ABOUT THE MANAGED POSTGRES TEAM
The Managed Postgres team is building a high-performance, reliable PostgreSQL service within ClickHouse Cloud. We give developers a familiar PostgreSQL experience, remove operational burden, and connect transactional Postgres workloads with real-time analytics in ClickHouse. The team owns provisioning, high availability, backup and recovery, upgrades, observability, performance, security, and developer experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the team building and operating ClickHouse Managed Postgres. You will combine people leadership, technical direction, product thinking, and operational ownership while maintaining the reliability customers expect.
You will report directly to Kaushik Iska, who leads the Managed Postgres organization. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, Support, and engineering teams across ClickHouse.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team through clear expectations, feedback, development, and direct performance management.
- Own outcomes across provisioning, fleet management, failover, point-in-time recovery, upgrades, observability, performance, and security.
- Turn customer and business needs into a multi-quarter roadmap with incremental milestones.
- Guide architecture and help senior engineers make explicit, sound tradeoffs.
- Raise operational quality across SLOs, on-call, incidents, maintenance, and automation.
- Work directly with customers and turn recurring pain into product improvements.
- Align dependencies, surface risks early, and keep execution predictable across a distributed organization.
- Hire the right mix of PostgreSQL, systems, infrastructure, reliability, and product engineering talent while fostering ownership and clear technical debate.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers in infrastructure, databases, or developer platforms.
- Experience building and operating a customer-facing stateful service with demanding availability, durability, security, and performance requirements.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or managed relational databases, including replication, WAL, high availability, recovery, upgrades, observability, or performance diagnosis.
- Technical credibility to engage deeply in architecture and incidents without owning daily implementation.
- A record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining engineers, including senior ICs.
- Strong execution judgment across ambiguity, parallel workstreams, risk, and long-term system health.
- A customer mindset, strong Product partnership, clear communication, and distributed-team leadership.
NICE TO HAVE
- Managed PostgreSQL, relational database, or cloud control-plane leadership
- PostgreSQL internals, extensions, replication, storage, performance, or database reliability depth
- AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or multi-region experience
- Experience taking infrastructure from early adoption through general availability
- Open-source, technical writing, speaking, startup, or founder experience
WHY THIS ROLE
- Shape a strategic product at the intersection of PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
- Lead a technical team where correctness, performance, reliability, and developer experience all matter.
- Influence the product, roadmap, operating model, and customer outcomes.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.

About You
You're a jack-of-all-trades with a passion for cool technology and interacting with people and making them happy. You're a self-starter who's good at triaging problems and working on the most important one. You've worked directly with customers for a long time and are comfortable being the face of the company to them. One of the things that pleases you most in life is customers successfully using your product, being thrilled with its value, and telling you they're happy they partnered with you. Further, you're a curious person, and you'd love the opportunity to work with a technology team that includes data scientists, algorithm experts, back-end and front-end engineers to expand your knowledge.
About Us

We're a passionate team of technologists who love solving problems and want to make our customers' and coworkers' lives better. - Identify risks, blockers, and changing customer priorities early. Lead escalations with clarity and urgency by defining the business impact, engaging the right internal teams, setting expectations, and maintaining customer confidence through resolution.
- Advocate effectively for customer needs while exercising strong judgment about when engineering involvement is required, how requests should be prioritized, and when an alternative solution can deliver the desired outcome.
- Use customer insights, performance data, and ecommerce best practices to provide proactive, strategic recommendations, not simply respond to requests.
- Maintain clear success plans, stakeholder maps, account documentation, training materials, and agreed actions so that both the customer and Constructor teams remain aligned.
- Partner closely with Account Management to support retention and growth by demonstrating value, strengthening executive relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand the partnership.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
The Associate Operations Manager for Supply Activation & Acquisition plays a pivotal role at Wolt. As Central scales at an unprecedented pace, your mission is to keep courier supply ahead of demand - both in the moment and over the medium term. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 3, ensuring that intraday activation (weather-driven boosts, DxGy and ARC / radius adjustments) and courier acquisition (job boards, application attainment, reactivations and sign-ups) are tightly coordinated across all Central markets.
In this role, you will own two of Central’s most closely tracked supply KPIs - undersupplied hours and GOV loss - reported weekly to senior leadership, alongside a multi-million euro activation and acquisition budget. Your leadership extends beyond day-to-day activation calls; you will be the primary bridge to higher management on supply health, escalating risks early and proposing structural fixes such as mobilizer strategies and special events planning ahead of demand spikes (holidays, weather events, local events). Your ability to translate data into fast, defensible calls will be key to keeping Central’s ADT, UH% and GOV loss on plan.
What you’ll be doing
Own Central’s intraday activation strategy - activation surges, special events management and day-to-day operations (radius / busyness adjustments, communication flows, etc.) - to keep courier supply matched to demand hour by hour.
Lead and mentor a team of 3 and own a multi-million euro activation and acquisition budget across Central markets.
Own Central’s courier acquisition function: job boards, application attainment, reactivation campaigns and sign-ups.
Own and report on Central’s UH% and GOV loss KPIs weekly, surfacing risks and driving corrective action with senior leadership.
Plan and execute mobilizer strategies and special events coverage (holidays, weather events, local events) ahead of demand spikes.
Partner with Support, Product and Global Delivery Ops to build tools and processes that scale activation and acquisition across markets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for top management on Central’s supply health.
Our humble expectations
Proven track record managing complex, data-driven operations across multiple markets, ideally in courier / gig supply, logistics or marketplace operations.
Comfortable owning hard KPIs (UH%, GOV loss) and being accountable for the numbers, not just reporting them.
Experience leading and developing a small team (3 direct reports).
Strong budget ownership experience - able to allocate and defend a multi-million euro spend across activation and acquisition levers.
Excellent ability to distill complex operational trade-offs into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Comfortable working under time pressure during weather events, special events and demand spikes.
Fluent English skills in both spoken and writing.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

About GiveDirectly in the DRC
GiveDirectly DRC was established in 2018 to enable cash transfers to poor and rural populations via mobile phones, thereby promoting food security, poverty reduction, and financial inclusion. We aimed to demonstrate the operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness of transferring large volumes of money digitally in one of the world's least developed countries. Since its inception four years ago, GiveDirectly DRC has used mobile phones to transfer over $14 million to more than 65,000 beneficiaries in four provinces: South Kivu, North Kivu, Ituri, and Kinshasa.
GiveDirectly's activities in the DRC have expanded to include, among other things: compelling proofs of concept for mobile-based cash transfers; and the implementation of innovative technologies to target disadvantaged urban populations in Kinshasa, in collaboration with the DRC's social protection agency, the DRC Social Fund. The delivery of contactless cash to beneficiaries in Beni and Bunia affected by the economic consequences of COVID-19. You will be joining Give Directly DRC at an exciting time in its history, as we are establishing and hope to launch several new programs and strengthen our partnership with the DRC government.
About the Role
As Senior Manager, Operations (DRC), you'll build and lead the operational backbone behind GiveDirectly's programs in the country. You'll direct the support services team end-to-end — HR, logistics, procurement, and administration — while managing a team of managers. You'll design a procurement strategy that keeps goods and services flowing efficiently and reliably across provinces, own fleet and logistics management as the program scales, and manage the operational budget with an eye for efficiency. You'll also support the Country Director on HR strategy — recruitment, training, and performance — and design the systems needed for a much larger footprint across provinces, from procurement to digital tools that improve scalability.
This is a role for someone who can build systems as readily as they can lead people, and who's energized by both strategic design and the operational details that make it real on the ground.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the DRC support services team end-to-end — HR, logistics, procurement, administration, and office management — including direct oversight of managers
Develop and drive a procurement strategy ensuring efficient, compliant, and resilient sourcing across provinces, and own fleet and logistics management as the program scales
Manage the operational budget, forecasting and driving efficiency across procurement, logistics, and administrative spend
Support the Country Director on HR strategy — recruitment, training, performance management, and talent density — through oversight of the HR function
Design systems and processes to support a much larger footprint across provinces, anticipating future needs and identifying AI and digital opportunities to improve scalability
Coach and develop support services managers to build operational excellence beyond individual contribution
Maintain a compliance and operational risk register, and lead internal spot checks, audit preparedness, and action plans in partnership with Finance and Internal Audit
Own donor reporting, budget tracking, and donor visit coordination, and serve as the primary point of contact between the Country Office and GSS on operational and compliance matters
Own the Operational Knowledge Base and lead onboarding, training, and localization of materials as the team grows
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (management, administration, finance, or related); a master's degree is an asset
Minimum 6 years of experience in operations management, with a track record of transforming informal systems into structured, compliant, and scalable ones, including direct oversight of managers
Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience managing an operational budget
Proven experience maintaining a risk register and working closely with internal/external audit functions
Experience developing and coaching managers, with comfort delegating execution while retaining accountability for results
Strong digital fluency, with experience using and training teams on multiple platforms (Google Suite, Salesforce, Asana, Guru, Slack)
Familiarity with international NGO standards and donor compliance frameworks
Experience navigating the DRC's complex legal environment, including labor law and immigration requirements
Strong alignment with
GiveDirectly's values
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English and French with high level stakeholders
Professional proficiency in French and English required; knowledge of Congolese Swahili and/or Lingala is an asset

As Senior Manager, Programs (DRC), you'll help bring GiveDirectly's programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo to life — owning their end-to-end execution, from operational design to on-the-ground delivery. You'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving: designing systems that work, catching risks before they escalate, and using data to drive continuous improvement. You'll also lead people, managing a team of managers and field staff, while partnering closely with the Program Director and Country Director to shape what comes next. It's a role for someone who's energized by both the big picture and the operational details that make it real.
What You’ll Do:
Develop detailed project management plans for all our programs and drive them through successful end-to-end execution
Design operational models for new programs — including targeting, payments, and customer service — and define, monitor, and report on key operational and efficiency indicators
Identify operational vulnerabilities, such as fraud or reputational risk, and implement mitigation solutions aligned with the risk framework set by the Program Director
Analyze program-level data to diagnose the causes of underperformance and drive continuous quality improvement
Partner with Tech and Data teams to design surveys and ensure data integrity in Salesforce
Directly manage a team of managers, with oversight of field teams and call centre at multiple levels
Support the Program Director and Country Director in scoping new programs, including operational feasibility and risk assessment.
Manage partner relationships with key operational partners with oversight of scoping, contracting and ensuring the terms of our agreements are respected.
Develop materials for engagement with donors and other external stakeholders in order to represent our work externally.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience managing and implementing programs within international NGOs or a comparable operational environment; experience in cash or money transfer programming is an asset
Work experience in the DRC, or strong knowledge of the DRC context, is highly desirable
Experience in team management, including recruitment, team building, and development
Strong analytical thinking, with a proven ability to use data to identify problems and improve programs
Experience using technology and digital tools to drive results and operational innovation
Proven instinct for risk management and creative problem-solving in complex operational environments
A high degree of autonomy and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fragile, rapidly changing environment
Strong alignment with
GiveDirectly's values
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English and French with high level stakeholders
Professional proficiency in French and English required; knowledge of Congolese Swahili and/or Lingala is an asset

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic is building the Forward Deployed Engineering team to help the world's most ambitious organizations adopt Claude in ways that are transformative, safe, and lasting. Our Technical Deployment Leads (TDLs) and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed with strategic customers to ship production AI applications that solve real business problems. Our delivery model pairs two roles: FDEs own the technical artifact, and TDLs own the engagement end-to-end — from statement of work (SOW) through production deployment.
As a Manager of Technical Deployment for Financial Services, you own engagement portfolio health across your vertical. You set the bar for delivery quality and build the playbooks and evaluation frameworks that let the practice scale. Your work will directly influence Anthropic's product direction and establish Anthropic as the trusted partner for AI transformation across the Fortune 100.
This is a player-coach role. You need to be credible in architecture conversations with a customer's engineering leads and equally comfortable in sales conversations in front of executive sponsors, and you will lead the most complex engagements yourself when the stakes call for it. Most of your impact will come through the people you hire and the standard you hold them to. You won't write production code, but you will pressure-test the technical decisions your TDL team makes with FDEs.
Responsibilities
Hire, develop, and retain a team of TDLs embedded in Financial Services engagements. Set a high bar for delivery judgment, technical fluency, and customer presence, and run the interviews that hold it.
Manage each TDL directly: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, direct feedback, and a growth plan. Build a bench that runs engagements well without you in the room.
Own portfolio health across the vertical. Track which engagements are on track, at risk, or closing out, and intervene early when delivery drifts. Run engagement quality reviews with your team.
Own customer outcomes across the portfolio. Hold the executive relationship with customer sponsors, run steering committees, and represent Anthropic's credibility with senior business, risk, and engineering leaders.
Make the staffing call for each engagement. Work with FDE managers to match TDLs and engineers to each customer, and adjust as scope changes.
Lead the most complex engagements yourself. Take the TDL seat when engagement size, regulatory exposure, or organizational complexity calls for it, from delivery plan through production.
Set the bar for delivery excellence — SOW quality, MVP scoping, and value measurement. Ensure every engagement has a defensible impact story.
Codify reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks across the team. Turn what works in the field into delivery infrastructure that lets the practice scale.
Partner with Sales to qualify engagements, shape scope, and inform SOWs. Partner with Marketing and Sales on Financial Services–specific go-to-market materials, reference cases, and positioning.
Run the team's operating rhythm: engagement reviews, knowledge-sharing, and escalation support, and report into the wider post-sales cadence and dashboards. Set team goals tied to customer outcomes.
Bring the field back to Anthropic. Surface delivery lessons and emerging Financial Services use cases to Product and Research, and represent the vertical in leadership discussions.
Consistently uphold Anthropic's values as you lead your team. TDLs should be strong representatives of Anthropic's culture as they work within customer environments.
Travel to customer sites (25–50% expected).
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Have 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery, whether you came up as a founder, engineer, data scientist, or researcher who has moved into deployments, with at least 3 years directly managing people who owned delivery outcomes.
Have a track record of building and leading technical delivery teams in enterprise environments, ideally including embedded or forward-deployed teams working at client sites.
Have delivered AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production. You understand solution patterns, integration approaches, and what breaks in real environments.
Bring depth in Financial Services. You have delivered technology programs inside banks, insurers, or asset managers, you understand how model risk, security, and compliance review shape what ships, and you can speak credibly with a CIO, a chief risk officer, and a head of engineering.
Can navigate architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and judge whether a proposed agent design is realistic. You are accountable for the technical direction your team sets alongside FDEs.
Have experience with value-based scoping, including TCO/ROI quantification and post-deployment impact measurement.
Thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists. You have built a team, practice, or function from an early stage.
Have executive presence: polished, credible, and concise with senior leaders in high-stakes settings, and just as effective in a hands-on engagement review with your team.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can translate technical complexity into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$240,000
—
$450,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic’s Infrastructure organization is responsible for the systems that train our models, serve our products, and support our engineering teams. That includes datacenter operations, capacity planning across cloud providers and our own facilities, accelerator cluster management, production serving infrastructure, developer tooling, data pipelines, and networking. It’s a lot of surface area, and the demands on it are growing fast.
We’re hiring a TPM leader to own program management across this whole ecosystem from compute provisioning through to production workloads. We’re bringing up new datacenters, scaling multi-cloud compute across AWS, GCP, and Azure, managing datacenter construction, and building the software infrastructure to keep pace. The team is growing very quickly, and we’re looking for a senior leader with experience at scale to build and scale this team to support Anthropic’s rapid growth. You’ll report to the Head of TPM, partnering closely with various engineering leaders on technical strategy, roadmapping, and aligning TPM support where it is most impactful.
You’ll personally drive 2–3 critical programs while leading your teamin parallel. This is a role where you need to be comfortable doing the work yourself before you can hand it off.
What you'll do:
IC Program Leadership
Own and drive 2–3 of the highest-priority programs across infrastructure while you build the team
Run the actual programs—datacenter bring-up timelines, capacity scaling plans, infrastructure migrations, cross-team reliability efforts, or whatever the most pressing needs are
Build the processes and playbooks as you go—figure out what works by doing it, then codify it for the team
Earn credibility with engineering leads through solid execution, not just strategy
Team Building & Development
Set the standard for what good TPM work looks like in this domain through your own output
Coach and develop TPMs
Transition programs to your team as you hire
Grow the team with excellent TPMs by defining roles, writing JDs, sourcing candidates, and closing hires
Planning & Prioritization
Work with various engineering leads to identify work that would most benefit from TPM support
Make real tradeoffs about what to staff vs. what to skip given limited TPM capacity during the build phase
Maintain portfolio-level visibility across programs—status, risks, dependencies, blockers
Represent the team in planning cycles and leadership reviews
Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate across Infrastructure and partner teams (Research, Product, Security, Finance, Legal) on programs that span organizational boundaries
Drive alignment on programs that cross the hardware/software line—e.g., capacity plans that feed into training schedules, or efficiency work that spans accelerator kernels and serving systems
Own executive communication on program status, risks, and resource needs
You May Be a Good Fit If You:
Have 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with 7+ years directly managing TPMs and ideally some experience leading larger TPM organizations
Have built a team or function from scratch before—you know the difference between hiring for a defined role vs. figuring out what the roles should be
Have scaled TPM teams to support rapidly-growing, fast-moving company environments
Have worked across physical and software infrastructure—datacenters, networking, hardware ops, distributed systems, cloud platforms, developer tooling. You don’t need to be deep in all of it, but you need to be conversant enough to ask the right questions and spot the real risks.
Have run large-scale compute or infrastructure programs—capacity planning, cluster deployments, datacenter build-outs, cloud migrations, or similar
Can communicate complex programs clearly to senior leadership without losing the important details
Are good at context-switching between doing the work and managing people, and don’t see the IC work as beneath you
Are comfortable making staffing and prioritization decisions without perfect information
Deadline to apply:

This is a highly specialized role requiring an individual who understands technical program delivery, the technical complexity of frontier AI models and the unique requirements of government and defence organizations.
You will be the critical bridge between our cutting-edge AI capabilities and the specific needs of Canadian federal departments, provincial agencies, Crown corporations, and defence organizations. In this role, you'll collaborate with our Strategic Customer team, Applied ML (AML) Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams, serving as the technical program lead and trusted advisor for our most sensitive and high-impact government engagements.
Location: Ottawa required
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred; candidates eligible and willing to obtain clearance will also be considered.
What You'll Do
Customer Program Leadership:
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery for Canadian public sector and defence customers, from initial deployment through production scaling
- Serve as the primary technical program point of contact for government customers, building trusted relationships with departmental CIOs, IT directors, and technical teams
- Translate complex government requirements (security, compliance, accessibility, bilingualism, data sovereignty) into actionable engineering plans
- Navigate government procurement processes, RFP responses, and contractual technical obligations.
Strategic Communication:
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication across Cohere's engineering organization, customer stakeholders, and government leadership
- Translate between AI/ML technical concepts and government-appropriate language for decision-makers who may not have deep technical backgrounds
- Present technical roadmaps and status updates to senior government officials and departmental executives
- Represent Cohere's technical capabilities in sensitive government and defence contexts.
Complex Program Management:
- Create and manage project schedules that account for government timelines, security review processes, and ministerial approval cycles
- Identify and manage dependencies across government departments, security authorities, cloud service providers, and internal Cohere teams
- Navigate risks unique to government deployments: privacy compliance, Algorithmic Impact Assessments, Treasury Board submissions, security authorizations
- Drive alignment between product development priorities and specific government requirements.
Technical Delivery & Execution:
- Ensure on-time delivery of AI solutions that meet government-grade security, privacy, accessibility, and performance standards
- Coordinate technical work across multiple teams: model customization, security hardening, integration with government systems, bilingual support
- Establish governance checkpoints appropriate for high-stakes government deployments
- Problem-solve complex technical challenges in air-gapped, on-premises, or highly regulated environments.
You May Be a Good Fit If:
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a customer-facing Technical or Engineering Program Manager in AI/ML consulting, technology transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with government, defence, or heavily regulated customers (public sector, defence contractors).
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs with stringent compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or technical certs a plus.
Technical Background:
- Strong understanding of enterprise software deployment architectures (cloud, on-premises, hybrid, air-gapped)
- Working knowledge of or experience with modern AI: LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, RAG, fine-tuning, evals, and responsible AI would be a strong differentiator
- Comfortable discussing API integrations, model inference, data pipelines, and ML operations with technical stakeholders.
Government & Defence Acumen:
- Deep understanding of how government organizations procure, evaluate, and deploy technology
- Familiarity with Canadian government requirements: data sovereignty, privacy laws (Privacy Act), accessibility standards, official languages obligations, security classifications
- Understanding of defence and national security considerations in AI deployment
- Experience with Algorithmic Impact Assessments or AI ethics frameworks is a strong asset
- Eligible to obtain Canadian government security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Active Canadian government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) - strong preference for active Top Secret clearance
- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency
- Background in or strong familiarity with Canadian defence, intelligence, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Experience with GC Cloud services (Azure, AWS GovCloud) or Protected B/C environments
- Project management certification (PMP, PgMP) or government-specific methodologies.
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who currently hold an active Top Secret (TS) clearance, as this will enable immediate engagement with our most sensitive defence and national security customers.
However, we will also consider exceptional candidates who:
- Currently hold Secret clearance and are eligible for TS upgrade
- Do not currently hold clearance, but are eligible and willing to undergo the Top Secret clearance process
- Have a previous government security clearance that has lapsed
Please note that obtaining Top Secret clearance can take 12-18 months. Candidates without active clearance will work on non-classified public sector accounts while the clearance process is underway.
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't typical program management—it's a highly specialized role at the intersection of frontier AI, national security, and public sector digital transformation. You'll work on some of Canada's most sensitive and impactful AI deployments, helping government organizations harness cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics, and accountability.
If you're passionate about responsible AI adoption, understand the unique constraints and opportunities within government, and want to have an outsized impact on how Canada leverages AI to serve its citizens, this role is for you.

LEAD PRODUCT MANAGER – PAYMENTS RISK
OUR PURPOSE
At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Lead Product Manager – Payments Risk, you’ll build the risk capabilities that enable Xero customers to accept payments securely, reliably and with as little unnecessary friction as possible.
You’ll own product strategy and execution across two core areas:
Merchant risk — including KYB/KYC, merchant eligibility, underwriting, risk segmentation, financial exposure management and ongoing merchant monitoring.
Transaction risk — including fraud detection and decisioning, transaction monitoring, disputes and chargebacks, reserves and holds, payout risk and payments loss management.
This is a Product Management role focused on payments risk, not a Risk Operations or Compliance role. You’ll partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, Data and Operations to turn risk strategy and policy into scalable product capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
BUILD XERO’S PAYMENTS RISK CAPABILITIES
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for merchant and transaction risk.
- Build capabilities for merchant eligibility, underwriting, risk segmentation, financial exposure management and ongoing monitoring.
- Build transaction fraud detection, monitoring and decisioning capabilities using signals, rules, scoring, velocity and limits.
- Develop controls for disputes, chargebacks, reserves, holds, negative balances and payout risk.
- Build the tooling and workflows needed to support investigation, review and risk operations.
BUILD RISK AS A SCALABLE PLATFORM CAPABILITY
- Develop reusable capabilities for risk decisioning, rules, signals, limits, monitoring, alerts and case management.
- Partner with Engineering and Data on APIs, data models, architecture and decisioning systems required to operate risk at scale.
- Design capabilities that can support multiple processors, payment methods and markets.
- Evaluate build-versus-partner decisions and determine where Xero should own risk capabilities versus rely on processors or specialist risk providers.
MAKE THE RIGHT RISK TRADE-OFFS
- Translate risk appetite and policy into product controls and customer experiences.
- Use data to balance fraud and financial loss against merchant friction, transaction conversion and operational cost.
- Establish clear risk metrics and continuously improve decision quality, false-positive rates and loss performance.
- Identify emerging merchant, fraud and loss patterns and evolve controls as risks change.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
Deep, hands-on payments risk product experience is essential for this role.
We’re looking for someone who has built and operated risk capabilities within a payments platform, PSP, acquirer, PayFac, marketplace or similar payments environment.
You should have meaningful Product Management experience across both:
- Merchant risk: KYB/KYC, merchant onboarding, eligibility, underwriting, merchant risk assessment, financial exposure management and/or ongoing monitoring.
- Transaction risk: fraud detection and decisioning, transaction monitoring, disputes and chargebacks, reserves and holds, payout risk and/or payments loss management.
You’ll also bring:
- Significant Product Management experience in a technically complex payments or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of how merchant risk, transaction risk and the movement of money create financial exposure.
- Experience building risk decisioning capabilities using rules, signals, scoring, limits and data-driven models.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using fraud, transaction and loss data to make product decisions.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
- Experience working with payment processors, acquirers and/or third-party risk providers.
- Strong product judgement and the ability to make decisions where customer experience, growth and risk are in tension.
We’re particularly interested in candidates whose experience extends beyond KYC/compliance or consumer identity fraud into broader merchant and transaction risk within a payments environment.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Legitimate merchants can accept payments with minimal unnecessary friction.
- Higher-risk merchants and transactions are identified and treated appropriately.
- Fraud, chargebacks and payments losses remain within Xero’s agreed risk appetite.
- Risk capabilities and decisioning can scale across processors, payment methods and markets.
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheck. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- California: $212,200 – $265,200 USD
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 21 days PTO, 10 days of Wellbeing leave, 5 days of Xtra Leave, 1 volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave. Further information included on our Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ page.
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $169 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to own Wealthsimple’s Connectivity Platform, spanning two critical areas:
- Brokerage & Bank Linking: How clients securely and reliably connect external financial institutions to Wealthsimple.
- Public API: How clients and partners securely access and use Wealthsimple financial data outside of Wealthsimple.
Together, these capabilities define how Wealthsimple connects to the broader financial ecosystem, and how every product team inside Wealthsimple builds on the external financial data that flows through it. This role will set the strategy for that platform and turn it into a reliable, scalable and differentiated capability for our clients, our product teams and our partners.
This is a platform role with a meaningful client experience surface. You’ll need to be equally comfortable thinking about APIs, data models and platform architecture as you are designing a client UX or deciding how Wealthsimple should work with an external provider.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Brokerage & Bank Linking team builds the technology that lets clients link their outside bank and brokerage accounts to Wealthsimple. It owns the automated and manual linking experiences end to end, along with the three connectors behind them: Plaid, Flinks, and WST, our own in-house connector. That makes it one of the highest leverage surfaces in the company, and powers a growing set of experiences built by other product teams.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Connectivity Strategy
- Set the long term vision and strategy for how Wealthsimple connects with the broader financial ecosystem.
- Define the capabilities we should build ourselves, where we should rely on partners, and where we can create differentiated client value.
- Develop a roadmap that balances immediate product needs with investments in reusable platform capabilities.
Brokerage & Bank Linking
- Own the end to end experience for connecting external bank and brokerage accounts to Wealthsimple — automated and manual, including how clients recover when an automated connection fails.
- Improve connection success, reliability and coverage across institutions, and own the routing strategy that decides which connector handles which institution and flow.
- Own the client experience, including institution selection, authentication, errors, recovery and connection management.
- Drive reliability and AI Powered self-healing so connections detect and recover from failure without manual intervention.
- Balance conversion against fraud exposure and operational load, making those tradeoffs deliberately with our risk and operations partners.
- Develop the platform capabilities that allow Wealthsimple products to consume external financial data consistently.
- Own relationships and product integrations with connectivity vendors such as Plaid and Flinks, and decide where our own connector should lead — including how much of the connector business Wealthsimple should be in long term and where it makes more sense to partner.
Public API
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Wealthsimple’s Public API and external data connectivity.
- Make it safe and easy for clients to permission their Wealthsimple financial data to the products and services they choose.
- Define the platform capabilities required for authentication, consent, permissions, data access and partner integrations.
- Identify and prioritize the partners and use cases that matter most to Wealthsimple clients.
- Build toward a world where Wealthsimple is the financial institution where clients have the most control over their financial data.
- Accelerate wealthsimple and our industry toward open banking.
SKILLS YOU BRING
You’re a strong product thinker who can operate across platform infrastructure, external ecosystems and client experience. You likely have:
- Experience owning a platform, API, developer product or integrations platform, with a track record on metric-attached outcomes like conversion, success rate or reliability — not only feature delivery.
- Enough technical depth to work closely with engineers on APIs, authentication, data models, routing and platform architecture.
- Experience delivering through external vendors or partners whose roadmaps you don’t control, including making thoughtful build versus buy decisions and holding vendors accountable for product outcomes.
- Comfort treating reliability as product work — error taxonomies, failure recovery, observability, and the operational load a product creates.
- Experience weighing growth against fraud, risk and compliance, and holding both sides of that tradeoff.
- The ability to turn a collection of technical capabilities into a clear product strategy and compelling long term vision, and to make the case for investing in it.
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort using data to understand reliability, conversion, coverage and product performance, including building the measurement where it doesn’t exist yet.
- Excellent cross functional leadership across Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, Compliance, Operations and external partners.
- A bias toward simplifying complicated systems rather than layering more complexity on top of them.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with open banking, Canada’s consumer-driven banking framework, or building to a data sharing standard
- A background in financial data aggregation, whether at an aggregator, a bank, or a fintech consuming one
- Experience shipping a public API or developer platform as a commercial product, including partner onboarding and support
WHAT GREAT LOOKS LIKE
You won’t just operate Bank Linking and ship API endpoints.
You’ll create a coherent connectivity strategy for Wealthsimple: making it easier for clients to bring their financial life to Wealthsimple, easier to move their financial data where they want it to go, easier for any team at Wealthsimple to build on that data, and increasingly less dependent on the slow pace of connectivity innovation from incumbent financial institutions.
You’ll also have made the case for what this platform should become — the metrics, the roadmap and the investment argument that get it there.

New Apps is Voodoo's zero-to-one small and elite team, building the next wave of B2C AI apps on mass-market segments. We're exploring whatever looks huge next: social entertainment, fitness, health, learning, etc. Think startup speed with big-company muscle behind it.
The team is kept deliberately lean, which means fewer layers, more ownership, and faster decisions. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a structured mindset, a passion for growth, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

- Partner with cross-functional teams (creative, product, development) to ensure execution of the growth strategy and leverage resources effectively
- Conduct systematic data analysis and leverage key metrics to measure channels performances, drive decision-making, prioritize growth initiatives and new opportunities.
