About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Reinforcement learning is how Claude learns to reason, write code, and act autonomously over long horizons. The RL Scaling team works on how RL scales: what happens to throughput, stability, and learning efficiency as models get larger, episodes get longer, and compute grows by orders of magnitude, and what has to change in our algorithms and systems to keep getting returns from that scale.
This role sits squarely across research and engineering. You'll develop next-generation architectures and RL algorithms, take them from a small-scale result to a frontier-scale run, and understand every place they behave differently along the way. You'll build the systems that set how fast the team can iterate: how many experiments, at what scale, and how quickly we can trust the results. And you'll work on Anthropic's largest and fastest RL runs, where the gap between a good idea and a working one is often a problem no one has solved yet.
Key responsibilities
Study how RL training and sampling scale with model size, context length, and compute, and find the algorithmic and systems changes that keep scaling efficient
Develop next-generation model architectures and RL algorithms, and make them run efficiently at frontier scale
Take promising small-scale results to frontier-scale runs, and diagnose why they behave differently when they get there, whether the cause is numerical, algorithmic, or systemic
Build the experimental infrastructure that sets research velocity: fast, reproducible comparisons of architecture and algorithm variants at meaningful scale
Own end-to-end performance of our largest RL runs, from research code down to the hardware
Build performance and cost models for proposed architecture and algorithm changes, and use them to decide which ideas get scaled
Investigate training dynamics at scale, including instabilities, divergence, and throughput regressions, and trace them to root cause
Minimum qualifications
Deep familiarity with modern transformer language models, including their architecture, training dynamics, and the behavior of large-scale optimization
Hands-on experience training large models in a distributed setting, including the tradeoffs between data, tensor, and pipeline parallelism
A track record of original technical work in ML training or systems, such as new methods, architectures, or optimizations, demonstrated through research, open-source, or production impact
Ability to design rigorous experiments at scale, including baselines, ablations, and enough statistical care to trust a result that costs real compute
Ability to reason quantitatively about the compute, memory, and communication costs of a model or algorithm
Strong programming skills in Python and JAX or PyTorch, and comfort reading and changing code at every layer of the stack
Preferred qualifications
Research experience in reinforcement learning, optimization, or large-scale training, published or otherwise
Experience developing RL algorithms for language models
Experience with scaling laws or other quantitative models of training efficiency
Experience designing or modifying transformer architectures beyond standard configurations
Experience scaling training to large fleets of accelerators and debugging the problems that only appear at scale
Deep understanding of numerics in large-scale training, including low-precision formats and sources of instability
Familiarity with how GPU or TPU performance characteristics shape architecture and algorithm choices
Experience with C++ or Rust
Representative projects
Characterize how a new RL algorithm's throughput and learning efficiency change from small models to frontier scale, and fix what breaks
Develop a new attention variant, get it working at full scale, and measure how its quality and throughput compare to the baseline
Prepare our next largest-ever RL run: find what breaks when model size, context length, and compute all grow at once, and fix it before launch
Trace a loss instability that only appears past a certain scale to its root cause, and work out whether the fix belongs in the algorithm, the numerics, or the system
Build a model that predicts the throughput and cost of a proposed architecture change before anyone writes the kernel

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

At frontier scale, an RL run is an unusually demanding distributed system. Training, sampling, and environment execution run concurrently across a large fleet of accelerators and hosts, exchange data continuously, and have to keep making progress while hardware fails, load shifts, and the research changes underneath them. How well that system holds together determines how much of our compute turns into learning, and how quickly the team can try the next idea.
As a Research Engineer on the Distributed Systems team within RL Engineering, you'll work on whatever part of that system is the current limit. That might be scheduling and placement, data movement between components, running large numbers of sandboxed environments, storage and checkpointing, networking, fault tolerance, autoscaling, or the observability that tells us what a run is actually doing. We're looking for generalists: engineers who can move between these layers, reason from first principles about a system they haven't seen before, and pick the problem that matters most rather than the one closest to their prior experience.
Our system changes as fast as the research does, correctness under failure matters as much as throughput, and the best solutions often come from understanding the ML workload well enough to know which guarantees it actually needs. Strong candidates have built and run large distributed systems, care about getting the details right, and want to apply that experience to a workload that is very large, very heterogeneous, and changing quickly.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and operate the distributed systems that run RL at scale, across training, sampling, and environment execution
Find and remove whatever currently limits the system, whether it's scheduling, data movement, storage, networking, or coordination
Build fault tolerance into every layer: failure detection, isolation, and recovery that keep long-running jobs making progress without human intervention
Design resource management and autoscaling so that compute follows demand as a run's needs shift
Build observability that makes it possible to understand what a run is doing and why it slowed down, stalled, or produced unexpected results
Build automation that detects and remediates common problems, and design interfaces that let engineers and automated tools operate runs safely
Work with researchers and performance engineers to make sure systems changes preserve training correctness and don't introduce subtle nondeterminism
Remove classes of failure at their source through incident review, testing, and redesign, and write clear design documents for what you build
Minimum qualifications
Strong software engineering skills in Python and at least one systems language such as Rust, C++, or Go
Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production
Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, including consistency, coordination, consensus, failure modes, and recovery
Ability to reason quantitatively about throughput, latency, and resource costs across compute, memory, storage, and network
Experience debugging complex failures across many hosts and services, including failures you can't reproduce locally
Strong written communication, including design documents and incident writeups
Preferred qualifications
Experience running ML training or inference infrastructure at scale
Experience across several layers of the stack, such as scheduling, storage, networking, and orchestration
Experience building schedulers, autoscalers, or resource management systems
Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes, and with sandboxed or virtualized code execution at scale
Experience with high-performance networking, RDMA, or collective communication libraries
Experience building observability or automated remediation for large fleets
Experience with async Python frameworks such as Trio or asyncio
Familiarity with reinforcement learning or large language model training workloads
Representative projects
Design a scheduler that places training, sampling, and environment work across a heterogeneous cluster while respecting network topology and failure domains
Build a failure detection and recovery system that lets a long-running job survive host and network failures with minimal lost work
Scale environment execution substantially without increasing tail latency for the training step
Design an autoscaling policy that rebalances compute across components as a run's bottleneck shifts
Build a diagnostics system that explains why a run's throughput dropped and proposes a fix
Trace a rare data corruption bug across many services to a race condition in a recovery path, and redesign the path so the class of bug can't recur
Design the operational interface for a run so that automated tools can safely diagnose and adjust it under human oversight

Data Center Security Engineering (DCSE) secures Anthropic's data center footprint; this role covers how the sites are designed and built to be secure. Much of that footprint is designed and built with partners, so a site's security is decided early: in what Anthropic hands the people who build it, and in how rigorously the delivered systems are tested against it.
You'll design and specify the physical security systems for a site: perimeter and vehicle barriers, intrusion detection, video, security lighting, and the site penetrations and utility entry points that bypass them. Design firms and integrators produce the site drawings and install; you specify, review, and verify. You'll write the performance requirement and verification method behind each control, review every site design against them at each stage with redlines a design team can act on, test in the field that what was built performs as specified, and re-verify post-acceptance changes.
This is a foundational role. You'll own Anthropic's physical security reference design package (typical details, reference drawings, schedules, and test procedures) in the form partners build from, and keep it current against each site's threat basis and the sites actually being built. You'll set the technical position for a site and decide what applies where; where a requirement can't be met as written, you'll engineer the compensating control and document the deviation. You'll work with the rest of DCSE, with Anthropic's design, construction, and real estate counterparts, and directly with the vendors who build to the package. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
The same seat covers the team's security operations control rooms. You'll set their design and operational requirements and accept delivered systems against them, working day to day alongside the team's platform engineers, who own the software and compute that run in them.
This role involves regular travel to data center sites. These are critical services, and this role participates in an on-call rotation for them.
Key responsibilities
Produce a vendor-ready design package
for perimeter barriers and hostile vehicle mitigation, intrusion detection and its zoning, video coverage, security lighting matched to camera performance, and penetration protection: performance specifications, typical details and reference drawings, and device and zone schedules, written so a design firm can build to them and a test can prove them
Define the per-site engineering basis:
which requirements apply to a site based on its risk profile and the threats it faces, with compensating controls and documented deviations
Write the acceptance criteria and test methods:
the verification method behind each requirement and the evidence a site must produce to pass acceptance
Set standoff, structural hardening, and site layout criteria
for new designs, tied to the threat basis they derive from
Run field verification:
commissioning and acceptance testing of perimeter, detection, video, and lighting against performance criteria (detection coverage tests, photometric measurements, video quality checks)
Write the operational and design requirements for security operations control rooms:
console layout, wall versus workstation content, supervisor placement; room network, power, backup, and resilient communications to the team's segmentation and hardening baseline
Own control room acceptance:
factory and site acceptance criteria written before the build, then accept or reject delivered systems (video wall, consoles, cabling, fit-out) against them
Minimum qualifications
Have designed or specified physical security systems (perimeter barriers, intrusion detection, video, security lighting) for campus-scale sites: multiple buildings, a secured perimeter, many detection zones
Read and produce construction documents (site plans, civil and electrical drawings, device schedules, submittals) using standard design and markup tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam, and find what is missing as readily as what is wrong
Write performance requirements that are testable: each states what must be true, how it will be verified, and what evidence shows it
Have run commissioning and acceptance tests against performance criteria and rejected work that did not meet them
Derive requirements from a threat basis rather than a product catalog: you can say which adversary a control stops and where the next weakest point is
Have owned an engineering domain where you set the approach, chose what applied to each site, worked directly with vendors, and answered for the result
Preferred qualifications
Experience carrying a physical security design from construction documents through construction to acceptance testing
Experience engineering the security scope of colocation or partner-delivered facilities
Working knowledge of published standards for standoff, hostile vehicle mitigation, and intrusion detection zoning
Photometric and video quality measurement experience
Control room, AV, or network design experience: console layouts, video wall systems, resilient communications
Experience using AI-assisted tooling for drafting and review as a core part of your workflow

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Real-World Test Lab (RWTL)
Physical AI doesn't get graded on a leaderboard. It gets graded on a factory floor at shift change, in a substation with no GPS, on a site where the lighting is wrong and the stakes are real.
The Real-World Test Lab closes the gap between the benchmark and the field. We bring the customer's world inside our walls — their devices, their environments, their hardest conditions, and their definition of success — and make it the bar every release has to clear.
As Niantic Spatial's first and most demanding customer, we push our reconstruction, localization, and spatial understanding to their limits, find where they shine and where they break, and turn that into evidence that shapes what we build next. It's a new team at the frontier of physical AI, and you'll help invent how the job is done.
About the Role
We're hiring a Hardware Operations Engineer with a robotics specialism, reporting to the Director of the Real-World Test Lab, to own the physical layer of our evidence. You'll manage our fleet of capture devices and robots, engineer the test environments and the instrumentation inside them, support the captures our data programs depend on, and run physical test sessions, including the real-robot side of our sim-to-real work.
A physical run only counts as evidence if the hardware is characterized, the environment is controlled, the ground truth is trustworthy, and someone can reproduce the run months later. You'll build what makes that possible: fixtures, ground-truth references, calibration and data-offload tooling, and the integrations that feed physical runs into the same automated evaluation system as everything else.
You engineer the conditions, not just the setup. When a physical result didn't match expectations, you've worked out whether the hardware, calibration, environment, or system under test was responsible. Then you built the rig, reference, or logging that kept the question from coming back. You know an uninstrumented physical test is an anecdote, and in the Lab you'll be the person who can say with authority whether a strange result is real.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: Fleet inventory and characterization baseline complete, safe operating procedures defined for current spaces, and first instrumentation gaps identified.
- 60 days: First physical robot run executed with ground-truth instrumentation, documented well enough to repeat, with results in the Lab's evaluation system.
- 90 days: Test environments in regular use with controlled, documented conditions; capture support running smoothly with our data acquisition team; and the physical side of sim-to-real running on a standing instrumented protocol.
What You'll Do
- Own and Characterize the Fleet - Manage our capture devices, sensors, and robots end to end: inventory, calibration, firmware, maintenance, logistics, and spares. Characterize what each platform can and cannot do, so a device's limits are a known quantity rather than a surprise inside a result.
- Engineer the Physical Test Environments - Design, build, and operate the spaces we test in, covering layout, lighting control, markers, obstacle configurations, and survey-grade ground truth references, across our office, rented or workplace-services-supported space, and partner or customer sites. Make each environment a controlled variable rather than an improvisation.
- Build the Instrumentation - Create the rigs, mounts, references, and measurement setups that turn a physical run into quantitative data: trajectory ground truth, positional accuracy references, timing and synchronization across sensors, and automated condition logging.
- Integrate Physical Runs Into the Evaluation System - Work with the AI Automation Engineer so physical results flow into the same scorecards and comparisons as software-only evaluations, through automated data offload, run metadata, and structured condition capture rather than a spreadsheet and a folder of files.
- Run the Physical Test Sessions - Execute robot runs and device-in-the-loop tests: robot bring-up, teleoperation, scripted trials, and the repetition that makes a result statistically meaningful rather than anecdotal.
- Own the Physical Half of Sim-to-Real - When a scenario has been evaluated in simulation, engineer and execute its physical counterpart so the comparison is valid, matching environment, route, lighting, sensor configuration, and robot setup, and instrumenting the run so divergence is explainable rather than mysterious.
- Own Safety - Define and maintain safe operating procedures for robots and powered equipment in our test spaces, and coordinate with workplace services, IT, Legal, and site owners on access and safety requirements.
- Automate Your Own Work - Script the repetitive parts, including configuration, calibration checks, data offload, and condition logging, so setup time falls and a colleague can run a session without you.
What You'll Bring
- Hands-on engineering experience with robotic hardware, covering bring-up, integration, teleoperation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Mobile or wheeled platforms preferred.
- Built test rigs, fixtures, or instrumentation that produced quantitative measurements of a physical system's behavior.
- Designed and run structured physical experiments, including ground truth methodology, and documented conditions rigorously enough for someone else to reproduce them.
- Worked with sensor calibration, multi-sensor synchronization, and coordinate frame conventions, and understand how errors in each propagate into a result.
- Strong Python and command-line proficiency, with a track record of automating hardware configuration, data offload, or test execution.
- Managed hardware fleets operationally: inventory, firmware, calibration schedules, logistics, and repair coordination.
- Practical safety experience operating powered equipment or robots around people.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Worked with ROS or ROS 2, including writing nodes or integrating sensor drivers.
- Operated NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Isaac Lab as a user, running scenarios someone else authored.
- Worked with professional capture hardware such as terrestrial laser scanners, NavVis or Leica systems, LiDAR, 360 cameras, or drones.
- Established survey-grade or motion-capture ground truth for localization or navigation evaluation.
- Supported photogrammetry, Gaussian splat, or 3D reconstruction capture workflows.
- Run test operations at customer or partner sites, with the coordination and discretion that requires.
Competencies
- Engineering judgment about physical systems. You reason about error sources: calibration drift, timing offsets, mounting rigidity, lighting variation, floor surface. When results disagree, you form a hypothesis and design the measurement that settles it.
- Hands-on and unfazed. You'd rather be in the space with the robot than reading about it. Cables, mounts, batteries, firmware, and a session that starts at 7am are all part of the job.
- Meticulous about conditions. You instrument rather than remember. You know the value of a physical test lives in how precisely its conditions were captured.
- Safety-minded without being slow. You take real responsibility for operating robots around people, and you build procedures where the safe path is also the fast path.
- Builds for other people. Your fixtures, scripts, and procedures get used by colleagues without you in the room.
- Comfortable in an unfinished environment. Much of this does not exist yet. You'll be selecting equipment, designing the first rigs, and defining how a space gets configured, with support but without a playbook.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $142,200 to $193,000. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.
Location & Work Model
This role is based in our San Francisco office, with three days per week in office.
Inclusive Application
We know the strongest candidates don't always tick every box. If you're excited about this role and believe you could do it well, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed - you may be exactly who we're looking for.

It's a new team at the frontier of physical AI, and you'll help invent how the job is done.
About the Role
We're hiring an AI Automation Engineer, reporting to the Director of the Real-World Test Lab, to build the system that produces our evidence. Today our evaluations are manual, inconsistent, and slow. You'll design and own the automation that runs them end to end on every relevant release, with no human driving it, turning one-off experiments into an always-on service the whole company relies on.
This role is about owning the evidence, not executing a test plan. You'll decide how each workflow gets exercised, and you'll be measured on whether the company can trust the results, not on how much automation exists. The work counts when it keeps running correctly months later, without you in the loop.
You believe evaluation is engineering, not process. You've built systems that test other systems, and you know the difference between a script that works on your laptop and infrastructure a team can trust. When a result couldn't be reproduced, you fixed the tooling instead of arguing about the number.
What You'll Do
- Build the Evaluation Machine - Own the automation that executes Lab evaluations end to end: environment setup, run orchestration, artifact capture, and result collection. Make reruns free so we test constantly rather than occasionally.
- Make Results Comparable - Instrument scorecards so a result can be compared across product versions, devices, and capture conditions. A number without its lineage is not evidence.
- Automate the Agent-Driven Layer - Build the agent workflows that exercise priority customer use cases at realistic scale, across the graded difficulty spectrum from easy to frontier, and be honest about where agents cannot yet replace human judgment.
- Kill Manual Work Permanently - Convert one-off experiments into standing protocols that run on every relevant release. Automate recurring inspection wherever it can be automated, and route what genuinely cannot to scalable human review.
- Make Failures Actionable - Produce diagnostics precise enough that a finding reaches its owner with a reproducible case and data attached. Findings that need re-investigation before anyone can act on them are half-finished.
- Keep Data From Being the Bottleneck - Work with the AI Data Manager so every run is reproducible from a known dataset state, without anyone downloading and re-uploading data by hand.
What Success Looks Like
- 30 days: One priority workflow evaluated end to end with no manual steps, with results in a comparable scorecard.
- 60 days: Evaluations trigger automatically on relevant releases, with diagnostics that route failures to the right owners.
- 90 days: Three priority workflows under standing automated evaluation, with version-over-version comparison for leadership.
What You'll Bring
- Built and maintained production-grade automation or test infrastructure that other engineers relied on daily.
- Experience evaluating systems where correctness is graded rather than binary, meaning quality, accuracy, or latency thresholds rather than pass/fail assertions.
- Strong Python, with fluency in orchestration, CI-style pipelines, cloud storage, and reproducible environments.
- Worked with backend services and APIs you did not own, integrating against them without becoming a bottleneck for their team.
- Written up a technical finding clearly enough that a non-author could act on it without a meeting.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Built agent-based or LLM-driven automation for a task that previously required human judgment.
- Worked on evaluation or benchmarking for computer vision, 3D reconstruction, or spatial systems.
- Instrumented dashboards or scorecards that leadership used for release decisions.
- Operated data provisioning or registry infrastructure across multiple environments and access models.
Competencies
- Intellectually honest. You design tests that produce answers people can trust, and you refuse to let a benchmark imply more than the evidence supports — including when the honest answer is inconvenient for your own work.
- Pragmatic. You find the fastest path to a defensible result without going through one-way doors that undermine scaling. You have no patience for building infrastructure nobody has asked for yet.
- AI-forward by instinct. You reach for agents and LLM-driven automation before you reach for headcount, and you're rigorous about verifying what they produce.
- Builds for other people. You've maintained something after the initial excitement wore off. Your tooling is documented, your failures are legible, and colleagues use what you build without asking you to run it for them.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $158,400 to $210,000 per year. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.

Perplexity is scaling at a pace few companies experience, and the Communications and Marketing team is growing with it. We're hiring a Business Operations Manager to build and run the operating system underneath, so an incredibly busy team can move fast and stay in lockstep.
That means keeping the wheels turning: the tool stack, agencies and vendors, budgets, contracts, and the dashboards leadership relies on. It also means building what doesn't exist yet, and making sure everyone knows what's happening and nothing gets dropped. Half builder, half connective tissue. If you like turning ideas into things people use every day, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Own the marketing and comms tool stack: evaluate, procure, onboard, provision access, train the team, and retire what we've outgrown
- Build and maintain internal tools such as calendars, intake forms, dashboards, trackers, and automations, and keep them reliable as more people depend on them
- Run the team's operating rhythm: priorities, launch and campaign calendars, planning cycles, and the cross-functional handoffs that carry work from idea to launch without dropped threads
- Manage agencies, contractors, and vendors from selection and onboarding through scopes, invoices, renewals, and performance
- Keep contracts and procurement moving with Legal and Finance so agreements never become the bottleneck
- Be the connective tissue across the team: know who's working on what, spot dependencies early, and keep people aligned without adding meetings
- Act as a thought partner and triage point to leadership: keep them informed, spot problems early, know when to escalate, propose solutions, and see them through
- Add rigor without slowing anyone down, knowing the difference between process that helps and process that's overhead
What you bring
- 4-7 years in marketing operations, business operations, or a similar systems-and-process role, ideally in a fast-growing technology company
- You build things. You've stood up tools, automations, or dashboards yourself, and AI tools are already part of how you work
- Strong analytical instincts, able to turn messy inputs into numbers leadership can trust
- Experience managing agency, contractor, or vendor relationships and working with Legal and Finance on contracts and procurement
- Exceptionally organized and genuinely relational. People like working with you, tell you things early, and trust you with what's really going on
- A clear, direct communicator who can brief an executive, run a cross-functional meeting, and write a process doc people actually follow
- Demonstrated experience working closely with and as a trusted partner to senior executives
- Comfortable in ambiguity and thinks in scale, building things that hold up when the team, budget, or number of launches doubles
- No specific tool stack required. You've operated marketing or comms systems in a high-growth environment and can pick ours up fast

Anthropic's go-to-market engine runs on Salesforce: how leads become pipeline, how deals are tracked and forecast, how customers renew and expand, and how partners work alongside our sellers. As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for how one of those core motions is represented in system, and a trusted partner to GTM leadership when they want to change how it works.
We're looking for someone who operates at the intersection of three things: a strategist who can sit with GTM leaders and shape how they want to understand their part of the business, an analyst who can turn that into rigorous process and data design, and a builder who's comfortable enough in Salesforce to ship meaningful parts of it themselves. You can move fluidly between whiteboard, requirements doc, and admin console. You'll partner deeply with RevOps on the operating model and with our Salesforce developers on anything that needs code.
Where you might sit
We're hiring across several parts of the customer lifecycle. Placement depends on your background and where you can have the most impact.
Opportunity Acceleration:
Owns how deals are tracked, forecast, and credited in Salesforce, from stage design and forecasting to the ownership and team structures behind them. You'll partner with sales leadership to make pipeline something everyone can trust and sellers can work quickly.
Lead-to-Pipeline:
Owns how leads, inbound demand, and BDR outreach become qualified pipeline: lifecycle stages, routing and ownership, handoff rules, and the tools BDRs and sellers work in every day. You'll partner with BDR, marketing, and sales leadership to make the path from first touch to open opportunity faster and easier to measure.
Post-Sales:
Owns the systems behind renewals, expansion, and customer coverage: how post-sale opportunities are created, forecast, and worked by account management and customer success. You'll give post-sales leaders a clear, trustworthy view of the customer base and the tools to act on it.
Partnerships:
Owns how partner-sourced and co-sell deals are registered, attributed, and worked alongside our sellers, including the partner-facing processes and reporting leadership relies on. You'll help turn a fast-growing channel into a motion the business can measure and scale.
Key responsibilities
Own the design of your core funnel domain in Salesforce: lifecycle stages, process, exit and handoff criteria, key fields, and the automation and guardrails that keep the data trustworthy
Partner with GTM leadership on how their motion runs and how they want to see it, and make the tradeoff calls on what teams enter versus what insight that data unlocks
Partner with RevOps to systematize how GTM teams are structured, assigned, and credited: ownership, routing, coverage, splits, and the territory and role structures those depend on
Operationalize the methodology in system, turning frameworks and process discipline into fields, validation, scoring, and in-context guidance that people actually use
Act as data-model steward for your domain and its closest neighbors: the named approver for new fields, automation, and integrations touching those objects, and the keeper of why each one exists
Build and ship declarative solutions yourself where that's the right call, and write specs clean enough that our developers can build the rest without five rounds of clarification
Own the seams to the neighboring stages of the customer lifecycle (lead handoff, opportunity, quote-to-cash, renewal, partner attribution) so the experience is coherent end to end even where the build sits with another team
Evaluate and configure tooling that accelerates the motion: routing, activity capture, sequencing, deal inspection, account planning
Run discovery, UAT, enablement, and adoption measurement for everything you ship; help raise the bar for how BSA work is done on this team
Minimum qualifications
Experience in GTM/Revenue systems as a Business Systems Analyst, Sales Systems Lead, or RevOps Systems role, with real ownership of work in a core funnel domain such as lead management, opportunity and pipeline, renewals and account management, or partner channel
Experience designing and rolling out a lifecycle, process model, or forecasting motion at a fast-growing company, owning it from discovery through enablement and adoption
Credibility with GTM stakeholders: you've been in the pipeline review, forecast call, or planning session, and you can push back when there's a better answer
Hands-on Salesforce skills, with comfort building meaningful parts of your own solution (Flow, validation, assignment and routing, page and Path design) and specs that make the handoff to developers clean
Crisp communication across GTM teams, leadership, RevOps, and engineers, adjusting altitude for each
Preferred qualifications
5+ years of experience in GTM/Revenue systems roles
Salesforce Administrator certification
Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, or Sales Cloud Consultant certification
Experience partnering with RevOps or Sales Strategy on team-structure questions (ownership, routing, splits, territory) and turning those decisions into working system design
Experience across more than one part of the customer lifecycle, such as lead, opportunity, renewal, or partner
Curiosity about AI-assisted systems work and eagerness to fold it into how you design, build, and document; prior hands-on use is a strong plus
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$270,000

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced public opinion researcher to build and expand Anthropic's in-house polling and research function. This role will be fundamental to understanding how key audiences — from policymakers and third-party groups to the general public — perceive and respond to Anthropic's policy positions, messages, and campaigns. This is a foundational role: you'll establish the research function from the ground up, with high autonomy and limited precedent.
The Central Policy team sits at the operational heart of Anthropic's policy function — distinct from government relations and communications, but essential to enabling both. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure our policy and communications strategy is grounded in a rigorous understanding of stakeholder sentiment. The polling insights you generate will directly feed into high-visibility campaigns and will be a key asset in our policy efforts in Washington and beyond.
Anthropic is equal parts research lab, policy think-tank, and technology startup. We care deeply about the safe development of AI systems and build partnerships with governments through proactive, opinionated, substantive policy conversations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI policy, bringing rigorous research discipline to policy strategy.
Success in this role means establishing trusted relationships with leading polling firms around the world, delivering high-quality research on a regular cadence, and becoming the internal expert on how key audiences perceive AI, Anthropic, and Anthropic's positions and messages. You'll translate polling insights into strategic recommendations that measurably improve campaign effectiveness, and build scalable processes that allow the function to grow efficiently as demand increases.
Key responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive strategy for our in-house political research function that aligns with Anthropic's policy goals
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with leading research and polling firms, ensuring coverage across demographics, geographies, and political perspectives
Conduct detailed, proactive research to test core messages, policy proposals, and campaign themes, and to evaluate Anthropic's brand perception and performance
Execute rapid-response polling to quickly assess Anthropic's messaging strategy in response to external events, policymaker actions, competitive developments, or emerging opportunities
Work with external affairs colleagues (federal, state, and international) and policy communications to identify research priorities, interpret findings, and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations
Develop and maintain a knowledge management system for polling data, insights, and recommendations that ensures findings are accessible and actionable
Manage polling vendors at scale, including vendor performance management
Participate in strategy sessions and provide thought partnership on the design of messages, policy proposals, and campaigns ahead of polling and testing
Create clear, compelling deliverables that distill polling findings into insights and recommendations
Identify opportunities to build and scale the polling function over time, including staffing needs, process improvements, and capability expansion
Track and report on the impact and utility of research, measuring how insights translate into more effective campaigns and strategic decisions
Minimum qualifications
Experience designing and executing public opinion research, including survey and questionnaire design, sampling approaches, and message testing
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative polling data and translate findings into clear, decision-ready written recommendations
Experience selecting, briefing, and managing external polling or research vendors
Strong writing and presentation skills, including distilling complex research for senior, non-technical audiences
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in political or public opinion research, ideally spanning multiple campaign cycles and policy environments
Corporate public affairs experience, ideally in a highly scrutinized or regulated industry
Strategic thinking that spots emergent issues, identifies and tests the right messages, and translates those insights into tactical recommendations
A track record of building relationships with vendors, external experts, and complex stakeholder ecosystems
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain clear priorities, and deliver on tight timelines
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, taking ownership of problems, and proactively driving initiatives with limited precedent
A resourceful, collaborative working style and genuine commitment to being a strong teammate
Passion for AI policy and alignment with Anthropic's safety mission and commitment to responsible AI development

About the role:
As a Field Executive Architect, you will serve as Anthropic's senior technical voice with our most strategic customers. You'll engage directly with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders at the world's largest enterprises to understand their business, align stakeholders around a clear vision for how AI fits into their strategy, and create momentum toward adoption of Anthropic's products.
This is not a hands-on-keyboard engineering role. Your job is to walk into a room full of executives, quickly understand their business and technical landscape, and help them see a clear path forward with Claude. You'll then partner with Sales and Applied AI teams to ensure that vision translates into execution -- checking in on high-momentum accounts, maintaining executive relationships, and keeping deals on track. Internally, you'll serve as a sponsor for enterprise customer needs, working with Product to ensure that what matters most to our largest accounts is heard and prioritized.
You'll bring deep experience in enterprise technology and a track record of operating at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. Whether you've been a CTO, VP of Engineering, Field CTO, or a world-class senior technical salesperson, what matters is that you've seen how large organizations make technology decisions and can meet executives where they are -- with credibility, clarity, and conviction.
Responsibilities:
Engage directly with C-suite and senior technical leaders at Anthropic's largest and most strategic accounts, aligning business and technical stakeholders around a clear vision for AI adoption
Prepare for and lead high-stakes customer engagements -- executive briefings, EBCs, on-site workshops -- that change the trajectory of key accounts at critical inflection points
Partner with Sales and Applied AI teams before and after engagements to game plan approach, debrief on outcomes, and ensure the vision carries through to execution
Lean in on high-momentum accounts after initial engagement, maintaining executive relationships, providing strategic guidance to the Sales and Applied AI teams, and sustaining deal momentum
Serve as an internal sponsor for enterprise customer needs, translating field feedback into clear priorities for Product and ensuring the most important enterprise requirements are heard and acted on
Bridge the gap between our field organization and Product org -- helping each side understand the other's priorities, constraints, and roadmap
Travel regularly to customer sites for executive engagements, workshops, and strategic account meetings
You may be a good fit if you have:
15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with significant time spent in senior technical leadership or senior technical sales roles (CTO, VP of Engineering, Chief Architect, Field CTO, or similar)
A track record of engaging credibly with C-suite executives and senior technical leaders at large enterprises -- you can hold the room and earn trust quickly
Deep understanding of how large organizations evaluate, buy, and scale technology -- you've seen the inside of these decisions from a leadership seat or from the sales side of the table
Enough technical depth to understand modern AI systems and their enterprise applications, and enough business acumen to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes
Experience translating between technical and business audiences -- you can make complex topics clear and compelling for both
Strong opinions about what makes enterprise technology adoption succeed or fail, informed by having led or closely advised these efforts
The ability to navigate ambiguity and move fast in a rapidly evolving market -- you're comfortable operating without a detailed playbook and building the plane while flying it
A collaborative mindset -- sales at Anthropic is a team sport
Excitement about AI's potential to transform how enterprises operate, and a genuine desire to help customers succeed with it
Willingness to travel regularly for customer engagements

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Data Center Security Engineering (DCSE) owns physical security across Anthropic's data center footprint: the sites, the hardware inside them, and the supply chain that delivers it. The Security Fusion Platform is where physical security signals from across that footprint are correlated and put in front of the analysts who act on them. It carries continuous monitoring, audit evidence, metrics, and analyst response, along with the classification and analytics pipelines that turn sensor data into events. You'll build and own the platform analysts work from.
This is a foundational role. You'll build the software platform that carries a signal from source to analyst decision, ship its first versions, and keep them running in production. The sensors and systems at each site belong to other DCSE engineers; you define the event contract their owners deliver to, and you build the classification and analytics pipelines that run over what those sources produce. Physical security systems engineers own the operations spaces; you own the software that runs in them. You'll work alongside engineers focused on the sites themselves. What you lead, you own end to end: the design, the technical approach, and the result in production.
You'll work with external vendors and integrators, setting requirements and acceptance criteria for what you own and deciding what the team builds itself. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
This role involves regular travel to data center sites. No security clearance is required. These are critical services, and you'll take part in on-call for them.
Key responsibilities
Design and build the event bus and normalized event schema:
source identity, sequencing, health state, and the adapter contract that owners of each sensor and system feed build to, plus adapters where needed
Build correlation and alerting:
the rules and services that turn events from independent sources into alerts an analyst can act on
Build the classification and analytics pipelines:
computer vision and multi-sensor fusion, with results landing on the event bus
Build analyst surfaces:
the queue, escalation tooling, dashboards, camera viewers, and video wall content a 24/7 watch works from, plus video analytics integration so camera streams arrive on the bus as events
Deliver audit evidence:
durable, tamper-evident event history, evidence exports, and the retention and access controls around them
Instrument metrics and self-monitoring:
detection rates, nuisance ratios, alert aging, time to resolve; heartbeats and loss-of-telemetry alarms on every feed, tested fail-secure behavior, and change audit on every rule
Deploy across sites:
site-local components, central services, and the sync that keeps configuration, rules, and state consistent, then commission each site and hand over to the analysts
Specify the compute the platform runs on
(servers, storage, and the platform's network segment) to the team's segmentation and hardening baseline
Write requirements and acceptance criteria
for what vendors and integrators deliver, review deliverables against them, and make the call on accepting or rejecting the work
Minimum qualifications
Have built and run event-driven backend systems in production
Are proficient in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and have worked with a message bus or event streaming system such as Kafka
Have owned a system end to end: set the design, made the tradeoffs, shipped it, and answered for it in production
Have integrated with external systems you did not control (vendor APIs, on-prem appliances, video platforms, building systems) and designed for a life beyond any one vendor
Have directed vendor or integrator work: written requirements and acceptance criteria, reviewed deliverables against them, and decided what gets accepted
Design for the failure you won't see coming (a silent feed, a lost network path, a replayed event, a de-tuned rule), know how your system behaves when a source lies or goes quiet, and test for it
Build tools for people who use them under pressure and iterate with those operators
Preferred qualifications
Experience building or operating a security operations platform (SOC, physical security operations, or the detection engineering behind one)
Experience building ML or computer vision inference pipelines over video and sensor streams
PSIM (physical security information management) or VMS (video management system) integration experience, or familiarity with physical access control and building systems data
Experience producing evidence for auditors or assessors: log integrity, retention, chain of custody
Experience using AI-assisted development tooling as a core part of your workflow

We are looking for
Head of Design
.
Your main tasks will be:
Own the end-to-end the product's user experience — from ad creative and landing pages through onboarding, avatar selection, chat, media generation and retention loops — holding the whole journey consistent, not just individual screens.
Grow product metrics through design: conversion to purchase, retention, LTV. Form hypotheses, prioritize them, validate through A/B tests and see them through to release.
Set a single design direction and evolve the design system: UI, UX patterns, character visual style, generated content, animation and UX copy.
Lead the design team (2 product designers, a UX writer, a researcher), build the processes and the cross-functional work with product, analytics, marketing and engineering.
Turn research, user interviews and support insights into concrete roadmap initiatives aligned with business priorities.
We expect from you:
3+ years leading a design team of 3 or more in B2C daily-use products — AI companions, social, dating, health & fitness, edtech, messengers; products with 2M+ MAU or $50M+ in revenue.
Cases with measurable design impact on metrics: what you changed, why, and how it moved CR, retention or LTV — with before and after numbers.
Strong product design expertise: UX, UI, user flows, information architecture, prototyping; confident in Figma; experience building and maintaining design systems.
Proven cross-functional work with product and analytics: A/B testing, prioritization frameworks (RICE), data-driven decisions — design as part of the product, not a separate function.
A strong visual eye and taste paired with an analytical mind; English at C1 or above.
What do we offer:
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
to work full-time;
The
initial pay level
or
pay range
for this role will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process and before the commencement of employment;
Vacation
28 calendar days per year;
7 wellness days per year
(time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
Bonuses up to $5000
for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
50%
payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings;
Corporate discount for
English lessons;
Health benefits.
According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
Workplace organization.
The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
Internal gamified gratitude system:
receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for our merchandise, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.
