ABOUT THE ROLE.
We’re building the next generation of agentic AI infrastructure at Cohere. This team sits at the intersection of ML systems, distributed infrastructure, and developer experience, creating the platform that powers autonomous AI agents at scale.
You’ll work on hard, forward-looking problems with few established patterns, including secure code execution, agent state management, model routing, identity and authentication, and resource management for long-running agent workflows.
This role is a strong fit for someone who combines systems depth with ML intuition. You should be comfortable building reliable infrastructure, thinking through distributed systems tradeoffs, and understanding how emerging agentic capabilities shape platform design.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON.
- Secure execution environments for agent-generated code
- Identity, authentication, and trust boundaries for agents

- Rate limiting, quotas, and resource management for agent workflows
- State management, memory, and filesystem abstractions for agents.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Turn emerging ML research ideas into production-ready infrastructure
- Build core platform capabilities for execution, storage, and state management
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies, then help decide what should move into production
- Partner with research teams to shape infrastructure based on what future agent systems will need
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience building production ML infrastructure with strong systems fundamentals
- Hands-on work with agentic systems, multi-agent workflows, or agent development frameworks
- Familiarity with model routing and LLM provider frameworks across different model types and environments
- Experience with scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems and Kubernetes
- A track record of moving quickly on prototypes and making good decisions about productionization.
BONUS
- Experience across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments
- Familiarity with storage systems, embedded databases, or filesystem abstractions
- Experience with code execution sandboxes such as gVisor, Firecracker, Kata, or WASM runtimes
- Interest in emerging ML infrastructure, edge inference, or browser-native models
- Open-source contributions to LLM or agent infrastructure projects
- Experience with identity, workload auth, or capability-based security systems.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.

HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.
We may use AI-enabled tools to screen and assess applicants against the criteria for this position. This helps our recruiters identify potentially qualified candidates, but it doesn't limit the applications our recruiters may review or consider.
Beware of Scams: Cohere will never ask for payment or third-party services (e.g., CV writing) as part of our hiring process. All legitimate roles are listed on the Cohere careers page and LinkedIn only, with all communications from Cohere employees coming from an @cohere.com or @cw.cohere email alias. ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Finance teams need a dependable way to turn everyday spending and payments into accurate books. Ramp's Accounting team builds the systems that carry accounting context across our products, help customers categorize and reconcile activity, and keep their records in sync. When those systems work well, finance teams spend less time correcting data and more time understanding their business.
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build across that accounting experience. You could work on the services behind accounting rules and data models, the flow of transactions into the books, or the reliability of sync and reconciliation workflows. You'll own complex projects from design through production and work with product, design, and engineering partners to make accounting workflows simpler and more trustworthy for customers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and data models that support accounting workflows across Ramp's products
- Make financial data accurate, traceable, and resilient as transactions move through coding, reconciliation, and sync
- Improve the reliability and visibility of workflows that span Ramp and customers' accounting systems, including how they handle failures and changes
- Partner with product and engineering teammates to understand finance teams' needs and turn them into practical technical designs
- Own substantial projects from design and implementation through launch, monitoring, and iteration
- Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience designing, building, and operating production backend systems, including APIs, data models, and asynchronous workflows
- Strong system design judgment, especially around data correctness, reliability, and keeping complex systems understandable
- A track record of independently owning complex projects and shipping high-quality software
- The ability to investigate problems across services and data flows and turn what you learn into durable improvements
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with accounting, payments, spend management, or other financial data products
- Familiarity with accounting concepts such as coding, reconciliation, or the general ledger
- Experience building integrations or data workflows that keep information consistent across systems
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend

The Marketing Team
The Marketing Team at OpenZeppelin drives awareness and adoption across every product and service we ship, from the flagship OpenZeppelin Contracts Libraries to security audits, developer tooling, and solutions for financial institutions.
Working hand-in-hand with Product, Design, Sales, and Open Source Engineering, the team owns messaging, go-to-market strategy, content, and events that position OpenZeppelin as the security standard for onchain finance.
What you'll be doing
As OpenZeppelin’s Senior Product Marketer for Financial Services, you will own how we position, launch, and sell our solutions to banks, asset managers, and financial market infrastructures. You will lead the go-to-market for new institutional solutions, from positioning through launch and adoption, and make sure Sales has what it needs to win. You will work AI-native by default: building the workflows, agents, and tools that let you research faster, create better content, and give Sales assets that adapt to every account instead of going stale.
You will
Own positioning and messaging
for our institutional solutions, defining value propositions, differentiators, and messaging by use case and buyer persona.
Lead product launches
for new institutional solutions, from launch plans and timelines through announcement, assets, and post-launch adoption.
Enable Sales with AI-native assets:
sales kits, pitch narratives, one-pagers, battlecards, and evaluation materials built to be customized per account and kept current, not static decks.
Run AI-powered competitive and market intelligence
by building workflows that track competitors, regulatory developments, and industry news, and turn them into actionable insights for Sales, Product, and leadership.
Build use-case and solution pages
directly in our CMS, explaining clearly what we offer, who it is for, and why it matters.
Support early adopter and design partner programs,
shaping the materials and narrative that turn institutional interest into qualified opportunities.
Contribute to institutional content,
including research reports, thought leadership, and newsletter topics, using AI workflows to research, draft, and repurpose efficiently.
Create light social media content
when valuable content or launches go live, in coordination with the wider Marketing team.
Close the loop with the product owners
by bringing customer and market feedback into roadmap and packaging discussions.
Measure what matters
by defining launch and adoption metrics and reporting on results.
Location
All positions at OpenZeppelin are 100% remote, however you should
be located between UTC-5 and UTC+2 to be seriously considered for this position.
You have
3+ years in product marketing at companies selling to institutions: financial services, digital asset service providers, or blockchain companies with an institutional customer base.
A proven track record of marketing to banks, asset managers, or market infrastructures at a company that actually won their business. You already know what these buyers want, how they evaluate, and what makes them move.
An AI-native way of working. You build and use AI workflows daily for content creation, research, competitive monitoring, and sales assets, and can show examples of what you’ve built.
A solid understanding of digital asset and tokenization use cases, such as tokenized deposits, money market funds, repo, and stablecoins.
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to make complex technical and regulatory topics clear and credible for senior audiences.
Experience working closely with Sales and Product to turn strategy into assets that are actually used in deals.
Strong project management skills and comfort working through compliance and approval processes.
A self-driven, collaborative mindset that thrives in dynamic environments.
Nice to have
Experience in product marketing for services (security, consulting, or professional services), not only software products.
Experience building web pages through a headless CMS such as Sanity.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and smart contract development.
Experience running beta, pilot, or design partner programs.
Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools.
