An overview of this role
Support Engineering at GitLab isn’t just a title - you will be embedded within the Engineering department and will truly operate in an environment where Support and Engineering meet. You’ll interact with customers daily as they encounter the difficult edge cases of running GitLab in complex environments. In the space of a day, you might be doing behind the scenes work of a Linux administrator troubleshooting performance problems by using strace on a particular process, interacting with the Product team to ensure that steps in a bug report are reproducible, or interacting with the Engineering team itself by diving deep into our codebase and putting together a merge request to actually fix a customer issue.
That’s not all though - you’d equally be invited to contribute to the source code, improve our documentation, and help build out more efficient support processes in our issue tracker. We want to live in a world where everyone can contribute, and as a member of the support team, there are no barriers to using your skills to improve the experience of our users and customers.

Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, we're constantly looking for ways to make our Support organization smarter, more efficient, and more scalable. You'll partner with stakeholders across local and global teams to turn ideas into action — using data, structured project management, and continuous improvement to deliver meaningful impact at scale. Whether you're an experienced specialist or a seasoned lead, you'll have the opportunity to influence how Support evolves across our organization.
What you'll be doing
As an Operational Excellence Team Manager, you'll own initiatives from concept through implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges and improve the way we support our customers.
In this role you will…
Lead multiple strategic projects and initiatives from planning through execution.
Define project scope, build work plans, manage timelines, and coordinate delivery across teams.
Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to align priorities and drive successful outcomes.
Analyze operational data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Design, test, and validate new processes and ways of working through pilots before wider rollout.
Drive implementation of new initiatives while ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
Monitor key performance metrics to evaluate impact and identify further improvement opportunities.
Help standardize processes, improve operational efficiency, and share best practices across markets.
Review post launch performance of initiatives - identifying opportunities to improve further and course correcting in a timely manner.
Facilitate customer feedback on projects following launch - ensuring feedback loops are developed to pass information back to relevant teams.
Own deep dives on specific topics and leading updates with executive and senior stakeholders on specific issues (e.g. performance gaps, project updates).
Our humble expectations
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in collaborative environments, and gets excited about turning ideas into measurable improvements.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience managing projects, programs, or change initiatives in a fast-paced operational environment, with
hands-on experience in contact center operations
.
At least manager-level leadership experience
, including leading teams and driving operational improvements.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decisions, with (preferable) experience building dashboards and working with Cursor, Looker, and Snowflake.
Confidence using KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities and deliver continuous improvement.
A structured approach to planning, prioritization, and execution.
Excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Right to work in the country.
The following expertise is a big plus:
Experience working with AI-enabled solutions, tooling, automation, or platform implementations.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
Ownership of technology-driven or operational transformation initiatives.
Exposure to global or multinational organizations.
What we offer
This is an opportunity to work on initiatives that have a real impact across Wolt's Support organization. You'll collaborate with talented colleagues across multiple functions and countries, help shape how Support operates at scale, and see your ideas translated into meaningful improvements for both our teams and customers.
You'll join a collaborative environment where data, experimentation, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work—and where you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow your skills, expand your scope, and influence the future of Support operations.
Next steps
If qualified, our recruitment process begins with an initial screening conversation conducted by the Talent Acquisition team, followed by a role-specific interview to assess your experience and problem-solving approach.
If you progress to the next stage, you will receive a take-home assignment. You will then present your assignment in a follow-up meeting with the Hiring Manager and a Subject Matter Expert, where we’ll discuss your approach, reasoning, and recommendations in more detail. We aim to keep the process transparent, structured, and focused on giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills and thinking.
If you are service-minded, enjoy taking ownership, and thrive in an environment where you proactively identify solutions rather than wait for direction — we’d love to hear from you! 💙

We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who has already led high-stakes pre or post sales customer engagements in large complex accounts across multiple industry domains to drive quantifiable business outcomes..The individual is comfortable operating with ambiguity, and can credibly advise VP- and C-level stakeholders on business transformation, application modernization, platform strategy, architecture, and organizational DevSecOps transformation. You'll also be shaping playbooks and best practices, and acting as an escalation point for the team's most technically or politically complex situations.
Reporting into the APJ Customer Success organization, you'll own a portfolio of GitLab's most strategic enterprise and Government accounts, act as the executive-level technical liaison for these accounts, and drive cross-functional resolution of their highest-priority issues — coordinating and, where needed, directing the efforts of Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Support. You'll bring deep technical expertise in CI/CD, cloud platforms, multi-cloud, hybrid architecture and enterprise DevSecOps practices. You will use that expertise to shape customers' long-term platform strategy, apply best practices, configure GitLab for their environments and stay current with platform capabilities. In your first year, success will look like establishing yourself as the trusted senior advisor across a portfolio of flagship accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, materially improving and increasing platform maturity, leading retention and renewal conversations, increasing customer satisfaction across your portfolio and contributing to the broader CSA team's technical standards and ways of working.
Some examples of our projects:
Turning pre-sales command plans into measurable customer success plans that align technical adoption with business outcomes
Leading and driving the technical strategy behind a large-scale DevSecOps platform consolidation for a regulated Enterprise account or Government, including guiding enterprise customers on GitLab best practices across CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud architecture, TCO, applying compliance and architecture as well as business case presentations to customer executives
Owning end-to-end resolution of a critical, multi-team escalation for a flagship account — driving root cause analysis, coordinating Engineering/Product/Support, and personally briefing customer executives on remediation

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
Fivetran + dbt Labs is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Product Design team responsible for dbt Labs. This role reports to the Director of Product Design.
This is an exciting time to join! As Fivetran and dbt Labs come together, you will help shape a coherent product experience, guide the design team through change, and influence the future of AI-powered data products. You will join a strong and talented design organization whose members care deeply about their craft, the practitioners they serve, and one another.
This is a people management and product leadership role for a design leader who wants to shape technical data products at scale. You will manage and develop a team of product designers, shape the UX strategy for dbt products, and partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define how data teams build, transform, govern, and trust their data. You will lead through strategy, coaching, direction, and cross-functional partnership.
What you'll do
Lead the dbt product design team
You will manage and coach a team of product designers who work across dbt platform and CLI-based products. Designers own the full design process from problem definition and research to UX/UI and partnering with eng/PM through delivery. You will build a culture where designers feel supported, challenged, and empowered to do thoughtful, high-quality work for deeply technical users. You will set clear expectations, give actionable feedback, support career growth, and create the conditions for strong design craft.
Own UX strategy for dbt
You will define and drive UX strategy across dbt’s product experience. You will identify the highest-impact experience opportunities, connect design priorities to product outcomes, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership as a strategic peer in roadmap and product direction conversations.
Provide design direction for technical data products
You will set direction for design work across complex workflows used by technical practitioners. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need enough technical fluency to understand the domain, evaluate tradeoffs, and partner credibly with engineering leaders. You should be comfortable discussing data workflows, ELT, analytics engineering, developer tools, and infrastructure-oriented product experiences.
Shape AI and agentic product experiences
You will lead design strategy for AI-powered and agentic experiences within dbt. This requires more than adding AI features to existing workflows. You will help the team design systems that make AI assistance understandable, useful, and safe for high-stakes technical work. As dbt builds experiences where both humans and AI agents interact with the same data infrastructure, you will also think about how product surfaces need to work for both personas.
Help integrate Fivetran and dbt Labs design
You will play an important role in co-creating a unified product experience and design culture. This is a change-leadership role. You will partner with the Director of Product Design to merge systems, processes, and culture. You will help designers navigate a new organizational context, build strong cross-functional relationships, and create clarity during a period of product and company evolution.
Build an AI-native design operating model
You will operationalize AI across the design lifecycle (from research synthesis and ideation to prototyping, documentation, and design QA). You will establish shared workflows, quality standards, and review practices that help the team move faster without compromising product quality or consistency. In partnership with the Director of Product Design and Product and Engineering leadership, you will also define cross-functional standards for when AI-generated work requires design review, ensuring clear expectations for human oversight, quality, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Required experience
You have 8+ years of product design experience and at least 5 years managing product designers.
Strong people management skills, including coaching, performance development, direct feedback, and team culture building.
Strong cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
Deep care for craft, with a leadership style focused on direction, critique, strategy, and coaching rather than acting as the primary IC designer.
Designing for, or leading teams that design for, technically complex products such as ELT, data infrastructure, analytics engineering, developer tools, cloud platforms, data governance, observability, or adjacent enterprise infrastructure products.
Designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences. You understand the difference between a lightweight AI feature, a copilot, and an agentic workflow.
Experience operationalizing AI workflows for product design teams that goes way beyond AI prototyping. You have defined how designers use AI across the design lifecycle and have established the workflows, standards, review practices, and quality thresholds needed to make AI-assisted work effective at team scale.
Owning UX strategy for a meaningful product area. You can show how your design strategy influenced product direction, not just how your team delivered screens.
Strong technical fluency. You can reason about complex systems, understand engineering constraints, and discuss tradeoffs with Product and Engineering partners.
Experience designing for expert technical users such as data engineers, analytics engineers, software engineers, platform teams, or security teams.

Wrike is the most powerful work management platform. Built for teams and organizations looking to collaborate, create, and exceed every day, Wrike brings everyone and all work into a single place to remove complexity, increase productivity, and free people up to focus on their most purposeful work.
Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You'll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Our vision:
A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together.
About the Role:
You'll help build the very AI-powered platform you use every day, with real autonomy over the features you ship. Wrike’s Backend Reliability (BRE) team is the backbone of our backend infrastructure and the guardian of our uptime. Our mission is to achieve and sustain 99.99% availability while building the tools, components, and safety nets that the entire engineering organization relies on. As a Senior / Staff Backend Engineer on this team, you won’t just close tickets - you’ll architect core reliability solutions that shape how Wrike scales, performs, and recovers from failure.
Your Impact:
Design, build, and maintain critical reliability components such as HTTP rate limiters, internal DB schema migration tools, circuit breakers, and distributed Redis-based caching.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize PostgreSQL usage, and ensure our distributed systems remain performant and stable under high load.
Lead preliminary investigations during severe production incidents: identify likely root causes, assess impact, and propose mitigation options. The long-term fixes are then implemented by the owning team, based on your findings.
Create scalable, reusable tools and frameworks that help other engineering teams build more resilient services.
Leverage AI-powered tools and coding agents to accelerate development, analyze architectures, and automate repetitive or error-prone tasks.
Influence reliability best practices across engineering by sharing knowledge, reviewing designs, and setting high technical standards.
Your Qualifications:
Strong expertise with Java/JVM, building scalable, high-performance backend systems; open to leveraging other languages when appropriate.
Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, including high availability, CAP theorem, and fault tolerance.
Deep experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and key–value / non-relational storages (Redis).
Practical experience with containerization and cloud-native environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using critical thinking to question assumptions and validate your own decisions.
Strong written and spoken English skills suitable for collaborating in an international engineering environment.
Standout Qualities:
Background in infrastructure engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including infrastructure-as-code practices.
Experience leading technical initiatives, driving cross-team projects, and mentoring other engineers while remaining an individual contributor.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks (e.g., Graylog, Zabbix, Grafana) and/or data analytics tools such as BigQuery.
A strong interest in how complex systems fail and a track record of designing them to recover gracefully.
Team Dynamics:
You will join the Backend Reliability (BRE) team, a small, highly specialized, senior group focused solely on Wrike’s reliability. The team operates as an internal “reliability task force,” partnering closely with product and platform engineering teams across the company. You’ll collaborate with other senior engineers who value autonomy, deep technical discussions, and rigorous engineering practices. The culture is ownership-driven: you are trusted to manage your time, make architectural decisions, and drive initiatives to completion.
Our Work Style:
The BRE team works on core backend and infrastructure services that support millions of users. We operate in a collaborative environment that values clear communication, thoughtful design, and fast feedback loops.
Tech focus areas include: Java/JVM-based services, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and observability/monitoring tools.
We encourage the use of modern AI-based tooling and coding agents as part of daily development and troubleshooting workflows.
Work is organized with an emphasis on impact and reliability goals rather than ticket volume, giving you room for deep work and long-term improvements.

Advanced Degree in Statistics, machine learning or related areas. Experience in statistics/ML expertise with a track record of leading high-impact data science initiatives at scale of billions of transactions.
Hands-on experience creating, training and fine-tuning models not just integrating hosted model APIs. You should be able to walk through the data, the objective, what broke, and the before/after evaluation numbers, and why the model did not perform as expected.
Experience owning models in production: deployment, monitoring, drift detection, retraining — with real latency budgets, not just research notebooks.
Production experience with classical ML for fraud/anomaly detection, recommendation, or churn/LTV (gradient boosting, deep learning, graph-based models).
Technology Familiarity
Supervised learning, transfer leaning on machine learning as well as neural networks
Basic LLM knowledge, especially how to use it and where not to use it.
MLOps foundations: feature stores, experiment tracking, model registries (MLflow/W&B-class), continuous training pipelines.
Model serving and inference optimization (vLLM-class serving, quantization).
Nice-to-Have:
Publications, conference talks, or recognized open-source contributions to training/eval tooling .
Graph-based fraud detection (fraud rings, device/account linkage)..
