ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Container runtimes were designed for general-purpose software workloads. AI inference is not a general-purpose workload.
Running large models at production scale exposes cracks in every layer of the container stack: runtimes unaware of GPU memory constraints, images that take minutes to pull when a model needs to scale to thousands of replicas, and isolation mechanisms that weren’t designed for the multi-tenant serving environments that production AI requires. The tools the industry has relied on for a decade weren’t built for this, and patching around those limitations at higher layers only goes so far.
Baseten owns the entire pipeline, from the moment a developer pushes a model to the moment a request gets a response. That vertical ownership means we can fix these problems at the root. The Runtime Fabric team is doing exactly that: purpose-building the container runtime and storage layers for AI inference workloads, led by some of the world’s top containerd maintainers.
As Engineering Manager for Storage Products on the Runtime Fabric team, you will lead the engineers who build and run the storage products behind that stack: the Baseten Delivery Network (BDN), which sits in the cold start path of every model on the platform, the snapshotters and filesystems that expose model weights and container images to a running container, and the storage that model deployment and training need next. The team is advancing the next generation of caching for inference workloads, from the origin tier to the GPU host. You will own reliability for the area as a measured outcome, report to the head of Runtime Fabric, and stay close to the code through design and code review. If you’ve managed systems engineers and have hands-on experience with caching, content-addressable storage, or distributed filesystems, we’d love to talk.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
- How the Baseten Delivery Network (BDN) makes cold starts fast https://www.baseten.co/blog/how-the-baseten-delivery-network-bdn-makes-cold-starts-fast/
- Extending BDN from model weights to container image layers, training checkpoints, and deployment artifacts
- Lazy-loading snapshotters and block-level delivery (EROFS, FUSE, ublk) so a container can start before the full image or model has arrived
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership and Culture
- Hire and grow a team of 5 to 10 systems engineers with storage, caching, and Linux expertise
- Run the team’s planning and delivery: scope work against the Runtime Fabric roadmap, set priorities, and ship on a predictable cadence
- Provide regular coaching, feedback, and career development support to your direct reports
- Own on-call health for the team’s services, including escalation paths and follow-through on incidents
Technical Direction
- Guide the architecture and evolution of the Baseten Delivery Network: the tiered caching and weight delivery product that makes cold starts 2-3x faster and eliminates thundering herd failures during burst scaling events
- Shape storage products tailored to Baseten’s workloads: extend BDN from model weights to container images, training checkpoints, and deployment artifacts, and define the interfaces that model deployment, training, and customers use to reach them
- Oversee the on-host side of delivery: lazy-loading snapshotters, EROFS and overlayfs layouts, and block-level delivery (FUSE, ublk) for multi-gigabyte files
- Own reliability of the delivery path as a measured outcome: end-to-end instrumentation from snapshotter initialization to first inference request, targets for cold start and cache behavior, tolerance for failing upstream registries and object stores, and safe rollout of changes to a path every customer depends on
- Make the delivery path work across heterogeneous clusters and cloud providers, each with its own object store and network
- Review designs and code across the area, and take on hands-on work where it unblocks the team
- Champion the team’s contributions back to containerd and the snapshotter ecosystem alongside the maintainers on the Runtime Fabric team
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Act as the point of contact for storage across Baseten, ensuring model deployment, training, and platform teams have the integration support they need
- Optimize requirements for the underlying storage platforms with the infrastructure team: object storage, local NVMe and block storage, and network bandwidth per cluster, so that capacity and provider decisions account for what the delivery path needs
- Manage the team’s dependencies in both directions: sequence work that model deployment, training, and infrastructure teams block on, and negotiate interfaces and timelines with the teams and upstream projects the storage path depends on
- Work with the head of Runtime Fabric and product stakeholders to prioritize storage investments based on customer impact and infrastructure reliability
- Communicate team progress, technical trade-offs, and incidents clearly to the team and to leadership
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience managing a team of engineers in a systems, infrastructure, or storage context, including hiring and performance management
- Hands-on background in distributed storage systems, content-addressable storage, or large-scale caching infrastructure
- Strong systems programming background in Go, Rust, and/or C/C++, with the ability to engage credibly in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Working knowledge of the Linux storage stack: filesystems, the page cache, block devices, and mounts
- Understanding of how container images are structured, stored, and delivered at scale
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across teams
NICE TO HAVE
- Contributions to containerd/containerd, snapshotter projects (stargz, soci, nydus, overlaybd), distribution/distribution, or closely related open-source projects
- Familiarity with lazy-loading snapshotters or peer-to-peer image distribution
- Experience with EROFS, FUSE, ublk, or io_uring
- Experience building or operating CDN, object storage, or large-scale caching infrastructure
- Experience running storage services on Kubernetes
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack QA Engineer with a background in fintech, banking or other finance-related products to join our banking QA team. We build mobile banking apps on shared backend APIs. You will test both mobile apps and backend services by hand and help us build test automation for APIs and mobile apps. Our products move real money - cards, transfers, payments - so quality here matters.
What You Will Do
Test new features and run regression for iOS and Android apps;
Test backend APIs and integrations: requests, responses, logs;
Design and maintain test cases and checklists in TestRail;
Build, maintain and run automated API tests with Postman and Newman in GitLab CI;
Maintain and extend our existing Java / REST Assured API test framework (TestRail integration, Allure reporting), and bring it back to regular runs;
Contribute to mobile UI test automation for iOS and Android — together with developers in their native test suites or with cross-platform tools — with a focus on end-to-end checks against the real backend;
Prepare test data and test accounts for automated and manual runs;
Help evolve our test automation approach and tooling;
Clarify requirements directly with developers and product managers — we have no business analysts, so you will often find out how things should work yourself;
Take part in release checks (release candidate testing, post-release smoke) and help improve QA processes;
Use AI tools to speed up your work — and verify what they produce.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer;
Experience in fintech, banking, payments or other finance-related products;
Solid test design skills: you write test cases and checklists from short task descriptions;
Hands-on experience testing mobile apps on both iOS and Android (TestFlight / Firebase builds);
Strong API testing skills: HTTP, REST, status codes, authorization;
Hands-on API test automation: comfortable reading and extending automated API tests in code (Java or Kotlin preferred) and writing simple tests by analogy - not framework architecture from scratch - plus Postman/Newman (scripts, environments, collections); experience running it in CI;
Proxy tools - Charles or Proxyman: inspecting traffic, breakpoints, mocking responses;
Working with logs to localise bugs;
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude: you ask questions, dig into unclear tasks and own the result;
Readiness to test manually - this is not a pure automation role;
Russian - native․
Nice to have
Building test automation in code from scratch: framework, CI pipeline, reporting;
GitLab CI: pipelines, schedules, artifacts;
Basic SQL;
Mobile UI test automation: Appium, Espresso/Kaspresso or XCUITest;
Experience with feature flags and testing releases with partial rollout.
Benefits
Fully remote work;
Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 10:00/11:00 to 18:00/19:00 Moscow/Cyprus time;
A service agreement with a Cyprus or Kazakhstan based company;
A fixed monthly salary in euros;
Paid annual leave of 21 working days;
Paid sick leave;
Public holidays: New Year holidays through January 4-6, plus May 1-2 or May 8-9;
One additional paid day off per month;
The opportunity to attend conferences and take training courses at the company's expense;
Challenging and engaging tasks;
Training on the company's products and processes;
A genuinely comfortable and professional working environment;
Opportunities to grow and develop together with the company and its products.

Live-session coaching, form cues, and technique demonstrations.

Proven experience as a personal trainer / fitness coach (typically 5+ years of active practice).
Bachelor's in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field, plus a recognized certification (e.g., ACE / NASM / NCSF / NSCA / ACSM / NESTA / ISSA), current or renewal in progress.
Strong communication in English and local language; able to simplify concepts for non-experts.

Comfortable working within a structured, credit-based consultation model — even if your background involved longer-term or clinical care.

Location: Madrid, Spain
About the Company:
Our client is a global education group bringing together a growing network of more than 20 schools across Europe, Asia and Latin America. The group operates physical schools offering education from kindergarten through to secondary education, combining international schools with local institutions while preserving their individual identities.
They are building a global platform focused on supporting its schools, strengthening operational capabilities and driving sustainable growth. With its headquarters in Madrid, the group is expanding its central finance function to support its growing international portfolio and is looking for a
Management Accountant
to join its FP&A team.
About the Role
The Management Accountant will support the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts, analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across the group's international school portfolio.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY AND BUSINESS SUPPORT
• Support the central finance function through the group management accounts cycle, working as part of a small team being built from scratch.
• Report to the Head of FP&A, playing a central role in the preparation and review of the group’s monthly management accounts as the function continues to be built out.
• Build strong working relationships with school finance leads across the portfolio as a key contributor across the management reporting cycle, alongside significant exposure to the Madrid head office team.
• Help establish robust, well-documented management accounts processes, controls, and ways of working that can scale as the group grows, ensuring continuity and consistency as the team and portfolio expand.
PREPARATION OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS
• Prepare the consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow and supporting schedules, drawing together submissions from across the school portfolio into a single group view.
• Apply agreed group conventions consistently, including FX rates, consolidation adjustments, and presentation formats, ensuring outputs are comparable across schools and over time.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actuals to budget, forecast and prior periods, with clear commentary on the key drivers of movements for review by the Head of FP&A.
• Maintain clear, well-documented working files and supporting schedules for each reporting cycle, so that the basis for every figure in the management accounts is transparent and can be traced and understood.
MONTH-END REVIEWS
• Carry out structured month-end reviews of school-level submissions, checking arithmetic accuracy, internal consistency, and alignment with group reporting conventions before consolidation.
• Identify and follow up on anomalies, unusual movements, or inconsistencies in school submissions, working with school finance leads to resolve queries ahead of the reporting deadline.
• Support the Head of FP&A in reviewing the consolidated management accounts prior to distribution, flagging any areas requiring further explanation or correction.
• Help embed a consistent month-end review checklist and timetable across the portfolio, contributing to its ongoing refinement, controls, and documentation as the function develops.
DATA, SYSTEMS, AND INTEGRITY
• Own the integrity of management accounts outputs, including consolidation, reporting, and supporting files, ensuring formulas, links, and consolidation logic are accurate and free of errors.
• Take ownership and maintain clear, well-organised documentation of management accounts processes, templates, data conventions, and reporting logic, so that methodologies are transparent and repeatable across the team.
• Implement and maintain quality control checks across the management accounts and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency before submission to senior stakeholders.
BUSINESS PARTNERING
• Act as the first point of contact for schools on any management accounts queries, providing timely and clear responses or escalating to the Head of FP&A where required.
• Work closely with the Financial Accountant and wider accounting team, who are responsible for the underlying statutory accounts that feed into the management accounts, ensuring a clear handover, shared understanding of account structures, and timely resolution of queries between the two functions.
• Support the Head of FP&A in preparing materials for the CFO and other senior stakeholders, ensuring outputs are accurate, well-documented, and clearly presented.
Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Qualified accountant or finalist (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Sound understanding of management accounting principles, including P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow preparation, variance analysis, and consolidation.
• Competent Excel skills, with experience working with templates and processes across multiple teams or entities.
• Conscientious, accurate, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables under reporting deadlines, with a strong instinct for documentation and process.
• Confident communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues across finance functions and school finance leads.
• Full professional fluency in English is essential; additional languages relevant to the portfolio are an advantage.
• Experience in the K-12 or international schools sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and evolve our new Common case-management system, which powers support-case handling across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
You will own significant end-to-end initiatives across our backend services: case lifecycle, routing and assignment, queue management, case evidence and history, and migration from legacy systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn ambiguous customer and operational problems into durable technical solutions, coordinate other engineers, and set the standard for reliability and craftsmanship on the team.
What you’ll do
Lead one or more project-level Case Management initiatives, on your own or by guiding a group of engineers, from discovery and design through rollout, measurement, and operational ownership.
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for case creation, routing, assignment, transfers, audit history, notes, attachments, and queue-management workflows.
Help deliver feature parity with legacy platforms while safely migrating traffic across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
Make and own most technical decisions within your scope. Write project-level design documents covering how sub-features interact, identify dependencies and risks, and break work into parallelizable delivery plans.
Scope ambiguous customer and operational problems, weigh long-term against short-term trade-offs, and design durable solutions.
Partner with Product, Operations, Support, Data, and other engineering teams to define the right problems. Shape the team roadmap through prototypes, data analysis, project proposals, and backlog prioritization.
Run the coordination a project needs, such as status updates and dependency tracking, and escalate early to keep delivery on time.
Enforce team-wide quality objectives: lead design reviews, calibrate quality metrics, and improve logging, monitoring, alerting, and escalation policies.
Serve as first responder or incident commander, model good incident practice, and turn what you learn into playbooks and backlog work.
Introduce and guide AI best practices for the team, including evals, data privacy, and review of AI-generated code, and take part in AI-powered projects when they are central to the product.
Design reusable, self-serviceable solutions, and consider cost efficiency, including compute and AI costs, in key designs.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, tech talks, and constructive feedback. Interview candidates, join sell calls, and take part in hiring events when the team needs them.
Must-have qualifications
Strong backend engineering experience, including designing and operating backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and data models at meaningful scale.
Proficiency in at least one modern backend language, and a record of writing exemplary code for the core functionality of key components.
Demonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing or operations-critical projects from technical design through production rollout.
Experience breaking projects into parallelizable work, identifying dependencies and risks, and giving accurate estimates for yourself and others.
Hands-on experience using AI development tools to improve productivity, while validating generated output for correctness, security, privacy, maintainability, and reliability.
Strong product judgment: the ability to turn ambiguous workflows and user needs into simple, maintainable technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions, bring the right stakeholders into decisions at the right time, and explain trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong engineering craft: testing, code review, observability, incident response, security, and operational readiness, with experience designing for reliability.
Comfort working on systems with high correctness and auditability requirements, including traceability of decisions and changes.
A mentoring mindset and a record of raising team-wide engineering standards.
Nice-to-have qualifications
Go experience.
Experience with migration from legacy systems, gradual rollouts, traffic shadowing, and feature-parity programs.
Experience supporting internal tools or operational user interfaces from the backend side.
Experience with high-volume, multi-region, or multi-tenant systems.
Experience as an incident commander or in running an on-call rotation.
Experience building AI-powered features, including evaluation of model output.
What success looks like
Delivers a major Case Management initiative with clear technical ownership, predictable execution, and measurable customer or business impact.
Improves the reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency of the Common system while enabling safe migration from legacy case-management systems.
Helps move support traffic onto the Common system without reducing case-resolution quality.
Builds solutions that other engineers and operators can confidently reuse and operate.
Acts as a technical leader within the team: unblocks peers and partner teams, improves engineering decisions, influences the roadmap, and strengthens cross-functional execution.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is hiring its first dedicated Physical Security Lead to build and run the program that protects our people, our leaders, our events, and our offices. Our footprint now spans a multi-floor New York headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and a growing set of hubs across North America and Europe. Our leaders are increasingly visible on public stages.
You'll own three areas in roughly equal measure: executive protection, event security, and office security (access control, cameras, guards, and building security). Your job is to turn a set of strong vendors and partner teams into one measurable, risk-based program.
This is a high-ownership IC role on the Corporate Security team. It reports to the Director of IT & Corporate Security and is based at our NYC HQ. This is a physical security role; cybersecurity and information security are owned by other Ramp security teams. We aren't looking for a guard supervisor or a box-checker. We want someone who makes it safe for Ramp to move fast, host great events, and keep our leaders accessible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run Ramp's executive protection program:
- Protective risk assessments and residential security reviews.
- Domestic and international travel security.
- Advance work for high-visibility appearances.
- Selecting, standing up, and managing our executive protection provider.
- Turn threat intelligence into protective action. Partner with Detection & Response to move from online threat and exposure monitoring to threat assessments, personal-information exposure reduction, and clear escalation playbooks.
- Own security for internal and external events, from all-hands and offsites to conferences, customer events, and executive dinners:
- Risk-tiered intake and written security plans.
- Coordination with venues and vendors.
- On-site leadership for the highest-risk events.
- After-action reviews.
- Set Ramp's global physical security standards for access control, video surveillance, intercoms, visitor management, and alarm monitoring. Tier them for headquarters, Ramp-managed offices, and flexible or serviced hub spaces.
- Build security into every new office, move, and expansion:
- Write the security design requirements and review drawings.
- Manage integrators through installation and acceptance testing.
- Partner with IT on network and identity integration.
- Manage the guard program and security vendors end to end: scope, post orders, SLAs and KPIs, budget, and quarterly business reviews. Own the security relationship with landlords and building management.
- Lead emergency preparedness and physical incident response:
- Emergency notifications, evacuation and shelter-in-place plans, and drills.
- Liaison with local law enforcement.
- Workplace-violence prevention, in partnership with People and Legal.
- Run physical access governance with IT. Tie access to joiner/mover/leaver events, run regular access reviews, and keep audit-ready evidence for physical security controls.
- Measure and report program health to leadership. Use AI and automation to scale the program without scaling headcount.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 6+ years in corporate or physical security, including 3+ years owning a security program or major workstream at a multi-site company. Executing someone else's program doesn't count toward this.
- Hands-on depth in at least two of the three areas (executive protection, event security, physical security systems such as access control and cameras) and solid working knowledge of the third.
- Experience administering or deploying enterprise access control and video platforms (e.g., Avigilon Alta/Openpath, Verkada, Genetec, LenelS2), and partnering with IT on networking and SSO.
- A track record of managing security vendors (guard, protection, integrator, event staffing) through contracts, SLAs, budgets, and performance reviews.
- Strong risk judgment. You size controls to the actual threat, explain the tradeoffs, and lead with "here's how we do this safely" rather than "no."
- Excellent writing. You can produce a crisp SOP, an event security plan, and a one-page executive brief.
- Willingness to work from our NYC office 4 days a week, travel 10–15%, support occasional evening and weekend events, and serve as primary on-call for physical security incidents (with the Director as backup and guard and vendor partners as on-site first response).
- Real, day-to-day use of AI tools in your work.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- ASIS CPP or PSP; formal executive protection training; first aid or Stop the Bleed certification.
- Experience at a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services company with a high-profile founder or CEO.
- Experience writing security design standards for office buildouts and reading architectural or low-voltage drawings.
- Familiarity with physical and environmental control requirements in SOC 2, PCI DSS, or FedRAMP.
- A government protective, law enforcement, or military background, combined with corporate program ownership.
- An established network of protection, event security, and integrator vendors in NYC, SF, and internationally.
FAIR WARNING
- This is a builder role. Parts of the program exist today (vendors, a responsibility matrix, some SOPs). You'll turn them into a system.
- You're an IC who directs vendors and partner teams, not a manager of a security staff. You'll need to influence Workplace, Events, IT, Executive Assistants, People, and Legal without formal authority.
- Security at Ramp enables the business. Events still happen, offices stay welcoming, and executives stay accessible. Your job is to make that safe.
- Evenings, weekends, and travel come with the territory, especially around major events.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

Location: Melbourne
The Role
You’ll own a net-new enterprise territory in Melbourne. Most of your number comes from accounts that don’t buy from us yet.
New business usually starts with a team already running ClickHouse — open source, or a Cloud account someone expensed — until a bill or a security review pushes the conversation up to the platform team and the budget owner. Common triggers: an Elasticsearch or Splunk bill that’s hard to defend, a warehouse that can’t serve a customer-facing feature fast enough, an AI product querying tens of billions of rows.
You’ll carry a small set of existing accounts alongside the hunt, where growth comes from new teams inside an account that already buys from us. One team lands a workload, it works, and four other teams have a similar problem. But the bulk of this role is finding and opening accounts that aren’t on our map yet.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle for new accounts in your territory — first conversation through security review, procurement, and close, on Cloud commitments and multi-year committed spend.
- Build your own pipeline. Self-sourced outbound is the primary input to this territory, not a supplement to inbound.
- Find and convert existing ClickHouse usage in new accounts. Unmanaged open-source deployments and self-serve Cloud accounts are the highest-yield source of new pipeline in this segment.
- Multi-thread across the data platform team, the budget owner, security, and the executive sponsor rather than relying on a single champion.
- Work with your Solutions Architect through the technical evaluation. They own the technical win, you own the commercial strategy and the close.
- Run the procurement path: security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding, and BYOC or private-deployment requirements, including Australian data residency where it’s required.
- Give your champion the internal business case — TCO comparison against the incumbent, migration plan, and risk mitigation.
- Grow the accounts you land by mapping the remaining teams and use cases and building an expansion plan against them.
- Watch consumption trends across your accounts and engage early when usage flattens or spikes. Both are signals.
- Keep Salesforce accurate and submit a forecast leadership can plan against.
- Participate in the developer community in your territory: meetups, conferences, and events across Melbourne.
What You Bring
- 6+ years selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers — databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, observability, or developer tooling.
- A track record of self-sourced pipeline. You can explain your weekly prospecting approach and what actually works for you.
- Experience selling into Melbourne and Victorian enterprise accounts, and familiarity with how procurement and security review run here.
- A track record closing complex deals that went through security review, legal, and procurement.
- Enough technical fluency to hold an architecture conversation. You don’t need to write SQL, but you should be able to explain why a company moves a workload off Elasticsearch.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models, where revenue moves with usage between contract events.
- Experience selling into developer-led, bottom-up adoption as well as top-down.
- Ability to orchestrate people who don’t report to you — Solutions Architects, executive sponsors, partners, product managers.
- Comfort building a territory from scratch rather than inheriting mature coverage.
- Accurate forecasting, including when the number is bad.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
