About Advantage HQ
Advantage HQ sits at the intersection of performance marketing and creator-driven growth. We manage over $850M in annual media spend across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, run 80,000+ creator partnerships every month across a network of 400,000+ influencers, and use Meteoric AI, our proprietary intelligence platform, to power discovery, outreach, whitelisting, and creative decisioning at scale.
We are trusted by 200+ high-growth DTC brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and health. Our team of 100+ growth operators, analysts, and creatives drives meaningful bottom-line impact through performance creative, paid media, influencer marketing, and CRO.
Advantage HQ is not just an agency. We are a scalable growth platform with a proven track record, and a culture built for A-players.
The Role
We are hiring a Strategic Projects Lead to work directly with the Founder and own the company's highest-priority initiatives. You will take ambiguous, high-stakes problems, turn them into clear plans, and drive them to completion across teams, from scoping and research to execution and review.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations. You are the Founder's force multiplier: the person who protects their time, sharpens their decisions, and makes sure what they set in motion actually ships. You think like an owner, you move fast, and you are comfortable operating with limited direction.
You are structured and analytical in equal measure. You turn a loose idea into a clear brief, use data to pressure-test it, and keep a fast-moving organization aligned on what matters most.
What You Will Own
Strategic project delivery.
Own cross-functional initiatives from the Founder's agenda end to end. Define objectives, owners, timelines and success metrics, then drive them through to completion.
Founder operating rhythm.
Run the Office of the Founder: weekly priorities, meeting agendas, follow-ups, decision logs and the cadence that keeps leadership aligned.
Research and analysis.
Run market scans, competitive reviews, process audits and financial analysis that inform strategic decisions, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
Communication and briefings.
Prepare briefing materials, board and investor updates, and internal communications. Speak on the Founder's behalf with teams and partners, with clarity and conviction.
Risk and blocker removal.
Spot risks and opportunities early. Bring solutions, not just problems, and clear the obstacles that slow teams down.
Systems and playbooks.
Build repeatable systems, playbooks and dashboards so initiatives run without constant oversight.
AI fluency.
Use AI as a core part of your workflow, from research and analysis to automation of recurring work.
What We Are Looking For
You have spent [3-6+] years in strategy, consulting, operations, chief-of-staff or startup roles. You know what it means to context-switch fast across projects without losing the thread on any of them.
You have led complex, cross-functional projects to completion, and the work had a measurable effect on the business. You can point to it specifically and explain exactly what you did to make it happen.
You are analytical. You can take messy information, pull out what matters, and turn it into a decision or a plan. Spreadsheets, dashboards and basic financial modeling are second nature.
You are a strong writer and communicator. You write clear briefs, give honest feedback, and present your thinking to leaders with clarity and confidence.
You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities. You hold a high bar for quality, handle sensitive information with discretion, and stand your ground respectfully when you disagree.
Nice to Have
Experience in a founder-led, high-growth or agency environment
Experience in performance marketing, DTC or creator-driven businesses
Experience building automations or AI-assisted workflows
Comfort in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Location
Fully remote. We have built the infrastructure for high-performance distributed teams and trust our people to do their best work from wherever they work best.

You are organized and analytical in equal measure. You use data and team feedback to find bottlenecks, and you build systems that raise output without adding friction.

You have delivered operational projects with measurable results, such as time saved, cost reduced or output increased. You can point to them specifically and explain what you did to make them happen.
You are strong at process design. You can map a workflow, find where it breaks, and document a better one that people follow.
You are analytical. You can work with data, track KPIs and turn reporting into action. Spreadsheets and project management tools are second nature.
You are a clear communicator who works well with leadership and individual contributors alike, gives direct feedback, and keeps stakeholders informed.
You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You stay organized and proactive, and you keep teams moving when priorities shift.
Nice to Have

Experience building operations from scratch in a startup or scaling company
Experience with workflow automation or AI tools
Comfort in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Who We Are
Advantage HQ is a tech-enabled growth firm helping leading brands scale profitably and predictably. We combine full-service performance marketing with proprietary tech, including:
• A creator marketplace managing over 80,000 influencer partnerships monthly
• An AI-powered platform to streamline discovery, outreach, and whitelisting
• Proven playbooks in influencer marketing, paid media, performance creative, and CRO
We’re trusted by 200+ high-growth DTC brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and health. Our team of 100+ growth operators, analysts, and creatives manages over $500M in annual media spend and drives meaningful bottom-line impact for our partners.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Growth who has been deep in the trenches of aggressive paid media scaling and knows what it actually takes to push Meta spend efficiently at volume. You understand how Meta's algorithm responds to creative velocity, cost control architecture, audience structure, and budget scaling - and you can translate that understanding into compounding, durable growth across a portfolio of DTC clients.
You will own growth strategy across a book of business, lead a team of paid media analysts and creative strategists, and be the senior voice in the room when clients need someone who can look at an account and see not just what is happening, but what needs to happen next to unlock the next level of scale.
What You Will Own
Aggressive, efficient Meta scaling
- scaling to six figures per day when the unit economics support it. You know the difference between scaling because the data says go and scaling because a client asked you to. You never confuse the two.
Full-funnel paid media strategy
across Meta, Google, and TikTok - with a clear hierarchy of where to push and where to protect margin. You can diagnose performance issues at the level of creative, audience, offer, landing page, or checkout - and you know which one to fix first.
Creative strategy leadership
alongside our creative team. You understand that at scale, creative is the primary lever, and you have a strong point of view on what makes a winning concept before the data comes back.
Senior client relationships
across a portfolio of high-growth DTC brands. You can walk a skeptical founder through a reset strategy, defend a scaling decision with data, and manage the tension between short-term efficiency and long-term growth - without losing the client's trust.
Team development
- building junior analysts and strategists into strong, independent operators.
What We Are Looking For
Demonstrable track record of scaling Meta accounts beyond $100k/day. You can walk through exactly how you did it, what broke, and how you fixed it.
6–10 years in paid digital advertising, with a meaningful portion managing large Meta budgets for DTC e-commerce brands.
Deep structural understanding of Meta's algorithm - creative fatigue, cost control interactions, audience saturation, CPM dynamics, and campaign architecture that gives the algorithm what it needs to spend efficiently at scale.
Analytically rigorous without being paralyzed by data. You make decisions, move fast, and take accountability for outcomes.
Clear, direct communicator - with clients, leadership, and your team, especially when the news isn't what they want to hear.
Compensation & Location
$150,000 – $300,000 USD

About Advantage HQ
Advantage HQ is building the next generation of creator-led growth infrastructure for consumer brands.
We combine creative strategy, creator partnerships, performance content, whitelisting, affiliate distribution, paid media, and proprietary technology into one integrated growth system.
Our team manages more than $850 million in annual media spend and works with a network of more than 400,000 creators across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Through Meteoric AI, our proprietary intelligence platform, we use data and AI to improve decision-making across creative production, creator selection, customer acquisition, campaign performance, and brand growth.
We work with ambitious consumer brands across health, wellness, beauty, nutrition, personal care, and lifestyle.
The Opportunity
Advantage HQ is looking for a Senior Media Buyer who can take ownership of growth across a portfolio of e-commerce clients.
This is a strategic, client-facing role. You will be responsible for understanding each client's business, developing the paid media strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and working with Media Analysts, Creative Strategists, and other internal teams to turn that strategy into measurable results.
You will be expected to think beyond campaign metrics. The strongest Senior Media Buyers understand how media connects to the broader customer journey, creative, offers, funnel performance, and business economics.
You will have significant ownership over your clients and will be expected to bring recommendations, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities before the client has to ask.
What You'll Own
Own the paid media strategy
You will develop and lead paid media strategies across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant channels.
You will determine where to allocate budget, how to structure campaigns, which audiences and creative angles to prioritize, and where additional investment can create profitable growth.
You will balance short-term performance with the longer-term goal of building a scalable acquisition engine.
Drive account performance
You will work closely with Media Analysts to monitor performance, identify trends, diagnose problems, and make decisions that improve efficiency and growth.
You will be accountable for understanding the reasons behind performance changes, not simply reporting what happened.
You will know when to scale, when to test, when to pull back, and when the problem sits outside the media account itself.
Think beyond the media account
You will analyze the broader customer journey and identify opportunities across the funnel.
This may include landing pages, conversion rates, offers, pricing, checkout experience, creative, customer retention, and post-purchase behavior.
You will work with cross-functional teams to turn these insights into practical recommendations for clients.
Lead testing and experimentation
You will develop a structured testing roadmap across audiences, creative, offers, messaging, campaign structures, and other growth levers.
You will evaluate test results based on business impact and use those learnings to inform future strategy.
You will avoid testing for the sake of activity and focus on experiments that can meaningfully improve performance.
Partner with Creative
You will work closely with Creative Strategists to identify creative opportunities based on media performance, customer behavior, and market insights.
You will help translate performance data into clear creative briefs and recommendations and use creative performance to inform future media strategy.
Own client relationships
You will serve as a strategic partner to your clients, building relationships based on trust, expertise, and results.
You will lead strategic conversations, present performance insights, explain recommendations clearly, and help clients understand the decisions behind the strategy.
You will be comfortable challenging a client's assumptions when the data supports a different direction.
Identify growth opportunities
You will continuously look for opportunities to increase client growth and account value.
This could include new channels, new audiences, new offers, creative opportunities, funnel improvements, or changes to the broader acquisition strategy.
You are expected to bring ideas to the table rather than waiting for direction.
Who You Are
You are an experienced performance marketer who understands e-commerce from the perspective of both media and business growth.
You can look at an account and understand not only what the numbers are saying, but what they mean and what should happen next.
You are strategic enough to lead client conversations but hands-on enough to understand campaign mechanics and challenge the details when necessary.
You are commercially minded. You understand that a strong media account is not defined by a good CTR or low CPA alone. You care about profitable growth, customer economics, conversion, retention, and the client's broader business objectives.
You are comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership of your accounts. You do not wait for someone else to identify the next opportunity.
You use data, technology, and AI to improve the speed and quality of your decision-making.
Experience We Value
6+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, growth marketing, or a related field
Significant experience managing e-commerce clients is required
Strong hands-on experience with Meta, Google, and TikTok, with additional platform experience such as Snapchat or X being valuable
Experience managing significant advertising budgets
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute paid media strategies that drive measurable business growth
Strong understanding of funnel performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition economics, and e-commerce metrics
Experience with creative testing, offer testing, and landing page or funnel optimization
Experience working closely with Creative, Analytics, Growth, or other cross-functional teams
Strong client-facing and presentation skills
Experience creating and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Why Join Advantage HQ
You will work with ambitious consumer brands and have the opportunity to influence growth beyond the boundaries of a traditional media buying role.
You will have access to experienced media, creative, growth, and technology teams, as well as proprietary data and tools such as Meteoric AI.
You will have meaningful ownership over your clients and the opportunity to test new ideas, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies across the broader customer acquisition system.
For the right person, this role can also provide a path into media leadership, strategy, or broader growth responsibilities.
Compensation & Location
$30,000 - $70,000 USD total annual compensation, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity.
Fully remote. We have built the infrastructure for high-performance distributed teams and trust our people to do their best work from wherever they work best.
We are open to candidates globally.
We care far more about ownership, judgment, and execution than geography.
If you're excited by owning e-commerce growth, developing high-impact media strategies, solving complex performance challenges, and becoming a strategic partner to ambitious consumer brands, we'd love to hear from you.
