ClickHouse is looking for Growth Engineers who are obsessed with both craft UI and agentic experiences. You care about the button, the empty state, and the agent that helps someone get unstuck, and you care equally about whether any of it moved the number.
You’ll join our growth pod to build experimentation infrastructure, onboarding flows, and product surfaces across the self-serve funnel: classic human UI and AI-assisted / agent-driven flows. You’ll work side by side with unified console engineers, but your mandate is speed and impact: ship something testable, measure it, and iterate. You’re motivated by moving a number and learning fast, more than by getting every detail right on the first try.
This is a new role at ClickHouse. You’ll help define what growth engineering looks like here: PLG experimentation that spans human and agentic experiences. You’ll work closely with product, design, and data science on one pod, and partner with unified console and app teams on shared product surfaces.
What you will do:
- Build and ship experiments across the self-serve funnel: signup, onboarding, activation, and monetization flows.
- Design and polish human UI (flows, forms, empty states, navigation, microcopy surfaces) with a high bar for clarity and conversion.
- Design and ship agentic experiences (AI-assisted onboarding, in-product agents, guided workflows) that help users reach value faster.
- Run disciplined experiments on both: hypothesis, instrumentation, ship, learn. Tools like GrowthBook are part of the day-to-day.
- Partner closely with product, design, and data science to go from idea to shipped experiment quickly.
- Work within the Cloud Console codebase alongside unified console engineers, and partner with app teams (including Observability, Agents, and Postgres) on strong end-to-end user flows.
- Obsess over metrics: acquisition, activation, and monetization. You want proof that what you shipped moved the needle.
Requirements:
- Experienced in full-stack product engineering (TypeScript / Node / React), ideally including time on a growth, product, or experimentation-focused team.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with real taste for product UI.
- Experience building with LLMs or agent patterns in a product (tool calling, streaming, evals, system/prompt design), or a clear track record of shipping AI features you measured and iterated on.
- Comfortable shipping a smaller, testable version of an idea first, then iterating based on what you learn.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with experimentation or A/B testing tools (e.g. GrowthBook, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly), or strong interest in building that muscle.
- Proficient with Git and collaborative code review.
- Excellent communication skills. You’ll work daily with PM, design, data science, marketing, and other engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You’ve shipped both polished UI experiments and agentic / AI-assisted product experiences (not just prototypes), with instrumentation and iteration.
- Experience on a growth or product-led-growth team, ideally at a company with a self-serve funnel.
- Experience with ClickHouse or other data-intensive/analytics products.
- Familiarity with Auth0 or similar auth integrations.
- Experience working closely with (but not necessarily reporting into) a separate platform or infrastructure engineering team.
- You have opinions on what makes great human UX and great agent UX, and you use AI heavily in your own workflow.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion’s Data Foundations team builds and operates the batch and streaming infrastructure behind our product features, analytics, search, and AI experiences. We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to shape the next generation of this platform as Notion serves larger customers, expands globally, and supports more data-intensive products. You’ll identify the highest-leverage problems, set direction, build and develop a high-performing team, and lead multi-quarter initiatives across our data lake, streaming, distributed-compute, governance, and reliability systems. You’ll stay close to critical technical decisions while creating clear ownership, growing engineers and technical leaders, and helping the team execute as one—partnering closely with Data Engineering, Data Product, Search, AI, Infrastructure, and Security.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Set the direction for Data Foundations. Turn ambiguous company and customer needs into a clear multi-quarter strategy across the data lake, streaming, distributed compute, governance, and platform reliability—and align engineers and partner teams around it.
- Build and develop a high-performing team. Attract strong engineers, set clear expectations, grow technical leaders, and create an environment of ownership, direct feedback, and accountability.
- Lead the team’s hardest initiatives from idea to operation. Ensure complex work has strong technical ownership, de-risk architectures through prototypes, break work into shippable milestones, and coordinate execution across engineers and teams.
- Make Notion’s data platform enterprise-ready. Guide the team toward durable foundations for external key management, data residency, access controls, lifecycle management, and governance without creating separate systems for every requirement.
- Raise reliability, simplicity, and cost efficiency. Identify systemic risks and architectural gaps, establish clear service ownership, and lead migrations that make Kafka, Debezium, S3/Iceberg, Spark, EMR, Athena, and related systems easier to operate at scale.
- Multiply the engineering organization. Establish reusable abstractions and paved paths, delegate meaningful ownership, raise the quality of technical decisions, and scale expertise through coaching, documentation, tooling, design reviews, and direct collaboration.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Deep data-platform expertise. You have designed and operated large-scale batch and streaming systems and can reason across storage, compute, ingestion, orchestration, serving, governance, and production operations.
- Direction-setting leadership. You have led a Data Platform or infrastructure team through multi-quarter work—finding the right problems, defining a strategy, sequencing execution, and driving decisions with long-term consequences.
- Team-building and talent development. You have attracted strong engineers, grown people across career stages, developed technical leaders, and created clarity when expectations or performance needed to change.
- Hands-on engineering judgment. You stay close to critical systems and designs and know when to prototype, simplify, buy, build, or migrate. You can go deep while preserving ownership for the engineers leading the work.
- Platform-product thinking. You understand the needs behind partner requests and turn repeated patterns into safe, ergonomic, self-serve capabilities rather than accumulating bespoke solutions.
- Organizational influence. You create clarity across team boundaries, surface uncomfortable technical or organizational risks early, and help engineers do their best work through strong context, delegation, feedback, and coaching.
- You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, move faster, and build more creatively.
THE SYSTEMS AND PROBLEMS YOU MAY LEAD
- Evolving Notion’s data lake toward an S3 + Iceberg lakehouse with stronger governance, discoverability, schema evolution, and lifecycle controls
- Scaling Kafka and Debezium-based streaming infrastructure that powers real-time product, analytics, and AI use cases
- Improving Spark and distributed-compute performance, workload isolation, developer experience, and cost efficiency
- Designing EKM, data residency, and compliant processing capabilities across Notion’s data estate
- Creating clear platform interfaces and self-serve primitives for Data Engineering, Search, AI, and product teams
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Notion’s data infrastructure is no longer only an internal analytics layer. It increasingly powers customer-facing features, AI systems, enterprise controls, and high-volume product workflows. The team needs a leader who can see across these systems, build the technical leadership and operating culture required for that responsibility, and find the problems that matter before they become roadmap blockers. Success means Data Foundations has a strong, growing team with clear direction and dependable execution—and teams across Notion can build ambitious data-powered products faster without compromising customer trust.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $281,000 - $334,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As Anthropic's Public Sector Sales Lead for France, you will be the face of Anthropic to the French State. This is a founding, zero-to-one role: there is no public sector team in France today, and you will build our strategy, our routes to market and our first strategic relationships from the ground up. Reporting to our EMEA South leadership, you will lead the adoption of safe, frontier AI across central government, starting with the largest ministries. You will work hand in hand with our Public Policy lead in Paris, because in few companies is policy as central to the mission as it is at Anthropic, and with Partnerships, Legal, Security and Product to put in place the commercial and compliance frameworks the State needs in order to work with us at scale.
This is a senior individual contributor role. We expect you to have run a public sector business and led teams, and to be energised by stepping back into a hands-on seat where you build it yourself and where the size of your team says nothing about the size of your scope. In the first year, success is measured less by a large number and more by putting Anthropic on the map with the French State: a clear strategy, the right foundations and our first strategic agreements.
Responsibilities
Define and own Anthropic's public sector go-to-market strategy for France: where we play first, how we win, and what we need to build to get there
Be the senior face of Anthropic to the French State, building trusted relationships with ministerial cabinets, senior officials and digital and technology leaders across the largest ministries, including defence, finance and justice
Own the full sales cycle on our first strategic public sector opportunities, from first engagement through procurement route, close, deployment and expansion
Work with Partnerships, Legal and Finance to put in place the routes to market the State needs, including resale and partner channels, framework agreements and central purchasing bodies such as UGAP
Partner day to day with our Public Policy lead in France so that commercial and policy engagement reinforce each other, and stay aligned with French and European AI strategy and regulation
Lead the conversation with customers on data sovereignty, security and compliance (for example SecNumCloud and the State's cloud doctrine), and work with Security, Legal and Product on how we meet those requirements
Prove value with customers alongside a shared Applied AI architect, cloud providers and systems integrators, doing much of the groundwork yourself in the early stages
Learn from and contribute to our UK and US public sector teams, bringing what works to France and sharing what you learn
Create the playbooks, references and operating rhythm that will let us scale a public sector team in France over time
You may be a good fit if you have
15+ years in enterprise technology sales, including significant time running a public sector business unit or leading sales teams that sell to French central government
The appetite to move from a leadership role into a hands-on senior individual contributor role with no team at the outset
Evidence that you thrive building from zero: a new market, a new business line or an early-stage company, where systems, processes and support were not yet in place
A track record of landing large, complex and genuinely transformative agreements with major ministries, as the person leading the deal
A deep, senior network across central government, and the credibility to engage at director and cabinet level as well as with technical teams
Practical command of French public procurement, including tenders, framework agreements, central purchasing bodies and partner or resale routes
Real expertise in data sovereignty, security and compliance requirements in the French State, and experience leading those conversations with customers
Experience of, or a clear aptitude for, working closely with public policy or government affairs colleagues
Ownership and resilience: you treat what is missing as something to build, and you bring colleagues with you to build it
The technical curiosity to learn our products in depth and hold credible conversations with both engineering leaders and senior officials
Fluent French and English, with excellent written and spoken communication in both
Willingness to go through French security clearance (habilitation) should specific accounts require it
A genuine commitment to safe and beneficial AI, and the ability to articulate why it matters for public institutions

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT US
Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a disciplined, highly autonomous Middle Next.js Developer to build and ship product features for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will own features end to end across a TypeScript monorepo — a Next.js App Router client, a Fastify + Payload CMS API on PostgreSQL, and Cloudflare Workers at the edge — from the moment you receive a task, through breaking it down, estimating, implementing, testing, and observability, to a clean release to production and confirmation that it works for real users.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited for someone who treats production as the standard, not the finish line. Half-tested code, silent failures, and unverified AI-generated output are not acceptable. The codebase is convention-heavy — a layered Feature-Sliced Design structure with strict import rules — and you are expected to work inside those conventions rather than around them. You are accountable for every task you take on and for every area of the product you touch: if it breaks, regresses, or stays half-finished, that is yours to see through. We expect maximum autonomy and real involvement in the product — you work independently within a sprint, communicate risks before they become blockers, and escalate architectural decisions to senior engineers rather than guessing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FEATURE DEVELOPMENT
- Build features across the Next.js client and the Fastify + Payload CMS backend according to product requirements
- Write code that follows the team's Feature-Sliced Design layering, naming, and import conventions
- Ship changes behind feature flags and A/B experiments, fully localized across every supported locale
- Integrate third-party providers — billing, email/CRM, analytics — over REST APIs and webhooks
QUALITY & RELIABILITY
- Cover functionality with unit, integration, and e2e tests at the level the team expects
- Run a thorough self-review before code review, and review teammates' code with the same rigour
- Fix bugs and perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues
- Optimize page and endpoint performance — rendering and caching strategy, database queries, bundle size
SECURITY & OBSERVABILITY
- Apply secure development practices: schema validation, access control, safe handling of secrets
- Follow observability practices — structured logging, metrics, and alerts — using existing tooling
COLLABORATION
- Break down, estimate, and ship your own tasks to production within the sprint — and stay accountable for them after release
- Own the areas of the product you work in: their stability, performance, and follow-up fixes
- Surface requirement clarifications, estimate changes, and risks early and in writing
- Escalate complex architectural decisions and critical risks to senior engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of commercial React experience, including 1+ year with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, route handlers, rendering and caching strategies) and solid TypeScript
- Node.js backend experience on a typed HTTP framework (Fastify, Nest, or Express) with PostgreSQL — REST API design, schema migrations, integrations over REST and webhooks (signature verification, idempotency, retries) — plus a working understanding of HTTP/REST, auth mechanisms, and web security fundamentals
- Hands-on with the modern client stack: TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form + Zod, Tailwind CSS, and a React component library such as HeroUI, MUI, or shadcn/ui
- Experience with a code-first headless CMS on PostgreSQL (Payload, Strapi, Directus, or equivalent) — collections, access control, generated types, migrations
- Testing and delivery discipline: e2e tests (Cypress or Playwright) and unit/integration tests (Vitest or Jest), Git flow, code review, working with CI
- Daily use of AI development tools (Claude Code or equivalents), including configuring them for a project — context, instructions, rules, MCP/integrations — with full ownership of the quality, security, and correctness of generated code
- English — B1+
LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES
- Owns the outcome — takes a task from requirement to production without waiting to be pushed, and stays accountable for the result and the area it touches
- Maximally autonomous and involved — needs a goal, not step-by-step instructions, and cares how the product performs, not just whether the ticket is closed
- Verifies before trusting — treats AI output, third-party responses, and your own code as unproven until tested
- Structured communicator — surfaces risks, blockers, and estimate changes early, in writing, in a remote team
- Knows the edge of their scope — escalates architectural and security decisions instead of improvising them
- Learns from incidents — fixes the root cause, not just the symptom

About airSlate
airSlate is a global SaaS technology company that develops no-code workflow automation, electronic signature, and document management solutions. Our award-winning products - SignNow, pdfFiller, DocHub, altaFlow, Instapage, and US Legal Forms - serve over hundreds of millions of users and more than one million customers worldwide, helping organizations of every size digitize processes, improve efficiency, and transform how they work.
We’re in an exciting phase of growth and transformation, with teammates in more than 20 countries across three continents and main hubs in the United States, Poland, Ukraine and Philippines.
At airSlate, we’re building value for customers and a culture where growth and innovation go hand in hand. We’re looking for people eager to shape products, scale a company, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
As our first B2B Demand Generation Leader, you'll build the function from the ground up: define the strategy, choose the tech stack, and create the repeatable pipeline machine that scales signNow and AltaFlow B2B revenue. You'll inherit an existing sales motion, established brands, and a self-service customer base of millions - your job is to accelerate what's already working, not prove a concept.
This is a greenfield mandate with a real commercial foundation beneath it. If you've built before, you'll know how rare that combination is.
Salary range: $180,000/yr — $220,000/yr
What you'll work on:
Build and lead airSlate’s B2B demand-generation function and team across the portfolio, initially prioritizing SignNow and AltaFlow.
Design and execute integrated ABM, lead-generation and nurture programs for SMB, mid-market and selected enterprise buyers.
Jointly set MQL, sourced-pipeline and funnel-conversion targets with Sales, RevOps and each BU, and own delivery against them.
Define and continually improve target-account selection, qualification, lead scoring, routing, handoff and follow-up SLAs with Sales and RevOps.
Partner with GTM Leaders, PMMs and Campaign Strategy to translate ICP, positioning and business priorities into campaigns and sales-ready assets.
Instrument attribution and report conversion from demand source through sales-accepted opportunity; optimize by campaign, source, segment and product.
Assess current people, processes and technology; redeploy and hire talent as appropriate, and build repeatable operating cadences with Marketing Ops, Data and the CIO.
Requirements:
8–12+ years in B2B demand generation, including direct experience building and scaling a function from an early stage; B2B SaaS experience required.
Demonstrated record of producing measurable sourced pipeline for sales-assisted SMB/mid-market motions through ABM, lead generation and nurture.
Proven ability to operate as a peer to Sales and RevOps and to define, defend and improve MQL criteria, scoring, routing, handoffs, SLAs and pipeline commitments.
Hands-on builder and people leader who can personally design and run programs before the team is fully staffed, then recruit, coach and scale the organization.
Strong command of modern MarTech/RevOps systems, attribution and funnel analytics; able to partner on stack and data architecture without depending entirely on others.
Comfortable in a multi-product, multi-BU environment with differing GTM motions; PLG-to-sales-assisted experience strongly preferred.
Strong customer and market orientation, executive communication and fluent English; U.S. location preferred, or Western Europe with meaningful U.S. customer exposure and Eastern Time overlap. Regular travel expected.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. Document/workflow software experience is a plus.

About the product
Total Battle is an MMO 4X strategy game with deep political systems and intense player-to-player interaction. Players build cities, forge alliances, fight monsters, and compete for dominance. The game runs on mobile and web, with millions of active players, which means every technical decision we make is felt at scale.
Why this role exists
Our framework team carries a wide mandate: we own the foundation that every game feature is built on — from the rendering and UI layer to the asset pipeline, build system, debug tooling, and developer documentation. That foundation has real problems today.
🎯Our mission: create a reliable foundation for product development — simple, fast, and high-quality — so that game features can be built without friction.
Right now we have two codebases (C++ mobile, C# Unity), slow developer iteration cycles, UI that only engineers can touch, and technical constraints that limit what we can ship. This hire is part of the team that will fundamentally solve these problems — and make sure they never come back.
What you'll work on
Your area of ownership spans the full client platform stack:
- Framework core and LibRocket integration
- Game engine layer and cross-platform support
- Tooling for artists, animators, and UI/UX specialists
- Build pipeline, CI, and test infrastructure
- App initialization and startup performance
- Debug tooling and observability
- Developer regulations and documentation
Near-term tasks in the backlog include: building an extensible asset loader, reducing nullptr risk, improving code testability, lowering the cost of adding debug functionality, and moving to a unified build pipeline. Alongside this, the team is validating an experiment that may lead to building a new client from scratch — a significant greenfield opportunity.
The north star
We're working toward a single codebase across all platforms, where business logic is engine-agnostic and platform-specific code lives only at the framework level. Features will be isolated modules with explicit interfaces and dependencies. Artists and animators will be able to see their work in the game without a developer in the loop. The game will react to player actions instantly — no spinners, no rollbacks. And no waiting on store review to ship fixes.
That's where we're going. Your job is to help get us there.
Who you are
We're looking for an engineer who goes deeper than the task description. When given a problem, you dig for the root cause before proposing a solution. You think in products: MVP first, iterate, measure against real metrics. You design APIs that don't become roadblocks six months later.
- Self-directed: you work from a problem statement, not a step-by-step spec
- Product-minded: you decompose work into deliverable slices and validate assumptions early
- Strong system designer: your APIs are clean, flexible, and future-proof
- Proactive: you identify problems others have accepted and propose solutions
- Communicates clearly in Russian: your day-to-day communication with your direct team
- Communicates clearly in technical English: written RFCs, code review, cross-team discussion
We're not looking for someone who wants a clearly scoped ticket to execute, or someone whose primary motivation is building gameplay features. This team builds the platform that makes gameplay possible.
Requirements
- 3+ years of C++ (17+) or similar experience in a client application at a product company
- Strong grasp of design principles and patterns (and knowing when not to use them)
- Experience with task decomposition and iterative delivery
- Proficiency in technical English (reading docs, writing RFCs, async collaboration)
Nice to have
- Active use of LLMs in your work to significantly boost your productivity
- Experience with game engines or framework-level development
- Commercial experience with Cocos2d-x
- Experience with Unity (C#)
- Familiarity with cross-platform build systems (CMake, CI pipelines)
How we work
You'll receive a problem, not a ticket. You're expected to explore the context, identify the root cause, propose and align on a solution, ship it, and then verify it worked based on feedback and metrics. Delivery is incremental: proof of concept to validate a hypothesis, then a full solution. Predictability matters as much as output.
After 12 months, a great hire here is fully autonomous — picking up problems that span both technical and product dimensions, delivering in predictable increments, and raising the capability of the people around them.
Why join Scorewarrior
- Onsite work in Limassol, Cyprus: We aim to provide a comprehensive benefits package that supports both your professional growth and comfortable life in Cyprus. You will work from our modern offices in Limassol, surrounded by a highly professional and passionate team that truly enjoys what they do.
- Stable and transparent compensation, 13th salary, a bonus after successfully passing probation
- Additional paid days (sick leaves, Christmas holidays, corporate conferences and events)
- Full relocation coverage for you and your family, if not in Cyprus yet
- Monthly allowance for preschool, school, and university expenses for employees’ children
- Access to courses, learning platforms, and professional resources
- Company-funded professional and language courses, books, and certifications
- Access to gyms and sports facilities via SportBenefit

Job Description
About the role
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Staff Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform Team. Our team’s mission is to build a platform where you can create reliable, scalable, AI-powered streaming and batch data applications, and share data across Checkout.com http://Checkout.com to improve business performance.
The Data and AI Platform team is here to ensure internal stakeholders can easily collect, store, process and utilise data to build AI use cases and data products aiming to solve business problems. Our focus is on maximising the amount of time engineers spend on solving business problems and minimising time spent on technical details around implementation, deployment, and monitoring of their solutions.
We're building for scale. As such, much of what we design and implement today is the technology/infrastructure which will serve hundreds of teams and petabyte-level volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stream processing technologies (Kafka and Flink) to build a continuously available large-scale event streaming platform
- Leverage subject matter and technical expertise to provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic influence across the organisation whilst building strong relationships with engineers and engineering managers
- Build tooling (modules/SDKs/DSLs) and associated documentation to foster the adoption of the streaming platform by enabling upstream teams and systems to easily publish data and deploy streaming applications
- Implement all the necessary infrastructure to enable end users to build, host, monitor and deploy their own streaming applications
- Provide consultancy across the technology organisation to drive the adoption of the platform and unlock event-driven use-cases
- Participate, translate, run and execute the collection of requirements and architecture/design initiatives into action plans
- Provide hands-on support for all event-based systems including incident triage and root cause analysis
About You
While experience with our specific tech stack is a plus, we welcome candidates with a strong background in data systems who are eager to learn. The core remit of this role is to own and scale our event streaming capability, not to serve as a general DevOps or infrastructure engineer.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing engineering organisations
- Strong engineering background with a track record of implementing and owning event streaming platforms
- Hands-on experience working with stream technologies, ideally Kafka
- Experience designing and implementing stream processing applications with Flink
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS (MSK, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS)
- Experience with Kubernetes (either self-hosted or on the cloud)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience working with Docker, container deployment and management
- Experience describing infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) as well as designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent programming skills with at least one of Java or Python
Additional Information
Bring all of you to work
