Your Opportunity:
Tenable Research is seeking a Senior Security Researcher - Cloud Security to join our highly technical product research team working at the core of our cloud security platform.
This is a rare opportunity to join an elite research team and do work that directly shapes our product. In this role, you will define how vulnerabilities in cloud assets are understood, enriched, and remediated. As AI floods production with vulnerabilities, you design the model and system that keeps teams ahead of it.
You will define the foundation for how cloud vulnerabilities are treated across the platform, from reachability and exploitability to effective resolution. Your work will directly shape product direction and set the standard for what handling vulns at scale actually means.
We are looking for an exceptional researcher who can bridge cloud security, application security, and vulnerability management. You are curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven to deeply understand how vulnerabilities manifest and how they are fixed across cloud environments and code.
Your Role:
Own Vulnerability Management Across Tenable's Cloud Security Platform: Define cloud vulnerability management by grounding findings in how exposure is actually created and what resolving it means for organizations. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to introduce the signals and data that validate exploitability and drive remediation. Establish the standard for what separates an actionable finding from a theoretical one.
Research Exploitability and Risk Context: Research how the security context around a finding affects its real-world risk and what resolving it looks like. Define how these factors shape prioritization and remediation across the platform.
Lead Remediation Research: Define how vulnerabilities across cloud and code map to the fixes that resolve them, and drive AI innovation in how remediation is understood and delivered at scale. Work with engineering and product to build the capabilities that close the loop from detection to resolution.
Publish and Present: Share research through technical blogs, reports, and leading industry conferences.
What You'll Need:
5+ years of hands-on experience in security research
Familiarity with real-world vulnerability management: triage, prioritization, remediation, and the gap between CVSS and actual impact
Strong technical background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including how vulnerabilities manifest across workloads, services, and code
Familiarity with application security tooling
Highly curious, self-driven, and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-evolving problem spaces
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical findings
And Ideally:
Experience with exploit research, full-chain attack analysis, or CVE-to-fix resolution across complex dependency chains
Experience leveraging AI and agentic workflows for security research and analysis
Background in application security, secure code review, or supply chain security
Hands-on experience with SBOM tooling, container scanning, or software composition analysis pipelines
Track record of published research, conference talks, or technical blog posts
Experience working with product teams and delivering value to customers through the product

Job Summary
The Bugcrowd RL and Reasoning Team focuses on pushing the boundaries of autonomous cybersecurity by building authentic, verifiable reinforcement learning environments for world-leading foundational AI companies. As a Reinforcement Learning Engineer specializing in Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR), you will design and scale automated verification pipelines that transform real-world software vulnerabilities into deterministic reward functions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between low-level security analysis and modern LLM reasoning models, engineering environments where AI agents learn to discover, exploit, and remediate software vulnerabilities with mathematical certainty. Instead of relying on subjective human feedback, your work directly powers the rigorous, verifiable reward signals that teach next-generation frontier AI models how to master complex cybersecurity domain logic. You will work at the intersection of fuzzing, dynamic program analysis, system exploitation, and scalable ML infrastructure to shape the safety and offensive/defensive capabilities of future artificial intelligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy high-throughput RLVR (Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards) environments that evaluate LLM action sequences against deterministic execution outcomes.
Develop automated test harnesses, sandboxes, and verification engines that convert complex vulnerability research (e.g., memory corruption, web security, logic bugs) into binary pass/fail reward signals.
Integrate Bugcrowd’s Mayhem automated analysis platform and real-world vulnerability feeds into continuous, scalable RL environment generation pipelines.
Architect safe, isolated, and highly reproducible execution environments (using Docker, BuildKit, or Nix) capable of running thousands of simultaneous agent-driven exploitation and patching trajectories.
Collaborate directly with researchers at frontier AI labs including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere to define standard benchmark formats, observation spaces, and verifiable evaluation metrics for cybersecurity tasks.
Implement precise telemetry, ground-truth verification algorithms, and trajectory logging to analyze agent reasoning paths and prevent reward hacking or false positives.
Build low-level instrumentation and debugging tools to monitor memory states, process executions, and network behaviors during agent interaction cycles.
Optimize infrastructure performance and environment reset latency to support massive-scale parallel sampling and distributed RL training workflows.
Benchmark and evaluate frontier AI model performance across diverse offensive and defensive security challenges, such as automated fuzzing, exploit payload generation, and patch validation.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of RL training workflows used by modern LLM systems, specifically execution-based feedback or Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR).
Proficiency developing applications in Python and low-level systems programming in C, with Rust experience being a strong plus.
Solid understanding of software vulnerabilities, binary exploitation, fuzzing methodologies, or program analysis.
Experience with DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), reproducible builds (Docker, BuildKit, Nix), and comfort working with Linux systems and low-level debugging.
Experience working with or building benchmark environments (e.g., CTFs, SWE-bench, security challenges, or execution sandboxes).
Preferred Experience
Experience designing custom reward functions, ground-truth verifiers, or automated grading engines for AI safety and reasoning models.
Background in low-level program analysis tools, sanitizers (e.g., ASan/MSan), compiler instrumentation, or automated exploit generation tools.
Proven track record of participating in or developing competitive cybersecurity benchmarks, CTFs, or open-source AI evaluation frameworks.

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Senior Engineering Manager to join our Disputes team. Our mission is to build the tools, services, and models that help merchants manage and win disputes at scale - reducing the cost and operational burden of chargebacks while protecting revenue for our merchants and our business.
Disputes sit at the intersection of merchant-facing products, complex scheme and regulatory processes, and data-driven decisioning. Our team owns the full stack, anchored by a .NET back end that manages the dispute lifecycle and integrates with card schemes, alongside the front-end experiences merchants use to track and respond to disputes and the machine learning models that predict outcomes and recommend the best action on every case.
We're building for scale, and that scale brings ambiguity, shifting priorities, and the occasional setback - so we're looking for a resilient leader who has built and sustained high-performing teams, learned from failure, and come back stronger. Above all, you'll be someone who drives predictable delivery and operational efficiency: shipping consistently, running systems reliably, and continuously improving how the team works. The ideal candidate has operated across both enterprise and scale-up environments and has a proven track record of driving growth within large, complex, regulated organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team centred on a .NET back end, with front-end and machine learning components, helping engineers establish and validate their understanding of technical architecture and design end-user-centric systems and tools.
- Own predictable, high-velocity delivery — establishing healthy engineering practices, sensible estimation, and a smooth path from idea to production so the team ships consistently and sustainably.
- Drive operational efficiency and reliability by automating processes — including monitoring and alerting — meeting SLAs/SLOs, reducing operational cost, and minimising toil to keep the team focused on high-value work rather t
- Continuously improve delivery and operational metrics (e.g. cycle time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and incident response), using data to identify bottlenecks and raises the bar over time.
- Manage team engineers across various seniority levels and disciplines while staying hands-on when needed. Cultivate an inclusive environment where every team member feels they belong, and mentors them in both their career development and interpersonal skills. Make a good team great, and keep it great..
- Oversee quarterly execution of roadmap delivery, ensuring the team stays focused on the right priorities and manages efficiently through dependencies and cross-functional hurdles.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver solutions for merchant and internal dispute use cases.
- Build and strengthen relationships with engineers, managers, and people leads across multiple teams.
- Operating in a highly regulated financial space, ensure compliance with a range of control frameworks — from internal stakeholders such as InfoSec and Internal
- Audit, to external auditors, card schemes, and regulators.
- Oversee the responsible use of machine learning and AI in dispute decisioning, leading the team to develop the infrastructure, tooling, and governance required to run models safely and at scale in production.
About You
- A resilient leader who has learned from setbacks and failures and consistently comes back stronger, keeping teams steady and delivering through periods of change and ambiguity.
- You thrive on pace. You're energised by a high-growth environment, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information, and you keep the team moving and shipping when priorities shift under you.
- A proven track record of driving predictable delivery and operational efficiency — improving throughput, reliability, and the team's cost of operation, and using metrics to back it up.
- Proven experience building, growing, and sustaining high-performing engineering teams over time — not just standing them up.
- Experience across both enterprise and scale-up environments, with a demonstrated track record of driving growth and delivery within large, complex, regulated organisations.
- A strong back-end engineering background, ideally in .NET / C#, leading teams building scalable, event-driven services and APIs. Comfortable also overseeing front-end and machine learning work, able to earn credibility and make sound trade-offs across disciplines even where you aren't the deepest expert.
- Able to partner with Product Management to assess technical feasibility, provide capacity estimates, and balance new features against architectural health.
- Excellent time management and proactive problem-solving skills.
Technologies we work with
- Back end (primary): .NET / C#, REST APIs, event-driven and microservice architectures.
- Front end: React, TypeScript.
- Machine learning: Python, model training and serving, and the infrastructure to run models in production.
- Data & platform: SQL, plus experience designing batch and stream data-processing systems.
- Cloud & tooling: AWS and/or GCP, Docker, Terraform, and observability tooling such as Datadog.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.

Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role
You'll own regulatory license application projects for Salmon, managing submissions to the BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and other regulators as the company expands its licensed products and geographies. This is a hands-on role for someone who goes deep into the detail, drafts the materials themselves, and keeps applications moving.
What you'll do
- Work within a small, dedicated licensing function, coordinating across legal, compliance, finance, product, and PMO teams to move license applications forward
- Serve as the primary on-the-ground point of contact in Manila for licensing projects, working closely with a remote team lead
- Navigate regulatory back-and-forth: drafting responses, tracking open items, and keeping stakeholders aligned across multiple concurrent applications
- Keep applications on track by explaining the regulatory context and requirements behind each request, so stakeholders understand what is needed and why, and escalating with clear facts and impact when inputs are blocked
What you'll own
- End-to-end management of regulatory license applications, from initial pack preparation through regulator approval
- Drafting application documentation yourself (application letters, governance materials, and corporate documents), bringing in the relevant stakeholders for input/support where needed and sign-off
- Timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple license projects simultaneously, pushing stakeholders to deliver on time and escalating risks early
- Coordination with legal, compliance, finance, and business owners to gather inputs and ensure submissions are accurate and complete
- Ongoing communication with regulators, tracking questions, comments, and required follow-ups through to closure
- Supporting the transition of licensing projects from the PMO team into the dedicated licensing function
What makes you a strong fit
- 3-5 years of experience combining legal, regulatory, and project management work on complex, multi-stakeholder projects in financial services or fintech
- Hands-on experience with license applications for financial activities (e.g. banking, e-money/payments, securities/trading, lending) or comparable fintech regulatory projects, at a bank, payment company, EMI, trading firm, or financial institution, or through law firm or Big Four advisory work in financial services
- Strong drafting skills: you're comfortable reading regulations, interpreting requirements, and writing submission-ready documents
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot gaps and inconsistencies before the regulator does
- Confident and persistent with stakeholders at all levels: you explain the "why" behind each request with clear regulatory context and detail, follow up, push back, and escalate when needed, while keeping relationships constructive
- Comfortable working with Confluence, JIRA, and Slack as core operating tools
- Relocation to Manila is required

Strong knowledge of national procurement review procedures and EU public procurement law, including the EU Directives and the EU Financial Regulation rules for procurement by EU institutions; experience before the EU courts is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to assess legal risk proportionately, manage external counsel and budgets, and communicate clearly with senior management and boards.
Experience guiding or mentoring other lawyers.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; French or other European languages are a strong plus.

About the role
We’re looking for a highly autonomous Senior Data & ML Engineer who wants to be the true owner of how data works for the teams they support, delivering solutions completely end-to-end, from initial scoping and design through to delivery, implementation, and full business adoption.
Operating with full autonomy, you will work directly with both commercial stakeholders (Product, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing) and engineering teams. You will translate complex needs into well-defined and well-modelled data products, using scalable processes and pipelines, ensuring those solutions are trusted, documented, and actively used to drive business value.
Beyond foundational data architecture, you will support and lead machine learning engineering efforts. You will lead machine learning engineering efforts by transitioning predictive models into production. This involves building the infrastructure, automated MLOps pipelines, and serving architectures required to deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning solutions at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
Data Engineering and Platform
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations on Databricks using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Deploy, operationalize, and monitor machine learning models (MLOps) in production environments.
Build and maintain data marts as the primary source of truth for key business domains.
Apply data modelling practices (e.g., dimensional modelling, medallion architecture) to maintain data consistency and reusability.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting.
Optimise pipeline performance and cost-efficiency.
Lead and actively contribute to engineering standards and process improvements across the data team.
Ownership and Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary data partner for specific business areas, understanding their processes, goals, and pain points.
Deliver end-to-end solutions, managing scoping, discovery, design, delivery, user adoption, and iteration.
Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Communicate with engineering peers and commercial stakeholders to define priorities and manage trade-offs.
Identify opportunities where data or machine learning can improve decisions, efficiency, or customer outcomes.
Enablement and Self-Service
Build and maintain datasets that power reporting and dashboards in Preset.
Onboard and support users on Preset to promote data self-sufficiency.
Promote data practices, including data definitions, documentation, and governance.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
5+ years of experience as a Data/ML Engineer, with a track record of independently owning data/ML solutions from scoping to adoption.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark/Spark.
Experience with modern data platforms, such as Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, workflows).
Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate commercial and engineering discussions, manage expectations, and drive cross-functional decisions.
Data modelling skills and experience designing data marts for analytics and reporting.
Experience building production pipelines with orchestration, testing, monitoring, and version control.
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Preset, Tableau, Metabase, Power BI) and data usability principles.
Demonstrated accountability for project outcomes and commercial impact.
Clear, structured communication in English.
Nice to Have
Experience in ML Engineering, including deploying machine learning models to production, maintaining MLOps pipelines, and integrating models into data platforms.
Experience in fintech, financial services, or payments, particularly regarding transaction, reconciliation, settlement, or regulatory reporting data.
Experience with sensitive or regulated data and an understanding of data privacy and governance (e.g., GDPR).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/Tofu), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and data engineering CI/CD.
Experience mentoring engineers or analysts.
Interest in applying AI tools to improve data engineering productivity and quality.
