What You'll Do
Conduct introductory and discovery calls with prospective clients, understand their hiring needs, and confidently present Bamboo Works' remote staffing solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and qualification through to closing and client onboarding handover.
Handle inbound leads generated through advertising, email campaigns, and other lead-generation initiatives.
Proactively identify and pursue additional business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and other sales strategies.
Focus on closing staffing engagements for roles such as Virtual Assistants, Executive Assistants, Social Media Managers, Graphic Designers, and other administrative, creative, and operational positions.
Lead client conversations independently, including understanding requirements, aligning expectations, explaining our service model, and agreeing on next steps.
Follow up with prospective clients, address objections, and move opportunities toward conversion.
Coordinate with the Client Success and Recruitment teams to ensure a smooth transition once a client is secured.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate records of meetings, opportunities, and conversions.
Manage a high volume of sales activity, with an expectation of
20+ client meetings per week and a target of at least 5 new clients or staffing seats per month
.
Contribute to building a consistent and scalable pipeline of new business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Proven sales experience within a staffing, recruitment, or remote staffing agency is essential (at least 2 years).
A few years of relevant experience in business development or sales, with a demonstrated track record of independently conducting discovery calls and closing staffing deals.
Direct experience selling staffing solutions for roles such as VAs, EAs, Social Media Managers, Graphic Designers, or similar positions.
Strong understanding of the staffing sales process, from client discovery and qualification through to closing and handover.
Ability to step into client-facing meetings immediately
, with minimal training or supervision.
Experience handling both inbound sales opportunities and proactive outbound business development.
Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to build rapport, identify client needs, handle objections, and convert opportunities into paying clients.
Highly proactive, self-motivated, organized, and commercially driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with internal teams.
Proven, measurable sales results
, including closed deals, client acquisition, or staffing seats secured.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience selling offshore or outsourced staffing solutions to US-based clients.
An existing professional network of prospective clients or referral partners.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and automated lead-generation processes.
Why Join Bamboo Works?
At Bamboo Works, we believe great salespeople should have the opportunity to directly benefit from the business they bring in.
You'll join a growing international staffing company with an established recruitment delivery team, ongoing lead-generation initiatives, and a clear opportunity to contribute to our continued expansion.
You'll have access to inbound opportunities while also having the freedom to leverage your own network, prospecting strategies, and business development initiatives.
Our compensation structure combines a base rate with significant performance-based earning opportunities
, rewarding successful client acquisition and closed deals.
We're looking for someone who enjoys sales, thrives in a high-performance environment, and wants to play a meaningful role in growing an international staffing business.
