OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more.
About The Opportunity
OKX's Trading Products team owns the core trading experience across Spot, Margin, and Perpetual/Futures — spanning the full user journey from pre-trade decision-making, through order execution, to post-trade settlement and risk management. As our trading volumes and product complexity continue to grow globally, we are looking for a
Trading Product Manager
who can own and evolve both the
user-facing trading experience
and the
underlying trading mechanics
that power it.
This role sits at the intersection of product design and trading logic. You will work on how users discover, price, place, and manage trades (pre-trade / trade / post-trade), while also owning the correctness and soundness of the core mechanisms beneath the surface — margin models, funding rate formulas, liquidation logic, risk parameter design, and order/matching behavior. You will work closely with engineering, risk, quant, and design teams to ship trading features that are intuitive for users and rigorous under the hood.
What You’ll Be Doing
Start from users and the market to uncover real trading-experience needs
— Continuously surface user pain points through user research, behavioral data, community feedback, and conversations with active traders, ensuring product direction is grounded in real signal rather than internal assumptions.
Benchmark against industry best practices to build best-in-class trading product competitiveness
— Continuously track developments in crypto and traditional finance markets and the latest moves from leading products, translating external insight into concrete product opportunities that keep our trading experience and competitiveness ahead of the industry.
Build and continuously refine the end-to-end trading experience
— Own the full journey across pre-trade (market data presentation, decision-support tools, leverage/margin setup, risk disclosures), trade (order flow, execution feedback, order book/depth interaction), and post-trade (position management, PnL display, settlement statements) — from defining requirements through to shipping the solution.
Drive efficient cross-team collaboration with mature program-management execution
— Bring a complete product methodology, independently write rigorous PRDs, and lead alignment and coordination across engineering, risk, quant, design, and compliance. Own the full project lifecycle — from requirements definition and solution design, through development scheduling, to launch validation and post-launch review — ensuring every stage closes the loop with a clear outcome, without relying on others to drive progress.
Apply rigorous quantitative thinking to understand and reason about trading mechanics
— Bring strong logical reasoning and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to learn fast and quickly master core trading mechanisms such as margin, leverage, funding rates, and liquidation. Candidates with a deep understanding of trading systems are preferred.
What We Look For In You
We are open to two types of candidates for this role:
(a) Experienced Trading Practitioners
Prior hands-on experience in trading — either within crypto (exchange product, quant, trading desk) or in traditional finance (equities, futures, FX, derivatives) — with direct exposure to how trading products and mechanisms are designed and operated.
Solid understanding of core trading concepts: margin/leverage, order types, market microstructure, risk management, and P&L mechanics.
Comfortable reading and reasoning through trading formulas (e.g. mark price, funding rate, liquidation price) and translating them into clear product logic.
(b) High-Potential Talent
Strong quantitative/analytical foundation — a background in mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, with strong academic performance.
High self-drive and fast learning ability — demonstrated track record of picking up complex, technical domains quickly and independently, even without prior trading experience.
Genuine intellectual curiosity about financial markets and trading mechanics, with the rigor to work through formulas and edge cases rather than relying on surface-level understanding.
Common requirements for both profiles:
3+ years of product management experience (or equivalent hands-on experience in quant/trading roles for candidates from profile (a)).
Strong technical intuition — comfortable discussing system architecture and data flows with engineers, and reasoning through quantitative models. You don't need to be a developer, but you think with the rigor of one.
Excellent communication skills — able to write a precise, technically sound PRD, and to explain complex trading mechanics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High agency and execution velocity — comfortable operating in ambiguity, moving from open question to shipped solution, and making decisions with incomplete information.
Genuine passion for crypto and trading — actively uses trading products, understands order types and market microstructure, and can explain how margin, leverage, or liquidation mechanics work. Ideally, you have skin in the game.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required
to communicate effectively with internal engineering and product stakeholders in the China-based R&D center.
Nice-To-Haves
Experience with derivatives products (perpetual futures, options) either as a builder or an active trader.
Familiarity with risk parameter design (margin tiers, liquidation engines, insurance funds) at an exchange or financial institution.
Quantitative modeling experience (e.g. Python, SQL) sufficient to validate trading formulas or backtest mechanism changes.
Prior work in a high-growth crypto exchange, trading firm, or fintech company.
Fluency in English is preferred to better support communication with global product and business stakeholders.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a deeply technical post-sales role focused on driving successful adoption of Azul Prime within a portfolio of strategic customers. Unlike a traditional TAM role, this position is hands-on and technical first. You will spend the majority of your time engaged with customer engineering teams on JVM performance tuning, troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and architectural guidance. Strong relationship skills matter, but it is technical credibility with developers, SREs, and architects that makes this role successful.
You will be trusted by Azul’s most important accounts to ensure that their mission-critical Java applications run on Prime with the best possible performance, stability, and cost efficiency. And you will serve as the bridge between customers and Azul’s engineering organization, feeding real-world insights back into the product.
What Makes This Role Different
Technical depth first. Expect to spend significant time reading thread dumps, GC logs, and flight recordings — not building slide decks.
Direct partnership with Azul engineering. You will work side-by-side with our runtime, GC, JIT compiler, and tooling teams on complex customer issues.
Ownership of technical outcomes. You own production adoption of Azul Prime within your accounts — from candidate application selection through successful rollout and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership
Own a portfolio of named strategic customers, with flexibility to engage additional high-value Azul Prime customers as opportunities arise.
Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders — SREs, Java developers, platform engineers, and architects.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support on joint account planning, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the primary technical advisor for Azul Prime across your accounts.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning engagements for JVM-based applications running at enterprise scale.
Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, and cloud cost optimization.
Work with customers to identify and qualify candidate applications for Azul Prime, then partner with them through successful production deployment.
Product & Engineering Partnership
Collaborate with Azul’s runtime, compiler, GC, and tooling engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Channel structured, actionable customer feedback into Azul’s product and engineering organizations to help shape the roadmap.
Act as a senior point of technical escalation for high-severity issues within your accounts.
Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
Design and deliver customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and technical business reviews.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable customer-facing assets for Azul Prime.
Share knowledge internally, mentoring peers across the TAM, Sales Engineering, and Support organizations.
Keep internal systems current with account activity, engagement notes, and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
12+ years in senior technical roles such as software engineering, SRE, performance engineering, or cloud/platform engineering.
8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (TAM, solutions architect, consulting engineer, or SRE with direct customer engagement).
Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals — garbage collection, JIT compilation, class loading, threading, and memory model.
Demonstrated experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting and performance troubleshooting on Linux systems.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from individual engineers to senior executives.
Based in North America and able to travel occasionally to customer sites (typically 10–20%).
Preferred Qualifications
Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning, GC behavior analysis, and low-latency Java applications.
Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, JFR, or similar APM tools).
Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern cloud-native Java deployment patterns.
Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
Contributions to open-source Java projects or active participation in the broader Java technical community.
Experience using Jira and Confluence to raise bugs and maintain documentation.
Prior experience with Azul Prime, OpenJDK, HotSpot, or other commercial Java runtimes.
Why Azul
At Azul, you will work alongside a team of Java experts who genuinely love the platform, on problems that matter to some of the most demanding engineering organizations in the world. Our technology powers mission-critical Java workloads at massive scale, and our customers rely on us precisely because we go deeper on Java than anyone else. If you want your technical expertise to have outsized impact — and you want to be surrounded by people who share that passion — we would love to talk!

🤖 WHO WE ARE
We’re building Mo — a health companion for everyone.
We’re a small team within Alan, on a mission to redefine the future of care by democratizing access to medical expertise. We are building Mo, an intelligent, empathetic, multimodal LLM-based conversational AI assistant able to prescribe, triage, and proactively follow up on care.
Imagine giving every person in the world instant, 24/7 access to personalised medical expertise - through chat, voice, or video. That’s what we are building 🤖.
We kicked off the project in 2023, and we have launched Mo to all our french members (1M) in Q1 2026, making it the first safe AI health companion live at scale in Europe.
🚀 WHAT KEEPS US UP AT NIGHT
We’re building a medical agent that works — reliably, safely, and at scale.
You’ll work at the intersection of product engineering, ML engineering, and medical expertise. Our mission is to build the most accurate and reliable medical agent in the world, while delivering an outstanding conversational experience. Things we’re working on:
- 💬 Deliver the most memorable chatting experience — You’ll work on making Mo the obvious choice when it comes to asking a health question. It means having a world-class snappy and delightful chatting experience, blazing fast time to answer, and rich content shared.
- 🧱 Integrate Mo with Alan services and our healthcare system — You’ll work on integrating Mo with our other services (digital chat with HP, map of physical location of HPs, tailored prevention programs, …) to help members get from words to actions.
- ➕ Extend our architecture to support the next chapters of Mo — You’ll work on our architecture, and agentic framework, to support Mo’s next needs (get more context, use new skills, be accessible in other countries we operate in)
If you’re excited by the idea of building the future of healthcare, this is the team for you - we're at the start of the journey. If you’re curious, here https://arxiv.org/abs/2411.12808 is a paper we published recently.
🎯 IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for Product engineers with 3+ years of experience who get excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
- You’ll work at the frontier of LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and human-in-the-loop learning — and see your work deployed in production, helping real people.
- You’ll implement new capabilities for Mo, working across engineering, data, and medical expertise
- You'll have deep product ownership over the use cases supported in Mo, making sure we actually help our members get and stay better.
- You’ll have significant influence on system architecture and code quality
- You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to our product & engineering culture, and help build the team (including participating in hiring, shaping our interview loops, etc.).
You would be a good fit in Mo if most of this sounds like you:
- Applied background in software engineering and systems architecture
- Experience with traditional ML, or LLMs, or ML dev ops is a big plus.
- Product-minded: you want your solutions to be used, and impactful
- Self-directed, pragmatic, driven, hard working
- Humble and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!)
- Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching
- Fluent in English (no need to speak French!)
- Ex-founders are typically great fit in our team
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply! Everything else is a bonus.
🤘 HOW WE DO IT ?
We benefit from Alan’s platform, infrastructure, distribution, and health expertise — but operate with the speed and focus of a startup.
