ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Technical Consultants are on the frontlines working to establish partnerships with Ramp customers, and act as a liaison between customers and our internal technical teams. You’ll be partnering with Customer Activation & Account Management teams to identify, prioritize and build financial solutions for new and existing customers so that Ramp continues to scale with their needs.
You will act as the technical and financial subject matter expert for our customers, and design solutions that address the customer’s needs through Ramp and partner integrations. You will partner with Post-Sales teams to drive Product, Design and Engineering teams’ roadmaps to evolve Ramp to better serve our customers at scale and offer increasingly higher value to the customers.
You will define the customer’s financial & technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion. You will represent Product, Design and Engineering externally and will operate with deep conviction and understanding of Ramp’s technical capabilities. The role requires technical skills necessary to understand and educate on robust accounting features, and integrate them across all the touchpoints and surface area of a customer.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s internal teams while supporting high-value implementations and expansion opportunities by guiding integration, configuration, and system design
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions; particularly involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams (not run them), ensuring faster time-to-value and customer success
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations for each customer with a deep understanding of the full range of integration and configuration options
- Participate in technical discovery to understand customer systems and workflows, and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture. This includes when and how to use Ramp’s API
- Be a subject matter expert across our HRIS and Accounting integration partners, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development in-line with customer needs
- Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp’s ability to support integration use cases across a growing customer base
- Influence Ramp’s product roadmap by channeling customer pain points and feedback to the Product and Engineering teams
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and being able to explain those concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
- Strong communication skills: able to translate complex technical solutions into business value, guide customers toward scalable approaches, and diplomatically steer conversations when requests are misaligned with best practices or product capabilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and a high level of ownership
- Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adaptable and resourceful as we scale Ramp’s upmarket motion
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $167,000 - $220,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $150,000-$206,000.

The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Applied Science team builds models and tools that solve Ramp’s most critical problems: from underwriting businesses to combatting fraud to making spend management smarter. We’re deeply embedded in the business and provide a quantitative foundation for decision making.
As an Applied Science intern, you’ll be a fully integrated member of the team and own your project from start to finish. Working with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, you’ll translate complex business needs into scalable machine-learning-driven solutions. This is a chance to apply ML concretely, ship code, and create genuine value for Ramp and our customers.
You will focus on exciting problems in areas like: credit, fraud, growth, or our core product.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- End-to-End ML: own the model lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering to training, benchmarking, deployment, and monitoring
- State-of-the-Art AI: leverage the latest Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve novel problems and create new product capabilities for our customers
- Versatile Techniques: apply the right tools to the right problems, whether it’s deep learning, gradient boosting, or causal inference
- Rigorous Experimentation: quantify the impact of your work through A/B tests and other statistical methods
- Collaborate: partner closely with product and business leaders to translate models and insights into actionable strategy and user-facing features
WHAT YOU NEED
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. Student: currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027 - 2029. Graduate degrees are preferred, but not a must.
- Strong ML Fundamentals: solid understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning, statistics, probability, and optimization
- Strong Interest or Experience with AI: curiosity and drive to integrate cutting edge LLMs and agents into applied solutions
- Python Proficiency: good grasp of common Data Science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch, etc.)
- SQL Knowledge: experience wrangling data in a modern data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Clickhouse)
- Practical Experience: track record of curating datasets and building/evaluating ML models
- Strong Communication: ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and use data to build a compelling narrative
- Bias For Action: a comfort with ambiguity and desire to ship solutions quickly then iterate
NICE TO HAVES
- Publications, Projects, or Previous Experience: relevant experience applying AI/ML and demonstrating your passion for the field
- Production ML Mindset: knowledge of software engineering best practices applied to ML including version control (Git), testing, and writing maintainable code
- Data Orchestration: experience with leveraging modern data orchestration platforms (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, Metaflow)
COMPENSATION
- The monthly rate for this internship is $12,500 USD + housing stipend

Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATE AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own paid acquisition on YouTube, ChatGPT, X, Rideshare, and Reddit, and to find new incremental channels. You'll take early experiments and turn them into measurable programs and build the operating model that makes successful channels part of Ramp's evergreen performance marketing mix.
This is a high-autonomy role. You will evaluate channel opportunities, design tests, launch campaigns, and analyze full-funnel performance. You'll work with Growth, Creative, Data, Finance, and other cross-functional partners to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for measurement & efficiency.
You’ll use AI as a practical part of the job: building systems that speed up research, campaign creation, performance analysis, and day-to-day channel operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own performance on YouTube, ChatGPT, X, Rideshare, and Reddit. Understand how conversion events, value signals, and lookalike audiences work at a technical level and use that to make channels more efficient over time.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new performance marketing channels and acquisition opportunities.
- Build the path from experiment to evergreen program: prove incremental SQLs and pipeline impact, hit LTV-to-CAC efficiency targets, and document a repeatable operating playbook.
- Own channels as they mature. Decide when a program stays with you and when it transitions to a dedicated owner so you can keep finding new ones.
- Analyze performance across the full funnel. Turn incomplete or noisy data into a clear call on what to scale, improve, pause, or stop.
- Partner with data and engineering to improve tracking, attribution, and reporting, and with Creative on messaging, format, and ad concepts across surfaces, audiences, and channels.
- Build AI agents, workflows, and tools that help the team test more ideas and operationalize channels faster.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years in a performance / quantitative marketing, growth, or comparable decision-science role, where you’ve owned numbers and shaped meaningful outcomes.
- Strong analytical judgment. You can define success metrics, diagnose and isolate performance issues, and make decisions with imperfect information.
- You enjoy designing experiments and translating results into a clear call on what to fund, scale, or kill.
- You've built AI workflows, automations, or agents to improve marketing execution and you have good judgment about where AI accelerates the work and where human review is necessary.
- You move projects from ambiguity to a clear outcome with limited direction and you're detail-oriented in campaign setup, tracking, and measurement.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- B2B experience.
- Experience bringing an experimental channel into a scaled program.
- Familiarity with attribution, incrementality testing, randomized controlled tests (RCTs), MMM, and marketing measurement.

WHY WORK AT HIGGSFIELD AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $700M in annual revenue run rate, 30M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
In 365 days we shipped 305 releases — roughly five years of work at most companies. New models, features and workflows land every week, and each one has to be explained to millions of users in a way that makes them understand it, want to try it, and remember it.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Everyone at Higgsfield is an A-player. We're looking for teammates who bring:
- High IQ, energy, and agency.
- Extreme autonomy and ownership.
- The ability to move fast, experiment constantly, and learn even faster.
- Resilience under pressure and readiness for an always-on environment.
- A balance of data-driven judgment and creative intuition.
- The drive to raise the standard for the entire team, not just yourself.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
FOOD & DAILY COMFORT
- Own everything the team eats: daily lunches, breakfasts, snacks, coffee, drinks. Choose vendors, place orders, manage delivery timing, and make sure food arrives hot and on schedule — every day, without reminders.
- Handle dietary needs and preferences, collect feedback, and rotate the menu so people actually look forward to lunch.
- Keep the kitchen and snack stock full at all times. Nobody should ever find an empty coffee machine or an empty fridge.
- Track food spend, compare vendors, and negotiate better terms as the team grows.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
- Keep the office running end to end: cleaning, supplies, water, repairs, furniture, plants, lighting, temperature — all of it.
- Be the main point of contact for landlords, cleaning services, delivery couriers, repair crews, and other vendors. Escalate fast, follow up until things are actually resolved.
- Set up and improve workspaces: desks, meeting rooms, quiet areas, lounge zones. Make the space something people choose to be in.
- Run the logistics of team events, all-hands, and guest visits — space, food, setup, teardown.
SYSTEMS & IMPROVEMENT
- Build simple systems that make all of this repeatable: inventory trackers, vendor lists, order schedules, onboarding checklists.
- Spot recurring annoyances and eliminate them permanently instead of solving them one by one.
- Keep documents, invoices, and receipts from vendors organized and handed off to finance on time.
YOUR MUST-HAVES
- 1+ years as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or Coordinator (flexible for high-potential candidates).
- Strong organizational skills and real attention to detail — you notice the empty water cooler before anyone mentions it.
- Ability to juggle many small tasks at once and react quickly when something breaks.
- Initiative to improve and systematize processes rather than firefight forever.
- Excellent communication skills for working with vendors, couriers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, Google Calendar, and Slack.
- Fluent English.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments.
- Hands-on experience with laptop setup, IT inventory, or basic hardware troubleshooting.
- An existing network of reliable vendors — catering, cleaning, repairs, equipment.
- Interest in growing into Project Management, Workplace Operations, or IT Operations.
The deal
- Competitive salary in USD, reviewed as you grow;
- On-site role in our Almaty office;
- Access to Higgsfield products and the AI tools we use internally;
- Breakfast, lunch and good coffee on us;
- Full-time position with high ownership.

Corporate Security at Ramp owns the security of our internal environment: the device fleet, the identity and access layer, and the AI tools employees use for their work. We are hiring a Systems Engineer to build and operate the controls across these systems.
The role is hands-on, writing code and building agentic loops wherever possible rather than solving problems manually. You will help manage device configuration and patching via configuration-as-code, authentication and authenticator policies in Okta, network and gateway enforcement in Cloudflare, and the controls around our enterprise Claude and OpenAI deployments. These systems overlap heavily in practice, and the work is largely about integrating them and automating what would otherwise be manual administration.
You will report to the Corporate Security lead and work closely with IT, Security Engineering, and AI DevX.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain update policies for both OS and software, and monitor the fleet so that newly introduced applications are brought into the patching cadence
- Build automation for endpoint security agent remediation across EDR, DLP, VPN, and similar tooling — detecting missing, stale, or unhealthy agents and bringing devices back into compliance
- Maintain device configuration baselines as code, including drift detection and hardening standards
- Configure authentication and authenticator policies in Okta: SSO, MFA and authenticator enrollment, device trust, and conditional access
- Remediate identity posture gaps surfaced by ISPM tooling: stale accounts, orphaned service principals, over-scoped OAuth grants, MFA gaps, and excess privileges
- Implement and operate controls for enterprise AI usage, including identity-aware access, logging and retention, DLP where appropriate, and enforcement
- Automate across these platforms using their APIs, build reporting on control coverage, and document how the controls you build are operated
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3–5 years of experience in Client Platform Engineer/Endpoint Engineering, Identity Access & Management, or Corporate Security
- Hands-on macOS management at scale: MDM (Jamf, Fleet, Kandji, or equivalent) and macOS update mechanisms
- Working knowledge of an identity provider (Okta or similar): SSO, authentication and authenticator policies, SCIM provisioning, and conditional access
- Scripting ability in Python, Go, or Bash, and experience automating against platform APIs
- Experience with EDR and endpoint vulnerability management (CrowdStrike or similar)
- Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between technical enforcement, policy, and user friction, and to explain those tradeoffs clearly
NICE TO HAVE
- osquery and Fleet, or other query-based fleet visibility tooling
- Identity posture management (ISPM) tooling, or access review and governance platforms
- Cloudflare Zero Trust, or other proxy, DNS, or network-layer enforcement, including TLS inspection
- Exposure to AI and LLM security concerns: agent authorization, tool calls, model gateways, data leakage through AI tooling
- Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience (Terraform, GitHub Actions)
- Windows fleet management alongside macOS
- Compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI) as they apply to endpoints and access
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
ABOUT THE HEALTHCARE TEAM
- Our healthcare agents already reach over 50% of U.S. families. We partner with leading health plans, providers, and healthcare platforms to deliver AI agents that handle some of the most sensitive and high stakes conversations in any industry. From helping members understand their benefits to resolving billing questions with empathy, our healthcare agents are transforming how patients and policyholders interact with the healthcare system.
- Our healthcare customers include major health insurance networks, nonprofit providers, multi-site primary and urgent care practices, healthcare diagnostics companies, and healthcare financial platforms.
- Join us to transform the patient experience across the healthcare system—and help build technology that makes care more accessible, more human and more affordable for everyone.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design integrations grounded in real healthcare workflows. Translate customer requirements into clear recommendations on interfaces, data flows, and EHR configuration. Identify assumptions, tradeoffs, and limitations so engineering teams have an actionable implementation plan.
- Resolve customer-specific EHR complexity. Understand how each organization configures and operates its EHR, including scheduling rules, patient identity, permissions, and workflow dependencies. Work with customer analysts, vendor teams, and Sierra engineers to investigate unexpected behavior and resolve integration blockers.
- Guide integration readiness through go-live. Define customer setup requirements, dependencies, and validation criteria. Guide EHR and IT teams through application registration, access provisioning, environment setup, and workflow testing, partnering with engineers to verify that integrations behave as intended.
- Bring EHR expertise to customer discovery. Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Agent Development to assess feasibility, explain integration requirements, and scope achievable projects. Make clear what Sierra supports today and what requires additional configuration or development.
- Shape Sierra’s healthcare integration roadmap. Evaluate vendor capabilities, integration programs, and emerging customer needs. Recommend where to invest, distinguishing reusable platform capabilities from customer-specific configuration and implementation work.
- Make each implementation easier than the last. Turn deployment experience into reference designs, implementation guides, and internal training. Help teams apply proven approaches and recognize when a customer’s requirements call for a different design.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation, with direct responsibility for designing or delivering integrations at an EHR vendor, health system, healthcare technology company, or implementation consultancy.
- Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem, such as Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH, or similar systems. You understand its integration options, configuration model, and implementation processes, and can investigate unfamiliar capabilities independently.
- Practical knowledge of patient-access workflows, such as scheduling, registration, or referral management. You can explain how operational rules and customer configuration affect what an integration can do.
- Technical fluency in healthcare integrations. You can read API documentation, interpret requests and responses, and troubleshoot data and configuration issues. You have hands-on experience with relevant approaches such as FHIR, HL7v2, vendor APIs, or file-based exchange, and can explain when to use them.
- A track record of taking third-party integrations through deployment. You have worked through application registration, authentication and permissions, test and production environments, workflow validation, and go-live dependencies.
- Clear communication and independent judgment. You can lead discovery with EHR analysts and operational teams, turn incomplete information into an implementation plan, and explain recommendations to software engineers and business stakeholders. You know when to validate an assumption before committing to an approach.
EVEN BETTER...
- Epic certifications in areas such as Bridges, Cadence, Prelude, or Interconnect, or comparable expertise in another EHR ecosystem.
- Experience across multiple EHR vendors or health systems, particularly integrating third-party products into patient-access or contact-center workflows.
- Experience using SQL, scripts, or code to investigate integration issues, or working with teams building AI agents for healthcare.
- Hands-on software development experience, including building or extending integrations with EHRs or other healthcare systems.
- Comfortable contributing directly to integration code, including implementing API calls, troubleshooting failures, and writing tests. Experience with TypeScript, Go, or Python is a plus.
