Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
We're building something from the ground up: a high-growth China export advertising business with real ambition and an open runway. We're looking for a driven commercial leader — with strong GCR (Greater China Region) agency market knowledge — who's ready to own the strategy, build agency relationships, and grow a business in one of the most exciting cross-border digital advertising markets today.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to maintain the status quo. It's for someone who wants ownership, enjoys building from zero to one, and is excited by the opportunity to create something with lasting impact.
You'll be shaping the go-to-market from scratch and translating China outbound advertising ambitions into measurable results across global platforms. If you want to build rather than manage, this is the role.
What You Will Do
Lead the Business
Own the China Export agency strategy, manage pipeline, forecast with precision, and close gaps fast.
Communicate progress clearly to regional and global stakeholders with structured, data-informed updates.
Drive Agency Relationships
Serve as the primary senior point of contact for GCR holding companies and export-focused agencies.
Build senior relationships with Investment Directors, Business Directors, and Group Heads. Align on joint business plans and drive partner accountability.
Develop acquisition, activation, and retention programs for agencies and clients.
Lead executive business reviews, agency roadshows, and education sessions to embed the platform into agency planning cycles.
Develop the Market
Define and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting China outbound advertisers across travel, luxury, consumer electronics, gaming, and e-commerce.
Identify whitespace within agency holding groups, activating new teams, trading desks, and specialist export units.
Drive pipeline through advertiser-specific proposals, audience strategies, and campaign frameworks for international markets.
Represent the business at local marketing and partner events; translate market intelligence into strategic decisions.
What We Are Looking For
7–10 years in digital media sales, agency partnerships, or sales leadership, with a track record of building revenue rather than just managing it.
Deep fluency in the GCR agency landscape: how China export budgets are planned, allocated, and traded through holding groups.
Proven senior-level relationship management experience. Comfortable in the boardroom and effective at working level.
Data-driven and operationally sharp: uses analytics to set goals, diagnose problems, and prioritize action.
Experience leading or coaching teams, setting high standards and bringing people along.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
Familiar with programmatic advertising, trading desks, and agency investment processes.
A self-starter who sets their own bar, thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and doesn't wait for permission.
Comfortable with regular travel across Hong Kong and mainland China.
Nice to Have
Experience with audio, streaming, or entertainment advertising platforms.
Familiarity with cross-border or multi-market campaigns for China-origin advertisers.
Proficiency with Salesforce, or similar sales productivity/CRM tools.
Where You'll Be
Based in Hong Kong, with regular travel across Hong Kong and mainland China, and periodic collaboration with global teams. Hybrid working model.
Why Join Aleph?
Build, don't just manage:
This is a true zero-to-one mandate — you'll design the go-to-market strategy and sales motion for one of the fastest-growing corridors in cross-border digital advertising.
High-visibility impact:
Your work will directly shape how global platforms capture China outbound ad spend, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders across GCR agency holding groups and Aleph's global leadership.
Ownership culture:
Aleph gives commercial leaders real autonomy — you set the strategy, own the roadmap, and are trusted to move fast.
Growth market, growth career:
China's outbound advertising ecosystem across travel, luxury, gaming, and e-commerce is expanding rapidly — this role offers a front-row seat and a path to scale a business as it grows.
Global platform, local expertise:
You'll operate at the intersection of world-class advertising platforms and deep GCR market knowledge, working alongside a team that values data-driven thinking and hands-on relationship building.
Why Join Us?
Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents. We support each other, creating an environment of giving and receiving. We value partnership and communication because we believe it takes a group of people to achieve great things. We are energized by our ever-changing industry, our curiosity keeps us learning and seeking out new opportunities.
We stay flexible and adaptable, and believe in moving with the speed of change. We encourage everyone to strive for more, providing our internal talent with growth opportunities and the ability to learn together.

ABOUT MATTER LABS
Matter Labs builds private settlement infrastructure that lets regulated institutions settle directly with each other without exposing data, ceding control, or waiting days. Global finance moves $4 quadrillion a year on systems designed for paper and telex. The institutions that built them - from clearing houses to exchanges to the world's largest banks, institutions are now actively replacing them.
Our core product, Prividium, gives each institution its own private settlement environment (a Prividium Zone) with independent governance and built-in interoperability across counterparties, asset classes, and jurisdictions. Settlement happens through zero-knowledge proofs: one party proves a transaction is valid without revealing any underlying data to the counterparty. The only private settlement infrastructure built on zero-knowledge cryptography.
Founded in 2018. Backed by a16z and Union Square Ventures. A fully remote team of around 70 with eight years of production zero-knowledge infrastructure behind us, now pointed at the biggest problem in institutional finance.
THE ROLE
You will protect ZKsync's core: smart contracts, ZK circuits, and blockchain nodes. Your reviews, threat models, and incident work decide whether vulnerabilities are found by us or by attackers. The role owns internal security reviews of critical components, threat modeling, adversary research, and the security side of incident response, and it carries broad license to spot gaps and fix them beyond any assigned list. It is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who wants to know how things break and applies that instinct ethically where the stakes are high.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Break things on purpose. Threat-model and review Solidity contracts, blockchain state transition functions in Rust, and other critical systems before an attacker gets the chance.
- Own protocol components. Take responsibility for the secure architecture and implementation of the components you adopt, from design review through production.
- Track the adversary. Follow hacks, exploits, and new attack vectors across the industry and convert the lessons into concrete improvements in our systems.
- Scale security through others. Embed secure-design practice across development teams and influence architecture decisions early, without formal authority.
- Use AI on defense. Apply modern AI systems to scale security work, while accounting for attackers using the same tools.
- Respond when it counts. Join security investigations and incident response, often under time pressure with incomplete information.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Each of these is a demonstrated capability, shown through work you have done:
- A record in security engineering or security research: threat modeling, security-focused code review, or vulnerability research on production systems, with findings you can walk through mechanism by mechanism.
- Proficiency in strongly typed languages such as C++, Go, or Scala. Rust and Solidity are our primary languages, and prior experience with them is not required.
- Deep grounding in algorithms and data structures, including their computational and memory complexity, with experience implementing them from scratch.
- Protocol-level debugging and root-cause analysis on complex distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of recent security incidents in the blockchain space and the prevention techniques behind them.
- Clear written and spoken English, the company's working language.
If you meet most of these and believe you can do this job, apply anyway.
NICE TO HAVE
Hands-on experience with Solidity smart contracts, ZK circuits, or core blockchain protocols. Public security research, audit reports, bug-bounty results, or CTF history all count as evidence.
WORK MODEL & PAY
- Competitive base salary. Matter Labs applies no geographic pay discounts.
- Performance-based variable compensation with a defined annual target is additional. The plan may pay in ZK tokens or cash. A long-term token incentive is also additional and is paid in ZK tokens, with new-hire grants vesting over four years and a one-year cliff.
- Fully Remote. Occasional travel to team gatherings and industry events.
- Freedom & ownership culture: no time tracking (where legally applicable), minimum bureaucracy-only results matter.

Location: Yerevan, Armenia
We are looking for a
Cinematic AI Creator (Contractor)
: a filmmaker who works in generative models rather than with a crew.
You will produce the cinematic work that demonstrates what our AI can do, including multi-shot sequences, launch films, campaign pieces, and genre and style showcases. You will also translate film craft into product. The camera language, lighting setups, film stocks, genre looks and transitions you work with are what our cinematic video features need to offer users. You will define those cinematic directions for the team to productise, and set the quality bar for the video work we ship. You will work closely with Product, Creative and Engineering, and will be among the first to test each new video model we get access to.
Please note that this is a Full-time Contractor (6 months) role.
How You'll Make an Impact
Direct and produce cinematic AI content end to end: concept, story, shot list, generation, edit, sound and final delivery.
Build multi-shot sequences with consistent characters, wardrobe, world, lighting and geography across cuts.
Design each shot deliberately: lens, framing, blocking, lighting, colour and grade, and camera movement.
Create the hero shots and set pieces that anchor a launch, and the showcases that demonstrate stylistic range.
Define cinematic directions, including camera moves, lighting setups, film stocks, genre looks, transitions and VFX beats, specified clearly enough to be productised.
Prototype new cinematic capabilities and prove what is possible before it becomes a feature.
Set and document the quality bar for the video work we ship.
Test each new video model on release, reporting on strengths, failure modes, prompt behaviour, motion quality and temporal consistency, and track where AI filmmaking is going.
What You'll Bring
A body of work:
film, series or episodic work, commercials, music videos, short films, branded or short-form content; whatever best shows your craft, alongside AI-native work.
Deep understanding of visual storytelling: story structure, plot, pacing, shot design, blocking, performance and the edit.
Command of cinematography fundamentals (cameras, lenses, lighting, colour, grading, composition and camera movement), and the vocabulary to direct them precisely in a prompt.
Hands-on experience with generative video models and how they behave in practice, and with the image models that feed them.
Prompting skill for video: motion description, camera control, identity and style preservation, and first/last-frame and reference-driven workflows.
End-to-end post capability in editing, grading and sound, and the ability to run a full production cycle alone.
Awareness of internet culture and what makes cinematic content travel.
The judgement to hold a quality bar, including on your own work.
Fluency in English.
Good To Have
Background in VFX, animation, motion design, concept art or 3D (Blender, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal).
Experience directing hybrid productions that combine live footage with generative work.
ComfyUI or node-based video pipelines, and LoRA or character-consistency training.
Interest in shaping AI creative tools rather than only using them.
A public presence as an AI filmmaker or creator.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is shaping the future of Go-To-Market, and as a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll bring that future to life by building alongside customers and turning their biggest challenges into measurable outcomes. As a customer-facing, quota-carrying SC, you’ll bring together technical fluency and commercial ownership to grow your book of business. You’ll build pipeline with BDRs, engage key stakeholders, lead discovery, co-build workflow solutions live with customers, and guide opportunities through close. You’ll connect each solution to a clear business case and stay engaged through adoption, expansion, and renewal so customers realize the value of what they buy.
You’ll partner with BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists while maintaining clear ownership of customer relationships, opportunity momentum, and next steps. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- Create pipeline across your book of business. Build target-account plans with BDRs and initiate outreach to priority stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline.
- Own opportunities from first conversation through close. Lead discovery, qualify business needs and urgency, align stakeholders, shape the solution and business case, and drive the evaluation and commercial decision. Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path.
- Design and validate workflow solutions that deliver measurable value. Map current- and future-state workflows, co-build solutions live in Notion, and define realistic scope, success criteria, and an implementation path. Translate customer needs and validated outcomes into a clear business case, commercial recommendation, and decision path. Treat discovery as an opportunity to build and validate.
- Orchestrate the right partners while maintaining ownership. Engage BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists at the right moments, with clear context and asks, while owning opportunity momentum, customer communication, and next steps.
- Drive customer value and commercial growth after signature. Partner with Outcomes Architects, guide the initial path to value with a clear adoption plan, on onboarding and ongoing multi-workflow adoption, and own expansion strategy and renewal planning. Stay accountable for translating credits sold into credits consumed, and surface risks or expansion opportunities as customer workflows mature.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Mid-market sales experience. You have experience selling technical products to technical buyers at mid-market organizations (500–2,999 employees).
- Commercial ownership and pipeline generation. You can demonstrate how you created or advanced business, influenced customer decisions, and owned measurable outcomes. Relevant experience may come from quota-carrying sales or adjacent customer-facing roles.
- Technical fluency and builder mindset. You are comfortable building live in software and can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot with a customer without needing a specialist in the room.
- AI fluency. You are excited about AI, build with new tools, and continually learn new ways of working.
- Discovery, qualification, and value articulation. You can uncover customer needs, map workflows, qualify business impact and urgency, and translate what you learn into commercial outcomes, adoption plans, and clear success criteria.
- Agency, urgency, and learning velocity. You set clear goals, take initiative, learn from customer interactions, and apply those learnings to improve outcomes. You bring new ideas and workflows to customers and make complex problems easier to solve.
- Complex customer engagement. You can lead multi-stakeholder interactions and navigate procurement, legal, and security review cycles.
- Native or bilingual-level Korean fluency and business-level English proficiency
NICE TO HAVES
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
- Prior experience selling to mid-market accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or Customer Success team as part of an integrated customer motion.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.

Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Sales Recruiter you’ll help build the next evolution of our go-to-market organization. You’ll recruit for new and evolving customer-facing roles—including Business Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects, and Forward Deployed Engineers—that bring stronger technical fluency, deeper customer ownership, and fewer handoffs to enterprise selling. You’ll partner with Sales leaders and cross-functional teams to turn an emerging business strategy into clear profiles, thoughtful processes, and exceptional hires.
You will use Notion every day in the same way our customers do, giving you firsthand insight into the workflows and AI transformation behind the roles you are hiring for. You will also help build a new GTM motion at the intersection of AI, workflow design, enterprise transformation, and customer outcomes. The work requires craft, clarity, speed, and strong judgment, balancing business urgency with a high bar for talent density.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Build trusted partnerships with Sales leaders, advising on role definition, search strategy, assessment design, and hiring decisions for new and evolving teams.
- Deliver high-quality hires across the next generation of GTM roles, from sourcing through close, while creating a thoughtful, inclusive, and high-touch candidate experience.
- Translate Notion’s product love, AI opportunity, and customer motion into accurate candidate narratives that help the right people self-select in.
- Use talent-market research, mapping, and recruiting data to improve hiring strategy and decision quality.
- Raise the quality and consistency of the hiring system through structured intake, calibration, debriefs, manager coaching, and sourcing strategies that expand representation.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Demonstrated success recruiting across GTM searches, with the judgment to learn and represent evolving role profiles accurately.
- Ability to turn business strategy into clear candidate profiles, search plans, and objective assessment criteria—and to influence senior leaders toward strong decisions.
- Strong sourcing, market-mapping, and closing instincts across various Sales disciplines.
- Operational rigor and comfort using data to diagnose pipeline health, measure impact, and improve the candidate and hiring-manager experience.
- Curiosity, learning agility, and a hands-on approach to AI tools: you use them to think better, improve recruiting workflows, and make your work easier for others to build on.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $136,000 - $170,000 per year.

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join the Deal Desk team within our Revenue Operations function. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the center of how we structure, price, and close business globally — partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to turn deals into signed revenue.
You will lead the quote-to-contract execution cycle for our global sales team while helping build the systems, processes, and playbooks that scale a world-class Deal Desk. As the organization continues through a period of rapid growth, we are looking for someone who wants to shape the function rather than inherit it — bringing structure to ambiguity, modernizing how deals get done, and raising the bar for commercial excellence.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Deal Desk, and is preferably based in a hybrid capacity out of our San Francisco headquarters, working standard US business hours.
What you'll do
Deal Management — Own the day-to-day deal review and closing process end to end, including deal approvals, deal structuring, and quote configuration within Vercel CPQ, ensuring every deal is executed accurately and on time.
Commercialization & Execution — Drive deal execution in close partnership with Finance, Legal, GTM, Partnerships, Product, and Pricing. Design, build, and continuously optimize the sales and deal processes that bring new pricing, packaging, and product launches to market.
Trusted Advisor — Serve as the subject-matter expert for the Sales organization, providing deal guidance and operational support. Approach complex, non-standard deals with creativity and sound judgment, developing practical solutions in ambiguous situations.
Revenue Integrity — Act as the gatekeeper of data hygiene and opportunity data, partnering with GTM and Finance on audits for revenue recognition, financial reporting, and forecasting.
Insights & Enablement — Analyze deal performance and market trends to develop new sales motions, deal levers, and training materials that increase sales velocity and reduce business risk, in partnership with the Pricing and Field Enablement teams.
Operational Excellence — Identify opportunities to streamline, enhance, and automate processes. Translate needs into clear business requirements and leverage AI and automation to scale.
What you need
4+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, quote-to-cash, contract management, or a related Revenue Operations or Sales Operations function within the technology sector.
A proven record of partnering effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams to move complex deals forward.
Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement.
A collaborative team member who consistently delivers excellent sales support.
A resourceful self-starter with strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
You think naturally about operational implications and downstream impact.
You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and operate effectively amid change and ambiguity.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (or a comparable CPQ platform)
A track record of using AI or automation to improve operational workflows.
Bonus if you
You’re located within San Francisco Bay Area (HQ). We have offices for you to help build our office culture. This role primarily works on Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are hiring an Energy Scheduling & Portfolio Lead to own energy availability across Anthropic's non-cloud data center portfolio: contracted and available energy against planned compute, and the risk to it. This one central scheduling and portfolio role holds the live view of energy availability risk and energy availability need for workload management. You will be our counterpart to the LSEs, QSEs, scheduling coordinators, and suppliers in electricity and gas markets across jurisdictions; forecasting is an instrument of that view. You schedule and manage physical energy delivery — not financial instruments — including how much gas the portfolio needs to schedule, and keep energy supply and the workload plan in step with workload and site planning, energy origination, and data center operations. ESA counterparties operate the behind-the-meter plants; you manage their performance and our exposure. This role will also build processes and structures to ultimately support asset management across our energy portfolio. You are this function's first dedicated owner and will build its models and processes from zero.
Responsibilities:
Own the live view of energy availability risk and need: contracted, available, and committed energy and capacity at each site against planned load and ramp, by month and by hour where it matters; keep it current as deals sign, sites come online, and plans change, and close gaps and use surpluses with workload and site planning and energy origination.
Be the operational counterpart to our LSEs, QSEs, scheduling coordinators, and retail and wholesale suppliers in domestic ISO/RTOs, including ERCOT, and international power markets, and manage our participation in utility and ISO market programs.
Predict and track curtailment (utility, ISO, fuel, equipment, and contract-driven) for each site, and navigate shortage pricing and reliability events: ISO scarcity pricing, emergency procedures, conservation calls, and the notification and performance obligations under each ESA, PPA, utility agreement, and market program; coordinate the load response with site operations and workload planning, and track performance, compensation, and cost.
Oversee the portfolio's contracted or tariff-based load-flexibility capability and the contribution of this capability to Anthropic's ratepayer-protection commitment: curtailment and demand-response participation, flexible-interconnection and non-firm service commitments to utilities and ISOs, and the site-level playbooks for each; work with workload planning on what the compute can actually flex, and commit only where the workload plan supports it.
For the first operating sites, manage counterparty performance and Anthropic's exposure under the ESAs: outage notices, availability guarantees, liquidated damages, dispatch coordination, and the reporting behind them. Know the ESAs and utility load agreements we sign well enough to operate their scheduling, curtailment, availability, flexibility, and ratepayer-protection terms, and partner with legal and energy origination so new agreements are operable.
Determine how much gas the portfolio needs to schedule and build the portfolio's gas scheduling strategy for gas-fired behind-the-meter supply, nominations, hub and index pricing, pipeline capacity and constraints, and work through gas-plant outages and their effect on site availability, including by building relationships with external commodity partners.
Build Anthropic's energy forecasting as an instrument of the availability-risk view: consumption per site from the workload plan, site design, and ramp, and cost against ESA and PPA terms, market and natural gas prices, as the monthly and annual outputs the team and Finance need, including exposure to index-priced volume and the inputs energy origination needs to size new supply. Supply the energy-side inputs and checks that let Finance, Accounting, and Procurement Ops reconcile invoices and settlements against ESA, PPA, and tariff terms and explain the variance; this role will collaborate heavily with energy finance but will not have primary responsibility for financial management of the energy portfolio — the physical position is yours. Track the market information that moves our position — ISO/RTO prices, scarcity and reliability conditions, gas hub prices, ancillary and capacity costs, and tariff, interconnection, and market rule changes — and reflect it in the view.
Work cross-functionally: with energy finance on the financial management of the portfolio, with data center operations on site load, flexibility, and outages, and with other internal teams — workload and site planning, engineering and design, legal, procurement — so the energy position and the physical reality of each site stay aligned. Build and own the processes, data, and tooling for all of the above; partner with engineering and site operations on metering, telemetry, and load data so the availability view, forecasts, and settlements rest on measured consumption.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 8+ years in energy markets, power scheduling, energy procurement, or utility / retail energy operations, including hands-on work with scheduling and settlement review in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, or another ISO/RTO market.
Have worked at or directly with an LSE, QSE, scheduling coordinator, retail energy provider, or load-management desk, and know day-ahead and real-time scheduling, settlements, and curtailment / demand-response programs from the inside.
Read ESAs, PPAs, and utility large-load interconnection and service agreements fluently enough to operate their scheduling, availability, curtailment, and pricing terms and to model the exposure they create.
Can predict curtailment for a large load and navigate shortage pricing and reliability events — ISO scarcity pricing, emergency procedures, conservation calls — from experience, not from the rulebook.
Understand gas scheduling — nominations, hub pricing, pipeline constraints — and have worked through gas-fired plant outages and their effect on served load.
Have designed or operated load flexibility for a large load — curtailment, demand response, non-firm or flexible interconnection — and understand the large-load tariff provisions that protect other ratepayers (minimum demand charges, cost allocation, exit and stranded-cost provisions, study and collateral requirements) and how a load operates within them.
Have built or run energy consumption and cost forecasts for large loads — data centers, industrials, or a retail / wholesale portfolio — and can tie a forecast to contract terms and market prices.
Coordinate well across teams that do not report to you — workload planning, site operations, finance, legal, origination — and can give a clear picture of where energy availability stands against need and where it is at risk.
Have stood up a scheduling, portfolio, or operations function from scratch and built the models and processes it runs on.
Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant domain (e.g., engineering, economics, energy, finance, data science) or equivalent practical experience.
It's a bonus if you have:
Experience with data center or other large, fast-ramping load in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, or another ISO/RTO market.
Experience with behind-the-meter, islanded, or bridge-power configurations and how they schedule and settle differently from grid-served load, including managing counterparty performance under an ESA or tolling agreement — availability guarantees, outage reporting, liquidated damages, dispatch coordination.
Familiarity with hedging and risk management of energy cost — fixed-price, index, shaped, and block products — and with how hedges sit against physical consumption, enough to work fluently with Finance on it.
Familiarity with natural gas markets and hub pricing, with an emphasis on physical scheduling at regional basis hubs, gas-price indices, pipeline nominations and capacity.
Experience with energy data and metering systems, interval data, and building forecasting models from them.
Exposure to the regulatory and public-affairs side of large-load service — large-load tariff proceedings, interconnection rulemakings, or utility rate cases — and to utility and ISO demand-response, curtailment, and flexible-interconnection programs.
Prior experience standing up an operations or analytics function in a growing team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
