About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The Cloud Inference team scales and optimizes Claude to serve the massive audiences of developers and enterprise companies across AWS, GCP, Azure, and future cloud service providers (CSPs). We own the end-to-end product of Claude on each cloud platform, from API integration and intelligent request routing to inference execution, capacity management, and day-to-day operations.
Our engineers are extremely high leverage: we simultaneously drive multiple major revenue streams while optimizing one of Anthropic's most precious resources: compute. As we expand to more cloud platforms, the complexity of managing inference efficiently across providers with different hardware, networking stacks, and operational models grows significantly. We need product-minded backend engineers who can navigate these platform differences, design the services and abstractions that work across providers, and make architectural decisions that keep us reliable and cost-effective at massive scale.
Your work will increase the scale at which our services operate, accelerate our ability to reliably launch new frontier models and innovative features to customers across all platforms, and ensure our LLMs meet rigorous safety, performance, and security standards.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and own backend services and infrastructure that serve Claude across multiple CSPs, accounting for differences in compute hardware, networking, APIs, and operational models
Work cross-functionally with internal inference, product API, systems, and security teams, among others, and with CSP partners to stand up the full serving stack on new cloud platforms, resolve operational issues, and influence provider roadmaps
Build and evolve CI/CD automation systems, including validation and deployment pipelines, that reliably ship new model versions to millions of users across cloud platforms without regressions
Design interfaces and tooling abstractions across CSPs that enable cost-effective inference management, scale across providers, and reduce per-platform complexity
Contribute to capacity planning, autoscaling, and workload routing strategies that match supply with demand and direct requests to the most cost-effective accelerator and region
Analyze observability data across providers to identify performance bottlenecks, cost anomalies, and regressions, and drive remediation based on real-world production workloads
Minimum qualifications
Have significant software engineering experience, with a strong background in high-performance, large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users
Have experience building or operating services on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with exposure to Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, or container orchestration
Are curious about LLM serving; prior inference or ML experience is not required
Thrive in cross-functional collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
Have experience working with external partners to align goals and deliver impact
Are a fast learner who can quickly ramp up on new technologies, hardware platforms, and provider ecosystems
Are highly autonomous and take ownership of problems end-to-end, including work that falls outside your job description
Preferred qualifications
Direct experience working with CSPs to scale infrastructure or products across multiple platforms, navigating differences in networking, security, privacy, billing, and managed service offerings
Hands-on experience with capacity management, cost optimization, or resource planning at scale across heterogeneous environments
Solid understanding of multi-region deployments, geographic routing, and global traffic management
Proficiency in Python or Rust

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Within Cloud Inference, the model & inference launch team owns the validation pipeline for our inference server and load balancer on these platforms. We're responsible for every inference change — model launches, performance improvements, safeguard integrations — landing on cloud platforms with correctness, performance, and reliability intact.
This is high-leverage infrastructure work: validation has to be fast and cheap enough to run on the same accelerators that serve customers, trustworthy enough to replace manual checks, and consistent enough that a change working on Anthropic first-party means it works everywhere. This directly determines how fast frontier models and features ship to every cloud platform, and how quickly performance wins reach production — reclaiming capacity at a time when compute is our scarcest resource.
Key responsibilities
Be on the critical path for frontier model launches, bringing up inference for new model architectures and shipping them to cloud platforms in lockstep with our first-party platform
Work with the core inference team to bring new inference features (e.g. structured sampling, prompt caching, and more) to cloud platforms, owning the platform-specific integration that gets them to production
Identify and dive deep on the gaps that make inference behave differently across first-party and CSPs — config drift, observability, deployment patterns, hard cross-platform bugs — and fix them at the source rather than building platform-specific workarounds
Design, build, and own the CI/CD infrastructure for the inference server and load balancer across cloud platforms, with shadow traffic, performance baselines (throughput and latency), and correctness checks that catch regressions before production
Drive down merge-to-production cycle time by making validation faster, more parallel, and cost-effective enough to run on the same constrained accelerator pool that serves customers, without trading away reliability
Analyze observability data across providers to identify performance bottlenecks, cost anomalies, and regressions, and drive remediation based on real-world production workloads
Minimum qualifications
Have a strong interest in LLM serving; prior inference or ML experience is not required
Have significant software engineering experience, with a strong background in high-performance, large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users
Have a track record of building automation or test infrastructure that measurably improved release velocity or reliability
Have experience building or operating services on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with exposure to Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, or container orchestration
Thrive in cross-functional collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
Are a fast learner who can quickly ramp up on new technologies, hardware platforms, and provider ecosystems
Are highly autonomous and take ownership of problems end-to-end, including work that falls outside your job description
Preferred qualifications
LLM inference optimization, batching, and caching strategies
Capacity-constrained scheduling or shared-resource test infrastructure
Solid understanding of multi-region deployments, request routing, load balancing, global traffic management
Working with CSP partner teams to scale infrastructure across multiple platforms, navigating differences in networking, security, privacy, and managed service
Proficiency in Python or Rust

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
Figma is hiring a Corporate Communications Manager to help us set a new standard for corporate communications at a public company. Successful candidates will go beyond setting strategy to help define a new model for how public companies communicate. This person will partner across the company — finance, investor relations, legal, brand, product and design — to mine and tell stories that drive conversation across audiences, formats and channels.
This role calls for range. You should be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are on X/Twitter. You’re capable of crafting campaigns around quarterly earnings and cultural moments. You can quickly learn and translate complex topics for a broader audience without dumbing it down. You embrace ambiguity, are collaborative by default, and are energized by the opportunity to build something new.
This is a full time role that can be held from our San Francisco or New York hub.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Help define and drive Figma’s corporate storytelling strategy end-to-end, from narrative development to execution across channels
Move beyond traditional PR to create integrated campaigns that cut through across media, owned platforms and executive communications
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business momentum into clear, compelling stories and campaigns
Work closely with executives to shape narratives that resonate with business and financial audiences, from briefings to thought leadership
Identify and develop breakthrough story angles that position Figma at the center of key industry, market and cultural conversations
Stay close to the news cycle and broader zeitgeist while proactively creating opportunities that put Figma ahead of it
Continue to grow your scope and influence as the company scales
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
7+ years of experience in in-house communications
A track record of building and scaling communications programs from the ground up
Strong business and cultural fluency, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, engaging narratives and pitches
Experience operating in fast-paced environments where direction isn’t always defined—and comfort creating it
Demonstrated experience crafting a point of view on storytelling that goes beyond conventional PR approaches
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
An understanding of product design, software development and/or cloud-native applications.
Experience navigating and explaining business concepts and issues with fluidity.
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

About Cantina:
Cantina Labs is a social AI company, developing a suite of advanced real-time models that push the boundaries of expression, personality, and realism. We bring characters to life, transforming how people tell stories, connect, and create. We build and power ecosystems. Cantina, our flagship social AI platform, is just the beginning.
If you're excited about the potential AI has to shape human creativity and social interactions, join us in building the future!
About the Role:
Cantina is a place where people create AI characters and the videos those characters star in, and the catalog grows far faster than anyone can browse. Search and recommendations are what turn that catalog into a product: they decide which characters a new user meets in their first minute, which creators get discovered, and what appears in every feed, leaderboard, and discovery surface we ship. We are hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to own that area end to end — retrieval, ranking, relevance quality, and the roadmap for all three. This is the first dedicated hire for search and recommendations, so you will inherit a real production system serving live traffic along with a large amount of unclaimed ground, and you will set the technical direction rather than execute someone else’s.
What you'll do:
- Own the architecture and roadmap for search and recommendations end to end — query understanding, retrieval, ranking, and the surfaces they feed: search, discovery, the home feed, and our trending and creator leaderboards.
- Make relevance a measured discipline rather than an opinion: define the quality metrics per surface, build the offline evaluation and golden-set tooling, and run the online experiments that decide whether a ranking change ships.
- Design and evolve the ranking stack — engagement signal pipelines, decay and freshness models, and the pattern we use to combine pre-computed index-time signals with live re-ranking at query time.
- Own OpenSearch in production: index and mapping design, reindex and cutover safety, query performance, cost, and the operational headroom of the clusters behind every discovery surface.
- Build candidate generation and personalization for recommendation surfaces, and partner with data and ML on the feature pipelines and models behind them.
- Work directly with Product and Trust & Safety on what “good” means for each surface — quality gates, cold-start behavior for brand-new creators and characters, and what must never be recommended.
- Set the engineering standard for the area: instrumentation, flag-gated rollouts, and runbooks that let other teams change ranking behavior without breaking it.
- Act as the technical point of contact for discovery across backend teams, and mentor the engineers whose work touches it.
What you'll bring:
- 10+ years building production software, with substantial depth in search, ranking, recommendations, or ML-driven relevance on a consumer-scale product.
- Hands-on expertise with a production search engine — OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Lucene, Vespa, or similar — covering index and analyzer design, relevance tuning, and operating the cluster, not only querying it.
- A rigorous approach to relevance measurement: you have owned offline evaluation, golden sets, and A/B or interleaving frameworks, and you can explain what moved a metric and why.
- Fluency across the recommender stack — candidate generation, feature pipelines, embedding retrieval, re-ranking — and a working understanding of the serving constraints that make an offline win fail online.
- Strong distributed systems and backend fundamentals, with production experience in Go or a comparable systems language, and comfort in the data layer behind it (SQL warehouses, streaming and batch pipelines).
- Demonstrated ownership of an ambiguous area: you have picked up something with no dedicated owner, decided what mattered, and can show the result.
- Clear written communication and the judgment to work with Product on real tradeoffs between relevance, freshness, safety, and latency.
- Preferred: experience with AI-generated or rapidly growing content catalogs, severe cold-start conditions, or ranking under trust-and-safety constraints.
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $250,000 - $320,000 (USD). When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary and generous company equity
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance – 99.99% of premiums covered by Cantina
- 42 days of paid time off, including:
- 15 PTO days
- 10 sick days
- 15 company holidays
- 2 floating holidays
- Generous parental leave & fertility support
- 401(k) retirement savings plan
- Lifestyle spending account – $500/month to use however you’d like
- Complimentary lunch and snacks for in-office employees
- One Medical membership, and more!

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
