ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a software engineer on the AI Solutions team, you will co-lead customer engagements with an AI Solutions Strategist. The Strategist owns business discovery, ROI narrative, stakeholder alignment, and rollout planning. The engineer owns technical discovery, solution design, prototyping, implementation, and production readiness.
This is a deeply client-facing role. You will spend significant time with customers and end users, moving projects from bootcamp and workflow discovery through implementation, launch, and steady production usage.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Translate customer goals into clear system requirements and non-functional requirements covering security, privacy, reliability, performance, scalability, and cost.
- Partner directly with customers to understand current workflows, constraints, systems, data quality, and adoption blockers.
- Create and maintain solution architecture artifacts:
- System context and data flow diagrams
- Integration plan across Ramp and customer systems
- Security model covering permissions, access patterns, and auditability
- Evaluation plan covering quality metrics, acceptance tests, and red-teaming
- Operational plan covering monitoring, alerting, incident response, and runbooks
- Leverage core Ramp primitives to build efficiently, reusing existing product capabilities wherever possible.
- Prototype and validate workflows with end users to de-risk the approach and prove product-market fit.
- Drive projects from bootcamp and technical discovery through implementation, production launch, and operational handoff.
- Ensure deployed workflows are reliable, supportable, measurable, and adopted by customer teams.
- Convert deployments into reusable patterns, components, and playbooks for future AI Solutions projects.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Experience shipping production software in high-ownership environments.
- Ability to work directly with enterprise customers from discovery through production implementation.
- Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, forward deployed engineering, or pre-sales engineering.
- Strong fundamentals in ML/GenAI, including problem decomposition, evaluation, and deployment trade-offs.
- Strong coding ability in at least one of: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or similar.
- Ability to design secure, scalable systems and produce clear technical documentation.
- Comfort working across APIs, integrations, data pipelines, customer systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud architecture on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and distributed systems patterns.
- Experience building LLM systems, including RAG, agents, monitoring, and evals.
- Willingness to travel up to ~50% as needed, flexible based on project needs and client needs
- Nice to have: Familiarity with finance operations workflows such as AP, procurement, expenses, close, reconciliation, and reporting.

From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is looking for a Head of Demand Engine to build the engine that turns our best product stories, customer proof, and market opportunities into scaled pipeline. You’ll lead demand programs across campaigns, digital, paid strategy, webinars, email, web, and emerging channels. You’ll partner closely with Product Marketing on audience and offer strategy, with Performance Marketing on paid execution, and with Field Marketing & Events on the moments that benefit from in-person activation.
This is a senior leadership role with both AMER and global scope. You’ll help set the global standard for how Notion plans, runs, tests, and measures demand programs, while learning from strong regional teams and making the best ideas repeatable across markets. You’ll lead a growing team spanning demand programs and digital demand, with room to expand into areas like partner marketing over time.
This is a build job as much as a run job. We’re looking for someone with real taste who can spot a strong idea, turn it into a sharp program, and build a repeatable engine around what works. You should care about quality and craft, but also love testing, data, systems, and execution. The opportunity is to modernize demand generation at one of the companies defining how teams work with AI.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the demand programs strategy, calendar, and operating rhythm across priority audiences, segments, and offers.
- Turn strong product stories, content, customer proof, and market opportunities into integrated programs that can scale across channels and regions.
- Build a high-velocity testing practice. Set a high bar for creative and execution, learn quickly, and put more weight behind what works.
- Serve as the global point person for paid digital demand strategy. Define the audiences, offers, creative, programs, and goals, then partner closely with Performance Marketing on execution and optimization.
- Lead digital demand across webinars, email, web, review sites, nurture, and new formats, creating new programs where the strategy calls for them.
- Partner with Marketing Ops and RevOps to build a trusted global approach to marketing ROI, attribution, forecasting, MQA/MQL methodology, and campaign reporting.
- Work closely with Enterprise Product Marketing on audience, offer, and campaign strategy, and with Field Marketing & Events on coordinated execution.
- Help build our muscle in account-based marketing and partner marketing as those motions develop.
- Be a trusted partner to Sales and executive leadership. Bring a clear point of view, make the numbers legible, and advocate for what will have the most impact.
- Hire, coach, and lead a strong team across demand programs and digital demand.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A track record of building and scaling B2B demand programs that create qualified pipeline.
- Strong judgment and taste. You can point to specific programs that worked because the audience, offer, creative, and execution were sharp.
- Deep digital demand experience across paid strategy, email, web, webinars, nurture, and integrated campaigns.
- A testing mindset and the operating discipline to turn learnings into repeatable programs, systems, and investment decisions.
- Comfort with data. You can work closely with Marketing Ops and RevOps on attribution, reporting, forecasting, and ROI, and translate the numbers into clear action.
- Executive presence. You earn trust with Sales and company leaders, hold a strong point of view, and are comfortable making hard calls.
- Experience leading and developing strong teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience operating across regions, or genuine curiosity and appetite to build globally.
- Comfort with ambiguity. This model is still being written, and you’ll help write it.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building account-based marketing programs.
- Experience with partner or ecosystem marketing.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an ML Engineer to own the production inference stack for our text-to-speech (TTS) and speech recognition (ASR) models, end to end. Our research team delivers trained model checkpoints; you will productionize them as low-latency, real-time streaming services that run cost-efficiently on GPUs. The role covers the inference engines, the Kubernetes infrastructure they run on, and the performance benchmarking and accuracy validation that let us ship changes safely. You will bridge research and production, and own latency, throughput, cost and accuracy as we scale.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and optimize streaming inference engines for TTS and ASR models, including multi-stage model pipelines.
- Optimize latency (time to first chunk, p50/p99) and throughput using continuous batching, CUDA Graphs, torch.compile and mixed precision.
- Maintain numerical parity with the reference implementation through automated accuracy regression tests, per stage and end to end.
- Deploy and operate GPU inference services on Kubernetes: autoscaling, containerization and infrastructure as code.
- Build CI/CD for model artifacts, with model versioning and reproducible releases.
- Own observability and performance benchmarking: p50/p99 latency, real-time factor (RTF), GPU utilization and cost per request.
- Partner with research to productionize new models.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling and optimizing ML models in production, beyond consuming model APIs.
- Working knowledge of the full inference stack, from CUDA kernels to serving frameworks, with depth in some layers; expertise across all of them is not expected.
- GPU performance optimization: profiling (Nsight Systems, PyTorch Profiler), memory bandwidth, CPU-GPU synchronization.
- Solid understanding of model serving: continuous batching, KV cache management, request scheduling.
- Production experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Python and PyTorch, and a rigorous approach to performance benchmarking.
- Experience with speech or audio models (TTS, ASR, voice conversion).
- Experience with inference frameworks such as vLLM (vLLM-Omni), SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TensorRT or Triton Inference Server.
COMPENSATION:
When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
BENEFITS FOR U.S.-BASED ROLES:
- Competitive salary and generous company equity
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance – 99.99% of premiums covered by Cantina
- 42 days of paid time off, including:
- 15 PTO days
- 10 sick days
- 15 company holidays
- 2 floating holidays
- Generous parental leave & fertility support
- 401(k) retirement savings plan
- Lifestyle spending account – $500/month to use however you’d like
- Complimentary lunch and snacks for in-office employees
- One Medical membership, and more!
