself in Crypto & Web3:
Master cutting-edge technologies and become an expert in the most innovative industry.
Work with the Fintech of the Future:
Develop your skills in digital finance and shape the global market.

Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia’s fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
Salmon’s content (marketing, product, and support) is written in English first. Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya) versions still depend on ad hoc help. We want to change it, and we're looking for a person who will help us.
You can change that. You will write for our users in their own language: the app, push notifications, ads, and the website. Furthermore, you will own the work from brief to publication and become the team’s authority on how Salmon sounds in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya).
This is a senior role. You set the quality bar, build the glossary and your own part of our style guide, and make the calls yourself rather than follow someone else’s rulebook.
Done well, it could grow into its own small team.
What you’ll do:
- Write marketing, website, product, and in-app copy in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya): the app, push notifications, ads, and the website. You decide when to translate, when to rewrite from scratch, and what stays in English.
- Adapt tone and register for audiences in different regions. Cebuano work grows as the product expands into new regions.
- Work with Marketing, Content, and Product: take briefs, challenge them, and deliver on schedule.
What you’ll own:
- Own the quality bar for all Filipino-language content, including improving what is already published.
- Review Filipino-language content before it ships, including as a backup reviewer for other authors.
- Build and own the Filipino-language glossary and your part of the style guide, aligned with brand voice.
- Define how Salmon sounds in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya), and become the team’s authority on regional-audience nuance.
- Own the work from brief to publication and make the language calls yourself, rather than follow someone else’s rulebook.
- Lay the foundation for a Filipino-language function that could grow into its own small team.
What makes you a strong fit:
- Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya). You write in both, not only translate. Cebuano is required from day one.
- Strong English: you read our English briefs and spot what won’t work in Filipino.
- 3+ years of professional writing in Tagalog or Cebuano as part of a company team (marketing, content, product, media, or communications), with published work you can walk us through: what you decided and why.
- Strong editorial judgment: you evaluate quality, decide on your own, and give authors clear feedback.
- Understanding of how Filipinos use financial products and apps. We value product intuition as much as language skill.
- Experience building or contributing to glossaries, style guides, or tone-of-voice guidelines, and working experience with localization tools (Lokalise, Phrase, Smartling, or Crowdin) and Figma.
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Fully remote work with core collaboration hours from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8)
- Company-provided tools and equipment
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.
