About the Role
You'll be working with some of the biggest DTC brands in the USA, on creative work that actually moves business outcomes, with cutting-edge AI tools and workflows we've built in-house. And you'll be doing it inside one of the fastest-growing companies in U.S. performance marketing.
We're hiring Project Managers to run the day-to-day operations behind our highest-priority accounts. You'll be assigned to multiple top-tier clients and work across the workflows and work streams that keep campaigns moving and performance climbing.
This is an operational role at its core. The work spans creative and analytical territory, from research and copy to QA and reporting, and a lot of it gets done with the AI tools and proprietary systems that give our team an edge.
What You'll Actually Do
You'll be assigned to multiple high-priority accounts and run operations across them, working alongside Creative Strategists, Performance Analysts, and Influencer Leads. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and submit creative briefs for senior review.
Draft, edit, and refine advertising copy using our internal AI workflows.
Conduct competitor research and in-depth brand analysis, including review mining, Reddit and community insights, founder-led content, and other relevant sources.
Analyze top-performing scripts across our portfolio and adapt them to align with individual brand voice, positioning, and audience.
Perform quality assurance on creative outputs to ensure alignment with briefs, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
Review raw content and footage to identify high-potential clips for editing and production.
Manage day-to-day project workflows to ensure projects stay on track and are delivered on time.
Track deliverables, deadlines, owners, and blockers while maintaining clear visibility on project status.
Coordinate across creative, strategy, performance, and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Ensure deadlines, priorities, and key tasks are met, proactively identifying and preventing gaps or delays.
You'll also be expected to communicate clearly, stay highly organized, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. The goal is to keep work moving, maintain a high standard of quality, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Training
You're not expected to walk in knowing every discipline you'll touch. We invest the first two weeks in deep training on the fundamentals, including Creative Strategy and the other specialties you'll be supporting. We have proprietary courses, frameworks, and SOPs. Plan to learn fast and apply faster.
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a similarly detailed cross-functional role. You're obsessive about quality—the kind of person who notices the typo, the off-brand color, or the script that doesn't quite hit.
You're comfortable working with both data and creative, and you don't see those as separate worlds. You've used AI tools in your workflow and you're excited to use more of them. You can write clearly, read carefully, and proactively identify issues without needing to be told.
You're fluent in our stack: Asana, Google Sheets, Slack, and modern AI tools. You communicate well in writing because much of our work happens asynchronously.

About Advantage HQ
Advantage HQ sits at the intersection of performance marketing and creator-driven growth. We manage over $850M in annual media spend across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, run 80,000+ creator partnerships every month across a network of 400,000+ influencers, and use Meteoric AI, our proprietary intelligence platform, to power discovery, outreach, whitelisting, and creative decisioning at scale.
We are trusted by 200+ high-growth DTC brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and health. Our team of 100+ growth operators, analysts, and creatives drives meaningful bottom-line impact through performance creative, paid media, influencer marketing, and CRO.
Advantage HQ is not just an agency. We are a scalable growth platform with a proven track record, and a culture built for A-players.
The Role
We are hiring a Strategic Projects Lead to work directly with the Founder and own the company's highest-priority initiatives. You will take ambiguous, high-stakes problems, turn them into clear plans, and drive them to completion across teams, from scoping and research to execution and review.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations. You are the Founder's force multiplier: the person who protects their time, sharpens their decisions, and makes sure what they set in motion actually ships. You think like an owner, you move fast, and you are comfortable operating with limited direction.
You are structured and analytical in equal measure. You turn a loose idea into a clear brief, use data to pressure-test it, and keep a fast-moving organization aligned on what matters most.
What You Will Own
Strategic project delivery.
Own cross-functional initiatives from the Founder's agenda end to end. Define objectives, owners, timelines and success metrics, then drive them through to completion.
Founder operating rhythm.
Run the Office of the Founder: weekly priorities, meeting agendas, follow-ups, decision logs and the cadence that keeps leadership aligned.
Research and analysis.
Run market scans, competitive reviews, process audits and financial analysis that inform strategic decisions, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
Communication and briefings.
Prepare briefing materials, board and investor updates, and internal communications. Speak on the Founder's behalf with teams and partners, with clarity and conviction.
Risk and blocker removal.
Spot risks and opportunities early. Bring solutions, not just problems, and clear the obstacles that slow teams down.
Systems and playbooks.
Build repeatable systems, playbooks and dashboards so initiatives run without constant oversight.
AI fluency.
Use AI as a core part of your workflow, from research and analysis to automation of recurring work.
What We Are Looking For
You have spent [3-6+] years in strategy, consulting, operations, chief-of-staff or startup roles. You know what it means to context-switch fast across projects without losing the thread on any of them.
You have led complex, cross-functional projects to completion, and the work had a measurable effect on the business. You can point to it specifically and explain exactly what you did to make it happen.
You are analytical. You can take messy information, pull out what matters, and turn it into a decision or a plan. Spreadsheets, dashboards and basic financial modeling are second nature.
You are a strong writer and communicator. You write clear briefs, give honest feedback, and present your thinking to leaders with clarity and confidence.
You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities. You hold a high bar for quality, handle sensitive information with discretion, and stand your ground respectfully when you disagree.
Nice to Have
Experience in a founder-led, high-growth or agency environment
Experience in performance marketing, DTC or creator-driven businesses
Experience building automations or AI-assisted workflows
Comfort in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Location
Fully remote. We have built the infrastructure for high-performance distributed teams and trust our people to do their best work from wherever they work best.
