ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an ML Engineer to own the production inference stack for our text-to-speech (TTS) and speech recognition (ASR) models, end to end. Our research team delivers trained model checkpoints; you will productionize them as low-latency, real-time streaming services that run cost-efficiently on GPUs. The role covers the inference engines, the Kubernetes infrastructure they run on, and the performance benchmarking and accuracy validation that let us ship changes safely. You will bridge research and production, and own latency, throughput, cost and accuracy as we scale.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and optimize streaming inference engines for TTS and ASR models, including multi-stage model pipelines.
- Optimize latency (time to first chunk, p50/p99) and throughput using continuous batching, CUDA Graphs, torch.compile and mixed precision.
- Maintain numerical parity with the reference implementation through automated accuracy regression tests, per stage and end to end.
- Deploy and operate GPU inference services on Kubernetes: autoscaling, containerization and infrastructure as code.
- Build CI/CD for model artifacts, with model versioning and reproducible releases.
- Own observability and performance benchmarking: p50/p99 latency, real-time factor (RTF), GPU utilization and cost per request.
- Partner with research to productionize new models.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling and optimizing ML models in production, beyond consuming model APIs.
- Working knowledge of the full inference stack, from CUDA kernels to serving frameworks, with depth in some layers; expertise across all of them is not expected.
- GPU performance optimization: profiling (Nsight Systems, PyTorch Profiler), memory bandwidth, CPU-GPU synchronization.
- Solid understanding of model serving: continuous batching, KV cache management, request scheduling.
- Production experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Python and PyTorch, and a rigorous approach to performance benchmarking.
- Experience with speech or audio models (TTS, ASR, voice conversion).
- Experience with inference frameworks such as vLLM (vLLM-Omni), SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TensorRT or Triton Inference Server.
COMPENSATION:
When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
BENEFITS FOR U.S.-BASED ROLES:
- Competitive salary and generous company equity
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance – 99.99% of premiums covered by Cantina
- 42 days of paid time off, including:
- 15 PTO days
- 10 sick days
- 15 company holidays
- 2 floating holidays
- Generous parental leave & fertility support
- 401(k) retirement savings plan
- Lifestyle spending account – $500/month to use however you’d like
- Complimentary lunch and snacks for in-office employees
- One Medical membership, and more!

An overview of this role
As SEC Manager on GitLab’s Accounting team, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of our external financial reporting, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q. This isn’t a collect-and-consolidate role. Build and drive the quarterly and annual reporting calendar, coordinate cross-functional inputs, maintain accountability for deadlines, and flag timeline risks early.
Lead the earnings release process, including the quarterly management reporting package and review of financial information in the earnings release and script.
Own the disclosure checklist and eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) review process, and identify ways to improve disclosure quality, clarity, and consistency.
Improve the SEC reporting process by identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and manual steps, then driving automation and standardization.
Prepare or review journal entries, reconciliations, the equity rollforward, earnings per share calculations, and provided-by-client schedules for assigned areas such as stock-based compensation and stock repurchases.
Ensure compliance with SEC and United States generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) reporting requirements, research technical accounting issues, and lead the implementation of new accounting pronouncements that affect disclosures.
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements for relevant areas, support internal and external reporting packages, and lead or contribute to special projects such as process improvements, new disclosure requirements, and merger and acquisition reporting.
What you’ll bring
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure or active pursuit of licensure is preferred.
Experience in owning SEC reporting deliverables, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, in a public company or a public accounting environment serving public company clients.
A record of improving disclosures and reporting processes, not only executing existing processes.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to own a calendar, drive accountability across teams, and manage competing deadlines independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and interpret complex accounting guidance.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating with Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and business partners.
Proficiency with Workiva Wdesk and NetSuite is preferred.
About the team
The Accounting team supports accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting at GitLab. In this role, you’ll work closely with partners across Accounting, Legal, FP&A, and Investor Relations to meet public company reporting requirements and strengthen the processes and controls behind our disclosures. WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is shaping the future of Go-To-Market, and as a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll bring that future to life by building alongside customers and turning their biggest challenges into measurable outcomes. As a customer-facing, quota-carrying SC, you’ll bring together technical fluency and commercial ownership to grow your book of business. You’ll build pipeline with BDRs, engage key stakeholders, lead discovery, co-build workflow solutions live with customers, and guide opportunities through close. You’ll connect each solution to a clear business case and stay engaged through adoption, expansion, and renewal so customers realize the value of what they buy.
You’ll partner with BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists while maintaining clear ownership of customer relationships, opportunity momentum, and next steps. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Create pipeline across your book of business. Build target-account plans with BDRs and initiate outreach to priority stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline.
- Own opportunities from first conversation through close. Lead discovery, qualify business needs and urgency, align stakeholders, shape the solution and business case, and drive the evaluation and commercial decision. Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path.
- Design and validate workflow solutions that deliver measurable value. Map current- and future-state workflows, co-build solutions live in Notion, and define realistic scope, success criteria, and an implementation path. Translate customer needs and validated outcomes into a clear business case, commercial recommendation, and decision path. Treat discovery as an opportunity to build and validate.
- Orchestrate the right partners while maintaining ownership. Engage BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists at the right moments, with clear context and asks, while owning opportunity momentum, customer communication, and next steps.
- Drive customer value and commercial growth after signature. Partner with Outcomes Architects, guide the initial path to value with a clear adoption plan, on onboarding and ongoing multi-workflow adoption, and own expansion strategy and renewal planning. Stay accountable for translating credits sold into credits consumed, and surface risks or expansion opportunities as customer workflows mature.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 4-7+ years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers
- Commercial ownership and pipeline generation. You can demonstrate how you created or advanced business, influenced customer decisions, and owned measurable outcomes. Relevant experience may come from quota-carrying sales or adjacent customer-facing roles.
- Technical fluency and builder mindset. You are comfortable building live in software and can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot with a customer without needing a specialist in the room.
- AI fluency. You are excited about AI, build with new tools, and continually learn new ways of working.
- Discovery, qualification, and value articulation. You can uncover customer needs, map workflows, qualify business impact and urgency, and translate what you learn into commercial outcomes, adoption plans, and clear success criteria.
- Agency, urgency, and learning velocity. You set clear goals, take initiative, learn from customer interactions, and apply those learnings to improve outcomes. You bring new ideas and workflows to customers and make complex problems easier to solve.
- Complex customer engagement. You can lead multi-stakeholder interactions and navigate procurement, legal, and security review cycles.
NICE TO HAVES
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new logo acquisition and expansion motions
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals
- Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or CS team as part of an integrated customer motion
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated range for total on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is $216,000 - $276,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Mistral, you may also work on use cases outside cybersecurity, bringing the same context engineering, orchestration, and eval work to enterprise workflows in finance, manufacturing, defense, or the public sector.
What You Will Do
- Client-Facing Agentic Solutions
- You'll individually help deploy into production use cases with considerable business impact across various industries, with cybersecurity client assignments as a priority
- You'll work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications, driving a crucial technological transformation together with our customers
- Tackle iconic use cases that no existing solution on the market can address - from custom configuration of cybersecurity harnesses for cloud defense, to optimizing agentic vulnerability scanning solutions, to customizing agentic red-teaming solutions or penetration testing scenarios
- You'll work directly on client use cases, translating security requirements into agentic solutions
- You'll be involved in pre-sales calls to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and aspirations, providing technical guidance on our products and explaining Mistral technologies to various stakeholders
- You'll collaborate with our product and science teams to continuously improve our product and model capabilities based on customer feedback
How We Work in Applied AI
- We care about people and outputs
- What matters is what you ship, not the time you spend on it
- Bureaucracy is where urgency goes to vanish. You talk to whoever you need to talk to. The best idea wins, whether it comes from a principal engineer or someone in their first week
- Always ask why. The best solutions come from deep understanding, not from copying what worked before
- We say what we mean. Feedback is direct, timely, and given because we care
- No politics. Low ego, high standards
- We embrace an unstructured environment and find joy in it
About You
- You are fluent in English
- You have 2+ years as a technical individual contributor (data scientist or software engineer) on AI-based products
- You have proven experience in AI or machine learning product implementation with APIs, back-end, and front-end interfaces
- You have experience tackling advanced RAG, building agentic use cases, or fine-tuning LLMs
- You have a deep understanding of the concepts and algorithms underlying machine learning and LLMs
- You have strong technical coding skills in Python
- You have strong communication skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ideally, you have:
- Contributed to open-source projects, in particular in the space of LLMs
- Experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager
- Hands-on experience building agents, LLM orchestration, context engineering, evals, and RAG systems
- A bias toward action and delivery - you ship fast
- The ability to operate independently with a customer-led mindset
- The ability to reuse internal building blocks and components effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- A collaborative attitude
- Pentesting knowledge
- Experience developing a cybersecurity product
- Experience building agentic harnesses or multi-agent systems end-to-end
- A strong background in evals and benchmarking of agent systems
- Experience with security tooling or workflows
- Prior work on production AI systems in regulated or high-stakes environments

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion’s Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality and unlock the full potential of our platform. You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes.
This role sits at the center of Notion’s workflow-led GTM motion. You will partner directly with customers to understand their business goals, operating processes, technical environment, governance needs, and adoption barriers, then translate that context into scalable Notion architectures that drive measurable value.
You will be hands-on across discovery, solution design, workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, adoption and handoff. You will work deeply with customers to define what Notion should own, where it should integrate with existing systems, and how Notion can become a durable operating layer for their teams.
The best candidates combine strong consultative discovery, systems thinking, technical fluency, AI-native workflow design, implementation judgment and exceptional customer presence. You should be comfortable reasoning through technical tradeoffs, designing scalable solutions, and partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineering when deeper engineering support is required.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Partner with customers on forward deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals and workflow requirements into scalable clear solution design and Notion solutions that drive durable adoption.
- Design scalable Notion architectures that translate customer workflows, permission and governance needs, integrations and AI use cases into optimal workspaces that are easy to adopt, manage and scale.
- Design and deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, Workers, Developer Platform capabilities and adjacent AI tools, partnering with Forward Deployed Engineering when advanced technical depth is needed for migrations, API constraints, security architecture or frontier implementation.
- Help customers navigate change by designing adoption plans, enablement materials and launch approaches that drive sustained usage and measurable business value.
- Identify repeatable patterns across customer engagements and convert them into packaged solutions, templates, reference architectures, run books, enablement assets and product feedback.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, simplifying complex technical requirements, making practical tradeoff recommendations and helping stakeholders align around a clear implementation path.
- Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, PMM, Services leadership and the partner ecosystem to scale what works beyond individual customer engagements.
- Create clear implementation plans, handoff materials and success measures that align customers and internal teams on the path to value.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 5+ years of experience in tech services/consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
- Strong consultative discovery skills, including the ability to map current-state workflows, identify customer pain, understand operating models, surface technical constraints, and define practical future-state solutions.
- Hands-on AI builder mindset, with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, automate, or improve real business workflows.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems, developer workflows and implementation tradeoffs. You do not need to write production code but you should be able to reason through technical constraints and troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong experience delivering implementations that drive adoption, change management and long-term customer value.
- Strong project and engagement management skills, including ownership of scope, timeline, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, risks, decisions, dependencies and launch readiness.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Strong executive presence and customer judgment, with the ability to build trust, frame tradeoffs clearly, and move ambiguous decisions forward.
- Bias toward action, high learning velocity, and comfort building in fast-changing AI-native product environments.
- Written and spoken Japanese fluency to communicate directly with external customers, partners, and internal teams
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience designing or deploying Agents, automations or AI-powered workflows with Customers.
- Experience with Notion, APIs, MCPs, Workers, coding agents or developer platform workflows.
- Experience developing discovery methodologies, reusable delivery assets, internal tooling, packaged services or reference architectures from the ground up.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to turn field learnings into roadmap signal, reusable architecture patterns or scalable product improvements.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
- Business level English proficiency to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and peers.
- Experience working with Japanese enterprise customers or familiarity with Japan market dynamics and business practices.

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- Create pipeline across your book of business. Build target-account plans with BDRs and initiate outreach to priority stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline.
- Own opportunities from first conversation through close. Lead discovery, qualify business needs and urgency, align stakeholders, shape the solution and business case, and drive the evaluation and commercial decision. Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path.

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Mid-market sales experience. You have experience selling technical products to technical buyers at mid-market organizations (500–2,999 employees).
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.

If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- 1-3 years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers.
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
- Prior experience selling to commercial accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or Customer Success team as part of an integrated customer motion.

- 8–15+ years of experience selling technical products to technical buyers
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
- Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or Customer Success team as part of an integrated customer motion.
