The role suits a candidate who wants the analytical rigor of an investment banking seat combined with real ownership of a system they run themselves.

Build institutional records. Build institutional records in the firm's relationship platform, sourcing from public materials, licensed data providers and event lists, with enrichment, deduplication and tiering support to the group's data standards.
Operate the staging workflow. Operate the prospect staging and promotion workflow, ensuring nothing enters the production database without review, and support the quarterly tiering refresh.
Maintain the audit trail. Maintain the audit trail on data provenance and consent context consistent with the firm's data handling standard.

Support materials preparation. Support materials preparation for investor meetings, roadshows and transaction processes under the direction of the VP and coverage heads.

Working knowledge of the gaming and interactive entertainment ecosystems is a plus, as is exposure to data providers such as Preqin, PitchBook or Bloomberg.

This is a builder's role. This is a full time position; the regional package will be structured with local counsel.

- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As Engineering Lead, Electronics, you will lead the team responsible for the payload electronics of ICEYE's new optical satellite platform, taking ownership of the electronics design from early concept through to production and in-orbit operation. Acting as the satellite's main electronics authority, you will drive the architecture and hands-on engineering decisions behind the payload while also building and managing a small, growing team of electronics engineers. You will combine technical depth with day-to-day leadership, setting the standard for how the team designs, builds, and delivers electronics that need to work reliably and deliver exceptional performance. You will work in a fast iteration design cycle where understanding the system and speed of development matter the most.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a small, growing electronics team, covering tasking, hiring, and day-to-day people management, while staying hands-on with the technical work alongside them.
- Be the technical leader for the electronics architecture of the optical satellite, owning design end to end, from schematics through layout, bring-up, and into production and in-orbit operations. Given the size of the team, you're expected to be actively involved in the hands-on design work, not only in setting direction.
- Deriving what the system needs to do, translating those requirements into the electronics design, driving R&D on new concepts and upholding a high bar for how boards are designed across high-speed, power, and harness work.
- Investigating on-ground and on-orbit anomalies.
- Driving a fast, iterative design process. From right architectural decisions through culture setting to supplier management.
- Mentoring junior team members.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Expert, hands-on skills in electronics design, spanning schematics through layout, bring-up, production, and operations, across a broad cross-section of high-speed design, power electronics, and harness.
- Ability to understand a satellite system end to end, deriving electronics requirements from it, and owning the electronics architecture of the payload as its main electronics authority.
- People-oriented leadership, comfortable managing and growing a small team, including hiring and day-to-day people management.
- Embracing the challenge, with a preference for simple designs that work reliably in all conditions over unnecessary complexity, and a mindset of owning problems and solving them.
- No space experience required.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with optical sensors.

Own OpEx budget management across all corporate functions — headcount planning, discretionary spend, capital expenditure prioritisation — acting as the financial gatekeeper for all material resource allocation decisions
Build and manage a two-gate strategic investment review process: all investments above a defined IRR threshold (≥25% IRR on Base scenario; positive IRR on Bear / Winter Mode scenario) require FP&A-endorsed investment cases before Board approval
Provide go/no-go financial analysis for all new market entries, new product launches, M&A opportunities, and strategic partnerships
4. Board & Executive Reporting
Produce the monthly and quarterly financial package for the Board of Directors and Management Team — concise, with clear variance commentary, updated forecasts, and strategic recommendations
Lead the FP&A input into the monthly Management Team Reporting cycle
Support the CEO and CFO in preparation for Board meetings, Audit Committee reviews, and any investor committee meetings requiring financial presentation
5. FP&A Infrastructure & Team Building

Location: Valencia
Workplace: Hybrid
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
• Senior Software Engineer - Tasking and Planning
• Location: Valencia, Spain
• Department: Ground Segment
• Reports to: Engineering Manager
• Employment type: Permanent
• Workplace model: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
• Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As Senior Software Engineer on the Acquisition Planning team, you will build the software systems that enable ICEYE and its customers to task satellites, plan data acquisitions, and turn orbital mechanics into operational intelligence capability. From pass prediction and coverage computation engines to event-driven backend services and the engineering interfaces that let users visualise and de-conflict collection plans, you will own the stack end-to-end — working directly alongside engineers and product managers with deep operational backgrounds to understand what users need and ship software that delivers it. This is an early-stage, high-autonomy role where you will help define the architecture and direction of a platform that sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied mathematics, and real-world intelligence operations.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring including oil-spill detection, and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
ICEYE is headquartered in Finland and operates globally across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tasking and Planning Engines. Orbit propagation, pass prediction, acquisition geometry, sensor configuration parameters, and coverage footprint computation. Applied science mathematics turned into operational capability via Software.
- Platform Services. Backend services handling task management. Event-driven workers performing opportunity calculation and synchronising state asynchronously via NATS JetStream. PostgreSQL for persistence. Responsiveness and resilience at the service of the mission.
- Engineering Interfaces. Robust and evolvable APIs and UIs that enable engineers to visualise passes, compare collection plans, plan tasks, and self-service their access to space.
- Whatever the future brings. Multi-sensor coordination, processing pipeline integration, new collection strategies, and capabilities that will emerge from close collaboration with users. You will help define the direction, not just execute it.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals. You design decoupled, maintainable, resilient, performant systems. You can reason about concurrency and how transactions work. You know about CAP and regularly make deliberate trade-offs between Consistency and Availability. You understand the difference between “At most once”, “At least once” and how to design systems around those guarantees.
- Fluency with AI-assisted engineering. You treat AI as a standard part of your toolkit, not a novelty or a threat. You use it across the whole of your work (design exploration, code, tests, documentation, debugging, reviewing unfamiliar codebases) and you have a feel for where it accelerates you and where it quietly costs you time. Crucially, you stay accountable for the output: you know how to prompt and scope a task well, how to verify what comes back, and how to keep the guarantees that production demands. You are curious about improving the way you and your team work with these tools, and you help others get better at it.
- Production experience. You have designed, built, and operated services in production: REST APIs, relational databases, and asynchronous workers. You know how to make your systems observable and resilient. You understand what production demands beyond making things work locally.
- Fast learner in technical domains. This role involves orbital mechanics, RF physics, and geospatial data. You don’t need to come in knowing these — but you do need to be the kind of engineer who can pick up a new domain quickly, ask sharp questions, and start contributing before you’ve mastered every detail.
- Ability to work from ambiguity. You can take a loosely defined operational need (e.g. “we need users to de-conflict between competing collection plans”) and turn it into concrete engineering work. You ask the right questions, make well-reasoned decisions, and adjust when new information arrives.
- Effective communication across domains. You will work alongside people who think in many different ways and work in different contexts. You can listen carefully, ask precise questions, and articulate technical tradeoffs in terms that everybody can understand, and adjust to your audience accordingly.
Nice to haves:
- Event-driven architecture. Experience with NATS, Kafka, SQS, or similar. Understanding of at-least-once delivery, idempotency, and the practical tradeoffs of asynchronous service communication.
- Modern frontend engineering. Production experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, particularly for data-intensive or real-time visualisation applications. Experience with CesiumJS or deck.gl http://deck.gl is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with AI development tools. You actively use AI assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in your daily engineering work. Not tentatively, but as a primary tool for writing, reviewing, and iterating on code. You understand their strengths and limitations, and you use them to move faster without sacrificing quality.
- Orbital mechanics background. Experience with TLEs, SGP4 propagation, pass prediction, incidence and squint geometry, and access window computation. Familiarity with tools like Skyfield, GMAT, or STK. This is valuable but learnable on the job.
- Geospatial engineering. GeoJSON, CZML, WGS84, map projections, coverage polygons, and ground footprints. Experience building systems that process and render geospatial data.
- Space, defence, or intelligence sector experience. You have worked in an environment where users depend on the software you build, where the physics constrains what is possible, and where the quality of your work has direct operational consequences. You understand what a tasking workflow looks like from a user perspective.

Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As an AI Deployment Strategist, you will drive the adoption and deployment of Mistral’s AI solutions, working closely with customers from strategic vision to production implementation. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on deployment, ensuring our customers achieve transformative outcomes.
You will partner with senior executives to design AI roadmaps, collaborate with the Applied AI team to deliver solutions in production, and ensure seamless transitions from presales to postsales. Your work will directly contribute to customer success, bridging the gap between strategy and execution.
This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex business challenges, and are passionate about turning AI potential into real-world impact.
What We're Looking For
Strategic Discovery & Vision Setting
• Lead executive-level workshops with CISOs and security teams to identify cybersecurity challenges and opportunities where Mistral's AI can drive step-change improvements (e.g., threat intelligence, SOC automation, vulnerability management, incident response).
• Co-create AI-powered cybersecurity adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating the "art of the possible" and a clear path to value in securing their digital assets.
AI Solution Design & Deployment for Cyber
• Architect end-to-end AI solutions tailored to cybersecurity use cases, integrating Mistral's models and platform into customer security workflows, SOC environments, and technical infrastructure.
• Partner with the Applied AI team to design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven cybersecurity solutions in production (e.g., automated threat detection, intelligent alert triage, security log analysis, phishing detection, compliance automation).
• Own the execution of pilot projects and proofs-of-value within cybersecurity contexts, demonstrating the potential of our technology and paving the way for full-scale deployment.
• Ensure deployed solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, SecNumCloud).
Value Realization & Customer Success
• Serve as a trusted advisor to cybersecurity customers, guiding their AI strategy for security operations and ensuring they maximize the value of their investment in Mistral.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to security outcomes (e.g., mean time to detect, mean time to respond, false positive reduction, analyst productivity).
• Proactively identify expansion opportunities within accounts, building on initial cybersecurity successes to drive long-term partnerships across broader security and defense use cases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as the bridge between cybersecurity customers and Mistral's internal teams, synthesizing domain-specific feedback to influence product and research roadmaps for security-oriented features.
• Develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks specific to cybersecurity deployments to scale go-to-market efforts and ensure consistent delivery excellence.
• Stay current on the evolving threat landscape, emerging cyber regulations, and AI-for-security trends to maintain credibility and thought leadership.
• Travel (~30-60%) to foster deep client relationships and support on-site deployment, primarily within France and Europe.
About you
• 6+ years in a client-facing strategic and technical role within the cybersecurity or defense sector (e.g., cybersecurity consulting, security engineering, SOC operations, or technical sales in cyber).
• You hold a degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Strong cybersecurity domain expertise : solid understanding of security operations (SOC, SIEM, SOAR), threat intelligence, incident response, vulnerability management, and/or compliance frameworks.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML/Data Science, with the credibility to advise both security-focused and non-technical audiences on AI-driven security solutions.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or data-driven applications (Python) to demonstrate value in security contexts.
• Familiarity with French and European cybersecurity regulations and frameworks (e.g., ANSSI guidelines, NIS2, DORA, SecNumCloud, ISO 27001).
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous security challenges into actionable solutions.
• Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior security stakeholders (CISO, VP Security, C-level).
• Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable leading through influence in a collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with sales qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC) and value-based selling is a plus.
• Prior experience with defense or sovereign cloud environments is a plus.
Why This Role Matters
You will play a pivotal role in shaping how enterprises adopt and deploy AI, ensuring Mistral’s solutions deliver measurable impact. By partnering with the Applied AI team, you’ll help turn strategic visions into production-ready solutions, making Mistral an indispensable partner for our customers.
