About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Financial Data and Controls Lead to join our Billing Platform team. Billing Platform builds the systems customers use to transact with Anthropic: subscriptions, usage billing, quote to cash, invoicing, and payments. You'll be the dedicated owner of billing accuracy, reconciliation, and financial controls across those systems, making sure the right checks run, the right controls are in place, and the audit evidence exists.
Our billing systems and pricing change often, and each flow needs to meet SOX requirements. Accurate billing is what lets us launch products and pricing quickly and still close the books on time. The hard problems today include validating negotiated pricing from contract to invoice, handling the many forms of credits, app store billing, and keeping controls current while the systems under them are replaced.
This is a foundational role and the first hire of its kind on the team. You'll lead a working group of the reconciliation and controls owners from each billing engineering team, and you'll set the approach they follow. You'll work closely with Finance Systems, Accounting, Internal Audit, and Data Engineering.
The role sits in Engineering and works with Finance every day. Our Data organization builds the pipelines and owns the warehouse, and you'll use that data and partner with that team. We're looking for an engineer or data practitioner with strong accounting domain knowledge, who can talk to engineers about systems and to Finance and auditors about risk and materiality.
Key responsibilities
Own reconciliation and accuracy checks for critical billing data (quantity, price, discounts, and invoices) across our product platform, third-party billing and payment providers, app stores, cloud marketplaces, and in-house systems
Design and run detective controls that catch billing errors before they reach the accounting books
Partner with billing engineering teams to turn repeat checks into automated verifiers
Review billing changes that have financial impact, flag the ones that touch SOX or IT application controls (ITACs), and make sure functional test evidence is in place
Make SOX review a standard, lightweight step in how billing changes ship, treated like a security review, so launches are not delayed by it
Own the end-to-end test strategy and audit evidence for those changes, working with Finance Systems, Data Engineering, Accounting, and Internal Audit
Triage billing errors, prioritize backfills and fixes with the owning teams, and track materiality over time
Define and maintain the data contracts between billing and finance systems, so downstream teams can find and trust the data they need
Lead the working group of reconciliation and controls owners across billing engineering teams, through influence and not reporting lines
Act as the Billing owner, alongside Accounting and Finance Systems, for translating the product and pricing roadmap into financial impact, test strategy, and process updates
Minimum qualifications
Experience building or owning a financial ledger, billing reconciliation, or cash reconciliation system end to end, one that Accounting relied on to close the books
Hands-on SQL skills strong enough to take two messy datasets (for example usage events and invoices), match them, find the breaks, and explain the root cause
Accounting domain knowledge (order to cash, month-end close, and materiality) sufficient to tell which billing changes have financial impact
Experience working with SOX and Internal Audit teams on IT application controls, detective controls, transaction monitoring, functional test evidence, and auditor walkthroughs
Experience defining data contracts between billing or product systems and finance systems such as the ERP, general ledger, or revenue recognition
Track record of driving work across Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Audit without direct authority
Ability to explain technical issues to Finance and auditors in their terms, and financial risk to engineers in theirs
Interest in AI and a commitment to Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI systems
Preferred qualifications
Background as a backend, data, or analytics engineer who built a financial ledger or cash reconciliation system from scratch
Experience running these systems under public company reporting requirements, and scaling them as the company grew
Experience with usage-based or consumption billing
Experience with multi-party billing, such as marketplaces, or app stores
Experience turning manual checks into automated verifiers with engineering teams
Experience remediating a control deficiency, or standing up a controls program while the underlying systems were changing
A track record of using Claude or other AI tools to automate reconciliation, testing, or evidence collection, with checks that hold up to review
Experience with billing and finance tools such as Stripe, Metronome, Zuora, NetSuite, or Workday Financials
Python for data analysis or automation

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value.
Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring an Enterprise Sales Lead to define and build the commercial opportunity for our emerging agentic products. You’ll identify where this technology solves meaningful customer problems, build relationships with enterprise buyers, and turn early interest into commercial deployments.
This role combines hands-on enterprise selling with product and GTM development. Working closely with our CTO, product, and engineering teams, you’ll help determine what we sell, who we sell it to, and how we package it. You should be comfortable taking an emerging capability to customers, learning quickly, and helping shape the offering as you build the business.
We’re building this effort with a small, focused team that works directly with customers, prototypes quickly, and turns promising technology into products people will use. Joining this team means helping define a new product category, its customer experience, and the business around it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how businesses participate in the agent economy and bring that vision to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop the enterprise sales and GTM strategy for our agentic products, identifying priority industries, buyers, use cases, and routes to market.
- Bring an established network of enterprise relationships and build new connections with decision-makers across commerce, services, and/or relevant regulated industries.
- Own the sales process from customer discovery and qualification through pilots, negotiation, and commercial agreements.
- Work directly with prospective customers to understand their workflows, business priorities, and requirements for deploying AI agents.
- Partner with product and engineering to translate customer needs into product requirements, demonstrations, and commercially compelling offerings.
- Help define positioning, packaging, pricing, and pilot structures, testing assumptions through customer conversations and actual deals.
- Build a repeatable approach to moving customers from early experimentation into production and broader adoption.
- Establish pipeline discipline, communicate market feedback, and help the team prioritize opportunities with the strongest commercial potential.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, with a track record of closing complex agreements and building trusted executive relationships.
- Meaningful startup experience, including building a new sales motion, launching an offering, or winning early enterprise customers.
- An established network of buyers in enterprise commerce, retail, services, or regulated industries.
- Experience selling technical products and translating emerging technology into clear business value.
- Direct involvement in shaping product positioning, packaging, pricing, or GTM strategy alongside product and engineering teams.
- Strong customer discovery skills and the judgment to distinguish a repeatable market opportunity from a one-off request.
- A hands-on approach: you’re comfortable prospecting, running discovery, developing proposals, and closing deals yourself.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and a product that will evolve through customer engagement.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling AI agents, commerce platforms, payments, trust and security products, or enterprise workflow software.
- Familiarity with customer journeys such as shopping, returns and refunds, reservations, ticketing, or insurance servicing.
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement, security reviews, and requirements for controlled or regulated workflows.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

Mysten Labs is looking for a hands-on Security Engineer with strong application security fundamentals and a track record of finding and fixing real vulnerabilities. You’ll own bug bounty programs and external audits, secure our code and software supply chain, and build tooling that protects Mysten’s products and users across the Sui ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Run Mysten's bug bounty programs: triage, severity, responses, internal escalations, fix validation, and the budget and payouts. Turn recurring report classes into automated checks.
- Own audit engagements: scope and schedule external audits, act as the technical counterpart during the engagement, and track findings through remediation and fix validation.
- Conduct code and design reviews of systems built by Mysten, its subsidiaries and partners (Rust, TypeScript, Move). Drive issues to conclusion, including investigation and incident response, and run variant analysis so each bug class is closed everywhere it occurs.
- Own software supply chain security: dependency and CI/CD malware defenses, Endor Labs, the code security service (GitHub controls, merge bots), and the ongoing code security self-auditing service. Detect and respond to compromised packages, maintainers and build pipelines, and secure the provenance and signing of what Mysten ships.
- Build and improve anti-scam and anti-abuse tooling for the Sui ecosystem: detect phishing sites, malicious dApps, drainer contracts and other threats that target Sui users, and work with wallet teams on mitigations.
- Build security tooling: LLM-driven triage and review agents, and static and dynamic analysis (taint, call graphs, fuzzing) wired into CI and code review. Build in known-clean checks so people trust the results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, application security or product security, with a track record of finding real vulnerabilities (bug bounty reports, audit findings, CVEs or published research).
- Strong Web2 security fundamentals: XSS, CSRF, SSRF, authorization flaws, injection, deserialization, software supply chain failures, cryptographic failures.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, TypeScript, Python or Move, and experience reviewing and writing security-sensitive code.
- Hands-on knowledge of software supply chain attack surface: package ecosystems (npm, crates.io http://crates.io, PyPI), CI/CD (GitHub Actions workflow injection, token exposure, unpinned actions), and build provenance.
- Solid understanding of applied cryptography fundamentals and the common ways cryptographic systems are misused in practice.
- Experience on either side of a bug bounty program or an audit engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence teams you have no formal authority over.
- Interest in the web3 space is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Smart contract or wallet security: Move, Solidity or Rust-based chains; Sui's object and capability model is a plus.
- Static or dynamic program analysis: CodeQL, Semgrep, taint analysis, fuzzing, symbolic execution.
- Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work.
- Anti-phishing, anti-fraud or trust & safety experience: domain and content monitoring, crawling, classifiers, threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of recent crypto incidents and the defect classes behind them: drainer kits, DeFi frontend compromises, package-registry compromises.
- Notable bug bounty rankings, CVEs, publications or conference talks.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

ABOUT MYSTEN LABS
Through Sui and our financial products, we’re building infrastructure and experiences for trading, liquidity, and asset management. Alongside that work, we’re developing the infrastructure and products AI agents need to operate reliably, handle sensitive information, and interact under clear rules.
As agents take on more responsibility, they need more than intelligence. They need persistent context, trusted access to information, and clear boundaries around what they can do. Mysten brings together capabilities across storage, memory, privacy, and policy-controlled interactions to help make that future possible.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Product Lead to turn our emerging agentic technologies into products customers can understand, adopt, and buy.
Your role is to translate our product capabilities into useful experiences and commercially viable offerings—for example, a commerce-focused product that helps retailers manage agent-driven shopping, returns, or refunds.
Working closely with our CTO, Sales Lead, and engineering, you’ll identify customer problems, rapidly prototype solutions, and help bring the strongest opportunities to market. You’ll connect customer discovery, product definition, experience design, and commercialization, staying close to the work from the first concept through launch.
Joining this team means helping define a new product category, its customer experience, and the business around it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how businesses participate in the agent economy and bring that vision to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and prioritize customer problems our other agentic products are well positioned to solve.
- Lead customer discovery alongside our CTO, developing a clear understanding of buyer needs, user workflows, and adoption barriers.
- Rapidly create prototypes, interactive demonstrations, and product variants using AI-assisted design and coding tools.
- Test concepts with customers and use their feedback to refine the experience, scope, and value proposition.
- Define product requirements and work with engineering to turn validated prototypes into reliable, production-ready offerings.
- Shape packaging, pricing hypotheses, positioning, and GTM strategy in partnership with sales and the broader team.
- Design experiences that make agent capabilities, permissions, policies, and human oversight understandable to users.
- Balance customer-specific needs with opportunities to build reusable capabilities and repeatable products.
- Define success measures across customer value, adoption, conversion, and revenue, using results to guide iteration.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of Product Management, Product Design, or related experience
- A track record of taking new products from an ambiguous opportunity through customer validation, launch, and commercial adoption.
- Startup or similarly entrepreneurial experience, with direct ownership of building and shipping under uncertainty.
- Strong prototyping skills and hands-on experience using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools to build and iterate on functional experiences.
- Experience working directly with customers to define products, validate demand, and support pilots or sales conversations.
- Commercial judgment, including experience contributing to packaging, pricing, positioning, or GTM decisions.
- Strong UX instincts and the ability to make complex technology approachable without obscuring important controls or constraints.
- Enough technical fluency to collaborate with engineering on integrations, feasibility, and the path from prototype to production.
- A hands-on working style and the ability to influence across product, design, engineering, and sales.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with customer-facing AI, enterprise commerce, payments, trust and security, or workflow products.
- Experience with agent permissions, approval flows, auditability, or other mechanisms that help businesses control automated actions.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

At 0x https://0x.org/, our mission is to "Create a Tokenized World Where All Forms of Value Can Flow Freely". We deliver this to web3 builders with a delightfully simple suite of developer APIs that provide faster trading, better prices, and superior user experience.
Founded in 2017, we’ve processed over 211M+ transactions and $180B+ in trading volume from users trading on Matcha, Coinbase Wallet, Robinhood Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, DefiLlama, MetaMask, Zerion, Zapper, and many more. Our investors include Greylock Partners, Pantera Capital, and Jump Crypto.
When you join 0x, you’ll become part of a veteran team of crypto builders who know the importance of code quality, team cohesion, and a culture of learning.
About the role
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to grow 0x’s footprint across the leading trading apps in crypto. We already power many of the top wallets, terminals, trading bots and launchpads on EVM. You’ll build on that position while helping establish 0x on Solana.
This role is for someone who’s part of crypto, not just selling into it. You use onchain products daily, follow CT and are well connected across the space. You’re as comfortable closing a structured, multi-month deal with a major wallet as an informal one in a Telegram chat.
You’ll join a team of three, reporting to our Head of Sales and working alongside our Institutional Sales Lead.
New York location preferred, but we’re open to exceptional candidates elsewhere in the Americas or Europe with strong overlap with US working hours.
What you’ll do
- Find and qualify opportunities across EVM and Solana, from new apps that need swap infrastructure to established platforms that can benefit from 0x’s trade execution.
- Own deals from first outreach through go-live: lead discovery, technical scoping, commercial negotiations and contracting, bringing in Engineering and Legal to resolve blockers along the way.
- Drive trading volume and revenue through your partnerships, staying close to customers to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Share customer and market feedback with Product and Engineering on routing, execution quality, latency, feature gaps and more.
- Help shape our cryptonative sales playbook, including targeting, lead qualification, positioning and deal terms.
- Represent 0x at conferences and ecosystem events around the world.
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years in business development or sales, with a proven track record of sourcing and closing deals with cryptonative teams.
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of the Solana ecosystem and an existing network of founders, operators, and decision-makers across Solana wallets, terminals, trading bots and launchpads.
- Experience selling a technical product, such as APIs, infrastructure or developer tooling, to engineers and business teams alik
- Experience building your own pipeline from scratch, without SDR support.
- Experience negotiating commercial terms for onchain trading products, such as swap fees, trade surplus, API pricing and revenue-sharing agreements.
- A strong understanding of onchain trading and execution quality, including how price impact, slippage, gas costs and fees affect trading outcomes.
- Ability to travel globally for customer meetings, conferences, ecosystem events, and annual team offsites.
- Aligned with our core values https://0x.org/post/the-0x-mission-and-values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact.
Nice to have
- Comfortable navigating onchain data from platforms like Dune and DefiLlama to spot trends, size opportunities and benchmark 0x against competitors.
- Experience at a DEX, aggregator or onchain trading infrastructure company.
BENEFITS
- The base salary range for this position is USD $120,000 - $225,000 + variable pay + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
- Comprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability) for U.S.-based employees — 100% of base plan covered for you and dependents
- 401k and FSA for U.S.-based employees
- Monthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and pre-tax transportation expense
- Covered mental health benefits (included professional therapy sessions)
- A supportive remote environment
- Lunch reimbursement for all employees across the globe!
- Stipend for your ideal remote / WFH set-up: headphones, and any other work gear you may need
- 12-week paid parental leave
- Great office conveniently located in the SF Financial District for those in the region!
- Flexible vacation: Take time when you need it (and we really mean it!)

Keet is a fully peer-to-peer messaging and video calling app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. There are no servers, no middlemen, and no data harvesting. People talk directly to each other, with end-to-end encryption by design.
We're taking Keet to a billion users, competing head-on with WhatsApp and Telegram. Product sets the direction. We're looking for a Product Engineering Lead to turn that direction into features people love, built to a standard that holds up at global scale.
You lead the teams that build Keet's features: the API team, which adds feature-focused APIs to Keet's core, and the frontend team, which builds the React app on top, each with its own lead. You report directly to the CTO and take direction from product. Product owns the what and the why. You own the how and the engineering bar. The split is roughly 70% engineering leadership and 30% product.
You're a combination of three things. You're an engineering leader who has helped teams ship consumer products at speed. You have real product sense and can partner with PMs as an equal, shaping what gets built, not just executing it. And you have an intuition for distributed, local-first systems, so you can work fluently on top of a P2P engine without needing to build it yourself.
Responsabilities
Engineering
Run the API and frontend teams day to day: unblocking, reviewing, and keeping them shipping.
Set and hold a high engineering bar for performance, reliability, and clean APIs.
Own the technical design of features and the API surface between Keet's core and the app.
Make sure the API team works closely with our deep tech teams on code reviews, design, and anything that touches the engine.
Product Partnership
Work alongside Keet's product managers to turn vision and roadmap into scoped, buildable work.
Push back when scope and reality don't match, and propose better paths when they exist.
Bring an engineering perspective to product decisions, especially where P2P opens doors that centralized apps can't.
Help the team move fast, using AI tools and quick prototypes to validate ideas before committing to them.
Leadership
Create clarity around team goals and make sure everyone knows what success looks like.
Mentor team leads to build strong team operating systems, improve how their teams work with others, and grow as leaders.
Lead by example: roll up your sleeves when the team needs it, and step back when they're ready to own it.
Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer product, ideally in chat, calling, or social apps.
Strong product sense: you can tell a good feature from a busy one.
Intuition for distributed and local-first systems. Offline-first and eventual consistency should feel natural. You don't need P2P protocol expertise, because our core abstracts it away.
Deep JavaScript and React.
Initiative, curiosity, resilience, and the ability to give and receive direct critique.
Bonus: experience with local-first apps, CRDTs or sync engines, offline-capable mobile or desktop apps, or open source.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a TPRM Senior Associate with 4+ years of relevant experience to serve as a key operational member of the London TPRM team. This role is the primary operational bridge between the London leadership, the Offshore TPRM Operations Team, and critical onshore functions (Procurement, Business Owners, Risk SMEs). The Senior Associate is responsible for coordinating the execution workflow, managing the quality assurance of medium-risk third parties, and driving the logistics for the critical Supplier Performance Review process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is centred on execution quality, operational leadership, and cross-functional coordination within the London TPRM team structure:
- Offshore Operations Liaison & Quality Control:
- Act as the primary daily point of contact and operational supervisor for the Offshore TPRM Operations Team, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of all third-party risk assessments and due diligence activities.
- Lead the Quality Control (QC) process for all assessments delivered by the offshore team, ensuring outputs are consistent, align with established methodologies, and are fully audit-ready.
- Monitor the operational performance of the offshore team against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Be ready to conduct third-party assessments to support the team, where required.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Assessment Oversight:
- Coordinate Assessment Initiation by working closely with Procurement and Business Owners to ensure third-party risk assessments are initiated at the correct phase of the third-party lifecycle.
- Manage the crucial triage and review process by coordinating with Internal Risk SMEs (e.g., InfoSec, Data Privacy, BCP) to ensure high-risk assessments receive appropriate specialized review and sign-off prior to completion.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for these onshore internal risk teams regarding third-party-specific findings and remediation requirements.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Oversee the governance and standardization of ongoing supplier performance monitoring activities executed by the offshore team.
- Coordinate with Business Owners and Procurement to collect and review performance data (e.g., SLA adherence, operational metrics) and integrate significant performance failures or deficiencies into the overall third-party risk profile.
- Ensure any critical performance issues are appropriately flagged for risk review and incorporated into continuous monitoring plans.
- Escalation and Remediation Management:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all high-risk findings, process bottlenecks, and third-party non-compliance issues reported by the Offshore TPRM Operations Team.
- Work with Business Owners and Procurement to define, drive, and track third-party remediation plans, ensuring mitigation steps are completed within established timelines.
- 2nd Line of Defense Liaison & Governance Support:
- Act as the key operational liaison for the 2nd Line of Defense (Risk Oversight), compiling and delivering required operational data, metrics, and commentary on the coverage and control effectiveness of the TPRM program.
- Support the TPRM team in the preparation of reports and presentations on TPRM metrics, trends, and program effectiveness for leadership and Risk Committees.
- Program & Tool Support:
- Assist the TPRM team in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the TPRM system/tool, ensuring data integrity across the platform.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), risk management, compliance, or a related operational control function.
- Consulting Background: Prior experience working at a Big 4 (e.g., Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG) or a similar major consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Operational Control: Proven experience acting as a process gatekeeper or reviewer, with specific experience in Quality Assurance (QA) for risk or compliance deliverables.
- Coordination: Demonstrated success coordinating delivery and information flow between offshore/remote teams and demanding onshore business/risk stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage expectations and articulate complex operational risks clearly.
- TPRM/GRC Knowledge: Solid understanding of TPRM principles, risk domains (InfoSec, BCP, ABAC, etc.), and prior experience supporting the administration or maintenance of a GRC/TPRM platform is highly desirable.

Underwriting & Funding Manager
About the role
inKind is looking for an Underwriting & Funding Manager to evaluate restaurant funding opportunities and make disciplined, timely funding decisions. You’ll own the review process from initial diligence through final recommendation or approval, helping inKind fund strong restaurant partners while managing risk.
This role requires financial judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to understand the business behind the numbers. You should be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, asking thoughtful questions, and explaining your conclusions clearly.
What you’ll do
Review new funding opportunities. Assess applications, financial statements, sales trends, bank activity, existing obligations, and other supporting materials for completeness and accuracy.
Underwrite restaurant businesses. Evaluate operating performance, cash flow, liquidity, ownership experience, and the restaurant’s ability to support the proposed funding structure.
Determine appropriate funding terms. Recommend funding amounts, structures, conditions, and risk mitigants based on your analysis and inKind’s underwriting guidelines.
Make funding decisions. Approve or decline requests within your delegated authority and present exceptions or larger transactions to the appropriate decision-makers.
Document your judgment. Prepare concise underwriting summaries that explain the opportunity, key risks, assumptions, and rationale for each decision.
Lead diligence. Work with restaurant owners and internal teams to resolve questions, verify information, and identify material discrepancies or potential fraud.
Coordinate funding readiness. Confirm that required approvals, documentation, and funding conditions are complete before funds are released.
Improve the process. Help refine underwriting standards, approval workflows, and reporting to make decisions more consistent and efficient.
Learn from performance. Partner with the team monitoring funded restaurants to compare actual results with underwriting assumptions and improve future decisions.
Minimum Experience
4+ years of experience in commercial underwriting, small business financing, fintech lending, credit analysis, investment analysis, or a related field.
Strong financial statement analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to evaluate cash flow, liquidity, leverage, repayment capacity, and unit-level economics.
Experience independently evaluating transactions, assessing financial and operational risks, and making or recommending funding decisions.
Experience building, implementing, or improving underwriting processes, with a focus on automation, operational efficiency, and scalable decision-making.
Ability to translate underwriting policies, financial thresholds, risk indicators, and approval requirements into structured business rules and automated workflows.
Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with the ability to work with financial datasets, identify patterns, validate information, and support data-driven underwriting decisions.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and working with transaction-level data.
Familiarity with underwriting systems, financial data platforms, automated decisioning tools, or workflow automation technologies.
Ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to define requirements, test solutions, and implement improvements to underwriting systems and processes.
Sound commercial judgment and the ability to balance funding opportunities, speed of execution, and disciplined risk management.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial findings, underwriting decisions, and technical requirements to financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple funding reviews and process improvement initiatives without sacrificing quality.
Preferred Experience
Restaurant, hospitality, or multiunit business underwriting experience.
Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) data, payment processing systems, seasonality, food and labor costs, and location-level profitability.
Experience with alternative financing structures, including revenue-based financing or merchant cash advances.
Hands-on experience implementing automated underwriting workflows, rules-based decision engines, risk-scoring models, or automated approval processes.
Experience integrating or analyzing financial data from banking platforms, POS systems, payment processors, or third-party data providers.
Working knowledge of SQL and experience with Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, or similar data and business intelligence platforms.
Experience using AI, machine learning, or automation tools to improve financial analysis, document processing, risk assessment, or underwriting efficiency.
A track record of building or refining underwriting policies, approval frameworks, and risk management processes in a high-growth fintech or lending environment.
What success looks like
You deliver timely, well-supported funding decisions; identify material risks before funding; maintain clear and complete approval records; and help inKind grow a healthy portfolio of restaurant partners.
Compensation and benefits: $120,000 - 155,000 base salary + Benefits
