HOW WE WORK
Decisions in writing. Significant technical decisions are written up as an RFC or ADR that lays out the options and trade-offs. We discuss the document, not a blank whiteboard.
AI is part of everyday engineering. We use AI coding tools for development and review, and we treat configuring them for a codebase as real engineering work.
HOW WE HIRE
Intro call. Your background, your motivation and the role.
Technical interview. Built directly on the What you will own and Required sections above. We won't ask about anything this posting doesn't promise.
Bar raiser. An engineer from outside the hiring team checks that you raise the overall engineering bar.
THE TEAM
You will work alongside product managers, designers, smart contract, backend and frontend engineers, QA and DevOps.
BENEFITS
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes medical, dental, and vision, PTO, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. Together, we're not just building a business; we're cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.

Kit https://kit.com/ is the email marketing platform experts choose to grow their audience, deepen their relationships, and build a business around the work they love. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform.
More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living. We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote.
We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team. We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer II to take ownership of a large share of Kit's core infrastructure: databases, Kubernetes, version upgrades, platform tooling, and day-to-day support. You'll also build the paved paths that let engineers, non-engineers, and AI agents test and ship changes safely.
The infrastructure supports creators who depend on Kit to reach their audiences and earn a living. When it's healthy, nobody notices. That's the job.
This is a full-time Individual Contributor role for an experienced infrastructure engineer who likes owning production systems end to end, takes on-call seriously, leans into automation and enjoys making other people's work easier.
YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM
You'll report to Mojtaba Hosseini https://www.linkedin.com/in/mojtaba-hosseini-7a6666/, VP of Engineering at Kit. Day to day, you'll work most closely with Kris Hamoud https://www.linkedin.com/in/kristopher-hamoud-17b34665/ and Ivan Mora Perez https://www.linkedin.com/in/ivan-mora-p%C3%A9rez-ab460b45/.
You'll also partner with product engineers across Kit, and with teams outside engineering who rely on infrastructure to get their work done. Once you're ramped up, you'll join a three-person on-call rotation, which works out to roughly one week in three.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- First Week: Get access to our AWS accounts, Kubernetes clusters, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines. Read through our runbooks and architecture docs. Take part in Get To Know Yous (GTKYs) with Kris, Ivan, and the engineering teams you'll support.
- First Month: Pick up day-to-day infrastructure support requests and start working through them with Kris and Ivan as backup. Ship your first improvement, such as a version upgrade or a fix to a gap in monitoring. Shadow on-call shifts. Write down what you learn along the way, especially the parts that only lived in someone's head or those that can be automated or improved.
- First Six Months: Own core infrastructure areas end to end: databases, Kubernetes, version upgrades, and platform tooling. Take your full share of on-call, which you'll start by the end of your first quarter. Become the go-to person for day-to-day infrastructure questions. Find one recurring source of pages and make it go away. Ship a first paved path, such as a sandbox environment where AI agents or non-engineers can safely build and test changes.
- First Year: You're the primary owner of a large part of Kit's core infrastructure, and you lead projects in it without needing direction. Uptime stays at 99.9% or better, page volume is down, and you've found real cost savings. Your paved paths are in regular use by engineers, non-engineers, and AI agents. You've built observability good enough for AI agents to handle some on-call load. You've documented your decisions so others can build on your work.
WHAT WILL S.E.T. YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
Skills
- Running production infrastructure on AWS at scale, including managed relational databases, networking, and load balancing
- Operating Kubernetes in production: upgrades, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
- Managing infrastructure as code and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that engineers trust
- Building monitoring and alerting that catches real problems early and doesn't page people for noise
- Diagnosing complex, multi-service incidents calmly, then fixing the underlying cause
- Cutting cloud costs through right-sizing and reserved capacity without hurting reliability
- Writing clear runbooks, docs, and decision write-ups
- Nice to have: experience with Cloudflare, ephemeral or sandbox environments, or email sending infrastructure
Experiences
- Around 7 or more years in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Owning production infrastructure for a product where downtime costs customers money
- Carrying a pager for systems you owned, and making that on-call rotation quieter over time
- Leading a major upgrade or migration, such as a database or Kubernetes version upgrade, with little or no customer impact
- Building self-service tooling or paved paths that other engineers actually adopted
- Working on a small infrastructure team where you couldn't hand problems off to a specialist
Traits
- You own what you run. You spot infrastructure debt and fix it without waiting to be asked, and you follow through until it's done.
- You build quality into the work. Upgrades have rollback plans, maintenance windows are planned around customers, and "good enough" is a decision, not a default.
- You leverage AI effectively. AI helps you increase quality and velocity where it matters most. You know when to delegate and when to dive in, while holding accountability.
- You make work easier for everyone else. You'd rather build a tool or write a guide once than answer the same question ten times.
- You teach what you know. You write things down so the next person, or the next AI agent, can build on your work.
- You work in public. You share context and tradeoffs openly, including during incidents and when things go wrong.
- You use AI thoughtfully. It's part of how you work, and you help others adopt it without creating new risks.
- You remember who's on the other end. An outage means a creator's launch email doesn't go out, and that shapes how you prioritize.
WHAT WON'T SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
- Wanting a well-defined backlog handed to you each week. Here, you'll find much of the work yourself and set priorities with Kris.
- Preferring not to be on call. On-call is a core part of this role, shared across a team of three.
- You are skeptical of AI’s capabilities, or conversely use AI without good judgement and accountability.
- Wanting mostly greenfield architecture. A lot of this work is running, upgrading, and improving systems that already exist.
- Needing layers of approval before acting.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Coast of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory.
This role is part of a three-person on-call rotation, so during your on-call week you'll need to be able to respond to pages outside your usual working hours.
We believe PTO should always take priority over on-call. We schedule on-call around people's lives, not the other way around. On-call is a shared responsibility, but taking time off should never be a challenge

About Scorewarrior.
We're a game developer and publisher from Cyprus with one single game in the 4x strategy genre: Total Battle. We're a one-game company on purpose, because in everything we do, we focus
We are currently concentrating on two major goals:
- To make our game #1 in its genre.

That's why we need you.
Let's dive in.
As our Senior 3D Artist you will create video creatives for Total Battle's performance marketing. Your goal will be to turn creative concepts into engaging gameplay videos that attract new players.
This isn't a role where you simply execute a ready-made brief. You'll take a concept or mechanic, figure out how to bring it to life, build the scene and gameplay logic, and take it all the way to the final video.
Key responsibilities.
- Create 3D video creatives for Total Battle using Unreal Engine, as well as Houdini, Cocos, or Unity where appropriate.
- Build new gameplay mechanics and logic from scratch within a production cycle of up to 8 working days.

You could be a great fit for this position if:
- You have strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine/Houdini and Blueprints.
- You have a solid 3D foundation, including animation, lighting, composition, basic modelling, and rigging.
- You have experience creating marketing creatives for mobile games and a portfolio to show us.
- You have a basic understanding of game design and can turn an idea into engaging gameplay.
- You're comfortable working independently and figuring things out without a detailed brief.
- You care about the performance of your creatives, not just delivering the final result.
- You're constantly learning and looking for ways to improve your skills and workflow.
- You use AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and other GenAI tools in your work.
- You play and love video games.
- Experience with Cocos, Unity, Niagara, or programming languages would be a plus.
Why Scorewarrior?
- Work with a product you love: Total Battle is more than just a job; it's a passion project.
- Join a highly skilled team: We're a nerdy group of talented individuals who love what we do.
- Make a real impact: Your work will directly contribute to bringing new players into Total Battle and getting us closer to that number-one app store spot.
- Stability: Start working with a stable three-year contract with the potential to extend it to infinity and beyond.
- An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
- Full-coverage relocation for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
- Private health insurance for you and your family members.
- A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
- Lunch compensation.
- A sports and fitness allowance.
- Personal development opportunities paid for by the company: professional and language courses, books, etc.
- Bonuses for outstanding results, years worked, getting married, and the birth of a child.
- Monthly office parties and epic annual offsite company birthday and Christmas parties.

Are you comfortable navigating complex software systems, working with coding agents, and defining what makes developer tools actually useful? Do you want to shape how developers and AI work together inside IDEs?
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
Agentic development is changing how software gets built. Developers no longer just chat with AI – they delegate tasks, run parallel agent sessions, and steer autonomous changes. As agents take on more work, reviewing and owning the output is becoming the hardest part of the process.
JetBrains Air is our open system for agentic development. It brings tools like Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude Agent, Gemini, and Junie directly into JetBrains IDEs, providing an agentic-first user experience.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead key areas of Air. You’ll take ownership of high-impact workflows, work closely with cross-functional teams (including software engineers, designers, ML researchers, analysts, DevRel, and product marketing), and turn technical complexity into clear product direction.
Day to day, you will:
Take end-to-end ownership of key parts of Air in JetBrains IDEs, driving work from problem framing and discovery to delivery, adoption, and iteration.
Define and refine core agentic workflows, including task delegation, session monitoring, steering, and code review.
Model complex user flows, system states, permissions, and integration schemes to guide engineering and design decisions.
Maintain a transparent roadmap that balances quick improvements with long-term strategic investments.
Define telemetry, design experiments, analyze product data, and make evidence-based roadmap decisions.
Study how developers interact with leading AI agents and tools to inform product priorities.
Engage with the Agent Client Protocol (ACP) ecosystem and collaborate with partners building on it.
Partner with enterprise sales and support teams to address governance, privacy, and control requirements.
What you’ll bring
A systems-thinking mindset that easily breaks down complex architectures, workflows, and dependencies.
A data-driven approach to product decisions, including hands-on experience querying and analyzing telemetry.
Active personal experience using coding agents and clear perspectives on where current AI tools succeed and fail.
Strong product intuition for complex technical user experiences and developer workflows.
Clear, concise, and collaborative communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply and build alignment across diverse groups of stakeholders.
Comfort navigating fast-changing technical landscapes with high ambiguity.
What you’ll need
Proven experience shipping end-user products as a product manager or in a similar role.
Strong technical grounding in software development workflows, including IDEs, git, code review, CI/CD, and package management.
A hands-on technical background sufficient to collaborate closely with software and ML engineers.
An understanding of core AI and agent concepts, including tool use, protocols (MCP/ACP), context retrieval, evaluations, and latency/cost trade-offs.
The ability to write SQL or Python to analyze product metrics and experiment results independently.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
What success looks like
In your first 6 to 12 months, success in this role means:
Driving measurable growth in active Air users and improving weekly/monthly retention (D7/D30).
Increasing agent session completion rates and the proportion of agent-generated changes accepted by developers.
Establishing clear, telemetry-backed decisions across your product roadmap areas.
Delivering validated product hypotheses consistently each quarter.
Contributing directly to JetBrains AI revenue growth and overall IDE value.
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary – We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work schedule – Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
Extra time off – More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
Learning and development opportunities – Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
Free meals and snacks – Lunch and refreshments provided to keep you fueled.
Health and wellness – On-site gyms or sports club stipends.
Internal events – Company-wide celebrations and team gatherings.

Requirements
We're looking for a Senio/Staff-level engineer with an open mind and a builder's instinct - someone who goes beyond executing tasks and is ready to own the High-Performance practice end-to-end: establish engineering processes, drive R&D, evaluate and champion new technologies, and lead their adoption in production.
The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between business requirements for low latency and high throughput and the realities of existing infrastructure - translating "we need to be faster" into an actionable technical roadmap. You bring a fresh perspective, know how to organize the work, and are equally comfortable optimizing a hardware parameter and presenting a strategy to stakeholders.
We expect 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer in performance-critical environments - and the maturity to grow yourself and grow a team around you.
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time OS configurations, cgroups, CPU isolation, memory management, and low-level network stack configuration.
Hardware Internals:
Deep understanding of CPU power and performance states (C/P-states), Hyper-Threading / SMT trade-offs, TX/RX ring configuration, and the full data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU. Ability to reason about and tune each stage of that path under production load.
Networking & TCP Internals:
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP — congestion control, ACK behavior, buffer tuning, and protocol-level latency sources. Strong Linux networking fundamentals: low-latency NIC configuration, bypass networking technologies (DPDK, RDMA), and market connectivity (multicast feeds, co-location networks, VPNs).
Performance Engineering:
Practical experience profiling latency-sensitive systems; familiarity with tools such as perf, flamegraph, strace, tcpdump, eBPF, and hardware performance counters.
Containerization:
Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including low-overhead deployment patterns and performance trade-offs of containerized workloads.
IaC:
Proven track record with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Monitoring:
Hands-on experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and alerting (P99, jitter, throughput KPIs).
Scripting:
Solid scripting in Bash and Python; Golang is a strong plus given its role in systems tooling.
CI/CD & Secret Management:
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines with experience integrating performance validation stages; familiarity with Vault for secrets management.
Security:
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and Kubernetes security policies.
Key Performance Metrics You'll Work With
Latency Distribution
- P99 / P99.9 across the tick-to-trade path, using hardware-level timestamps (NIC/PTP).
Jitter
- variance between min/max latency, measured over large sample sets in live market conditions.
Throughput
- messages per second (orders + cancels) under exchange burst scenarios.
System Reliability
- сontinuous monitoring of uptime
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Hands-on experience with kernel-level optimization: syscall reduction, network stack bypass (DPDK, RDMA, Solarflare OpenOnload).
Background in HFT, algorithmic trading, or other ultra-low-latency production environments.
Experience with hardware timestamping, PTP/IEEE 1588, and precision time synchronization.
Familiarity with colocation operations and exchange connectivity (cross-connects, proximity hosting).
Proven SRE track record with formal SLO/error budget frameworks in latency-sensitive contexts.
DevSecOps: vulnerability scanning, Zero Trust, RBAC, and secure delivery pipelines.
Understanding of business processes in FinTech, crypto, or electronic trading.
Responsibilities
Low-Latency Infrastructure Ownership:
Design, deploy, and continuously optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive trading systems — market data handlers, order/deal gateways, and risk check engines. Own the full stack from bare metal to application delivery. Define and maintain a reference architecture for low-latency connectivity when onboarding new trading venues, including reproducible configuration baselines, validation procedures, and performance acceptance criteria — so every new venue goes live on a proven, optimized stack.
Cloud & Hybrid Network Connectivity:
Design, implement, and maintain complex low-latency network solutions for cloud provider interconnects - including cross-connects and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute links between cloud regions, hybrid on-premise/cloud topologies, and high-throughput inter-server fabrics. Ensure both latency minimization and fault tolerance at every layer: physical redundancy, failover routing, and path diversity across providers and regions.
Hardware & OS Stack Tuning:
Go deep on the full hardware and OS stack - CPU pinning, C/P-states, HT/SMT configuration, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, TX/RX ring sizing, NIC offloading, and network stack bypass (DPDK/RDMA where applicable). Understand the complete data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU - and optimize every hop.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate provisioning and configuration of high-performance environments using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm - with performance reproducibility as a first-class requirement.
Latency Profiling & Benchmarking:
Systematically profile and debug latency hotspots across the full execution path. Establish and maintain SLA/SLO targets; track P99/P99.9 distributions, jitter, and throughput - not just averages.
CI/CD for Performance:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that include automated latency regression testing, so performance degradations are caught before they hit production.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive latency monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana) - including hardware timestamping (NIC/PTP) and fine-grained performance telemetry.
Colocation & Network Placement:
Research, evaluate, and manage optimal server placements - colocations, cross-connects, proximity hosting. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to minimize physical and logical distance to exchanges.
High Availability & DRP:
Design systems that maintain stability and reliability under peak load while continuously pushing latency lower - zero regressions, always.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work alongside algo developers, quant teams, and network engineers to ensure trading strategies execute with minimal infrastructure overhead.
