The Mission of the Senior Software Engineer (Telemetry)
Satellite telemetry does not forgive gaps. Build the systems that make sure there are none.
ICEYE's SAR constellation generates a continuous stream of data that fleet operations depend on to function. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Fleet Automation team, you will be a key contributor to the infrastructure that makes that data usable: the pipelines, parsers, and time-series stores that translate raw satellite signals into operational state in near real-time. The scope is expanding, the ownership is real, and the engineering problems are ones you will not find anywhere else.
Who We Are
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE's near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection), and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
ICEYE operates internationally with offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, Japan, the UAE, Greece, and the US. The company has more than 900 employees, inspired by the shared vision of improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.
Expected Outcomes and Requirements
Outcomes:
- Telemetry pipelines ingest, transform, and store satellite data from across the fleet reliably and in near real-time, with minimal manual intervention
- Telemetry data stores are performant and well-maintained, including schema design, query optimisation, capacity planning, and zero-downtime production migrations
- Anomaly detection and automated recovery systems reduce operational load on the mission operations team
- TTC gateway telemetry integration is delivered as a production-grade component ready for customer deployment
- Engineering quality across the team is actively raised through code reviews, testing standards, and support of less experienced engineers
Role-specific Competences
- Strong Python proficiency in production backend systems; experience with Go or Rust is a plus
- Proven experience building and operating telemetry systems, data pipelines, and distributed systems in production
- Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and at least one time-series database such as InfluxDB or Prometheus
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-native environments, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm
- Actively uses AI and LLM tooling as part of their engineering workflow
- AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience is a plus
Key Competences
In addition to the requirements above, we evaluate candidates on these key qualities throughout the hiring process:
Intellectual Firepower: Rapidly comprehends, structures and synthesizes complex information, draws accurate conclusions, and communicates them with clarity.
Passion and Work Ethic: Brings sustained motivation, resilience, and high personal standards to every challenge.
Ownership and Action: Assumes full accountability for outcomes, acting decisively, and ensuring commitments are delivered.
Team Player: Works collaboratively across teams, contributing to shared success, and engaging in constructive debate.
Integrity and Growth Mindset: Operates with transparency and humility, learns from setbacks, and actively seeks opportunities to grow.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
We’re looking for a Staff Infrastructure Engineer with GCP, Azure, or AWS expertise to help us build a seamless, reliable platform for the dbt platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Our team’s mission is to create a seamless developers experience by providing a stable, observable, and easy-to-use infrastructure platform.
Over the past year, we’ve designed and operationalized a next-gen cell-based architecture, scaling the dbt platform across all three cloud providers. Now, we’re focused on automation, self-service, and improving developer velocity through better tooling, processes, and infrastructure design.
As an Staff engineer on our team, you’ll work on medium projects, helping to refine our platform while ensuring performance, reliability, and a great developer experience. You’ll collaborate across teams, solve real infrastructure challenges, and help shape the future of multi-cloud dbt Cloud.
What You'll Do
Design, operate, and support infrastructure systems with parity across tenancy models (single vs multi) and public clouds (AWS, Azure, and GCP) - and work with engineering teams to get their services consistently deployed to those environments
Bring cloud infrastructure expertise to the team, helping us strengthen and scale our infrastructure as we expand dbt Cloud’s multi-cloud capabilities.
Help create a great developer experience while working with our close partners in Architecture, Release Engineering, Product Engineering and Security
Leverage tools and languages such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, Helm, ArgoCD, Go, and DataDog
Design and build automation to eliminate manual toil and streamline infrastructure operations at scale
Identify and implement infrastructure optimizations that reduce cloud spend without sacrificing reliability
Participate in a balanced on-call rotation in an environment that values continuous improvement, and help to upgrade our tooling and reduce toil
Skills We're Looking For
10+ years of Experience with the clouds, tools, and languages in our stack, especially: AWS\Azure\GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and Bash
Solid experience with declarative Infrastructure as Code - ideally with Terraform or a willingness to learn while leveraging your CloudFormation or ARM\Bicep background
Love to automate tasks
Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team - and have excellent communication and writing skills
Prior experience in a multiple cloud environment
More extensive Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting background

Imunify360 Security Suite
is a product of CloudLinux Inc., the maker of the #1 OS in security and stability for hosting providers. Imunify is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention.
The mission
We protect web hosting providers and the sites running on their infrastructure through a defense-in-depth stack: web-server-layer WAF, runtime application self-protection for PHP, deep application integrations (WordPress plugins and similar), a malware scanner with cleanup capability, and network-layer firewalls and IP reputation. The pieces talk to each other, and the threat intelligence they generate at scale powers detection across the stack.
Node.js is the segment of the hosting market growing fastest, and the next layer we want to build for it is runtime protection inside the Node.js process itself. Most Node.js workloads on managed hosting today are AI-generated web apps deployed by non-technical owners who can't, won't, and shouldn't be expected to patch their own code or audit their own dependencies. We're going to defend those apps anyway — at runtime, without their cooperation, without breaking them.
You'll build that runtime protection layer end-to-end.
What you'll own
The product. A brand-new product line, yours to define — what we intercept, what we don't, what the customer-visible surface looks like.
The technical approach. Instrumentation strategy, deployment shape, programming language — all open. You'll consult with our architects but the direction is yours.
Implementation, end to end. You'll have the full tooling stack we provide — LLM subscriptions, modern dev infrastructure, the works. Use what makes you fast.
Methodology. How you build conviction in your detection logic — your call.
Cross-layer signal. Our existing stack produces threat intelligence at unmatched scale: tens of millions of monitored sites, petabyte-scale malware sample storage, real-time domain and URL reputation, IP-level attack feeds. These are available for you to plug into. Use what helps.
How we'll measure success
The product is held to four numbers: runtime overhead, false positives, false negatives, and customer-escalation volume. They reflect what hosting providers and their customers care about. Hit them well and the product runs inside a meaningful slice of the modern Node.js web.
What we're looking for
An experienced researcher or engineer who can build and iterate on a brand-new product, driving both the research and the development. The hard part of this work is knowing what's malicious, what's vulnerable, and what's just an unusual but legitimate pattern — and being right about it across the long tail of frameworks, libraries, and customer code we'll encounter in production.
Requirements
Must have:
Proven experience building and shipping a new product, security solution, major feature, or technical system from scratch.
Strong evidence of end-to-end technical ownership, from initial investigation and architecture through implementation, release, and production iteration.
Strong web application security knowledge and current knowledge of practical exploitation.
A working sense of how detection rules behave at scale — what catches attackers without flagging the long tail of legitimate code.
Ability to start as the PM, architect, lead engineer, and QA for this product. You ask for resources or help when you need them; you don't wait to be told what to do.
Comfort directing AI coding agents to high-quality output.
Nice to have:
Prior work on runtime-protection products, application firewalls, or instrumentation tooling.
Background in malware analysis or incident response.
Familiarity with managed-hosting environments.
Public security research, vulnerability disclosures, or detection rulesets you've authored.
Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and the JavaScript ecosystem.
What it's not
Not a scope-and-handoff role — you drive the work and own the outcome.
Not a "platform team will productize this later" role — you ship to real customer fleets and watch the telemetry quickly.
Not a spec-and-review role — you are hands-on every day.
Why this matters
Most managed-hosting customers are not developers. They cannot patch their apps. They cannot audit their dependencies. They will keep deploying vulnerable code from AI assistants because that's how modern web apps get built now. The textbook advice — "secure your code, audit your dependencies" — does not apply to them.
If we don't intercept exploits at runtime, nobody will. The numbers you hit on detection, performance, and false positives will materially affect how much of the modern web stays online when the next exploit class drops.

About Flosum
Flosum is a leading B2B SaaS company built 100% natively on the Salesforce platform. We help enterprises manage Salesforce DevOps, Data Migration, Backup & Archive, and Data Masking — all in one secure, compliant platform. Trusted by some of the world's largest and most complex Salesforce organizations, Flosum is bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast, with 120+ team members and a product roadmap that keeps pace with every Salesforce release.
About the Role
We're hiring a
Salesforce Technical Evangelist
— the technical face and voice of Flosum to the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of product, marketing, and community. You'll live at the front edge of the Salesforce platform: learning every new release, feature, and architectural shift, then translating it into compelling technical stories for customers, prospects, and the broader community.
You are equal parts technologist, storyteller, and community builder. If you're the person others watch on stage at Dreamin' events, whose webinars people actually attend live, and whose takes on a new Salesforce release get shared across the ecosystem — we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
Own our webinar engine.
Plan, host, and deliver a consistent cadence of technical webinars and demos that showcase Flosum solutions and Salesforce best practices — driving registrations, attendance, and pipeline.
Evangelize Flosum + Salesforce.
Position Flosum as the natural solution for Salesforce DevOps, backup, and data management through demos, talks, blog posts, videos, and social content.
Rapidly absorb and teach new technology.
Master each Salesforce release (and new Flosum product capabilities) quickly, form a sharp point of view, and communicate it to technical and executive audiences alike.
Engage our user community constantly.
Build and energize Flosum's user community through ongoing programs — office hours, AMAs, certification support, developer content, and customer advocacy.
Connect the channels.
Own the connective tissue between webinars, newsletters, and community: promote events, drive newsletter engagement, and keep every channel feeding the others.
Represent Flosum in the ecosystem.
Engage credibly and technically with the larger Salesforce community — user groups, Dreamin' events, Dreamforce, Trailblazer Community, LinkedIn, and partner ecosystems.
Partner across teams.
Work with product, marketing, sales, and customer success to surface customer stories, sharpen messaging, and turn community engagement into measurable business outcomes.
Requirements
What You Bring
3–7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (admin, developer, architect, or consultant), with genuine technical depth — you can demo, build, and go toe-to-toe with a Salesforce architect.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator, Developer, or Architect track); an active Trailhead profile is a big plus.
A proven track record of public technical communication: webinars hosted, conference talks, podcasts, video content, or a well-followed technical blog/social presence.
Strong marketing instincts — you understand audience, messaging, and distribution, and you've driven measurable results (registrations, engagement, pipeline).
Deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem: release cycles, DevOps/CI-CD concepts, data management, and the community landscape.
Self-starter energy — you build programs from zero, run them on a drumbeat, and don't wait to be told what to create.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Why Flosum
Bootstrapped and profitable — we answer to customers, not investors
High-visibility role with direct access to the CEO and product leadership
A front-row seat to Dreamforce, Salesforce World Tours, and the global ecosystem
Competitive compensation, benefits, and the freedom to build your personal brand alongside ours
