About the job
We are looking for Fullstack Engineer to help QVAC application teams develop, review, test, and deliver reliable software with less friction. Your focus will be our desktop and mobile applications and their shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages. You will build and maintain developer tools, integrate AI agents into engineering workflows, and improve code quality and delivery automation.
This is a hands-on engineering role with room to shape the tooling roadmap. You will work with engineers to identify useful improvements and own them from implementation through adoption and ongoing support. Success means shorter feedback loops, dependable automation, and tools that developers trust and use.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, including the repository guidance and integrations they need to work effectively.
Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows that investigate failures, propose fixes, and give engineers evidence they can act on.
Improve automated pull request reviews, evaluating finding accuracy and reducing noise for reviewers.
Develop code quality scripts and checks for complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions. Work with package owners on practical thresholds and targeted refactoring.
Improve development environments, testing, and build and release workflows so engineers and agents can verify changes reliably.
Prioritize improvements with engineering teams, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and measure effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.
Example projects include agents that investigate CI failures, diagnose compatibility and performance regressions, and flag changes that affect package interfaces or architecture. You will choose and refine these workflows with the engineers who use them.
Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript and
Node.js
skills.
Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents, with sound judgment about their limitations, output validation, and human review.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration failures.
A strong approach to code quality: maintainable code, useful automated checks, and refactoring that preserves behavior.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with engineers, and communicate clearly in English within a remote, globally distributed team.

- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Customer Service, Antifraud, and Engineering to align requirements and build end-to-end processes.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes, including AS-IS/TO-BE mapping, with BPMN or similar visualization tools.
- Experience working with internal IT systems: translating business needs into functional and system requirements, and supporting implementation with engineering.
- Working-level SQL: able to independently investigate data, test hypotheses, and find the root causes of issues.
- Data-driven approach: able to define and analyze operational metrics, assess process efficiency, and propose improvements independently.
- Working English for business communication: able to discuss processes, align requirements, and work with international teams.
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Fully remote work with core collaboration hours from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8)
- Company-provided tools and equipment
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia

COMPANY
At 0x https://0x.org/, our mission is to "Create a Tokenized World Where All Forms of Value Can Flow Freely". We deliver this to web3 builders with a delightfully simple suite of developer APIs that provide faster trading, better prices, and superior user experience.
Founded in 2017, we’ve processed over 211M+ transactions and $180B+ in trading volume from users trading on Matcha, Coinbase Wallet, Robinhood Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, DefiLlama, MetaMask, Zerion, Zapper, and many more. Our investors include Greylock Partners, Pantera Capital, and Jump Crypto.
When you join 0x, you’ll become part of a veteran team of crypto builders who know the importance of code quality, team cohesion, and a culture of learning.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to help elevate the visual identity of two very different brands across every touchpoint: 0x https://0x.org/, our onchain routing infrastructure, and Matcha https://matcha.xyz/, our consumer DEX aggregator. Today, the biggest priorities are sales enablement, web design and social graphics, with about 90% of your time spent on 0x and 10% on Matcha.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a designer who can move fluidly between high-craft visual design and the practical demands of a fast-moving marketing and sales function. As the only designer on our marketing team, you’ll play a key part in shaping how the 0x and Matcha brands look and feel.
The role requires an overlap with US Pacific hours.
What you’ll do
- Evolve visual identity and brand guidelines for 0x.
- Design and maintain a library of sales enablement assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, proposal templates and partner kits.
- Design web pages, including landing pages, product pages, and comparison pages.
- Design social graphics for both 0x and Matcha.
- Design for campaign launches and major sales or industry moments, from concept through final assets.
- Build brand and marketing templates and components that non-designers can use confidently across campaigns, social and sales materials.
- Stay current on crypto, DeFi and fintech design trends.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years of brand design experience, including at least 1 year in crypto, DeFi or emerging tech.
- A portfolio of shipped brand work across web, social and sales materials.
- A track record of shaping and extending a visual identity, not just working within one.
- Strong typography and layout skills.
- Expert-level Figma skills, including building reusable templates and components.
- Fluency with AI design tools, and experience using them to raise both the speed and quality of your work.
- Experience partnering closely with marketing and sales teams, translating business goals into design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
- A bias for action: you get things done without waiting to be asked and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
- Alignment with our core values https://0x.org/post/the-0x-mission-and-values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact.
- Ability to attend annual in-person team offsites around the globe.
Nice to have
- Experience building pages in Webflow, plus basic HTML/CSS.
- Experience taking a website redesign from concept to launch.
- Illustration and basic motion design skills.
- Experience designing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
BENEFITS
- The base salary range for this position is USD $120,000 - $180,000 + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
- Comprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability) for U.S.-based employees — 100% of base plan covered for you and dependents
- 401k and FSA for U.S.-based employees
- Monthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and pre-tax transportation expense

- Stipend for your ideal remote / WFH set-up: headphones, and any other work gear you may need
- 12-week paid parental leave
- Great office conveniently located in the SF Financial District for those in the region!

Location: US: San Mateo (1875 South Grant Street); CAN: Toronto (111 Richmond Street West); CAN: Vancouver (333 Seymour St); US: Washington Remote Worker
Workplace: Hybrid
Team: Accounting Core
Location / work arrangement: San Francisco, San Mateo and Seattle (Hybrid)
Employment type: Full Time
About the Role
Xero’s ledger is the source of truth for millions of businesses, and every product we ship is built on top of it. We are rebuilding this integrity layer for the next 20 years, and we are standing up the Vancouver engineering hub around it from day one. As Lead Engineer, you will make the architectural decisions that set the course for the platform and the team, and you will see those decisions reach every customer who depends on Xero to get their numbers right.
THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
- Correctness at scale. Accounting data has to be consistent, auditable, and immutable. There is no “close enough,” and every change to the ledger has to preserve that guarantee across regions and regulations.
- Evolving a mature system. We are adding real-time expectations to a platform that millions of businesses depend on daily. That means strengthening service boundaries and clarifying data contracts without compromising reliability.
- Durable, high-throughput services. We use durable execution (for example, Temporal) to keep long-running financial workflows accurate and recoverable under load.
- AI-ready data. We are structuring accounting data so it can power AI-native experiences while maintaining trust in the numbers.
IMPACT
- First six months: You understand the ledger and its consumers, align the team on service boundaries and data contracts, and ship a first modernization increment with no loss of data integrity.
- First twelve months:
- You have set the architecture for the core accounting capabilities (general ledger, journals, chart of accounts, multi-currency).
- The Vancouver engineering team has clear ownership and quality standards, thanks in part to your leadership and role modeling.
- Your work reaches customers through every product built on the ledger, and the decisions made now will shape Xero for years.
OWNERSHIP
You will own the technical direction for your area of the accounting platform, from design through production and on-call. You will make architectural decisions on service boundaries, data contracts, and technology choices without needing sign-off, and you will be accountable for reliability and data integrity end to end. You will also help set hiring, quality, and ownership practices for an early and growing team, which will compound over time.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Bernardo Farah is the Director of Engineering for Accounting Core. He has over 10 years of SaaS software experience, including six years building platforms and growing teams at Samsara.
WHAT YOU BRING
MUST-HAVE:
- You set the standard for your team in AI-assisted development, operational excellence, and flexible architecture.
- A track record delivering highly available, distributed backend systems and designing high-throughput services under production constraints.
- Depth in system architecture, API design, and both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in a modern backend stack such as C#, Java, Go, or C++, plus cloud-native platforms like AWS.
- You demonstrate strong ability in breaking down complex problems into clear, actionable solutions while driving agile execution to deliver results.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with financial, ledger, or accounting systems, or other domains where data integrity is critical
- Experience with durable execution or workflow engines such as Temporal
- Experience modernizing a mature system without disrupting customers
HOW WE WORK
Process is a tool for impact and we adjust accordingly. We use an agile approach to ship outcomes, not to follow ceremony. Code and design reviews are where we trade ideas and hold the quality bar, and we are figuring out how to use LLMs to reduce how much code humans have to write and review by hand. Our on-call rotation draws on a healthy pool of engineers and turns incidents into learning through postmortems. Decisions are made at every level, and we make sure everyone has the strategic context to raise proposals and drive innovation.
Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1: Real World coding assessment, 45 Mins
- Stage 2: Systems Design assessment, 45 Mins
- Stage 3: Technical Deep dive, 60 Mins
- Stage 4: Values/ Future Proof, 60 Mins
- Stage 5: Leadership interview, 60 mins
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team. We are also tech stack agnostic, so please apply if you've worked with adjacent technologies.
Compensation Philosophy
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheck. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The base salary range for this role in $206,000 to $260,000 USD
Please note that this range represents base salary only. We believe in rewarding our people for their total contribution, which is why we look at compensation through a holistic lens. In addition to base pay, your total package may include:
- Variable Pay: Eligibility commissions or equity based on role and performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: World-class health, wellness, and retirement programs.
- Xero Perks: Inside Xero https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ Explore our full suite of benefits, from wellbeing initiatives to professional development.
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

Governance: Run the EBS governance forums, including schedules, agendas, action logs, decision registers and communications. Work with project managers and sponsors so that business cases, benefits plans and investment proposals are robust and aligned to strategy.
Reporting: Build and maintain portfolio, demand, capacity and performance dashboards that support decision-making. Prepare clear, high-quality papers and packs for the Technology Committee, Architecture Review Board, Change Advisory Board, Data Governance Council, Design Authorities and the EBS Leadership Team.
Continuous improvement: Improve PMO processes, governance frameworks, reporting and portfolio practices to raise delivery performance and the experience of the stakeholders who use them.
Requirements
About you:
You are an experienced PMO and portfolio management professional who has run governance and managed technology portfolios in complex, multi-entity or global organizations. You can bring order to competing priorities and are comfortable challenging diverse stakeholders constructively. Your reporting turns data into decisions. You are structured and disciplined, and you can adapt when priorities change.
Requirements
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Typically 7+ years in PMO, portfolio or project management roles, including 3+ years leading or managing a PMO within an IT function
Hands-on experience running demand intake, triage and prioritization across both BAU and project work
Experience managing change requests and defects for ERP or other business-critical systems, including working with third-party support partners
Experience in resource and capacity planning across multiple teams
A track record of producing reporting and papers for executive and steering committees
Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills
A recognized project or portfolio management certification (e.g. PMP, MSP or P3O)
Nice to have:
ITIL 4 Foundation
Agile or hybrid delivery experience (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)

Location: London, England
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and evolve our new Common case-management system, which powers support-case handling across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
You will own significant end-to-end initiatives across our backend services: case lifecycle, routing and assignment, queue management, case evidence and history, and migration from legacy systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn ambiguous customer and operational problems into durable technical solutions, coordinate other engineers, and set the standard for reliability and craftsmanship on the team.
What you’ll do
Lead one or more project-level Case Management initiatives, on your own or by guiding a group of engineers, from discovery and design through rollout, measurement, and operational ownership.
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for case creation, routing, assignment, transfers, audit history, notes, attachments, and queue-management workflows.
Help deliver feature parity with legacy platforms while safely migrating traffic across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
Make and own most technical decisions within your scope. Write project-level design documents covering how sub-features interact, identify dependencies and risks, and break work into parallelizable delivery plans.
Scope ambiguous customer and operational problems, weigh long-term against short-term trade-offs, and design durable solutions.
Partner with Product, Operations, Support, Data, and other engineering teams to define the right problems. Shape the team roadmap through prototypes, data analysis, project proposals, and backlog prioritization.
Run the coordination a project needs, such as status updates and dependency tracking, and escalate early to keep delivery on time.
Enforce team-wide quality objectives: lead design reviews, calibrate quality metrics, and improve logging, monitoring, alerting, and escalation policies.
Serve as first responder or incident commander, model good incident practice, and turn what you learn into playbooks and backlog work.
Introduce and guide AI best practices for the team, including evals, data privacy, and review of AI-generated code, and take part in AI-powered projects when they are central to the product.
Design reusable, self-serviceable solutions, and consider cost efficiency, including compute and AI costs, in key designs.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, tech talks, and constructive feedback. Interview candidates, join sell calls, and take part in hiring events when the team needs them.
Must-have qualifications
Strong backend engineering experience, including designing and operating backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data models at meaningful scale.
Proficiency in at least one modern backend language, and a record of writing exemplary code for the core functionality of key components.
Demonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing or operations-critical projects from technical design through production rollout.
Experience breaking projects into parallelizable work, identifying dependencies and risks, and giving accurate estimates for yourself and others.
Hands-on experience using AI development tools to improve productivity, while validating generated output for correctness, security, privacy, maintainability, and reliability.
Strong product judgment: the ability to turn ambiguous workflows and user needs into simple, maintainable technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions, bring the right stakeholders into decisions at the right time, and explain trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong engineering craft: testing, code review, observability, incident response, security, and operational readiness, with experience designing for reliability.
Comfort working on systems with high correctness and auditability requirements, including traceability of decisions and changes.
A mentoring mindset and a record of raising team-wide engineering standards.
Nice-to-have qualifications
Go experience.
Experience with migration from legacy systems, gradual rollouts, traffic shadowing, and feature-parity programs.
Experience supporting internal tools or operational user interfaces from the backend side.
Experience with high-volume, multi-region, or multi-tenant systems.
Experience as an incident commander or in running an on-call rotation.
Experience building AI-powered features, including evaluation of model output.
What success looks like
Delivers a major Case Management initiative with clear technical ownership, predictable execution, and measurable customer or business impact.
Improves the reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency of the Common system while enabling safe migration from legacy case-management systems.
Helps move support traffic onto the Common system without reducing case-resolution quality.
Builds solutions that other engineers and operators can confidently reuse and operate.
Acts as a technical leader within the team: unblocks peers and partner teams, improves engineering decisions, influences the roadmap, and strengthens cross-functional execution.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.

LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Senior Health Systems Advisor will provide strategic and technical assistance to the Department of Health (DOH) in the development and implementation of the One Hospital Command as a regional patient navigation and referral system connecting primary care with appropriate diagnostic, hospital, and specialty services across public and private providers.
The Advisor will support DOH in developing a common operating model that can respond to regional differences in health facilities, geography, workforce, financing, and service capacity. The position will support both urgent and planned referrals and strengthen coordination across levels of care to help ensure that patients are appropriately accepted, referred, provided needed services, and linked back to the originating provider for continued care.
The Advisor will also support the application of strengthened referral and patient navigation systems to priority public health needs, including tuberculosis (TB), particularly where improved linkages between primary care, diagnostic services, treatment facilities, hospitals, and specialty services can strengthen continuity of care.
The Advisor will provide technical expertise to design the regional care and referral model, establish necessary operating processes and agreements, assess financing pathways, develop options for a professionally managed command center, identify opportunities to activate priority facility capacity, and support pilot implementation.
The Advisor will work closely with the designated DOH Hospital Cluster lead, Centers for Health Development (CHDs), DOH hospitals, Local Government Units (LGUs), PhilHealth, participating private providers, and other relevant stakeholders. The position will provide technical advice and implementation support. Final decisions on policy, financing, staffing, procurement, contracting, and facility operations shall remain with the appropriate authorized government and institutional officials.
The Advisor will support the DOH in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) service delivery in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives.
Responsibilities
The Senior Health Systems Advisor will support the conceptualization, operationalization, and pilot implementation of One Hospital Command as a regional referral and patient navigation system.
Key responsibilities include:
Assess existing referral pathways, patient navigation arrangements, service capacity, demand, and gaps across proposed pilot regions.
Develop a regional care and referral model defining roles, referral pathways, acceptance and escalation processes, feedback mechanisms, transfer arrangements, and back-referral processes across public and private providers.
Support the development of regional network maps, service directories, referral criteria, standard operating procedures, and agreements with participating providers.
Support the application of strengthened referral and patient navigation systems to priority health programs, including TB, to improve linkages across appropriate levels of care.
Assess financing pathways and barriers affecting completion of referrals, including applicable PhilHealth benefits, LGU and other lawful financing arrangements, and costs associated with transport, diagnostics, medicines, and professional services.
Develop and assess options for the One Hospital Command operating model, including in-house, outsourced, and hybrid arrangements for appropriate command center and coordination functions.
Identify opportunities to activate priority facility and service capacity through targeted investments, shared services, private provider participation, management or service contracts, or public-private partnership options.
Support selection, preparation, implementation, and monitoring of pilot regions and patient referral pathways.
Develop recommendations and a phased approach for expansion of the model based on pilot implementation, lessons learned, costs, readiness requirements, and financing and staffing implications.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional Care and Referral Model
Map existing referral pathways, demand, service gaps, patient travel patterns, provider capabilities, and patient navigation arrangements in proposed pilot regions.
Differentiate appropriate pathways for cases suitable for primary care, direct specialty consultation, diagnostic referral, hospital admission, emergency transfer, and return to primary care.
Define the roles of referring providers, receiving facilities, regional command centers, CHDs, DOH hospitals, LGU health systems, PhilHealth, and the national coordination function.
Establish proposed acceptance, escalation, feedback, transfer, and back-referral rules, including pathways across public and private facilities and regional boundaries, where needed.
Develop regional network maps, service directories, referral criteria, standard operating procedures, and proposed agreements with participating providers, using existing networks and platforms where feasible.
Ensure that the design of regional referral pathways considers priority public health programs, including TB, where relevant to diagnostic, treatment, hospital, and specialty care referrals.
Network Financing
Map applicable PhilHealth benefits, provider contracting and payment arrangements, approved Special Health Fund uses where available, and other lawful financing sources for priority patient pathways.
Identify financing gaps that could prevent referrals from being accepted or completed, including costs related to transport, diagnostics, medicines, and professional services.
Develop practical financing and agreement options with PhilHealth, LGUs, health boards, and participating facilities.
Clarify proposed payment responsibilities, contracting or disbursement arrangements, required approvals, and approaches for tracking cases and payments, subject to applicable laws, regulations, and approval of the responsible authorities.
Command Center Operating Model
Define the proposed operating model for a regional patient navigation and referral center, including hours of operation, clinical triage and escalation, nonclinical call handling, case ownership, quality assurance, workforce requirements, supervision, training, data protection, and continuity arrangements.
Define interfaces between the command center, health facilities, patient navigation mechanisms, and emergency response systems.
Compare in-house, outsourced, and hybrid models for appropriate call center and coordination functions.
Develop recommendations including cost estimates, performance standards, clinical governance safeguards, data and system requirements, and draft specifications or terms for proposed service arrangements.
Define a minimum information set and reporting process covering bed availability, operating service capacity, specialists and other personnel, equipment, diagnostics, critical supplies, and service interruptions.
Link current capacity gaps with approved facility development plans and milestones to support appropriate assignment and monitoring of actions.
Priority Facility Capacity
Identify facilities and services that could be made functional through targeted investments, shared services, private provider participation, management or service contracts, or public-private partnership options.
Assess demand, readiness, staffing, operating costs, financing requirements, procurement routes, and time to service for identified priority opportunities.
Develop a shortlist of potential investable or contractable opportunities and prepare decision briefs for DOH and relevant LGUs.
Distinguish immediate operational improvements from projects requiring formal feasibility studies, procurement processes, or PPP approval.
Coordinate with relevant technical, finance, legal, and procurement offices in developing recommendations.
Pilot Implementation, Monitoring, and Scale-up

Support participating offices in establishing agreed workflows, preparing staff, developing baseline information, and launching pilot implementation.
Facilitate regular case reviews and support rapid identification and correction of failed referral handoffs.

Track both operating performance and progress of actions intended to activate missing facility and service capacity.
Document implementation lessons, costs, decisions required, and minimum readiness conditions for expansion.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE ROLE
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer I to join Finance Technology with a focus on Workday Adaptive Planning. Adaptive Planning supports finance, workforce, sales, and operational planning, giving teams a shared platform for budgeting, forecasting, modelling, reporting, and decision-making.
This is an early-career engineering role for someone who wants to build depth in finance systems, application configuration, data integration, and operational support. You will work with Finance, Finance Technology, Data, and wider Corporate Technology teams to keep planning processes reliable, well-controlled, and easy to operate.
You will have support from more senior engineers for complex design decisions, but you will be expected to work independently for longer periods on well-defined configuration, integration, support, and continuous-improvement tasks. This reflects Checkout’s Engineer 1 expectations: delivering small-to-medium-sized work, supporting common operational flows, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of the quality of what you deliver.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Adaptive Planning models, dimensions, versions, levels, accounts, sheets, reports, dashboards, and planning workflows under appropriate guidance.
- Support the delivery of budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, scenario modelling, and management reporting capabilities for Finance and business stakeholders.
- Build and support data loads and integrations between Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials, Workday HCM, and other approved internal or third-party systems.
- Maintain data mappings, transformation rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes so that planning data is complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Monitor scheduled loads and integration tasks, investigate failures, and resolve common data or configuration issues within agreed service levels.
- Triage incidents and service requests, identifying root causes and escalating complex or high-risk issues with clear evidence and recommended next steps.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into maintainable system configuration, reporting, or integration changes.
- Contribute to the assessment and delivery of future analytics data flows, including the potential use of Adaptive Planning data in BigQuery and management analytics.
- Participate in testing, regression testing, release preparation, and controlled deployment of Adaptive Planning changes.
- Follow change-control, access-management, data-quality, and audit requirements relevant to financial systems and planning data.
- Create clear documentation, support guides, data dictionaries, integration runbooks, and knowledge-base articles so that operational knowledge is shared rather than held by one person.
- Identify recurring manual work or failure patterns and propose practical automation and process improvements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience in a finance systems, enterprise applications, data, reporting, or integration environment.
- Practical experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, or strong experience with a comparable planning, performance-management, ERP, or finance application and a clear ability to learn Adaptive quickly.
- Understanding of core finance planning concepts such as budgets, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, allocations, dimensions, hierarchies, and scenarios.
- Experience configuring or supporting structured data models, application workflows, reports, dashboards, or business rules.
- Ability to work with data imports, exports, mappings, transformations, validations, and reconciliations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to break down an issue, gather evidence, identify likely causes, and communicate findings clearly.
- Good attention to detail and an understanding of why accuracy, access control, auditability, and repeatability matter in finance systems.
- Ability to manage small-to-medium-sized tasks independently while knowing when to ask for help or escalate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance and Technology stakeholders.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Workday Adaptive Planning certification or implementation experience.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning Integration, Planning Data Loader, APIs, or equivalent enterprise planning integration tooling.
- Experience integrating planning systems with Workday Financials, Workday HCM, an ERP, a data warehouse, or a reporting platform.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, financial audit requirements, data privacy, and segregation of duties.
- Experience supporting month-end, budget, forecast, or management-reporting cycles.
- Exposure to Agile delivery, ticket-driven change management, incident management, or service-management practices.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
After the first 6–12 months, you will be able to:
- Support common Adaptive Planning configuration, data-load, and reporting requests with limited supervision.
- Diagnose and resolve routine integration or data-quality issues using a structured troubleshooting approach.
- Deliver small-to-medium-sized enhancements from requirement clarification through testing, documentation, and controlled release.
- Explain key planning data flows, mappings, dependencies, and operational controls to Finance and Technology colleagues.
- Improve the reliability or efficiency of at least one recurring planning or finance-technology process.
- Maintain accurate, useful documentation and contribute positively to team ceremonies, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
WORKING STYLE AND BEHAVIOURS
We are looking for someone who:
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows through on commitments.
- Acts with urgency and accountability when issues affect Finance or business reporting.
- Is curious about how finance processes, data, and technology fit together.
- Communicates clearly, especially when explaining risk, blockers, trade-offs, or support impact.
- Welcomes feedback and actively develops their technical and domain knowledge.
- Collaborates generously and shares knowledge so the team does not depend on a single subject-matter expert.
- Looks for durable automation and simpler operating processes rather than repeatedly working around the same manual problem.
WHY JOIN FINANCE TECHNOLOGY?
You will work on systems that sit at the centre of how Checkout.com http://Checkout.com plans, forecasts, reports, and makes financial decisions. The role offers the opportunity to develop a broad foundation across enterprise applications, finance processes, integrations, data quality, controls, and automation while working closely with experienced Finance and Technology professionals.
