We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
About Grafana Labs:
There are more than 700,000 active installations of Grafana around the globe, monitoring everything from beehives to climate change in the Alps. The instantly recognizable dashboards have been spotted everywhere from a SpaceX launch and Minecraft HQ to Wimbledon and the Tour de France. Grafana Labs also helps companies including Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay manage their observability strategies with full-stack offerings that can be run fully managed with Grafana Cloud, or self-managed with Grafana Enterprise Stack. The Grafana stack has grown to include more open-source projects, including Grafana Loki (for logs) and Grafana Tempo (for traces) and Grafana Mimir (for metrics).
Description of Duties
We’re looking for a Staff Technical Writer to create documentation and learning content that helps people adopt and master Grafana’s observability products. You’ll work with engineers, product managers, and the Grafana writing team to produce content for a range of products and audiences, from first-time users to experienced practitioners. Because our products and priorities evolve, we’re looking for someone who learns new technical domains quickly.
AI is part of how this team works. We use AI-assisted workflows and tools throughout the content lifecycle, from research and drafting to review, validation, and maintenance. You’ll use these tools every day and help the team get better at using them.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, research, write, and maintain documentation and learning content (concepts, tasks, tutorials, references, and in-product learning) that supports adoption and long-term product mastery.
Use AI tools and workflows to work faster and at a higher quality: drafting, structuring, technical validation, consistency checks, and keeping content current. You apply human judgment to everything AI produces and take responsibility for its accuracy.
Contribute to the team’s shared AI workflows and skills, and look for ways to improve and automate how we create and maintain content as tools and models evolve.
Partner with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, interview subject matter experts, and turn complex technical detail into clear, accurate content.
Test what you document. Run the software, follow your own procedures, and flag product and UX gaps you find along the way.
Let data guide your priorities. We have strong docs and learning analytics. You’ll use them, along with user feedback, to find content gaps, prioritize your work, and show the impact of what you ship.
Work with the documentation manager and other writers to improve information architecture, voice, and consistency across our docs, and to make information easy to find for both people and AI-driven search and assistants.
Manage several projects at once, using judgment to prioritize and communicate clearly when the plan changes.
Mentor teammates and share practices that raise the quality of the team’s work.
Requirements
What experience would make someone be successful in this role?
Experience writing or documenting enterprise or developer-facing software, with a portfolio or writing samples that show technical depth.
Hands-on experience using AI tools and models in your writing workflow (such as LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, or custom prompts and skills), and the ability to explain how you evaluate and verify their output.
Experience working with docs-as-code: command-line Git, GitHub (pull requests and reviews), Markdown, and common IDEs.
Comfort working in technical environments. You can set up, run, and troubleshoot software yourself to verify what you write (for example, command line, containers, or Kubernetes, or a willingness to learn quickly).
Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers to get accurate technical information.
Experience working remotely and asynchronously on a distributed team.
What you’ll bring to the role
Curiosity about AI as a craft. You treat AI workflows as a professional skill. You experiment, share what works, and know where AI helps and where it doesn’t.
Technical credibility. You care about accuracy, you learn new technical domains quickly, and you ask questions until you understand them.
Strong judgment and editing skills. You can tell good content from plausible-sounding content, and you hold the line on quality.
Ownership. You manage multiple projects and work well both independently and collaboratively.
Clarity. You write concisely and plainly for readers of all experience levels.
Bonus: Experience with observability, monitoring, or cloud-native tooling, or contributing to open source documentation.

OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Developer Platform https://www.notion.com/product/dev engineer, you will directly contribute to the foundational pieces that make Notion extensible and connected. You will build tools, APIs, and platform experiences that help customers connect Notion to the world — bringing their apps, data, and workflows into one workspace. You’ll play a key role in identifying and executing against technical investments that ensure the long-term quality, reliability, and performance of Notion’s platform as we scale.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- You’ll work with a team of engineers and cross-functional partners across product, design, data science, and user research to define a product strategy and drive execution through conception, research, implementation, and maintenance.
- You’ll evolve Developer Platform capabilities across APIs, MCP tools, and integration infrastructure that help customers automate workflows, customize Notion, and connect Notion to the tools and data they use every day.
- You’ll contribute to the overall performance, reliability, and robustness of the Notion product, ensuring it scales elegantly across many dimensions.
- You’ll partner with engineering leaders to identify and execute against high-leverage technical investments that ensure the long-term flexibility and sustainability of our core systems.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 7+ years of experience shipping production software, with a strong track record of owning features end-to-end
- Fluency with TypeScript across both backend and frontend
- Strong product instincts: you can take a vague problem, propose a solid technical approach, and know when to cut scope
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building developer tools like APIs and SDKs
- Experience driving teams toward shared goals and balancing business priorities with individuals’ strengths, areas of interest, and career development goals
- Familiarity with AI/agent tooling, evals, or LLM-driven product experiences
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $179,000 – $200,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is hiring a Lead Recruiter to own Director-level and above hiring across our G&A and business functions. You will lead some of the company’s most critical leadership searches, partnering directly with senior stakeholders to identify and hire leaders who will shape Ramp’s next stage of growth.
You will own searches from initial scoping through close, partnering directly with executives and senior leaders across the business. You will be expected to develop real fluency in each area you support, translate ambiguous business needs into clear hiring strategies, and bring an independent point of view on talent.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally strong at research, assessment, stakeholder partnership, and closing. You should be comfortable challenging assumptions, navigating sensitive and confidential searches, and creating structure without slowing the business down. You should be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, builds pipelines from scratch, and takes ownership of moving searches forward even when the role, target profile, or process is still taking shape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Director-level and above roles across G&A and business functions, from intake and market mapping through offer and close.
- Develop real fluency in the functions you support and quickly build context when taking on a new area, so you can identify the signals that distinguish exceptional leaders beyond title, company, and tenure.
- Build proactive pipelines through market research, targeted sourcing, referrals, and thoughtful engagement with passive candidates. Independently build momentum on confidential searches where broad outreach or an existing pipeline may not be available.
- Develop assessment approaches that surface a candidate’s leadership effectiveness, functional expertise, and ability to operate at Ramp’s pace and scale.
- Move fluidly across functions, evolving role definitions, and competing priorities while maintaining a consistently high bar for talent, execution, and candidate experience.
- Exercise discretion throughout sensitive searches, managing candidate information and stakeholder communication with sound judgment.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- A track record of independently leading complex senior-level searches from initial scoping through accepted offer.
- Ability to advise senior leaders, challenge requirements, and influence hiring decisions through clear communication, market insight, and data.
- Demonstrated ability to build fluency in unfamiliar functions, context-switch across very different searches, and maintain strong judgment as priorities and scope change.
- A high level of ownership and comfort with ambiguity. You can turn an open-ended business need into an actionable search, build a pipeline from scratch, and drive progress without waiting for direction.
- Strong closing skills, including experience navigating competing offers, senior candidates, and sensitive searches.
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Prior experience in executive search or a dedicated leadership recruiting role, particularly across G&A or business functions.
- Experience partnering directly with CEOs or other C-suite leaders on critical hires.
- Experience improving interview architecture, scorecards, market maps, or recruiting processes where structure was limited or still being built.
- Experience developing AI-enabled recruiting workflows that were adopted beyond your own individual searches.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2+ years managing software engineers directly, with responsibility for hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- 5+ years of prior experience as a software engineer building and operating production applications, with hands-on technical work in the last 3–4 years.
- A solid technical foundation, enough to lead architecture discussions and review code with credibility.
- A bias for experimentation: you make sound calls quickly, learn from data, and change course when the evidence says so.
- A people-first approach: you lead with empathy, listen first, and build the trust and psychological safety that help each person do their best work.
- Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to product, business, and customer stakeholders.

We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. We build and operate systems that support Grafana’s business operations and customer experience, working closely with product teams and internal business partners.
The Usage squad works on billing, rates, usage calculations, usage visibility and cloud marketplace integrations. Our software helps customers understand their consumption and costs, and helps internal teams operate accurate, reliable billing processes.
We are looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer with strong backend experience who enjoys making complex business systems reliable, understandable and easier to operate. You will help deliver new capabilities while improving existing services, reducing repetitive manual work and addressing edge cases that affect customers and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on Staff engineering role within the AppCore Usage squad. You will lead complex technical work, contribute directly to implementation and share ownership with the squad’s other Staff and Senior engineers. Your primary focus will be Usage’s systems and outcomes, collaborating with adjacent teams when the work requires it.
Our ownership includes application code, data stores, deployment configuration and the cloud infrastructure supporting our services. You should be comfortable following a problem across those boundaries and making improvements with the appropriate platform teams.
We are remote-first and global. For this role, we prefer candidates in NASA’s Eastern Time zone to provide more overlap with our EMEA colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your initial focus will be approximately 75% backend and 25% frontend. This balance will evolve with the squad’s priorities. You should be comfortable delivering across the stack, from business logic and APIs through to the interfaces customers and internal teams use.
Design, build and operate backend services and APIs supporting billing, rates, usage calculations, usage visibility and marketplace workflows.
Build and maintain backend services primarily in Go, with Node.js also present in our stack, and contribute to TypeScript/React applications to deliver complete features.
Improve the correctness and reliability of billing and usage workflows, including validation, reconciliation, error handling and recovery.
Identify recurring manual tasks and replace them with maintainable automation, clear operational workflows and appropriate controls.
Maintain and evolve the infrastructure supporting our services, including Kubernetes workloads, scheduled jobs, cloud resources and deployment configuration.
Use infrastructure as code and automated delivery pipelines to make changes repeatable, reviewable and safe across environments.
Investigate production issues across application code, databases and infrastructure, including resource exhaustion, failed jobs, slow queries and replication delays.
Plan and execute service deployments, database changes and infrastructure migrations, including validation, monitoring and recovery plans.
Build and maintain integrations with cloud marketplaces and external business systems where required by the squad’s work.
Deliver projects from understanding requirements and proposing an approach through implementation, testing, rollout and production support.
Make changes traceable and testable, supporting audit requirements and clear explanations of system behaviour.
Collaborate with product management, Support, DealOps, GTM, infrastructure teams and adjacent AppCore squads to clarify requirements and resolve dependencies.
Share technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews, mentoring and practical improvements.
Participate in the squad’s on-call rotation after onboarding. Improve dashboards, alert quality, runbooks and recovery procedures, and follow through on incident findings.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You enjoy engineering work where correctness, reliability and business impact matter. You find value in improving an established system, removing a recurring operational problem or making a billing workflow easier to understand and support.
You take ownership from understanding the problem through delivery and production support. You can turn an ambiguous request into manageable increments, make sound trade-offs and follow through without needing each step prescribed. You ask useful questions, seek feedback and raise uncertainty or blockers early.
You adapt as priorities change, learn unfamiliar systems and technologies, and contribute where the squad needs you. You bring a strong backend specialty while remaining willing and able to work on frontend features and supporting infrastructure.
You reason about how a service behaves in production: how it is deployed, where its data lives, what happens when dependencies fail, and how the team detects and recovers from problems.
You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation. In a distributed team, you make decisions, progress and risks visible so colleagues can contribute across time zones. You work independently while staying connected to the squad.
As a Staff engineer, you bring technical depth and sound judgment while remaining close to implementation. You collaborate constructively with other experienced engineers, welcome different perspectives and help the squad reach decisions and move forward.
We embrace thoughtful use of AI-assisted development. We value engineers who use these tools to support exploration, implementation, testing and documentation while taking responsibility for the quality and correctness of the result.
Requirements
Substantial experience designing, delivering and operating production backend systems, with the depth and judgment to lead complex work hands-on.
Strong experience building and operating production backend systems in Go, our primary backend language.
Professional experience contributing to frontend applications using TypeScript and React, or comparable technologies, and willingness to work across the stack as priorities change.
Experience reasoning about distributed systems, including partial failures, retries, consistency and interactions between services.
Experience with relational databases, including data modelling, schema migrations, query performance and safe production changes.
Practical experience deploying and troubleshooting containerised services and jobs in Kubernetes.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure through code and working with CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration and controlled rollouts.
Ability to investigate production problems using logs, metrics and traces, and turn findings into lasting improvements.
A record of delivering projects end to end, clarifying requirements, making trade-offs and following through after release.
Experience working remotely, with clear asynchronous communication and dependable collaboration across time zones.
Ability to learn unfamiliar domains and technologies, adjust your approach as new information emerges, and take ownership beyond your main area of expertise.
Experience writing readable, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, maintain and operate.
Willingness to participate in on-call and take responsibility for the production behaviour of the systems you build.
Experience supporting colleagues through code reviews, mentoring and constructive technical discussions.
Bonus Points For
Usage metering, billing engines, pricing and rates, financial reconciliation or customer-facing cost management applications.
Reducing operational toil and automating workflows with recurring exceptions or manual interventions.
Systems with auditability, traceability or financial-control requirements.
MySQL operations, replication, database upgrades and performance tuning.
Terraform, Jsonnet and Kubernetes deployment configuration.
Argo Workflows or comparable deployment and job-orchestration tooling.
Cloud infrastructure involving managed databases, object storage, service accounts and access controls, particularly on GCP.
Data synchronisation pipelines and BigQuery integrations.
Cloud marketplace integrations across AWS, Azure or GCP.
Integrations with business platforms such as NetSuite or Salesforce.
Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki or OpenTelemetry.
In Canada, the compensation range for this role is $186,368 - $223,642 CAD. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.

• A track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact through paid B2B programs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make thoughtful decisions using incomplete or imperfect data.
• Experience partnering with campaign, analytics, marketing operations, or other cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Experience marketing complex technical products to audiences such as developers, information technology (IT) professionals, or other technical decision-makers. Experience in cybersecurity or familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools and automated workflows is also a plus.
What you can expect:
• Own the B2B performance marketing and demand generation strategy for a sales-led growth motion, aligning paid programs with pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Develop annual and quarterly roadmaps informed by business goals, audience insights, performance trends, and experimentation results.
• Manage paid channels and platforms end to end, from strategy and execution through optimization, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI), marginal returns, and channel performance to guide budget shifts, scaling decisions, and investment strategy.
• Monitor leading indicators such as leads, MQLs, conversion rates, and Cost per Lead (CPL), as well as downstream pipeline, opportunity volume, and revenue influence.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments across audiences, channels, creative, offers, and funnel stages, translating results into scaled programs and clear recommendations.
• Partner with Global Campaigns, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and external vendors to improve lead quality, strengthen campaign performance, and share actionable insights.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented.
Notion is shaping the future of Go-To-Market, and as a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll bring that future to life by building alongside customers and turning their biggest challenges into measurable outcomes. As a customer-facing, quota-carrying SC, you’ll bring together technical fluency and commercial ownership to grow your book of business. You’ll build pipeline with BDRs, engage key stakeholders, lead discovery, co-build workflow solutions live with customers, and guide opportunities through close. You’ll connect each solution to a clear business case and stay engaged through adoption, expansion, and renewal so customers realize the value of what they buy.
You’ll partner with BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists while maintaining clear ownership of customer relationships, opportunity momentum, and next steps. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Create pipeline across your book of business. Build target-account plans with BDRs and initiate outreach to priority stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline.
- Own opportunities from first conversation through close. Lead discovery, qualify business needs and urgency, align stakeholders, shape the solution and business case, and drive the evaluation and commercial decision. Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path.
- Design and validate workflow solutions that deliver measurable value. Map current- and future-state workflows, co-build solutions live in Notion, and define realistic scope, success criteria, and an implementation path. Translate customer needs and validated outcomes into a clear business case, commercial recommendation, and decision path. Treat discovery as an opportunity to build and validate.
- Orchestrate the right partners while maintaining ownership. Engage BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists at the right moments, with clear context and asks, while owning opportunity momentum, customer communication, and next steps.
- Drive customer value and commercial growth after signature. Partner with Outcomes Architects, guide the initial path to value with a clear adoption plan, on onboarding and ongoing multi-workflow adoption, and own expansion strategy and renewal planning. Stay accountable for translating credits sold into credits consumed, and surface risks or expansion opportunities as customer workflows mature.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Commercial ownership and pipeline generation. You can demonstrate how you created or advanced business, influenced customer decisions, and owned measurable outcomes. Relevant experience may come from quota-carrying sales or adjacent customer-facing roles.
- Technical fluency and builder mindset. You are comfortable building live in software and can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot with a customer without needing a specialist in the room.
- AI fluency. You are excited about AI, build with new tools, and continually learn new ways of working.
- Discovery, qualification, and value articulation. You can uncover customer needs, map workflows, qualify business impact and urgency, and translate what you learn into commercial outcomes, adoption plans, and clear success criteria.
- Agency, urgency, and learning velocity. You set clear goals, take initiative, learn from customer interactions, and apply those learnings to improve outcomes. You bring new ideas and workflows to customers and make complex problems easier to solve.
- Complex customer engagement. You can lead multi-stakeholder interactions and navigate procurement, legal, and security review cycles.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
- Prior experience selling to commercial accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or Customer Success team as part of an integrated customer motion.
- Fluency in Dutch
We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you're excited about a role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you're a builder at heart, share our company values, and are enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.

Xsolla ZK
is Web3 wallet infrastructure: smart wallets and account abstraction on a zkSync-based L2.
Both products sit on users' most sensitive flows, logging in and signing transactions, and other Xsolla teams build on top of them.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The backend services of your product area end to end: design, implementation, release and production operation, including on-call
Architecture across services: service boundaries, integration contracts and data ownership. You make these decisions and justify them in writing
Reliability and security of critical flows: SLOs, failure handling, protection of user data and credentials
Service performance and cost under load
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and build services and APIs (REST, gRPC) for authentication, account management and wallet operations
Define service boundaries and integration contracts with other Xsolla teams
Design data models and storage; optimize schemas and queries
Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows

Take part in on-call, incident response and post-mortems
Improve the engineering environment: CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing
Review code
Set up and maintain AI tooling in the repositories (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor: rules, context, harness) so the team uses it effectively
Responsibilities
Language and platform
5+ years of commercial backend development

Security and identity
Application security: common vulnerability classes (OWASP Top 10), secrets management, safe handling of user data
OAuth 2.0 / OIDC from the server side: flows, tokens, sessions

HOW WE WORK
Decisions in writing.
Significant technical decisions are written up as an RFC or ADR that lays out the options and trade-offs. We discuss the document, not a blank whiteboard.
AI is part of everyday engineering.
We use AI coding tools for development and review, and we treat configuring them for a codebase as real engineering work.
