A well-established, growth-oriented process automation and software systems firm in the South is adding a full time Project Engineer - Electrical/Controls to its engineering team. This is a true dual-role position — part project lead, part hands-on technical contributor — built for someone who thrives when no two days look the same.
You'll own small-to-mid-sized brownfield modernization and greenfield projects from FEED through handoff, working across a range of industries in the Southwest area. Project values typically run
$250K to $1.5M
, which means real scope and accountability without the bureaucracy of mega-project environments.
If you're the kind of engineer who wants to lead projects, stay technically sharp, and see the results of your work — then consider this opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead projects from front-end design (FEED) through commissioning and handoff
Manage schedules, milestones, and project financials — you're the primary client contact during execution
Define electrical design scope and documentation standards for each engagement
Direct systems engineers and electrical designers to keep projects on track
Develop and manage construction subcontract packages with established third-party contractors
Oversee cutover planning, including live/hot cutovers
Step in to self-perform design and systems engineering work when the project calls for it
This is a high-ownership role. You'll manage these smaller projects and be the Project Engineer depending on what the project needs.
What You Bring
Technical Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a project engineering role within industrial automation or controls
DCS and/or PLC control systems
, HMIs, and PC networking experience
Working knowledge of industrial network protocols:
Modbus, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, OPC
Proficiency in
low-voltage AC (480V and below)
, DC power systems, and grounding
Competency in motor controls, MCCs, VFDs, and process instrumentation
Ability to read, interpret, and redline
P&IDs, Electrical One-Lines, and Plot Plans
AutoCAD Electrical experience is a plus
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline (EE, EET, or similar)
Who You Are:
Self-directed — you can manage competing priorities without needing constant oversight
Calm under pressure — you've worked outages, cutovers, and start-ups and know how to stay effective
A clear communicator — your project updates and documentation are accurate and on time
Flexible — you're equally effective working solo or leading a team
Comfortable traveling — regional customer visits, including overnight stays are part of the job
Why This Role
Work on a variety of projects — brownfield modernization, greenfield builds, software integration — no repetitive single-scope assignments
Join a firm with strong client relationships and a track record of successful project delivery
Operate with real autonomy in a role that values judgment over checkbox compliance
Be part of a technical engineering team that takes both quality and customer relationships seriously
This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package. Only candidates not requiring sponsorship will be considered.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Head of Brand to set the direction for how Ramp shows up in the world.
The Brand team — ~10 designers, writers, motion designers, illustrators, and producers today — defines Ramp's identity across every surface our customers see: product launches, integrated campaigns, customer marketing, web, events, social, sales materials, and the product itself. We help the rest of the company move fast and ship beautifully by building the principles, systems, and standards that let us scale.
You'll lead this team. You'll set the visual identity and the voice. You'll build the AI pipelines that turn everyone else at Ramp into a good Brand Designer. You'll report to our VP of Design and work directly with our Co-CEOs to shape the future of the company. You'll also partner closely with leaders across Marketing, Product, Growth, and Recruiting to define strategy and execute against key business priorities.
We're looking for someone who's obsessed with five things:
- Story. How we show up in the world. How we change the conversation around finance. Keeping our why and our customers at the center of everything we do.
- AI. The systems that bake AI into every production capacity, until 90% of the cross-functional brand work is self-serve.
- Operations. Predictable rails for a creative org that ships fast, cherishes feedback, and holds itself accountable — to designers and to partners.
- Craft. Lead by making. Facilitate decisions. Evolve the brand.
- People. Two jobs: build the system that develops and motivates the team we have, and partner with our people team to land the best designers in the world.
Please note that this role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 3 days/week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set the direction for Ramp's brand—its identity, voice, and narrative—across product, marketing, recruiting, and every customer touchpoint.
- Lead and grow the team. Recruit exceptional designers and help every member of the team do the best work of their career.
- Build the AI layer for Brand. Create systems and tools that automate production work at scale and empower non-designers to create on-brand assets.
- Build the operating system for Brand: briefs, intake, reviews, decision-making, and production. Make work move fast without sacrificing quality.
- Partner with the Creative Directors across Growth, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing to set strategy and uphold a high bar for execution.
- Lead by making when it matters—concept development, art direction, brand identity, and creative direction.
- Deliver 2–3 brand-defining initiatives each year that strengthen Ramp's reputation and attract world-class talent.
- Partner closely with Design, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership to ensure the Ramp brand is cohesive across every experience.
- Manage agencies, freelancers, and production partners to extend the team's capacity as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 10+ years of experience in brand design and creative leadership, including at least 3 years leading a brand team at a high-growth technology company or top-tier agency.
- A portfolio of brand work that shaped a company's reputation through identity systems, campaigns, or brand evolutions you led end-to-end.
- A clear point of view on AI in creative production. You've shipped AI-assisted brand work, not just prototypes, and know what should be automated versus where human creativity matters most.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing creative teams. You've hired exceptional designers, developed talent, and built teams that consistently deliver outstanding work.
- Strong operational instincts. You've built scalable creative processes and can describe them clearly.
- Exceptional craft across typography, color, layout, motion, and visual identity, with the ability to elevate the work of others.
- A strategic mindset and strong creative judgment. You can give clear direction, make difficult decisions, and balance speed with quality.
- Comfortable partnering with Marketing, Product, Recruiting, and executive leadership. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable giving and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedback.
- Kind, curious, generous, low ego, and a great sense of humor!

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE TEAM & ROLE
Ramp's procurement product is changing how companies buy. We've built the fastest intake-to-pay platform on the market — 3x faster than traditional P2P workflows, with AI that automates sourcing, contract extraction, approval routing, and invoice matching in one place. Customers save an average of 16% on vendor spend annually and eliminate 46+ hours of manual purchasing work every month.
As Manager of Procurement Activation, you're the person who makes that real at scale. You'll lead a team of Procurement Activation Specialists working with Mid-Market customers, typically 100 to 999 employees, $50M to $100M in revenue, from discovery and configuration through go-live. Where your ICs work directly with CFOs and controllers to redesign how individual companies buy, you're building the system that makes those implementations excellent, repeatable, and fast.
🎯 WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead & Develop the Team
- Hire, onboard, and develop Procurement Activation Specialists; own their ramp from week one to full independence
- Run structured 1:1s and coaching that moves ICs from reactive to proactive, and from execution to insight
- Build a team culture where CSMs, AMs, and AEs don't just loop you in on escalations — they come to your team first, before things get complicated
Define & Lead Strategy
- Build the Procurement Activation playbook from the ground up: define what excellent looks like at every stage — discovery, configuration, customer education, go-live — and codify it so the team can execute it consistently and independently
- Turn implementation patterns into structured product feedback Engineering and Product can act on. You're the bridge between what customers experience in the field and how the product gets better.
- Partner with Sales, AM, and CSM leadership to define how procurement deals get handed off, scoped, and resourced — and own those standards across the organization
Operationalize & Scale
- Build the implementation process to survive growth: as Ramp's procurement product ships new capabilities and the customer base expands, you're ahead of what needs to change
- Spot systemic blockers across implementations, drive resolution across functions. Product gaps, handoff failures, coverage issues.
- Represent procurement activation in GTM planning, headcount conversations, and roadmap discussions. This team has a seat at the table because you've earned it!
🧠 WHAT YOU BRING
- Procurement depth that earns the room: you understand procure-to-pay workflows, approval structures, ERP integrations, and vendor management well enough that a Controller or VP of Finance trusts your judgment on the first call.
- Real people development experience: you've managed or closely mentored ICs and can point to specific moments where someone's skills or confidence visibly changed because of how you worked with them. Formal management tenure matters less than the quality of those examples.
- Cross-functional influence without authority: you get alignment from people who don't report to you, communicate clearly at every level — AE, CSM, AM, VP — and hold your position when priorities compete
- You've built something people actually use: a playbook, a training program, an escalation framework — something you created from scratch that outlasted your direct involvement and others adopted as their own
- Writes and speaks with precision: you can walk a Controller through a procurement workflow and brief a VP on why an implementation is stalling, on the same day, in the same register of credibility
🌟 NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in a customer-facing implementation or success role at a procurement software company (Coupa, Zip, Procurify, Stampli, Ivalua, or similar) or working in Procurement at a previous company.
- Familiarity with AP automation, ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks), or invoice-to-payment workflows
- Background in CS, implementation, or solutions consulting in B2B SaaS
🏆 WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
At 6 months: You're onboarding new hires on your own, making customer escalation calls without day-to-day guidance, and you've built a real reputation as the procurement authority inside Ramp.
At 12 months: You're running independently and generating ideas that move procurement forward, not just executing what you inherited. You've influenced product direction based on patterns you spotted in the field. You have genuine relationships across CS, Sales, AM, and Product leadership — not just working ones. And the team you've built has changed how Ramp thinks about what a specialist program can do, with a clear path to doing the same in other product areas.

Customers save an average of 16% on vendor spend annually and eliminate 46+ hours of manual purchasing work every month.
As a Procurement Product Activation Manager, you're the person who makes that real for our customers. You'll work directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance operations teams to design, configure, and launch Ramp's procurement product — helping them go from broken, manual buying processes to a streamlined system that their entire company actually uses.
This is not a "follow the playbook" implementation role. You'll be redesigning how companies buy things, which requires equal parts process consulting, product expertise, and relationship management.
🎯 WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own procurement implementation for Commercial and upper Mid-Market accounts from close-won through go-live
- Partner with CFOs, finance ops, IT, and legal stakeholders to map existing procurement workflows and design their future-state on Ramp through a change management process
- When procurement and Bill Pay are both part of the deal, cover both — procurement is the priority, but you carry Bill Pay activation when it's bundled
- Provide structured product feedback to Ramp's Engineering and Product teams based on what you see across implementations — this is a core part of the role
- Partner with AEs and AMs when procurement configuration questions come up pre-close or during expansion
🧠 WHAT YOU BRING
- Real procurement depth: you've lived inside procure-to-pay — whether at a company managing purchasing or at a platform like Coupa, Zip, Procurify, Stampli, or Ivalua. PO creation, approval routing, invoice matching, and ERP sync aren't concepts you read about; they're things you've configured or managed.
- Customer-facing confidence: you run structured discovery, manage calls with multiple decision-makers, and can guide a Controller or AP Manager through a configuration decision without losing their trust
- Strong follow-through: multiple implementations running at once, nothing falls through, customers don't have to chase you
- Moves fast independently: Ramp's product ships constantly. You don't wait for someone to brief you on a new feature — you find it, figure it out, and update your approach.
- Sharp product instincts: you can tell the difference between a user error, a training gap, and a real product limitation — and you say so directly to Engineering and Product, not just "the customer asked for X."
🌟 NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a procurement software company in an implementation, solutions, or customer success role
- Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems and how they integrate with procurement tools
- Consulting background or experience at a company where structured discovery was a core skill. You know how to lead a call and leave with clear requirements
🏆 WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- You're carrying 50–60 active implementations per quarter and customers are hitting go-live on schedule
- Your CSM counterparts know what you're working on and why — handoffs are clean, nothing falls through the cracks between implementation and ongoing success
- You've built or meaningfully improved at least one internal process — a playbook, a feedback loop with Product, a configuration template — that the team uses after you

Ramp is looking for a Senior Underwriter to join our Underwriting team in Europe. You’ll evaluate businesses applying to Ramp, make credit and risk decisions, and help improve how we assess customers across our products.
This is an early regional role supporting EU and US applicants. We’re looking for someone with strong financial judgment who can work independently, make clear decisions with incomplete information, and help us build scalable underwriting processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review applications for Ramp’s corporate card and bill pay products across the EU and US.
- Analyze financial statements, bank data, bureau information, and other risk signals to assess business health and repayment ability.
- Recommend the appropriate outcome, including approval, decline, a lower limit, or a request for additional information.
- Communicate clearly with customers when additional information or context is needed.
- Manage an underwriting queue while meeting quality and SLA expectations.
- Partner with teams across Risk, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support to improve policies, tools, and workflows.
- Identify emerging risks and use AI and automation to improve decision quality and efficiency.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 4+ years of experience in underwriting, credit risk management, commercial lending, credit operations, or a related risk role.
- Experience in corporate cards, payments, fintech, banking, or related financial services.
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience reviewing financial statements, bank data, and transaction activity.
- Sound judgment and the ability to make defensible decisions with incomplete or conflicting information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience operating independently and building or improving underwriting processes in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience underwriting European businesses or working with EU-based financial services customers.
- Experience using AI or automation to improve workflows.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a high-growth startup or on a scaling operations team.
WORK SCHEDULE
This role will follow a schedule aligned with European customer needs, extending Ramp’s underwriting coverage beyond standard US business hours.

At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock and inspire performance for life. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.
WHOOP is hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape the next generation of member experiences at the intersection of human performance and emerging technologies. You will lead the end-to-end design of AI-powered experiences, translating complex data and intelligent systems into intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable products. You’ll use strong product judgment to identify where AI can meaningfully improve the member experience and where it can’t, while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Research to define how intelligent experiences behave, not just how they look.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex and ambiguous product problems end-to-end, from identifying and framing opportunities through interaction design, prototyping, validation, and launch.
- Design intuitive AI-powered experiences that thoughtfully account for uncertainty, system feedback, user control, failure and recovery, member trust, accessibility, and privacy.
- Translate complex data, AI-driven insights, and intelligent system behaviors into clear, approachable, and actionable member experiences, applying strong product judgment to determine when AI is and isn’t the right solution.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and rapid experimentation to uncover member needs, test assumptions, and inform design decisions.
- Create and prototype information architectures, workflows, interaction patterns, and system behaviors at varying levels of fidelity, using Figma and AI-assisted tools to explore concepts and technical possibilities.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Research, and other cross-functional partners to make thoughtful tradeoffs, define measures of success, and deliver high-quality production experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped consumer-facing digital products.
- Deep expertise in UX and interaction design, particularly for mobile experiences, with the ability to turn ambiguous and complex problems into intuitive products.
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with strong attention to detail and demonstrated consideration of experiences beyond the happy path.
- Strong product judgment and demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, prioritize effectively, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and independently drive consequential product and design decisions.
- Experience designing AI-powered, personalized, intelligent, or similarly complex data-driven experiences, with an understanding of considerations such as uncertainty, trust, user agency, feedback, and failure.
- High proficiency in Figma and experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Research, and other cross-functional partners to deliver meaningful product outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate user problems, design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
